the best part about being thin is feeling so precious and dainty.
i looooove when a man picks me up like i’m absolutely nothing. not a grunt or a wheeze. just scooping me safely into his arms like a flower. ugh.

So you wanna purge- here are some foods to avoid!
⭐️ bagels, tortillas, hawaiien rolls. That shit will get stuck and you’ll make a lot of noise trying to get it all out.
⭐️ if it’s really spicy going down, it’s gonna be really spicy coming up
⭐️ tbh purging anything with tomato sauce has ruined me so badly. cant eat pizza or pasta without remembering the specific scent
⭐️ yogurt is so fucking vile to throw up but it’s not hard
⭐️ on the other hand, ice cream? so good. if you do it right after, it’s still kinda cold and it doesn’t taste like death! tbh not a bad experience
⭐️ sushi. stay away from sushi. just… take my word for it please ..
⭐️ SHREDDED WHEATS. listen- i was in high school (and cereal is a huge trigger food for me) i thought i could just throw the cereal back up. nO! it feels like bricks of sandpaper! and it’s like you never even chewed it?????? avoid at all costs.
⭐️ anything red is kinda sus bc is it blood? berries? sauce? who knows!
⭐️ if you never want to eat peanut butter the same way, avoid throwing it up. i had to avoid peanut butter for a long time.
⭐️ soda is so fucking weird to throw up. not bad just so so weird.

Harm Reduction for Self-Induced Vomiting (Purging):
Hi, I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having a hard time with this behaviour right now but I’m proud of you for taking a step towards harm reduction.
There is no safe amount of vomiting, so I do urge you to seek professional help or set a goal towards abstinence (not engaging in the behaviour.)
But I also know that’s not always possible for a variety of reasons, so if you have or are going to induce vomiting, there are some things you can do to reduce harm.
Some of the immediate short term risks of vomiting include a decreased blood sugar, dehydration (and associated decreased blood pressure) and disruption of electrolyte levels, particularly sodium and potassium. These are both really important in the functioning of your muscles, which includes your heart and other internal organs.
To lessen this, it’s very important that you drink plenty of water following. I recommend filling up a water bottle or drinking several glasses. Take your time as your stomach will likely be unsettled. For your electrolytes and sugars, an electrolyte drink or drink additive is good. If you don’t have access to this, a cordial and a small amount of salt (enough that you can taste it but not so much that it makes you feel ill) can be a replacement.
If you can stomach it, a fast acting sugary food combined with a long acting carbohydrate will help with your blood sugar levels. These can include toast with jam or another sweet spread, chocolate or fruit. If you are unable to eat, replacing these with a drink like cordial or fruit juice can help.
Avoid brushing your teeth or doing any other kind of oral hygiene immediately after vomiting. The acid from your stomach strips the enamel from your teeth and brushing further damages them. If you are struggling with the taste, try washing your mouth out with water, or a small amount of dilute mouthwash.
I hope you are doing as well as you can be right now, and know that you are loved and valued. Look after yourself.

Definitely asking that you be pushy, toxic and mean if need be because I seriously need to stick to this goal of mine or I will go insane.

Post Relapse Steps, Part 1 (Purging)
So you’ve just relapsed. I’m so sorry you’ve had to feel this pain again, but you have nothing to be ashamed of.
Remind yourself that this does not erase any of your progress. It is not a step back, just a momentary pause on the journey.
First let’s clean up. If you’re in a bathroom flush the toilet, rinse the sink, or bag the trash.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap, and wipe down your face with a towel and water if possible.
If tooth care supplies are nearby, brush your teeth, floss, and use mouthwash. If you cannot do all, one is ok! Especially mouthwash can be helpful. A bicarbonate soda + water rinse can help protect your enamel.
Now that you’ve gotten cleaned up, let’s get you more comfortable. If you’re at home consider changing into something more comfortable or something different just for a sense of cleanliness.
If you’re not able to, loosen your clothes where possible and take a moment to recenter.
It’s very important now that you get something to drink. Preferably water or an electrolyte drink, but if you only have something else like soda or milk that’s okay too. Get a glass or bottle and drink it consistent deep sips. Try not to rush, but don’t give up until you finish at least a glass or roughly (8oz)
Now what may be the hardest part, picking a snack. After purging many of us want to avoid food completely, but you need to replenish what you lost because purging lowers your blood sugar dangerously.
When choosing a snack try to choose something light enough you won’t get overwhelmed. Things like chocolate, breads, chips, fruit, etc. can be very helpful. However, if you can handle something bigger or heavier go for it! This is not the time to go for greens per say, as they are wonderful but will not help to raise your blood sugar.
Once you’ve gotten your hands on a snack, get to a comfort zone. Your bed, desk, couch, porch, etc. Make yourself comfortable, maybe a blanket or two or a nice chair. Consider putting on a show or movie, or just some music.
Continue to eat and drink gradually and if you continue to be hungry always get yourself more food.
I am so proud of you for fighting to recover. We all have these bad days, but taking care of yourself in the aftermath is an act of resistance against your ED. Keep healing, beloved.

Sometimes I miss who I was when my #ed was more controlling of my life. I was the type to use food as a reward to get stuff done. And I got a lot of shit done.
But then I slowly became my own bully, pushing my depression and self hatred to the edge.
Why wasn’t it ok for her to just eat?
🌸Don’t be your worst enemy.
