hi!! i was hoping you could help with something - ive recently finished the klingon course on duolingo and while crossreferencing my notes against some online klingon dictionary resources, i couldnt find any other instances of a few words duolingo uses - do you know if new words were created for the course, or am i just not using an up-to-date dictionary? for example yugh (made of, comprised of e.g. nagh yugh yuQ) comes up a lot on duolingo but i cant find it anywhere else. many thanks for your informative posts - Qapla!

yugh be composed of, include, comprise, consist of, be made of (v) was made canon in a German qepHom in Saarbrucken, 2015. http://klingon.wiki/En/NewWordsQepHom2015#List_of_new_words has the full list of words released at that convention.

Sounds like I need to publish links to the lists of new words, organised by when they were released.

Terran Place Names

We've accumulated a bunch of terms for Terran places (e.g. England, Wales, China, Pittsburgh, the Irrawaddy River, and so on) that I'm tempted to begin listing those as soon as this list wraps up.

For right now, I'll be continuing with the list of new Klingon terms from the 2023 qepHom, whereupon the Terran place names will begin.

Running Out Of Words From The 30th qep'a'

There are only a few more words left of the qep'a' wejmaHDIch (30th qep'a') to list.

Once the list officially runs out, I'm taking a few days off, and returning after the 2023 qepHom with any new words which they may release. Otherwise, I'm going to look at different categories such as clothing, geography, and so on.
