I swear vivize must have failed her SVA character design class or something because why would else would Adam look SO much like a demon essentially when he’s supposed to be you know.. the first human man??? Like when the hell did he become an Angel-demon thing???? I don’t think God would do that to his first creation.

I mean they're very clearly trying to draw a connection between Adam and the demons, and I'm sure later on they'll explain more about why Adam is the way he is since that's a part of the core plot.

It's the same reason why the angel soldiers look so Evil. Why would God design his angel soldiers to look so intense and evil? Well it's not really all about that it's also just about portraying to the audience that this force is Bad.

But I agree that I dislike the design personally. Because again Adam is so cartoonishly evil and demonlike that it ruins the tone of heaven. I'm not intimidated by heaven because of Adam. I think Adam being the most Human looking character who's also actually a cunt (in a less in your face way) would be really effective for the moral dilemma they're trying to sell.
