FFXV fandom - long time no see

I return briefly from lurking in the shadows with a couple of updates.

1. After twelve years in Japan, I have to move back to the US next month for sudden family reasons. Big yuck.

2. I have about 200 doujin (comics) to part with before I go!!

If anyone would be interested in buying some of these doujin for $2~5 a pop, please leave a like and maybe a comment about what you're looking for? I will post an extensive list with photos of what is available if enough people are interested!

I've got Ignoct, Promptio, all four bros, ArdynNoct, ArdynRavus, ArdynProm, basically everything so pleeease won't you give them a new home?

Am I cheating right away by saying a series? Maybe but anyway: 1. [FFXV | Promptio | Explicit] My Ink and Feather Series is by far the longest and most intense thing I've ever worked on.

2. [FFXV | Promptis | Explicit] Ostinato written for the promptis exchange last year. I hand made Prompto's notebook and scanned the pages in amongst a two 5+1 Fics 3. [SK8 | Matchablossom | Explicit] Quixotic was my first ever full length SK8 fic and honestly i think I peaked. 4. [FFXV | Gen | Teen | MCD] Frailty was difficult to write for what are obvious reasons if you've read it, but it was a challenge I enjoyed (thank you Liv) and was very different for me! 5. [FFXV | Promnis | Teen] Toss up between Ultraviolet and another promnis fic for this last slot but this was just fun and I never wanted it to end.

The One With Antics

(written for the December Event on the 30+ Fanfic discord server)

“Where’s Iggy?” Prompto asks when the next night Noctis shows up at the bar on his own. There’s a short-lived spark of curiosity in his eyes that wanes as soon as the side of his face is hit with an olive. 

Before long, Ignis’s absence is all but forgotten as Prompto embarks on his mission of aggravating Gladio which usually entails a tad too much violence and ends up with him on the losing side anyhow. It’s like every time they’re within reaching distance of each other, they resort to the same antics.

“Working late again,” Noctis says with a shrug that remains unnoticed by his otherwise engaged company. As he peels off his gloves and wiggles out of his shawl, he briefly wonders whether they’d notice if he were to turn around and leave. “We’re expecting a delegation from Tenebrae at the start of the year, and dad entrusted Ignis with the administrative duties. Besides, we aren’t joined at the hip, you know.”

The last part’s more to soothe his conscience that he even feels the need to point it out, but by that time Gladio is already choking the last of common sense out of Prompto while Prompto cries for royal amnesty. “Make him let go of me, Noct!”

“I’m afraid His Highness’s authority’s not unlimited,” Gladio tells him cheekily as he keeps strangling him. “That’s for elbowing me in the ribs earlier.”

Still trying to free himself out of the chokehold, Prompto whines, “you started it, you huge behemoth !”

That only results in Gladio starting to tickle him with his other hand. “And that’s for insulting me!”

Thereupon their private spot in the corner explodes with half-hearted protests and muffled giggles that blot out the typical din of a crowded place. Mentally shaking his head at them, Noctis chuckles as he squeezes himself into the booth. By force of habit, he glances to his right. The seat beside him that’s usually occupied by sharp lines, witty remarks and the trace of sandalwood he’s learned to pick out over the smell of smoke and alcohol suffusing every molecule of air feels painfully empty. 

There’s no one to share a pointed look with or a secret smile which slowly dies on Noctis’s lips.

When he turns his attention back to Gladio and Prompto, there’s a heaviness in his chest that Noctis is determined to ignore. It’s then he notices that they’re dressed in matching sweaters that look like someone has knitted them out of spite. “What the hell are you guys wearing?” He asks because he has to.

“Blondie’s Winter Solstice present,” Gladio says with a smile that feels too smug for someone wearing an epileptic’s nightmare. 

His arm around Prompto’s throat seems to have lost its purpose, now casually draped across Prompto’s chest in a sort of hug from behind which Prompto’s leaning into like coming home.

Eyebrows raised, Noctis tilts his head to give them a thorough once-over. “Huh.”

Gradually the antics start making more sense.
