Okay, let’s talk about episode 5 of X-Men ‘97 using Happy Nation.
Where the people understand and dream of perfect man
People being the mutant nation of Genosha, the dream of a perfect man referring to either Xavier or Magneto, more likely Xavier since he’s become a mutant martyr since his death.
Situation leading to sweet salvation
The situation being the bad situation of poor mutant treatment, sweet salvation being the island of Genosha and it’s safety.
For the people, for the good, for mankind brotherhood
Genosha has a council, for the people and the good of the people.
(We're traveling in time)
Obviously, not every line means something. But Cable does travel through time in this episode.
Ideas by man and only that will last
The ideas are the opposing view points of Magneto and Xavier and how their views of mutants align in Genosha.
And over time, we've learned from the past
Mutants have learned over and over that they can’t live in peace with humans, so they had to make Genosha.
That no man's fit to rule the world alone
Magneto only agrees to ‘rule’ Genosha if Rogue is his queen. This makes him an even more perfect leader; he knows he cannot do it alone.
A man will die, but not his ideas
Charles Xavier is dead, but his ideas live on with the X-Men.

There is nothing more cringe worthy than hearing a some random fucking incel say,
"I hope the new X-Men 97 series isn't too woke."
And that is why media literacy is important, so you don't end up like the dumbass, rightwing, Christofascist motherfuckers who sit at home thinking that the X-Men are fighting for them. But just for old times' sake here's a list of the most unsubtle leftwing metaphors in the X-Men movie franchise.
Heads up some of these jokes are in really poor taste🤣
He's coming for your guns
Have you tried not being a mutant?
