So right off the bat, we should establish that Qui-Gon is not the paragon of Jedi propriety that some folks think he is. His more grey interpretation of the rules leads him to form quite a serious attachment with you, even if you can’t understand why at first.

His focus is on his and then your feelings for each other. If you have concerns or anxieties about your body/self-image he would sense the negative feelings but wouldn’t quite grasp them on his own.

In his eyes your body is amazing for everything it can do. The absolute beauty/physical attraction of it is just an added bonus! (Because yes I do personally believe on a rather base level he is very attracted to and interested in larger people).

As your partner, Qui-Gon cares for you deeply and completely. He adores your mind and body equally and will constantly shower you with praise and flirtations with the sole goal of making you glow and blush. If you’re still navigating your journey with body acceptance it’s his go-to defense against any negative thoughts or self-talk on your part.

Although Qui-Gon is a master of the force and subtle charms, he knows best of all his order when a fight cannot be won with words- although he will always try to convince nay-sayers first. If you’re ever faced with ignorance or remarks/attacks on your appearance and value as a person, he will not hesitate to throw hands. If the remarks are said carelessly but hit on a deep issue for you that sort of unnecessary cruelty is abhorrent to him and cannot be left alone.

Since he isn’t supposed to have a dedicated romantic partner, there are fewer comments directed at him. However, once the rumors start to circulate about the inappropriate nature of your relationship any sort of ill-said gossip is quickly found out and shut down. His love for you is not a failing, or a hindrance to his faith but a reason to keep fighting for what is good within the galaxy. No matter what small-minded folk may spread amongst themselves, he knows there is no shame in loving you and will not stand to let you think there is.

Should you ever express discomfort towards your typical gear or work clothes he will do everything within his power to ensure your comfort. Just because he thinks you look good in everything and nothing doesn’t mean you’re comfortable being out and about in it. Qui-Gon has a very thorough way of thinking and will respect whatever boundaries you have, often even if you haven’t fully verbalized them.

When he finally has you all to himself after days of work, Qui-Gon loves sinking his fingers into the generous expanse of your hips, clawing down your stomach and thighs- the way you feel around him is so soft yet strong that it’s dizzying. Your body was built to be worshiped, and he is dedicated to that practice.
