The first guitar I’m building, in the early stages of finishing. Much more elbow grease has gone into it since this photo (2 weeks ago) and I’m still not done - but getting there! And yes there’s an obvious transition point from the dark to the fade. I’ve ... made some mistakes, and this is just one step along the way to fixing a number of them.

The pups were all sacked out on the couch very sweetly, so I had to get a picture.

I was heading upstairs at night in the dark on hardwood floor in my socks. And slipped. And hit my head. This was the next day I think; I had just applied some liquid bandage and my black-eye was just getting started.

The next pic is from a few days ago - my wife was having someone over so she asked me to fluff up the pillows on the front couch - the ones that are always flattened by the dogs getting a good view out the window for people and things to bark at. Not a minute after fluffing the pillows and wouldn’t you know it? Smooshed again.

And then on Martin Luther Kind Junior day, my dad & step-mom visited and brought me ANOTHER guitar kit - so suddenly I had two guitars being built from kits. This second one needs a bit more work - lots of drilling for pilot holes, and I’ve been trying to get that beautiful grain to pop.

It’s been a while, you know the drill. I’ve hardly even had the opportunity to scroll through my dash, so I’m completely unaware of anything that’s been going on with you :(

I had my hands full with the dogs while my wife was out of the country running two marathons a week apart (she did great, BTW - she nearly PR’d the 2nd one in London)

Apollo made a mess of himself, but at least he was chill about getting a bath.

Three medium-large dogs are a handful.

Apollo still can’t be trusted. He shredded a book, some papers, headphones, charging cables, coasters, and even got ahold of my wife’s “birthday lama”, something Nora got for her at Target when shopping.

And the last row, he gets angry if the water in the bowls is too low, or sometimes for an unrelated reason and directs his ire at them. He shredded our old rubber placemat to try to contain spillage while drinking, and then he didn’t like the bone-shaped replacement so dumped the water all over that back room.

So we start a new adventure… We're welcoming Juniper Eisley home in the later half of next month, and we're so excited to start this journey together! Juniper is coming from a breeder my parents were familiar with and have their own yorkie from, Fiona. They're from different parents but I trust them implicitly. ♡

i did something good today:-)

a dog was running around with no owner in sight, and she was crossing busy roads. we followed her and cornered her behind a store, and kept her in our car and gave her some water until the owners came because of a tracking chip. me and my family saved a dog:>

her name is remy, and she shed her fur all over our car, but it was so worth it:-)
