i finally got around to watching the new watcher video and i really don't know why people are still giving them shit in the comments. i think this is a wonderful apology given the situation, and i think it's reasonable that it took them some time to formulate it.

since it happened to me and a friend today. i feel the need to say something. this probably wont get to the people who need to hear this but im saying it anyways.

you don't have to agree with a non-canon ship. it's perfectly fine to not ship it. i'm not asking you to. but i am asking you to not be an asshole. and coming into someone's inbox to be hateful is just not okay. i've been getting nasty messages randomly since i started writing because apparently some people are bothered by fictional sapphics.

lesbians are not dirty, gross, or disgusting. lone star is quite a queer-friendly show, and a chunk of this fanbase is being extremely lesbophobic. and that's not okay. i fear what would happen if there was an actual canon lesbian character in this show, not just headcanons. this is my place i can be me. and you're making it unsafe. yes i can go offline to avoid it. but i shouldn't have to do that. i should be able to come here to talk to my friends without seeing it. it took me a long time to accept myself, and then when i do, i get messages saying wretched things about me, about people like me, over fictional characters who have identities similar to me. because i write about women together.

do you know something that pisses me off

HOW IGNORANT PEOPLE ARE TO DISABILITIES THAT ARENT VISIBLE

ok so the other week i was out with my boyfriend and he needed the bathroom so went into the disabled one and i just stood there waiting for him

there was this lady staring at us the full time which i presumed was because we’re both alternative

my boyfriend comes out of the toilet and just as we’re about to walk off this lady comes over to us looks at my boyfriend and starts going off like

”you know thats a disabled toilet right? be respectful and go find another one what if someone who was actually disabled had to use that bathroom huh?”

now, my boyfriend can get quite quiet at confrontation now with strangers he never used to but now he does whereas for me i used to be quiet now i’m not lmao

so i speak on behalf of my boyfriend

”excuse me but he actually is disabled and has every right to use that disabled bathroom, he has a very rare heart condition not to mention he is not long recovering from a stroke, he used the railings in the disabled bathroom to balance, if you listen closely you can even hear his heart ticking, just because he’s not in a wheelchair or missing a limb or is visibly diabled doesnt mean he doesnt have a disability”

the woman pure looks at me dead snidy like as if she still believed she was in the right n also looked offended like how dare i speak up to her it was amazing

STOP JUDGING OR PRESUMING PEOPLE DONT HAVE DISABILITIES OR THE RIGHT TO USE DISABLED TOILETS OR DISABILITY CHAIRS ON TRANSPORT ETC BECAUSE THEY ARENT VISIBLY DISABLED

ALSO JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS YOUNG DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE FULLY ABLE BODIED OR DONT HAVE CERTAIN CONDITIONS OR GO THROUGH MAJOR MEDICAL EVENTS THAT NORMALLY ONLY OLDER PEOPLE SUFFER FROM

so due to several health issues and bad mental state in 2019 i dropped out from uni, it was not my thing and my major ( english ) was making me very unhappy, since then i focused on my health and trying how to live with sicknesses that are going to be there for the rest of my life.

it 2022 i decided that once again, i am going to give uni a try and continue my economy degree that i already have but improve it with international business.

And I am so excited to start it and you know I really want to do it till the end, but i already heard comments

" you are 24, try to have a family not studies'', '' you are too old for that'' '' you are going to fail anyways ''

and it pisses me off so much, so i want to remind some of you, that studies have no age, education have no age, you are NEVER too young or too old to do something you want to do, live your life for yourself, not others!! it is okay to have different dreams than people and you do you bestie!

It's so hard trying to meet new people during transition. I hate myself and how I look sooo much that I'm immediately wary of anyone who takes a liking to me because there is nothing about me to like. So then I cut them off because clearly they're just a chaser/using me (even tho there is no evidence of that being true).

when i say "furby' i don't just mean the full bots, so plushies, furblets, figurines, mcdonalds toys, etc all count. count handmade/oddbody/fake furbs in the count even if you own "official" furbys as well.

ex. two bots, one plush, three mcdonalds toys, and a long furby would be seven total furbs.

obviously i understand that the shaniac/boogara labels were initially coined as a means of expressing whether or not you believe in ghosts, but now that the boys have moved on and have a wider variety of shows where they can express more opinions, i propose we expand the labels for other things they have taken strong and opposing positions on.

for example, i'm a shaniac for ghosts, but also a shaniac of breakfast cereals (not only is oatmeal a cereal it is, indeed, the best one), tourism (the more run down and out of the way a tourist trap is, the better it's gonna be), and shipping discourse (a pairing becomes boring the second it goes canon).
