#no one can stop me from making shitty memes about vanilla sky thank you and goodnight #why is it so good. 😐 #movies that change your life? yeah. yes. absolutely. #i thoroughly enjoy and love that movie #im just gonna rant about it here rq #tom cruise is actually pretty decent in the film but hes still so fucking cringe but ANYWAYS theres like 3 scenes that really just . #you know . #like life changing actually #ok actually 5 #oh yea theres spoilers bt dubs so look away if you want #the first one which is my fav is when david 'meets' sofia at that beautiful park and theres really pretty music playing and then as he talks #more and more to her he realizes its all a dream and just. the tears in davids eyes gets me every single time like that scene absolutely #breaks and destroys my heart its just so fucking SAD OH MY GOD and theres so much pain and sadness in his eyes:( #k the 2nd one is the suicide scene obvi bc like??? its amazing?? not saying suicide is great and cool but like the way that scene builds up #tension with the soundtrack and dialogue and ends with just silence is so...like perfect its literally perfect and haunting . #ok 3rd one is the club scene and i probably have bias bc i just Really Love club scenes in films and i literallt cant get enough of them eve #r. like you can never go wrong with a club scene. my beautiful laundrette? AMAZING CLUB SCENE. but im a cheerleader? yes. vanilla sky?? you #bet!!!!!!!!!!!! god i fucking love the club scene in vanilla sky its very good at painting davids loneliness and how terrifying he becomes #and stuff. #4th one - the murder scene. literally. tell me a more perfect scene. you cant because its that. like the way david is having sex and then #the camera pans to his hand on the wall and then in that same shot they 'switch' the girl under him?????? like the coordination and detail #can you imagine???????? and THE END OF THAT SCENE OH MY GOD where he covers her face and then looks at the mole on her chest and just Knows #he killed the wrong person ohmygodohmygodohmygod i love this movie. and tom cruises expressions r very great in that scene. #last is obvi the rooftop scene and when david tells sofia 'i lost you when i got in that car' it makes me cry and fills me with physical #pain like its so sad and for what?????? #anyways i love this film thank you if you read this whole rant and oh did i mention how awesome the soundtrack is??? literally one of the #best movie soundtracks ive ever heard in my entire life. #thank yoi good night #vanilla sky #tom cruise
