it almost slipped my mind but today is the 1-year anniversary of this blog!! 🥳🥳

when i first started purplesanhwa, i had zero expectations about what this blog would be or what it could become (truly no thoughts, head sanhwa) and i'm so proud and warmed to see sanhwaiting grow this much and come this far :')

it all began one june night with a deep dive down the atinyblr rabbithole and suddenly i had a newfound passion for giffing these 8 guys whom i'd only known for a few days but already meant something special to me

thank you to everyone who has ever interacted with me / my blog and an extra thank you to my lovely mutuals who inspire me every day and always make me feel welcome here on atinyblr 💕💕💕💕💕💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi! It’s me, Maja (if you’ve never seen me, hi, nice to meet you!). 

I recently hit 6k followers and today also marks the day it’s been 5 years since I remade this blog. If that doesn’t scream “it’s time for a follow forever”, then I don’t know what does lol. I just want to say thank you to everyone who decided to follow me, and to everyone who supports the gifs I make sometimes. It really means a lot to me!! This blog has come a long way - and so have I lol. This started out as a purely seventeen blog, but look at me being mostly ATEEZ and Stray Kids (and recently TXT) centered, with a bit of other groups too. I don’t really know what to say, so let’s just get on with it!

yeah soooo not sure if you can tell but i really like bold colours. especially purple, apparently. it’s like, the complete opposite of natural/enhancing colouring lol. i also included some gifs that i made a long time ago that were not ateez stages to show that, yes, i have always been like this when it comes to colours.

and i added the headings bc i always needed a few moments to register which was normal and which was pretty when looking at other cc’s gifs ajkskdfhaj

question from me 😂 why sanhwa? 👀 did you have any other bias (in ateez) before being like "yes, its them 🥰" 😂 go on a rant! 🥰😂

hehe okay! 🥰 (this is gonna be very long) so my atiny / kpopper / sanhwa bias origin story is...

in march last year i was scrolling through tiktok when i saw a video of san doing the fireworks "it's okay" dance move with his pink hair and everything and my heart was stolen just like that hsjdfskjh 💓

i didn't really know anything about kpop and i wasn't interested in finding out at the time >< so i just liked the video and scrolled past it but over the next 3 months i would catch myself thinking about it / him every once in a while and i just couldn't forget his beautiful smile and his pink hair and that move ADFDSKJ

the tiktok audio wasn't even an ateez song but i remembered it was tagged #ateez #san and i thought "there's no way his name is that short" lol but i googled those words anyway because i was curious and then i watched their studio choom fireworks performance and i was blown away 🤯

i didn't like the song that much at first but i loved their dancing and their visuals and of course the first guy who sang in the video was tall gorgeous slicked back hair seonghwa and i was just like "👀 who's that" FHFJFNSF

so then i watched the behind video to see what their personalities are like and i loved how fun and energetic they all were!! and then of course there was the scene where seonghwa was roasting san for closing his eyes when he performs and i laughed sooo hard watching that and they made me smile so much 😂 and that's when i realised that maybe i am actually into these kpop boys 👁👁 and that scared me a little because i didn't want to get caught up in the kpop rabbit hole

but i couldn't ignore how much i liked them so over the next few days i searched up more about ateez and san and seonghwa on google and twitter, binge watched ateez youtube videos, read their 🛸 pm messages, watched their vlives, etc and through all that i fell more and more in love with how amazingly kind and talented they are 💜💜

i also came across some stunning atinyblr gifs!!! and all those funny and pretty gifs inspired me to join tumblr again after 3 years and start creating content for sanhwa / ateez, and so purplesanhwa was born (purple because it's san's favourite colour) and the rest is history 🥰

so to answer your question, no, i didn't have any biases before sanhwa and i don't think they'll ever leave my bias line 💕💕
