Sends email to manager cus other company isnt following their own policy > manager sends email to their manager > call other company with very specific request > employee tells me they probably wont be able to do that because of policy and there was an email sent out about it > employee checks email confirming that they need to do what I ask because I am the reason for the email

I was a fan of OFMD S1, like, loved it, hyperfixation central, but didn't get involved in fandom beyond tweeting a load of my own meta, then S2 happened, me and my friends just ADORED it, I came online looking for fandom, and it was like '...oh no what's happening'. Finding a few blogs like yours has been a lifeline because I WANT to do fannish things and talk about the show and do meta and suchlike, but there's this huge wave of 'nope nope nope' I've been trying to navigate and avoid. I've been doing fandom fuckery for like fifteen years, so I've seen a lot, and I've seen a lot of shit go down like this, but it still hurts when you have so much joy and love that you just want to share. One thing I will say, for anyone whose losing hope or feeling down, is that it does seem to be a few people being very loud on the internet - I went to comic con in London with a friend to meet some of the cast, and all of the conversations I had in auto/photo queues with other fans were extremely sensible, rational, people talking about how they loved the show, fanning together, and quite a few conversations that were like 'I don't understand what people on the internet are saying, it's really weird?'. Was chatting with someone cosplaying as Calypso's Birthday Izzy, and the topic of the finale came up, and my friend and I were bracing for what the response would be, and they were like 'oh I really loved it, broke my heart but so good, hope we get a season three!'. It's really stark to see the response in person, the level of love and adoration and joy around this show, that really doesn't match up with the internet experience I was having. Anyway, thanks for being a blog I could cling to as I try to find a place in this fandom, and helping be part of a space where people can express and share how much they love this show (and feel like we're not actually going mad for doing so).
💕 thank you anon i'm glad my blog feels welcoming!
one of the main reasons i continue to engage with shit takes etc is bc of the sheer amount of people who have sent asks/dms saying that they feel unable to post izzy critical content or they aren't enjoying engaging with the fandom bc of the amount of izzy-related weirdness that's going on
and it's important for people to be able to see that they're not alone, they're actually part of the majority, it's just that the minority are very good at yelling and harassing anyone who dares to post stuff they disagree with
(that sounds so wanky. i am fully aware i'm sitting on my couch and typing on the fandom website like i promise i'm not under any illusions that this is a whole Cause or anything i just. want folks to be able to post izzy critical meta in the izzy tag without getting bullied for it)
ofmd is an incredibly special show and the fandom is mostly a really nice friendly space with some great art and fics from some of the most talented people i've ever met and really insightful meta and beautiful gifsets and it's such a shame that the whole thing gets tainted by a few idiots

I'm awake and it's time for a mini announcement.
This blog is in fact Nimue focused 90% of the time, meaning Nimue is going to become the only go to muse again if people don't specify.
What does this mean for the blog?
Well.. nothing other than the fact I will zoom in on Nimue threads and they will be auto posted while others go into the queue. Sorry not sorry but I'm really tired of trying to play 'keep it even' when most of my drive goes for her muse. Other OC's as well will get the auto post treatment.
This doesn't mean I don't want the threads I have with other characters, I DO, but I burn out more quickly with them I've noticed. Of course exceptions will be made if my brain decides to hyper focus on a thread.
I'm here to have fun and honestly, lately I've been feeling like I have to treat every thread equally but I need to remember that I can do things at my own pace and pick favorite muses if I want.
" Well Star why don't you just make a multi sideblog and make this a single muse "
I have tried, it did not go well. I ended up ignoring it in favor for Nimue and I sort of let threads pile up. Plus it's bad enough I have a sideblog for fankids and for nsfw, I don't need to add to it.
Just know that even if you don't interact w/ Nimue, that doesn't mean our threads are going to go unanswered. I will continue every thread I have until I say something to you personally. And usually by then I'm often close to finishing up a thread / there's nothing more to add.
If this is a problem for those following me and they want to follow, I'm sorry. It was nice while you were here, but I need to factor in my own comfort levels and interests.
Thank you for your time.

Turning the queues on all my blogs up to max and letting them run out. Checking to make sure my ad-free sub isn't going to auto-renew. I'm turning out the lights after almost 10 years here. Fuck you @photomatt I hope you get hit with hammers.
@theponyarchive @thisisstarfleet @i-like-thing and @roombaton-resort are going dark by the end of the week
I would say find me elsewhere but this is the last social i used and i'm going to see how it feels to be free for a while

batch of fic recs
Hi all! Have been away from this blog for a minute (auto-posting fanart from the enormous queue) - still catching up on all the incredible fic from the past few months, but wanted to throw out some recommendations for a few that have lately knocked my socks off (Ed/Stede unless otherwise specified). So, if you're in the mood for...
... A tender, heartwarming one-shot: "Fluff" by offsammich (8K, T) -- Ed is a (successful but depressed) pet portrait photographer, and Stede is a goofy dog-owner and surprise Instagram celebrity. One of the sweetest, most feel-good stories I've read in ages.
... Genre-bending, love-in-every-universe vibes: "Telescope" by Jimsnose (20K, E) -- A hurt Ed and repentant Stede look at their love stories in other timelines with the help of a magic telescope. Achingly gorgeous and unpredictable.
... Clever, charming modern AU Steddyhands: "it's nothing written in the sky" by @thesoulundone (22K, E), sequel to the exquisite "no more empty self-possession" (76K, E) -- love some Stizzy-heavy Steddyhands, and nobody does it better (for my money one of the best writers in the fandom, which is seriously saying something). This time Ed and Izzy join the Bonnet-Allamby gang for the winter holidays, and it's funny and sexy and sweet in turn.
... Soulmates on a high-stakes, edge-of-your-seat adventure: "the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce" by veeagainst (25K, E) -- Ed is a time traveler and Stede runs an underground nightclub in 1930s Berlin. Heart-melting romance meets fast-paced drama, a serious pleasure to read.
... Actor RPF: "always 11pm somewhere" by afterism -- A warm and funny series of increasingly flirtatious phone calls between the leads. Hot and playful and hits all the right notes in stride.
... Something light and funny to brighten your day: "Trade Descriptions Act" by ElapsedSpiral (5K, T) -- OK, not exactly a new fic, but new to me and I can't get enough of it. Ed steals Stede's identity, proceeds to fall for a cute blonde stranger without realizing who he is - "idiots in love" in the most charming way.
Enjoy!!! 🌈🏴‍☠️

18 & 9!
munday asks
9. did you have muse you tried to play, but ended up dropping for various reasons? (the rpc wasn’t active, you lost interest, etc)
yeah my first ever muse on tumblr was a character from one of jin yong's wuxia novels to match a wuxia-themed mfrp group, but that group died within a month with like 0.5 interaction for me so lol r.i.p. and after that i decided heck it i'm gonna pick up a muse with an actual series for citta which went much better
i also made an OC once based on this daoist immortal dude (except bishie) who i really liked but was too indecisive to figure out how to character develop him so then i deleted his blog lol
18. did you ever play a muse for more than a year?
there's a good number of them i think! (can't remember the hiatuses or the auto-queues but their archives span multiple years) there were the 3 main swordboys who stuck around (yaman/kasen/yagen), dahlia hawthorne, QB, and mary sue too tho she took like a 2-year vacation and is on another one atm

so are you on hiatus or still posting or...? what's the deal w/that
Hey Anon...
I'm not sure if you're just joshing me or being silly, or are being serious or whatever but your ask comes off as rude, especially since I try to have a post every half hour or so from 8 AM EST until noon DAILY (since I discovered those are my peak hours), unless I have no content, which y'all provide me with through asks and suggestions. I have posted fic recs EVERY Friday for over 3 years and curate a fic rec list nearly every Sunday unless I take a break / holiday. My blog tags are specifically designed to show me where in the cycle a post is, and, a lot of the "selling" point to this blog is its interactivity (where I check the replies and additions on every post that reblogs each day and I tack it onto the main post).
Granted, I don't post nearly as much as I used to (because it was affecting my mental health, and I have a day job I work between 40 and 60 hours a week with very little free time, and I'm back at the office so I can't post during work hours anymore) so I had to cut my queue back to auto-post 3 posts a day so I don't run out of posts before month's end. I also prep my blog the night before the next day, so I spend anywhere between 2 and 4 hours NIGHTLY, AFTER my day job, to file, answer asks, and schedule posts so that my blog LOOKS active.
AND if no one sends me asks or asks I'm not ready to answer (bad headspace, too long to reply so I save it for another day, etc), then the queue the next day is, admittedly, smaller and instead is about 1 post an hour up until 3 PM EST. All my new posts from asks get answered and posted between 8 AM and 11 AM, unless I have no content / next-day-reblogs, then I slot other asks into the 11 AM until 2 PM slots. I try not to do that on first posting, though, 'cause as I said, my peak hours are early morning so I'd rather have people see those ones first.
When I'm on hiatus, I pin a post to my blog. My Lovelies and Lurkers™ know when I am on Hiatus and are very understanding and know that I am a human being who needs a break once in awhile. I'm sorry I'm not posting up to your standards, Anon, I truly am, but I just physically can't anymore, since like, 90% of my free time is dedicated to either sorting fics or answering asks. And I don't really have the energy to do it at the rate I was doing it when I was working from home. I rarely take a break from this blog as it is.
Perhaps Tumblr has unfollowed you from my blog, which is why you don't see my posts anymore (it has happened, I've had to re-follow people before), but I can assure you, I have new content DAILY unless I have no asks I'm ready to answer. Some days are less than others, because, again, I am only human, and I have no obligation to provide content daily. I do it because I LOVE doing it. But asks like this make me feel like all my work is for naught. *shrugs*
Less is more, Anon. 💜🖤

hey staff
can you put the new layout changes under a toggle/dash setting?
right now i have this layout:
Tumblr media
ok, now compare it to this layout:
Tumblr media
and this one:
Tumblr media
all of these have the tabs on the left sidebar, a few options on the very top, and content in the middle.
versus tumblr's old layout:
Tumblr media
which has all the stuff on the right, the navigation tabs at the top right to make them easier to access (less scrolling), and generally less busy/cluttered.
In staff's guiding principles post, you mentioned that you wanted to make tumblr 1) easier to use and 2) better for creators, so as an artist, i would like to say that the new layout is less intuitive and harder to use.
With the new layout, the account tabs (drafts, queue, activitiy) are in a place where I have to scroll down to access them. Tumblr Mart is all the way at the bottom, so I have to scroll even more to browse the shop. The activity badges are disjointed from the main activity/messages/inbox button, and the activity popup gets in the way of the main dash instead of staying unobtrusively on the side. In the main dash, the dash tabs are all the way at the top instead of comfortably around eye level, and the tumblr "t" is poking out instead of sitting neatly in the corner.
Generally with the new layout, I have to look around more (if i'm scrolling, i'm looking up and down, then i have to either go all the way up and lose my place or look all the way down to create a new post. To check tags I have to go to the left again, and then I can't read it while scrolling because the popup covers my dash. If i want to go find something in my drafts or queue, I have to go left and scroll down a bunch before I find it, meaning I'm constantly looking left and right and up and down with the new layout.
but i get it, maybe some people might want it, and anyways you need to do something to show your boss you're at least trying to make the site somewhat profitable. so i'm not posting this all just to complain about the layout.
instead, can I propose something like this:
Tumblr media
You could have it automatically off if you're worried about new users, while still giving people the option to "Curate [their] Dashboard" and customize their experience!
In fact, you could probably add a few more options & toggles for various features, such as rearranging dash tabs, blog link in header vs url, or auto pause ads (they can still be there, just paused for accessibility)!
@staff @changes @wip @humans @photomatt hopefully you guys see this!

Decided it was finally time to make an pinned post!
Hi. I'm Cass. I'm a 28 year old butch lesbian that loves to garden, crochet, and play games of all kinds- video games and ttrpgs. So many ttrpgs. I've played D&D for 12 years now and have fallen in love with many other table top systems! I'm also learning to sew.
I'm single right now and don't mind being flirted with :3
I made this blog to raise my self esteem because I've had some pretty bad body image issues in the past. When I finally fully embraced my butchness a few years ago, my sense of self love really shot through the roof. It's a work in progress, but progress is what matters and it isn't always linear and that's okay!
Please lmk if there's something you need or want tagged and I'll do my best to remember. I also use the queue a lot on this blog and am really shit at tagging it.
Auto block:

This is a plural positivity blog
it says it in the title.
as a result this blog will not involve itself in any kind of discourse. it is only here to spread positivity about the various kinds of plurals and systems and non-singlets. if you bring any discourse in here (syscourse, shipcourse, whatever) you will be dealt with accordingly (I will delete and block.)
friendly reminder that a DNI goes both ways! if you dislike specific kind of plurals and are going to be an ass about it, this place isn't for you.
I hope you'll like it here!
More about the gal who runs this place?
I am a big big polyfragmented and introject-heavy system. with an extended innerworld and way too many layers to count. couple that with the Autism, the ADHD, trauma and maybe a mood disorder, and youve got us
hi, you can call me Starlight, Hen or Stuffie. Collective pronouns It/They/He, you're always safe using these. my main plural blog is at @starlight-chickens.
I run this daily affirmations blog because I want to contribute to the community evolving while not straining my already limited energy too much, so I came up with a short system that allows me to spend about a hour to plan out a week of posting each weekend or so, which i then queue up for auto posting; then combine that with sparse reblogs from other positivity blogs

I feel old for asking, but what's "the queue" you always mention? Am I missing something obvious?
No don't feel bad! It's one of those things that you sort of forget new/irregular tumblr users might not know. Tumblr has a schedule function called the "queue," where you can stick a post you don't want to post/reblog right this second into a scheduled line-up that posts at set hours of the day. If there's any posts in your queue, they'll automatically post at some point within those scheduled hours (mine, for ex, is set to post 5 posts a day between 9am and midnight). You can also manually schedule a post's publishing date, just like on Twitter. This is often how you get Tumblr's fun recurring posts like a lot of the annual Ides of March and Halloween posts.
People use the queue for various reasons: some of us don't want to spam our followers with our latest hyperfixation, so we stick stuff in the queue to spread posts about it out over a series of hours/days. Those of us who create content (gifsets, meta, fic, etc) might finish something at 2am but want to post it at a time where we can ensure maximum visibility, so we stick it into the queue and schedule it to go out at 4pm in the afternoon. Sometimes a user is going to be gone for awhile but wants to keep a steady stream of content being published on their blog. There's infinite reasons. The point is that the queue exists for the purpose of scheduling posts/reblogs in advance.
A lot of people tag posts that go into the queue to let their followers know that they're not actually Currently Online and blogging, that the post they're seeing was scheduled in advance and put into the queue. There's actually a fun subculture around coming up with cute, quirky queue tags (usually including some kind of pun or fandom reference), but a lot of us–like me–just put "queue" in the tags to alert people about it. I have an auto tagging function set up through the Xkit extension to tag anything that's put into the queue as such.
tl;dr "if you see the 'queue' tag on one of my posts, it's because I'm not actually here on my computer/phone physically hitting 'reblog' or 'post'; the post was in my blog's tumblr queue."

Some slight updates to my rules, as I'm putting things on the google site and realizing stuff needs edited. So rules undercut, not many changes, but a few, like a new section.
Introduction
Firstly, call me JB. I am over 18. I operate in Eastern Standard Time. I’m newish to DND but I’m very interested in learning and absorbing everything I can about it.
This blog is set up as a semi-private roleplay blog, as in I plan on only interacting with mutuals in roleplay threads, but askbox is open to any. I’m not terribly selective about who I follow back. My only restrictions are
No auto-love interests. I prefer doing build ups for that and I enjoy muses falling in love instead of rushing to the in love part.
Please understand I have astigmatisms, so I need to be able to read what you write, as in make sure there’s good contrast. A lot of the time, black backgrounds with thin white font is not something I can read comfortably so I may not even bother with your blog.
Basic Etiquette
I expect manners from my followers. Do not push me, I have a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment.
Do not control my muses or have your muse know things about my muse they should not.  Do not be too overpowered. Make it fair, let’s roll initiative if we do have a conflict.
Starting OOC drama is a no. If I see it on my dash, I will unfollow and drop any threads we may have. Sorry, but I graduated in ‘09. I don’t have time for that anymore.
Interactions
My desire is for my primaries to be interacted first and foremost, unless you have approached me with an in depth discussion for one of the background muses.
Some of my background muses will require prior interaction with the primary muse they are tied with, unless there is an exception to that.
Shipping
I like shipping. I like discussing potential. What I don’t like is when relationships are assumed or there isn’t prior discussion and interaction. I’m very big on chemistry between characters and roleplayers. So please, let’s chat and interact first.
I’m multiship, I don’t tend to do exclusives. If I do end up doing exclusives, it would be due to having heavily plotted with the other rper and have built up a strong collaborative writing with them. And that takes months for me, so it’s not something that happens often.
My background muses are not open for romantic shipping at this time.
Greeters, Starters, Replies
I don’t do greeters for new followers, as they often are stale and get ignored.
I’ll occasionally post starter calls for specific muses. If I do and you like it, expect me to comb over your blog and write at least a paragraph.
For askbox memes and starters, I try to reply to those within 24-48 hours so you know they didn’t get eaten or whatnot. As for replies to starters for me and threads, I throw those into the queue just so there’s some schedule here.
Triggers and Thus
Tag your nsfw items with a simple tag please. I know tumblr's being a pain, so nsft or usfw works too
I don’t have any major triggers, as I’ve gone to therapy to work through some of them. The color pink is not my friend, though, and if you have a lot of pink in your theme or about your muse, it may take me a little bit to get through the information/get comfortable with them.

I felt like I had to write something due to a misunderstanding that I feel really awful about, because I know it can sometimes be hard to read peoples’ tone online or know their intentions, and I want to be clear about myself for anybody who reads my blog here or is part of my comic community or anything like that.
I have pretty bad social anxiety (and anxiety in general) and I try really hard to consider how things I might say or do would affect someone, because I wouldn’t want to be affected that way myself. So, I would never want to reblog something in a way that was meant to be a mean or pointed direct commentary to a specific person. When I reblog things that are heavily opinionated, it’s usually the equivalent of me sitting in a corner and nodding along with what that person is saying. I wouldn’t ever mean it to be directed at someone specific reading my blog.
I also tend to put a lot of stuff in my queue, which auto posts a few times a day. My queue is backed up for months, so even I’m surprised sometimes by what pops up. Usually I mean this as a fun surprise thing to see later, or it’s not something timely (like a petition or something with action.)
Either way, I want people to know that I want my blog and self to be a kind of safe space, at least in terms of internet drama and petty meanness and that kind of behavior. I’ve been through enough of that myself that I wouldn’t ever want to perpetuate it onto someone else. The things I reblog are just stuff I find interesting or funny or agree with but might not have the words to commentate on myself much further.
To be clear: if I know you, and we are having a problem or communication issue, I will always try to resolve it personally. That’s the kind of way I would want to be treated, so I do my best to treat others in this way as well.
I hope this can help to clear up any misunderstandings about me as a person and my communication style. I prefer to be open whenever possible, I just have a lot of anxiety so sometimes I’m a little shy or slow when responding. I’ve also got a ton of medical issues that I’m dealing with all the time that can really slow me down. So please also know that I wouldn’t purposely ignore a well intentioned comment. I’ve turned on the green activity thing so people can see that I’ve read comments and such now, to help clear up that understanding.
I can’t have my inbox open to anon asks but in general, please don’t be afraid to get in touch with me to clarify what might just be a communication issue. I always want to try and make things right!
Thank you so much for reading.
