I need to share the insanity of the plan I came up with for something in Pokémon Black 2

So Pokémon Black and White 2 have a place called the Pokémon World Tournament (PWT) where you can compete in various tournaments against almost every gym leader ever, and even champions of former games. There's all sorts of tournament styles (Rental and Champions my beloveds), but one I've never won at: the Type Expert Tournaments.

In Type Expert, everyone must use exclusively the same Pokémon type, so the opponents are predominantly gym leaders who specialize in each given type.

I spent my free time at work today devising a ridiculous and gimmicky plan to win the Rock Expert tournament:

My strategy is designed for double battles where my opponent and I each have 2 Pokémon on the field and 4 total. The logical way to strategize and win is to use strong Pokémon with secondary types that can exploit the weaknesses of rock types such as Kabutops amd Aggron. I have elected to almost completely ignore that logic and instead came up with Queen's Insane Trick Room Strategy

It goes as follows: Lead with Lunatone (awful Pokémon) and have it set up Trick Room, a move that makes slower Pokémon move first for the next 4 turns.

At the same time, a Shuckle (also awful) uses Power Trick to switch its utterly pathetic base 10 attack with its insane 230 defense. Assuming Trick Room is set up and Shuckle survives the turn (unlikely), Shuckle is in place to sweep for a few turns before being killed.

But that's not all, I still have two other Pokémon. Rampardos has an obscenely high attack, but that's about all it has. Rampardos sucks; I used three on my Diamond and Brilliant Diamond teams. I will use another one in the PWT. I'm gonna use Rampardos' awful speed to take advantage of Trick Room in the likely instance that Shuckle and/or Lunatone is knocked out.

Finally, the only actually good Pokémon I plan to use is Terrakion. A fighting and rock type that will likely shred through opponents like paper. It can also take a crunch from Rampardos to activate its ability and boost attack. Terrakion is going to suffer immensely in Trick Room due to its high speed.

In this project, The Pokemon World Tournament can be challenged! Hailing from Unova, this stadium has plenty of the classic Battle Frontier charms packed in as well in different prixs you can choose, acting as formats for the player to choose both in here and in Online battles as a ruleset option after beating the Prix Master of each category! The challengers you can face are near unlimited, as even Giovanni can visit in the previous iteration - the roster spans from Kanto to Paldea.

In one of the shops, you can use your BP to spend on Mega stones and other held items to incite Mega Evolution, this includes the Red Orb, the Blue Orb, and even the Jade Orb - which is used to nerf Mega Rayquaza in this project.

You do get returning tournaments from B2W2, but we got prixs to act as special rulesets for the nimble-minded: N-verted! Prix - Fight against foes in this odd realm of types, that was only seen used by one trainer now publicized to online use! Mega Prix - Some trainers can pack the Mega Stones on some Pokemon, as well as you now having access to this energy at the cost of a held item as usual. Z-Prix - Use the power of the Z-crystals for one powerful attacks to help change the tide of battle in this rule set! Battle Royale Prix - In this format of Multi-battle, it's everyone for themselves in this fast-paced environment - now with the annoying point mechanics being optional for some players! Dyna Prix - Taking place in a small arena in the middle of the sea, your Dynamaxed pokemon stand behind you above the wake to unleash thier Max moves! Tera Prix - Terastallize your Pokemon to help with your offense or defenses with Tera-boosted moves!

When you do have the time outside of the battles, some of the trainers will be there to talk to and give some items. However there is this one woman who might appear after beating the Champion... She's as tall as that AZ guy you met after beating the League and has a pokemon to her side made of gold. She tells about untold riches in huge ruins under the waves that you can use for personal wealth... or maybe more Pokemon to collect?
