Isn’t it funny how certain stories hold so much meaning for us that they’re etched in our memories and become stories we cherish forever?⠀ ⠀ This story is one of those.⠀ ⠀ It was 2008. @successmagazine was hosting their BIG relaunch event. 5,000 people showed up. It was a tribute to the legendary speaker & #mentor — Jim Rohn. (In case you didn’t know Jim Rohn was @tonyrobbins mentor). And I was the opening #keynotespeaker alongside other legendary MASTER MENTORS.⠀ ⠀ There was just one problem…⠀ ⠀ I lost my voice! Can you believe it?! It was the only time in my life that I got laryngitis!⠀ And while John Maxwell gallantly offered to take my spot (I successfully fended him off!
