Vah Narisha! elaborated on things and slightly polished it

(info written on there but for ease of reading writing it here again)

-its a prototype titan (divine beast) that crash landed on an island and was left there, its name is based on the big sky whale from skyward sword (its german name)

its very overgrown and half broken, with its tail hanging off the edge, but if you try to use the infusion power of links shiekah arm it will suddendly twitch and empty your entire energy meter immediately since it uses more power than you could provide on your own- serving as a hint that it can be reactivated

once its reactivated (zelda helps, perhaps with a quest attached) it will fly in circle patterns across the sky, you cannot control it (its still a half broken prototype after all) but you can use it as a place to rest and reach other islands that are very hard to reach otherwise

single parts will suddendly move and twitch or freeze as its ... a damaged prototype, its a slight hazard as the shaking can throw you off if you are standing in a bad spot (but not so much you cant reach it again), occasionally it will lose some parts

unlike the "modern" titans, who require the main energy network sourced from mainly ganondorf as their power source if there is no pilot/champion (thus stopped working after the intro), vah narisha draws energy from its surroundings, just like links arm does, so its still able to function even after gan wakes up; however the amount available is barely enough to keep it afloat and that only moving very slowly too- it is unclear if the reason for other malfunctions or unavaible controls is bc of lack of power or damage, probably being both, but after taking off there is no way to try and repair it further since you cant control it and it would pose a danger by falling if misshandled so its mostly left to its own devices

its not required for anything of the main story or to traverse the sky, but it is a cool thing and can make it easier to reach things, the idea for it is mainly from the unused prototype hanging in the hateno lab in botw since my goal is to make totk into botw 2 i thought its a neat idea to bring in previously scrapped ideas :3

I WILL GO ON A WHOLE RANT ABOUT SILVIO.

Yes, he's an asshole at first, but if you give his route a chance, you see underneath all that hard exterior and everything that led for him to act and be that way in the first place. He isn't actually like that at all inside!! He cares so much and so fucking deeply; someone who actually hates his brother wouldn't have looked for him non-stop for three years. Or have gotten him matching gold earrings that Rio and him both still wear!! They have a 'I hate your guts, but I'd do anything for you' relationship. They're brothers. He was abused by the king several times physically and literally tortured and the queen both mentally and physically fucked up his views on things. Rio's mother was the only one that showed him love and understanding and even tried protecting Rio and his mother. He had to provide for himself when he was a KID. He didn't even get to have a childhood! Their brother is a psychopath who tried killing Rio and putting the blame on Silvio which the king's dumb ass believed! Because he hates Silvio! And through his route, he goes through such character development. Even to the point he finally decides to open up and be vulnerable with MC. He knew from the beginning that she was Belle and yet, still protected her and went through extra tribulations just to protect her. He actually doesn't even care for the glitz and glam! He wears all the fancy shit he does because it shows his wealth and power to other people so nobody fucks with him! This boy has gone so long without physical touch and someone who actually wants to see good for him that he pushes any and everybody away, for their sake! He says the opposite of what he means! He uses excuses to make up for his actions. Yes, he blamed Rio a lot through his route and pinned it all on that he just wants to annoy and take everything away from him that's his but in truth, he was trying to portray himself as The Bad Guy to keep himself from acknowledging his true feelings for both MC and his brother.

I probably missed A LOT because I'm just writing this at once on my phone but PLEASE give this boy a chance. He just wants to be loved and doesn't fully understand how to even do that. Money is all he's ever known that's been consistent and has gotten him everything he's ever wanted and needed. Now, he meets a woman with a pure heart, he finds his brother again and all he wants to do is protect them, even if that means he fails.

Silvio's character, in my unbiased opinion, story is so good once you get down to the nitty gritty of the core of his character, the relationships he's been around, the role he's played for years, and finally coming to terms that it's okay to be vulnerable and be loved.

I respect any all who may not like him, but I hope this rant, my entire blog and speaking to me could help you at all to understand and possibly love this puppy as much as I do. I love you all. <3

Tony only has time to open his mouth before something heavy is being shoved over his eyes.

Everything is thrown into darkness. All of his senses are muddled, desaturated and flat like GGY felt. It feels like Tony is looking at a fogged up mirror. Theres a static and ambience ricocheting through his ears and he feels like hes being split in two.

Thinking about how Sand fits into the theme of ephemerality that's being discussed - how the entirety of episode 5 is centered around Sand's sentiment of 'everyone has the same 24 hours in a day - Ray is my 25th'. We're given a look into Sand's life - how he's constantly moving, constantly working, how Sand lives very differently compared to the others. The overarching theme with the other characters seems to be living without consequences, while Sand here is living with nothing but consequences. He's working to pay off his mother's debt, to fund his future, to keep himself financially stable - all things rooted in the idea of planning and eventual outcomes. All 24 hours of his day go into working and earning money.

However, the 'extra hour' he assigns to Ray has none of this. Instead, as we see in this episode's not-date, Ray Hour is all about spending money, about living without consequences (going to a performance, getting high and having sex on the balcony) - about living ephemerally. For Sand, Ray seems to function as a way to let go of control. The boundaries he sets are easily broken by Ray and his pout, and Sand gets swept up in whatever it is Ray is considering at the moment - which yet again links back to ephemerality and the permanence of these boundaries.

It's a very interesting role Sand has of being a contrast to the main friend group while also still embodying the big theme of ephemerality - and having that be because of Ray. Something is bound to give out, to crash and burn, because this isn't how Sand has been living.

Also, side note, out of the three main couple sandray is the only one that never brings up or incorporates photos (and there's been discussions of photography and permanence going around too).

idk if this controversial but i think some of u are being a lil too serious about nbc hannibal. IN THE SEnse that projecting and headcanoning onto characters has become some sort of a forbidden act in some places in the fandom bc since the characters are all so complex and often misinterperated, when someone makes a headcanon that doesnt exactly line up with how the show implies they should be interperated, people are quick to jump down their throat and tell them theyre stupid and dont understand media literacy or whatever. maybe some people underdstand the show fully well but want to take certain ideas in it and push them bc its relatable and fun for them!! yes the will graham twink apocolypse is stupid but someone writing a fanfic where hes softer and less insane and a good father for their own comfort isnt exactly the threat you think it is

Based on the facts that Artemis:

was able to perfectly portray the emotions regarding remembering and being sad about Julius and did so to try and ease the suffering of someone to whom he didn't really 'know' at the time

has canonically worked at a bake sale with his mother

undoubtedly knows the intricacies of each business his family owns and runs down to the specific requirements of the housekeeping staff at the hotel chain be bought out

I propose the idea that he would have a truly spectacular Customer Service Persona, which he detests with every fiber of his being but continues to use as needed because it makes everyone think he is a Nice Young Lad™ and keeps him in as many good graces as possible

I have SO many questions about the dialogue choices Larian made for the full release. in most cases the writing of some of these changed lines seem like a direct downgrade from what we had in EA. so many instances of previous conversations with companions turned into ambient dialogue. some parts just taken out completely (loyal as a pup and twice as pretty, my beloved </3 astarion's reaction to mayrina's fate, my dearest </3 eyes deep as the Darklake, my precious </3)

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The cut scene from The City of Tomorrow script, yeah, we've all seen it and screamed and cried about it being cut, but consider: it got cut because Spock has been calling Kirk "Jim" since at least the fourth aired episode. (If not earlier, given the different production dates from the air dates. Honestly, I am now wishing I kept note of any time Spock calls him Jim because it does seem out of character for who Spock is supposed to be--logic, order, no emotions, etc. Why would someone like that use a nickname in place of a ranking title? Or even a last name? Unless there was a reason for it--sick and delirious, inebriated, life-or-death situation, declaring their love for the other character, one of these things is not like the other)

(Yes, this moment lives in my brain. Rent free. Coming out parallel, love declaration if used in any other circumstance with any other characters, etc.)

Granted, Spock is under the influence of an inhibition-lowering virus (which. Huh. Without inhibitions, he'll call his Captain not by his full, proper first name--James--but by the nickname? Something designated for close friends and informal settings? VERY INTERESTING, MR. SPOCK. What's the logical explanation for that, Mr. Spock??) but he has continued to call Kirk "Jim" in other episodes after The Naked Time, without the excuse of a virus or extreme life-or-death situations as a reason. Maybe it's nitpicking (or extreme coping on my part lol), but if the lead-in to this scene was Spock calling Kirk "Jim" for the first time, then how do you put that emphasis there (and everything such an exchange would imply because wow that means Something, not just due to rank but who Spock is) when it has been done again and again--casually! With no specific circumstances to justify it!--throughout the whole season, you know? Especially when the Hayes Code was still in effect and any blatant suggestion of same-sex attraction, much less romance, was prohibited? (Because obviously, Spirk still got past the censors or fandom as we know it wouldn't exist.)

Lambda can't really wildly teleport all over the place (although he sure can look like it), he has to have a place to teleport to. And even then, he has to clearly visualize the place he wants to teleport to in his mind. Anything he can deem as a landmark to use as a grounding point does help a lot. Or having a picture of the place and focusing on that. However, even with that, it can be a struggle for him to go place to place.

Doesn't stop him from being a very effective killer though.

Places may be a bit hard for him to remember but people are not. Especially if it's someone he's chasing down. And since it's thought based (for the most part) teleportation, all he needs to do is think of the person he's going after and he'll be back on their trail in no time.
