1. What is the first fandom you were ever a part of?

It’s hard to tell because I wasn’t super into the online aspect of fandom at this point but it’s between: The Warriors (cats) and Lord of the Rings

First fanfic I read was for the Wingfeather Saga but its fandom is nearly nonexistent lol

6. Favorite headcanon?

I don’t if I have an all time favorite headcannon, though I have ones I’m fond of for several different characters

I headcannon Aizawa as asexual and Jonathan Sims as gnc (gender nonconforming) I also hc Legolas and Gimli as qpp (queer platonic partners)

14. Fandom you keep returning to?

I don’t know if I’ll ever fully return to a fandom with the same intensity as when I first enter it, but my best guess will be Good Omens with the third season coming out

And my absolute favourite thing about Tolkien is that he not only does queer coded romantic relationships like with Turleg, but he also gives us aros some qprs (legolas and gimli, frodo and sam, aragorn and boromir etc etc etc, which of course it's also fine if you interpret those romantically but I like the idea of qprs) and he gives us trans folks some genderqueer rep with the Valar. Like this guy is just.... ASDFGHJKL

warning: These are my less serious list, and are completely random but I think these are the most entertaining :D

-before the quest, sam would leave flowers at Frodo's door and he never knew who it was so he would press them in a book. He only found out after the quest and he used a few pages of the flower book into the red book of the westmarch

-Aragorn likes to collect rocks when he was a kid to show eleond and he was always like "Thats nice awww" and all that. He is 87 and he still does this.

-Arwen is a split image of her ancestor luthien, but Elrond says that she looks a lot like maglor with her hair.

- The children of the shire would play pretend with Bilbo's adventure, often led by Frodo and the tooks. Sam was old enough to start playing with them before they grew too old, and Frodo let him play Thorin one time, and him as course as Bilbo. This memory sticks with Sam too this day.

-Boromir is Aromantic

-Pippin convinced boromir to wear a skirt with him (It was Legolas's skirt) and he did not admit that he actually liked it.

-Pippin wears more fem clothing which really confused Denethor

-Legolas and Gimli eloped on the quest (Aragorn was their officiator)

-Eowyn starts a program in Rohan where she teaches young girl to sword fight & protect themselves.

-Frodo is a good artist and used to draw portraits of Sam, Pippin and Merry. After the quest, he stopped drawing people and focused on sketching out the landscapes that they passed by on the journey. Yet they were always creepy, and slightly distorted in an uncanny way. Elanor finds his old sketchbook one time and gets nightmares of weeks after.

-Arwen taught Eowyn how to embroider tapestries

-Frodo would love to climb the oak tree that bilbo grew in his garden. he never knew where it came from...

-Boromir and Aragorn would argue on who would give the hobbits piggy back rides

-Legolas is rebellious by mirkwood elven standards because he refuses to drink. It causes quite a scandal that thrandruil, the king and biggest drinker, has a child that does not even want to get even a little typsy.

-Bilbo would tell merry and pippin how to do pranks because it reminded him of fili and kili-

-Legolas is nonbinary and uses (they/he) pronouns

-Merry had a big crush on Eowyn, and never knew that the feeling were mutual

-Aragorn talks to trees because he is a gremelin, while legolas actually speaks the languages of the trees. This is how they become best friends

-gandalf big naturals

-Gandalf spent those 15 years between bilbos 111th birhtday and the quest going to village to village tran-sing peoples gender

-Faramir is trans and gandalf was able to give him the right treatment and binders when he was kid before denethor found out. Boromir was happy to have a brother.

-Merry learns how to knit so he can make baby Elanor hats.

-Gimli is the hottest dwarf of Erebor by dwarven standards

-Sam makes Frodo fried mushrooms because he knows its his favorite.

-Lobelia and bilbo have wlw and mlm rivalry

-Merry and Pippin love really weird food combos. Mushrooms and honey? delish. Cherries and salt? yummy. Vinegar cake? even better.

They force every one of the fellowship to try one of these combinations. Aragorn doesn't notice anything bad, Sam eats it because he is polite, Frodo doesn't mind the mushrooms and honey, Boromir throws up, Gimli tells him he should add more meat and Legolas never felt more betrayed in his life.

-Rosie cotton met Goldberry once and they had a sort of relationship where they kissed. She never saw her again, and she thinks it was a dream.

-Tom Bombadil and Goldberry are qpr

-Elladan and Elorhir wanted to adopt merry and pippin until they realized they were ADULTS.

lotr as a ttrpg campaign headcanons

-boromir and gollum are the same player (nice dm let him play as a preexisting character after his first died)

-merry and pippin never played before

-sam dmed the previous campaign and panicked whenever a player did something he did not see coming

-bilbo is the dm's pc from the previous campaign

-the end of fellowship mark the moment the dm gave up on making sessions that fit everyone's schedule and decided to split the party and play with only parts of the group

-legolas and gimli are siblings/best friends/dating/in a qpr out of game

-aragorn bring the best snacks

-treebeard is based on the one of the players (i don't know which one but they either didn't notice or did and are having a blast with it)

-gandalf fuck the dm

LOTR LGBTQ+/MOGAI HEADCANONS!

Disclaimer! This is just my personal opinion based off mainly the movies and the books, and from things the cast/Tolkien has said. Definitely not canon and just for fun!!

Frodo Baggins: He/they pronouns, graysexual aromantic. He and Sam are in a queer platonic romance. When he does feel sexual attractions, they lean towards guys.

Samwise Gamgee: He/him pronouns, pansexual panromantic. He’s a hopeless romantic who longs for a domestic life, which includes Rosie and Frodo.

Meriadoc “Merry” Brandybuck: Look at me and tell me that is not the most transmasc haircut you’ve ever seen. They/he transmac. Bisexual demiromantic.

Peregrin “Pippin” Took: The other half of the bisexual disaster duo. Both bisexual and biromantic, and gets a new crush every week. Has never been on a date in their life. They/them pronouns. Aragorn: He/him pronouns, omnisexual omniromantic. He doesn’t get crushes that often, but he does find a lot of people attractive. He thought Legolas was attractive for a while, which made him realise he has a soft spot for elves.

Legolas Greenleaf: Genderfluid and uses any pronouns. He’s free, like nature. Their sexuality is unlabelled, though he tends to lean towards more masculine-presenting people.

Gimli: He/him, bisexual panromantic. Gets almost as many crushes as Pippin. He and Legolas have an on-again, off-again relationship.

Gandalf: Wizards have no gender, he is a triple A battery: Agender, Asexual spectrum, and Aromantic spectrum. He’s also gay. He doesn’t care what pronouns people use for him. He hasn’t cared about sex or relationships for decades.

Boromir: He/him but he wouldn’t care really if you used they/them. Gay disaster, has women bffs and a major crush on Aragorn. This is true and you know it.

Éowyn: She/they/he non-binary ace for the win. I’m thinking her romantic orientation is unlabelled. She and Faramir started as a QPR and then actually fell in love.

Faramir: Demisexual Demiromantic, he/they. His love for Éowyn is so sweet and pure, the kind of love that only comes with an emotional connection. Best LOTR relationship, FIGHT ME.

Éomer: They/he pronouns, asexual gay? I feel like he hasn’t really figured out yet because they’re just preoccupied with other things. He loves shipping Éowyn with Faramir though, and he ships some of the other riders.

Arwen: She/they, bisexual icon. Powerful and she knows it. A literal badass and only Aragorn is worthy of her. Wants a mix of domestic life and adventure.

Gil Galad, Elrond, and Celebrian propagada: theyre soooo. the high king and his herald, facing unimaginable enemies that have killed all of their families. theyre both so trans also. they can only try to support each other even though the work keeps piling on and people keep dying and all they can do is try to live for each other. elrond has pledged his life to gilgalad and he will always be loyal. gilgalad would die for elrond but he has too many responsibilities and it breaks his heart that he cant say it back. when he does die it is for the world and for love and for elrond. to make a safe world for everyone. when they reunite in valinor they will have changed and learned so much but will still be there for each other, even though they are no longer king and herald.a king and a herald and their best friend. one has pledged their life to the people, the other to him, and the last is just trying to support them. in the midst of so much fear and destruction and uncertainty they stick together and support each other. gil galad dies before them and his loss will stay with them forever. celebrian has to sail to valinor and she must leave behind one for the other. but when elrond sails they will finally all be reunited. gil galad will never meet arwen but she grew up hearing stories about her second father, and strives to be as fair and just a ruler as he. elrohir and elladan are grown by the time they sail but they have until the end of days to make up for lost time. they get a happy ending, even through so much pain and strife. gil galad and celebrian know about elros and his decision to become mortal and how elrond knows it was the right choice for him but has a broken heart anyways. they knew but they didn't realize it would happen to them too. but they love each other and their children and they just want whats best for them. and they take solace in each other, they who still remain even through death. and they hope that when the dagor dagorath comes they can finally see all of their loved ones return from the great adventure of man and fight alongside each other, for even the destruction and renewal of arda cannot mar the happiness at being all together once more.
