Exactly, Anon. Exactly. This is why the Ivy League Universities being turned into Hamasnik terrorist bases is so horrifying. Especially with Jew-hating students attacking Jewish students and professors on campus, with the Universities' sanction. The Universities could shut these Jew-hate riots down. The fact that they don't shows that they want them to continue. They're trying to chase away the Jewish students and professors from these schools. That's always the first step. That's what the Nazis did first, too.

This article is taken from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum website. I highly recommend that everyone read the whole article. But even if you read the first paragraph, you'll see the parallels to what is happening on Ivy League campuses today:

After Adolf Hitler was appointed German Chancellor in January 1933, the new Nazi government began an effort to completely reorder public and private life in Germany. 

The Nazi regime quickly targeted German universities—among the most elite in the world at the time—for restructuring according to Nazi principles. While the Nazi Ministry of Education initiated reforms, local Nazi organizations and student activists worked to bring Nazi ideals to German campuses. These forces, along with increasing antisemitism under Nazi rule, transformed everyday life at German universities. Throughout this period, students, faculty, and staff made individual decisions that both upheld and opposed Nazi ideology.

With the passage of the "Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service" in 1933, most Jewish professors in Germany were dismissed from their positions. Others, such as Professor Eugen Mittwoch, were able to keep their posts temporarily only due to the political value of their research. After purging Jewish and "politically undesirable" faculty, the regime then targeted the student body with the "Law Against Overcrowding in Schools and Universities." As German authorities continued to "Aryanize" German universities, Jews increasingly lost the opportunity to teach or study. Many non-Jewish Germans sought to benefit from their persecution. 

The daily business of university life continued in the wake of these new policies, but political concerns increasingly influenced the way professors and students worked and studied. The practice of denunciation, as demonstrated by the "Request for the Investigation of Professor Hans Peters," illustrates the danger posed to both students and faculty if they failed to follow new ideological norms. Those willing to voice support for the new regime—whether out of enthusiasm or practicality—often received promotions or other rewards. Meanwhile, many others quietly accepted the new policies and passively benefited from the persecution of their Jewish peers. Very few, such as the small student group in Munich known as the White Rose, took any significant action to resist the Nazi dictatorship.

The Nazi government and its supporters manipulated several aspects of the country's traditional university system to turn German higher education into a crucial source of support for the new regime. For example, the German student population had been largely male long before the Nazi rise to power, and German campuses were dominated by fraternities.  Those organizations maintained traditional military discipline and dress codes, and their alumni groups exercised significant political power both before and after 1933. Fraternities—often working with the Student Council and Nazi Student League—served  as a powerful and violent force for implementing Nazi principles at universities, often going beyond the party platform in their radicalism. A Report on the Camaraderie House for Female Students of Göttingen shows how Nazi student groups used the format of traditional student organizations to train both men and women to become the next generation of Nazi leaders.

Although the regime could rely on many committed student activists, the Third Reich also sought the support of German professors to lend legitimacy to their policies. Because German universities were state institutions, professors' academic careers became vulnerable to the whims and wishes of the Nazi state. While only a small minority of professors had been Nazi Party members before 1933, several prominent professors quickly voiced their support for the Third Reich. In the new German university, political loyalty was valued over academic ability in the assessment of students and in the selection and promotion of professors. Authorities infused university classrooms with Nazi ideology—as shown in the document, "Foundation of the Advanced School of the German Reich". But prioritizing politics over academics affected the quality of German higher education. 

Nevertheless, professors—even enthusiastic supporters of the new regime—often spoke out against some aspects of Nazi policy. The case of Eduard Kohlrausch shows how his opposition to  student-led book burnings caused his removal from the university administration. Dissent against individual policies, however, did not give rise to any concerted resistance movements. German universities as a whole formed a solid base of support for the Nazi regime, contributing valuable knowledge to the development of technology for the war effort as well as logistical support for the Holocaust.

The Nazification of universities overwhelmed the daily lives of students with new requirements, including mandatory lectures, physical exercises, labor duties, and political assemblies. Many students resented those requirements, even if they supported the Nazi Party. In Heidelberg, for example, where the daily life of students was dominated by political instruction and mandatory physical training, large numbers of students withdrew from the university in search of other educational opportunities. As illustrated in the "Memo Regarding Maria-Elisabeth Koch," students also showed varying degrees of enthusiasm for the labor service that was often required of them in territories occupied by Nazi Germany.

The Nazi government's project of remaking German universities was broadly successful, but it produced unintended consequences. The quality of education suffered significantly as classes were regularly cancelled for political assemblies and students' schedules became filled with ideological and paramilitary training. Moreover, purging Jewish faculty deprived German universities of valuable expertise. Within a few years, many observers in Germany and abroad became deeply skeptical about the quality of German higher education in the Third Reich. Propaganda efforts such as the Carl Schurz tour for American professors and students—documented with a slickly produced video—did not prevent protest. The 550th-anniversary celebration of Heidelberg University met with opposition in Europe, even while prominent American universities such as Harvard accepted invitations.

With the defeat of the Third Reich in 1945, Allied forces occupying Germany began a long-term effort to remove the influence of Nazi ideology in German society. Many German academics who made significant contributions to the Nazi war effort fled to the United States, where they lived comfortable lives and their expertise was highly valued by American universities and the US military. In postwar Germany, many faculty and students who had benefited from the Nazis' discriminatory policies without being especially vocal or enthusiastic supporters of the regime sought to cast their dissent or their silence as forms of political resistance to obscure their own complicity. Although many Germans denied having supported the Nazi regime, antisemitism persisted in postwar Germany. The case of Hermann Budzislawski shows the difficulties encountered by the relatively few German Jews who decided to return to Germany after World War II.

Sources in this collection document the choices facing students and faculty pursuing their everyday lives in the shadow of Nazism and the Holocaust. Over the course of this period, as antisemitic discrimination escalated to mass murder, the higher education system proved to be a source of support—rather than opposition—to the party's project of remaking German society.

The Apothecary (Severus Snape x Reader)

The air was thick with the smell of potion ingredients but what would you expect from ‘The Apothecary’. It was quiet though quieter than usual on a Sunday morning looking around she noticed that there were only three others in the store with her a woman and two men walking about their business overlooking all the fine ingredients and pondering whether the prices were a steal.

“Excuse me” she heard jumping out of the way of the slow and methodical voice towering behind her.

She turned to see who the voice belonged to and dropped her shoulders upon seeing the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry’s own potions master. She watched as he passed her to a table littered with ingredients eying them, carefully overlooking the choices, and plucking only the most suitable ones into the brown paper bag he held in his second hand.

This was not an abnormal occurrence. Not Severus browsing the shop but (Y/N) gazing at him in wonder, he was always so quiet only uttering the barest of comments or reply’s. Always looking away from anyone’s eyes and always in those stuffy black cloaks even when the sun was screaming for shorts and a polo but no Severus Snape would never bare himself to the scrutiny of Diagon Allys patrons. (Y/N) was not sure why she was so curious about the still relatively new potions professor, but she was.

Deciding she had had her fill of stalking the lonely man for the day (Y/N) turned to check out her items a paper bag holding one lowly dugbog tongue.

“Oh dear” was shouted by a loud feminine voice following a loud crash, bang looking behind (Y/N) saw a young wizard fallen to the ground fitting and seizing his face blank but stretched in pain (Y/N) looked to the space he had just occupied seeing an ajar bottle of Poison Ivy concentration. Running over to the man she ripped off her jacket folding it and placing it under the seizing wizards head and making quick work of removing his Slytherin tie and unbuttoning the dress shirt he wore before turning him on his side watching with intent eyes catching his every movement completely oblivious to the Potions professor who ran and settled himself behind the boy watching over him as a protective carer.

Looking above the boy’s face she finally noticed the man looking at him diligently timing how long the seizure had been going for and looking around the room for the intrusion on the poor boys health.

“He opened a bottle of Poison Ivy Concentration must have smelt it too much, can cause these sorts of reactions.” (Y/N)’s voice was just above a whisper. Scared she’d insult the professor’s intelligence with the words that spilt from her mouth. He didn’t reply at least not verbally but looked at her and nodded in appreciation or just to let her know she’d been heard she was unsure but was more focused on being so close to his face taking in all that she could see better now. His nose she already knew was hooked and his hair a deep black but on closer inspection his nose fitted his face and his hair was a rich black that covered him like a curtain closing him off from her and anyone else trying to close in on his emotions.

Slowly the young wizards fitting stopped and he slowed to deep breaths scared eyes observing his surroundings, noticing his professor he started trying to excuse any misdoings.

“Professor Snape I am so sorry I swear I… I was just trying to see what the smell was I…I didn’t know it would do that” Severus cut him off looking to him and (Y/N) “are you alright?” the boy looked surprised by Severus’ concern for his health “Yea sir I’m fine”.

“Are you sure? No nausea? Do you have a headache or feel any numbness or pins and needles anywhere?” (Y/N) intruded on the conversation between professor and student.

“Yes ma’am I swear I’m fine’ the boy continued as he rose slowly using the professors and (Y/N)’s arms for support ‘can I go now I swear I’m fine I just want to go back to my dorm now” the boy looked to the adults like a child in trouble not realising the worry they both held for him overruled any kind of punishment he thought they would usher unto him.

“Go to Madame Pomphrey for a check up and then straight to your dorm 10points from Slytherin for your lack of common sense I will send a letter to your parents later Booth” and with that the boy nodded to the two in understanding and running out to Hogwarts.

(Y/N) now standing checked her bag for her dugbog tongue and waved a goodbye to the shopkeeper before making her exit to find a suitable place to apparate. As she followed a corner towards an empty space she felt a presence follow her before a hand landed on her shoulder.

“You forgot this” Severus’ familiar voice drawled holding out her jacket she’d used to make a pillow for the young Mr Booth. Taking a deep breath at the sight of the familiar man she grabbed his offering and hung it over her forearm. Before deciding that if she were ever to talk to him again now would be the perfect time.

“thank you and you were very good with that student back there” (Y/N) looked at him. His eyes darting around, hair almost hiding them.

“He will be fine Booth is known for making mistakes this may finally be the push to grow up.” He readied to walk away. Before finishing the conversation “If you are worried about him Nurse (Y/N) please feel free to visit him” as his face turned and disappeared along with the rest of him around the corner.

(Y/N) stood in herself for a moment not only had she talked with Severus but he knew her not just her name but Her. She let out a small smile before disappearing herself leaving the alley empty without a trace of the experience.

Professor Sumac and her team has been working on that project for years and they're finally close to having the data they need to finish their- Fine. Fine, I'll try to find the funding somewhere else. I don't know where but I'll figure it out. Yes. Yes alright. Sure. Good day."

It's with a slam and a sigh that the video call is ended and echo begins recording, raising off the desk where her camera had been obscured. Amy doesn't even notice her at first, their face buried in their hands as they try to get a hold of themselves. She uses this moment to look around the room itself, panning from the windows from the city below to the chaotic wooden desk where Amy sits to the couch in the corner of the office with the blanket and pillow thrown carelessly over it. Add to that the small pile of clothes sat next to it where Cheddar and Cooper nap and the many many coffees in the trash next to the desk and it begins to paint a picture of what the last few days have been like... at least the last few days.

"Echo?" the exhausted voice of the professor startles the porygon, her camera swinging back around to the desk. "What are you doing?" They look even worse than before, it seems any sleep they may have been getting has been less than restful, their face looking tired even through the small smile they send that way.

Echo can't even get through her entire reminder before the videophone on the desk starts ringing, a gentle chiming sound that causes Amy to jump a little bit. "Fire Ice and Thunder I lost track of time. Thank you Echo." The Porygon herself chimes a little bit in happy acceptance of the gratitude, and moves over next to the professor as they tap the small pyramid that swings up revealing its screen.

The person on the screen is a woman with mid length plum hair and a lax, careless look on her face; a white labcoat around her shoulders as well as what looks like a small keystone on her necklace. This doesn't seem to be a surprise to Amy, who greets her politely as 'Professor Ivy' before looking over at Echo and giving a command before the video cuts.

"Echo. Stop."

After Viewing the Teaser Trailer for Space Jam: A New Legacy, I've been thinking about The Pokémon World Coronation Series (ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップス Pokémon World Championships) You know the anime-exclusive tournament. Ash is competing in, What if there was something about it that Non of us realise about. We know that It is a competition held to determine the strongest Trainer in the world. But we don't know who is hosting it and how it started, I would say Chairmen Rose or Charles Goodshow, But non of them are involved, And I doubt the Champions of Each Region came up with it, So I'm suspecting it's been Secretly set up for the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon Amusement, Or something else..... What if it's part of the Dissidia Contest of Champions, Made by Extremely Powerful beings (The Grand Master, The Collector and The Beyonders from the Marvel Universe) Setting up the Pokemon World Coronation to see which Strongest Trainer will be useful to go up against Other Champions within the Anime Multi-Verse, Who ever Wins gets the ultimate Prize, and the Losers become possessions of The Collector. So... with things becoming unpredictable, and Pretty Cure All Stars Gen 1 being captured by the Witch of Delays because of a Botched Rescue mission in the Grand Ocean, Yana Ketchum and Professor Cerise and Professor Ivy have Decided to one up the Ultra-Guardian concept for the Ultimate Wars, giving Ash and Goh's Dynamax Bands a Extreme Upgrade with Tech from not just from the Ministry of Science, But also the Aether Foundation, the Upgrades where inspired from Professor Bellis's Sync Pair Research, so Mega-Evolutions and Z-Moves can be performed, As well as summon up a very useful Built in Pokedex for Details, Tactical knowledge and Weakness location for any Combat scenario, The Bands can also form Official Ketchum Alliance Uniforms, not just for the Main members of the Ketchum Alliance, But Also for The Boys, The Truth Seekers and The Ultra-Guardians, (United they are the Ultimate Ketchum Alliance), Who Designed these Costumes, Non other then Hermione (Former Teacher of Paris from Diamond and Pearl Episode 86) She heard of the Heroic efforts Ash and his Friends did at Sukoyaka City and with Dawn and Cynthia having Special Contacts with Paris, Hermione agreed to come up with Costumes that will Represent the Ketchum Alliance in Future up-coming Battles using the Rarest and unique Materials, She's keeping a Trade secret. Here are Ash Ketchum (Leader) Goh (Ash's Apprentice) Chloe (Goh's Childhood friend), Conner "FireRed" Ketchum (The Clone of Red and Ash's Adopted brother) and Kris (Twin Cousin of Marina from the Jotho Region) While Ash and Goh are gonna have much importance, Chloe is gonna have some Active Roles in the Events of 2021 mainly tell them about Tropical-Rouge! PreCure, and the Reason Kris is there is because I may have started a Relationship Between Conner and Kris, You could say there Costumes are kinsa similar to Super-Sentai stuff like Kamen Rider, but without the helmets, and don't worry, These Costumes are not gonna over-shadow the Pokemon-PreCure aspects such as Ash being Cure Master, these will be for the More Advance Pokemon Battles.

Batfamily Introduction- Matt Reeves universe

So...this is how I'd go about assembling the Batfamily in Reeves verse. I have (at least the movies about Jason) completely developed in my brain, but well, writing the scripts is a whole other issue. I could, but 2k fics are too much for me at the moment, so I thought I'd share this with the world, free some space in my brain, so to speak. Praying that someone out there, that has the actual pull to make this happen, reads this and maybe uses it a little. Mainly about Jason, because my poor boy deserves better, and an live action portrayal that is accurate and true to character, instead of the constant angst trainreck that is his life in the comics, for some reason.

The more detailed an idea is, the more doubts I have about it, idk. Dick's is less developed since pretty much everyone is familiar with him, so I kinda skipped him, sorry. And Damian...well, I don't know enough about him to write him much more than he is, and tbh, I'd like to do something with him and Jon more than anything else.

Here it goes!!! (Also, I'm just a fan, so please don't hate on this, yeah? If you don't like it, move on.)

Batman: Gravity / Gravitas/ Gravitational Pull

(Dick's origin story as Robin movie, Zucco,  Selina helps, Ace shows up, Zucco almost dies but D!R decides not to, little scenes with Batgirl (?),etc)

      •Robin the first*: Dick's solo movie when he's older, establishing the Titans (Babs, Roy, Donna, Joey(?)), Deathstroke as antagonist(?). He ends the movie as Nightwing (?).

Batman: Mind Games

(Jason as Robin origin story, Jason steals the Batmobile tires, B sends him to a home. Mad Hatter/ Dollmaker is buying kids from Ma Gunn's and Jay helps B & Gordon realize this and to put a stop to it, B ends up kidnapped and Nightwing isn't answering Agent A and Batgirl is holed up in the precinct with Gordon; so Jay dresses up as Robin and goes to try and stop the freak. He trips the rogue with his marbles and knocks him out, waiting until Batgirl/Nightwing come to free the hostages from the tech, keeping the conscious kids calm. Dick is surprised about Jay but not a dick about it. Bruce offers to adopt Jay, and says it's not necessary to be Robin too, but Dick Is all "unless you want to, little wing! I'm gonna teach you all the *best* moves B is too old to do!" Sue me, I want one happy Batfamily, ok? Ok).

      •Robin the second*: Jason's solo movie, Kid Devil Pen pal, Kyle(?), Rose(?), Gar(?) or the Titans say he's too little?; Catwoman/Ivy/Nocturna as mentors/aunts? Heist movie. Professor Pig/Toymaker as antagonist? He ends up saving the Titans/Batman despite the doubts about him.

Batman: "A death in the family"/[?]

(Garzonas/child trafficking ring; they butt heads about 'procedure' and 'too much violence'; Barbara is paralyzed; Jay looks for Haywood, she sells him out to Joker, Jason dies. A few months later, B gets called to deal with Flashpoint and finds out Flash is the reason Jay died ("Allen, you killed my son? You killed my SON!" "I'm sorry- Bruce, I'm-" "Effective immediately, Allen's tenure in the Justice League is terminated. Central City will be relegated to Wallace, if he's ready to take on the name." "Bruce!" "If he can not use his powers responsibly, he can not be trusted with them. Unless you want me to give you an antidote." "...you don't have one." "Are you willing to try me?" post-credit scene. Jay's hand breaking the ground of his grave post-post credit scene)

Batman: [?]/Bane of the City

(Tim as Robin Origin story. Broken back, Dick as Batman for a little while, they defeat Bane, Bruce heals a little bit, Barbara remakes herself as Oracle and saves their asses at a crucial moment, etc. Jason is alive and with the LoA, baby!Damián? post-credit scene.)

    •Robin the third*: Tim's solo movie, he finds Connor and goes against Lex? + Cassie and Bart, of course. Steph is introduced at the end (iconic brick-in-the-face moment).

Batman: Under the Red Hood/[?]

(RH takes over the Alley in a couple of weeks; steals the kryptonite and ruins deals for Black Mask; kills the leutenants of the mobs and gains control over them, etc. ("B, this guys is not out of control." "Dick?" "I'd say this guy is completely in control. Look at these! He hasn't killed a single innocent. Every one of these men and woman have charges for murder, rape, abuse, child pornography or molestation, human trafficking... and all of them got away with it or got the minimal sentence or had the charges dropped or the witnesses killed. They weren't casualities, they were targeted." "It doesn't matter, he's still killing people." "Yeah, bad people! The worst society has to offer." "Dick..." "Bruce, we have bigger problems than a man that keeps the civilians out of things, the children protected and only takes his rage on the worst of humanity.") Jason still attacks Tim at TT, but only to keep him out of the final confrontation -broken wrist, ankle and bruised ribs- ("No more dead Robins" is written in Jason's blood on the wall). Jason as RH reveal; B accepts Jay killing Joker -he turns around and gives him permission- but the damn clown blows up the building before he can and scapes even after RH shoots him a few times. Jason collapses in Bruce's arms, sobbing, terrified. B asks Jay to comes home and he does, to a heartfelt reunion. Jason apologizes to Tim, giving him the R he cut off the Robin suit in the case instead of the one he took in the Tower. Damian's existence bomb drop post-credit scene. One big happy Batfamily, see?).

    •Robin the fourth*: Steph's solo movie. She starts the movie as Spoiler, ends the movie as Robin but dead. Steph tries to stop her dad, meets R!Tim, they fall in love somewhere in the middle. R!Tim wants her as part of the Titans, she refuses cuz her mom doesn't know about Spoiler and she wants to stay in Gotham due to Cluemaster. Jack Drake forces Tim to give up Robin (Steph finds out his identity due to him screaming threats to Bruce) and Bruce offers R to her a few days later, she agrees. Tim doesn't like ir, but Steph is Tim's only contact with the Batfam, so he's ok-ish with it. Cluemaster realizes his daughter is Spoiler/the new Robin and sells the info to Sionis, hoping he'll get him out of prison (he thinks Black Mask will use it to find out who Batman is, not torture her to death, but still). B&Steph butt heads, some "you're too much like Jason" comments/classism thrown her way (Jason is in the LoA trying to convince Talia to give up Damian to B, btw) She starts a war between two gangs to stop them destroying her block/neighborhood's business and homes. BM kidnaps her then, and tries to torture the info of Batman and Red Hood (his bitter enemy) out of her. She holds out until N&B&RH rescue her, but too late. She "dies" then ("was I a good Robin?" "you were a great Robin"). (Post-credit scene is her waking up gasping in a hospital bed, her window shows a Savanna.)

Batman: Blood Son/ Blood Feud

(Damian gets to Gotham to witness the end tail of the gang war after Steph's death. Tim is back in the Manor, back as Robin (he put on the suit to stop the war and BM; since Jack is in a coma he doesn't care anymore), working with B & N & RH to clean things up. R almost kills BM by beating him, so RH puts a blade to the guy's throat and says he will kill him if Tim says the word. Tim, in the end, says no. RH then cuts through BM's spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed. ("As a compromise" he grins savagely at Batman, winking.) Damian tries to off Tim the moment they meet, but Tim is very on edge and puts him down quickly and brutally ("You want to be Robin, remplace Steph, with *those* skills? Ha! Give me a break/Pathetic.") Dick tries to explain how fragile Tim is at the moment, while Jason & Alfred try to make them bond by cooking together, and B makes them solve cold cases together (it turns into a competition, of course, but since it ends with Tim spending less Time on the field, B doesn't stop it). Jack dies after an attack at the hospital by Cap Boomerang; after the funeral he goes out as RR, to get revenge. Zsasz gets him first, since RR is out of it. Damian -who was following him, not worried- ends up saving Tim after Zsasz kidnaps him on BM's orders, as payback. He stalls Zsasz until the others get there and cuts off one of his arms while trying not to kill him. (I wanna add Killer Croc here somehow, he's hired but Damián either convinces him to leave or beats him by drugging him or something). While Tim is recovering in the hospital/cave he passes the R to him. (''You'll do a good job." "Tt, of course I will." "Just...maybe get a less sharp weapon?" Watatsumi can manipulate any kind of water into a dewdrop and it can mold into anything she thinks about. This includes living beings. Side effects of using this UM are severe dehydration and fatigue.

Backstory :

Watatsumi Kiyomizu, born from a child’s first laugh, landed on top of a lily pad in the center of the flower. Right then, it began to rain. The first droplet of water hit the gentle dandelion and officially born was Watatsumi. She was found by a now fellow water fae who took care of her. The water fae has told Watatsumi that she may call her anything she wanted, to which the water fae became known as Nahla. Nahla taught Watatsumi everything she knows and more, from dewdrop collecting to dancing on glimmering rivers. Watatsumi wanted nothing more than to repay Nahla for all she has done.

It wasn’t until the day Nahla took in a younger water fae named Harbor that Watatsumi was blessed with the idea of being Harbor’s caretaker. Nahla works every night and still manages to care for Watatsumi, making Watatsumi promise to take care of Harbor until she leaves to attend school. And that’s what she did. Watatsumi even became a legal guardian of Harbor once they adopted her. That’s how she became so good with kids, her gentle nature making them feel safe around her. Getting accepted into Scepter Hall Institute was hard due to her not wanting to leave Harbor and Nahla, they insisted and made it known how proud they were of Watatsumi. Watatsumi is grateful everyday for Scepter Hall Institute for bringing her there.

Random Trivia!

Watatsumi’s very close with Meryl, always willing to amuse her silly little endeavors!

As Watatsumi loves designing her own clothes, she makes a bunch of things for her friends! They’re usually made of flowers(that feel comfortable to the touch and don’t overstimulate one’s senses!).

Her favorite professor is Ambrosia! She’s not just saying that because that’s her Dorm Head, she genuinely looks up to her! Ambrosia reminds her of Nahla in some ways.

Watatsumi seems to be popular with Magnijardin students despite the playful rivalry between their dorms! Many residents of the dorm ask Watatsumi to let them style her.

Watatsumi can be very bold with her words if the scenario arises.

When Watatsumi uses her wings, they tend to leave a small trail of droplets behind her.

No one has ever seen Watatsumi as serious as she is when the Four Realm Festival rolls around. She’s very serious about it.

Watatsumi used to be close friends with Porter Pierce before he was expelled, even trying to fight for his stay. They were usual partners for projects and assignments.

Watatsumi is one of the very rare people that can’t be brought down or affected by Mercury. Even if he denies it, They’re besties and shes gonna hang out with him!

She LOVES making visits to NRC. Even though SHI doesn’t have the best relationship with NRC, seeing Tinsley every once in a while is so worth it! and now Porter too!! She’s especially happy to meet other fae’s like her outside of SHI.

Speaking of which, She’s close friends with Tinsley Labelle from Night Raven College!

She picked up on singing while dancing one time, wanting to put lyrics to the sound of the waves. Her voice is soft and lovely! She’ll only sing to certain people though.

A far more extensive report, and the one that influenced Freud most powerfully, was that of the Italian neurologist Paolo Mantegazza, who practised as a doctor in Argentina and Paraguay in the 1850s and self-experimented with the local plant stimulants, guarana and coca. Unlike von Bibra, Mantegazza appreciated coca’s stimulant effects immediately and pursued them vigorously. ‘As soon as one chews one or two drachms’, he wrote in his 1859 monograph ‘On the Hygienic and Medical Values of Coca’,

the nervous excitement is always followed by movements that are exaggerated or violent, and always irregular; there is a general confusion of thoughts and muscular activity, while in the inebriety produced by coca it seems that the new strength gradually drenches one’s organism in every sense, as a sponge soaks itself with water. Thus the delight of the period consists almost completely in an increased consciousness of being alive.

Mantegazza found in coca not a productive stimulant for the sober self, but a radically altered state of consciousness. Unlike caffeine, higher doses brought not overstimulation but ever more pleasurable and remarkable effects. On his return to Italy he became a medical professor in Pavia, founded the Italian Anthropological Society and began work on a massive survey of inebriation and human nature, which ran to 1,200 pages when it was eventually published in 1871.

But cocaine had yet another quality: as well as an anti-depressant and an energy booster, it was a powerful euphoriant. Freud quoted Mantegazza’s claim that it produced a ‘state of greatly increased happiness’: during the peak of his coca intoxication he had scribbled, ‘God is unjust because he made man incapable of sustaining the effects of coca all life long. It’s the right day, but the year is all wrong, and Dream suspects that there’s something else not quite right even before he finds himself standing in front of the shuttered remains of the White Horse Tavern. Still, he’s chilled in a way he’s not accustomed to feeling, reminiscent of the hopeless, free-falling frost that climbed up his spine and inside his gut the day he was meant to meet Hob when he was imprisoned. And that’s what it is, he realizes, this cold feeling. Hopelessness.

Should Dream seek him out, would Hob welcome him as a friend, or turn his shoulder as he would on an intruder? It’s what he would deserve, Dream muses as he’s preparing to turn heel from the tavern’s closed gates, even though as he’s resigning himself to shame he’s also gearing up to make this his next mission, his next purpose: to find Hob Gadling.

Alternatively: Dream and Hob find each other in 2021, and see no reason why they have to wait centuries to see each other again. And again.

So this happened.

I apologize for my inactivity, school and work has been absolutely insane. I have been playing New Leaf every day though to get as much as I can before the servers shut down. Yes, this includes exchanging 100 visits with randos on Reddit for unlimited hacked Sanrio items. I decorated the bottom floor of my house, so I’ll post that later. I also started the Beautiful Town ordinance, because I am SICK of watering flowers.

I finished funding for both the Roost and the Dream Suite (with the help of friendly Redditors), so my main focus has been trying to visit others and get to 500 dreams. If you want me to visit, leave your Dream Address!

Things in my personal life are not going as well. My dog passed away yesterday at 6 years old. We have no idea what happened, but it seems as if he had severe organ failure. He was always very sick, even as a puppy, but this was very unusual and he declined very quickly. I don’t want to get into it, but this was the third major health scare in less than 9 months where we thought we’d have to put him down.

I am struggling to get things done because I am having POTS flare ups and I have been dealing with depression-related fatigue. I am trying to keep going, but it is hard. I am also dealing with a lot of stress because of my fiancée, because we might have to move in June so he can start grad school. He is stressing me out with financial talk and trying to convince me to enter a mortgage on a property I’ve never even seen in a city we’ve never been to. The FAFSA delay is screwing us because we don’t know how much in loans we’ll have to take out, so this affects which school he chooses to attend. I also don’t know what I’ll be doing until I can start my MA program. I may try to take Chinese or Vietnamese courses as a nonmetriculated student at the university my fiancée is going to, or I may be ambitious and try to do it at the Ivy League school nearby…

I recently won two awards for my thesis as well as my service to the department I belong to. I am dealing with major impostor syndrome because of this. I don’t feel like I deserve to win, and I even consulted my favorite professor to make sure that he didn’t influence the decision in any way because he is the department chair. I’m not sure if I want to even attend the ceremony because I am dealing with intense body image issues and if anybody tries to take a picture of me, I’ll go insane.

I will try to post occasional updates if I can. Animal Crossing is my main coping mechanism through everything going on. I have so many other games I want to play, but so little time.

I want to try the new Stardew Update, but I have such minimal progress in my main save file. I’m horrible with getting through the Skull Cavern mines, and it’s really holding me back. I haven’t played Stardew in a very long time, so I may just play from a completely different save file and start over.

Another game I’ve been playing more lately is Minecraft. I wouldn’t say it’s been a full-on intense Minecraft phase, but I started a new "Survival" world (I play on Peaceful until it’s not convenient for me - I have been playing for 12 years and beaten the game numerous times, I know what I’m doing!) and I’m trying to exit my comfort zone by building in biomes I would usually skip over.

Sorry for my inactivity, shit is rough right now. I don’t know what else to say. I deal with grief really weird for someone who is extremely mentally ill and emotionally unstable. I’m oddly fine. He died in such a traumatic state, so maybe it’s me knowing that he’s at peace now. I don’t know.

Also this has been me every morning sitting in my office at school high as FUCK listening to Strawberry Switchblade/Rose McDowall and getting absolutely nothing done. I have absolutely cooked my Spotify Wrapped and it’s not even April.
