yoko — a teenage mom trying to balance life, school, and taking care of her daughter. but with such supportive friends and family, it makes all the hardships worth it.

"you were never a mistake, enid. never." butting her forehead against the crying pup's, she continued with a sad smile. "if they can't see you for who you are, then who needs them?"

enid — yoko's equally teenage daughter who's trying to figure herself out, overcome her insecurities (wolfing out) and maybe find love along the way.

"i never know with you; sometimes you act as if i can't leave fast enough, but then you do something stupid and i'm the first one you call." blue eyes burning with frustrated tears, she clenched her fists, inadvertently piercing herself with her claws. "i'm getting tired of this hot and cold bullshit!"

divina — yoko's supportive girlfriend who didn't realize she was getting a 2-for-1 package. Awkward but loving, she attempts to learn more about enid while trying to overcome the wolf's jealousy. Though msterious in her own right, she might surprise you with how thoughtful she can be. But be warned, if you mess with her family (however unconventional they are) she will come after you.

"who did this to you?"

"look, it doesn't matter." enid promised, brushing off the other girl's helping hands. "we can just pretend this never happened."

"absolutely fucking not," the siren uttered strongly. "what the hell happened?"

"nothing-"

"don't give me that bull!" narrowing her eyes, divina continued speaking. "it was tyler wasn't it? god, when i get my hands on him i'm going to tear him apart!"

And lastly, wednesday — cold to all but very few, this girl does not like to be caught unaware. she's not afraid to say what she's thinking, however soul-crushing it can be, and even looks forward to the fallout the usually occurs afterwards. and though she ignores social niceties, she does try with those who manage to sneak their way past her fortified walls.

"here," wednesday said, abruptly thrusting the plushie onto the sleepy wolf's chest

"whoa!" startled into a scramble, enid unconsciously clutched the object to her chest. "what's this?"

"is this not the toy you were crying about earlier?" she questioned, watching as the other girl lit up when she realized what was in her hands.

"i mean, yeah," giving a brief hug to the dragon, the blonde gave her roommate a confused look. "but they were sold out? how did you get one?"

"five-finger discount," wednesday stated nonchalantly, uncaring of the girl's squawk of horror

i’m definitely reading too much into this because of my scp foundation brainrot, but fuck the fact that reverse 1999’s main faction is called the (saint pavlov’s) foundation is driving me insane. the name even starts with the letters ‘s’ and ‘p’??? it’s just missing a ‘c’ and it could literally be abbreviated as “the scp foundation” it almost feels like it was specifically designed to cater to me

also look at this logo on medicine pocket’s id badge. double circles. three points. three arrows. tell me it isn’t at least a little similar to the logo below. you could’ve told me it was some sort of variant on the scp foundation insignia and i would’ve EASILY believed you without question.

i really don’t have a point to all this. i don’t think a single person who sees this will even know what the hell i’m talking about, i just really needed to get this out of my system.

guys, i have a super important question for those of you who have read Gideon the Ninth. feel free to read the analysis or add your own before voting. or don’t vote at all, i don’t know how many of you like minds besties have ever even heard of TLT but i’d still be interested to hear your thoughts.

here are my thoughts.

the lyctor, the cav. the jack, the spade.

the cav (spade) dies for the lyctor (the jack) so that they may obtain “god-given” power and become one for eternity.

objectively, the answer is obvious, but here’s the thing.

nigel himself is more likely to be a necromancer, he is obsessed with all things dead and only he understands the true purpose of their union and leads alex on the journey, almost blindly. much like harrow and gideon. nigel also just seems more like harrow because of the weird kid vibes. nigel wanted eternity, alex didn’t really seem to care as much. harrow needed to become lyctor and gideon was just there for the ride (in my humble opinion)

nigel is anti-social and prefers to do everything alone whereas alex is more about collaboration (e. being friends with josh and raj and suggesting that they to help him bring nigel to the train that night rather than doing it alone)

alex specifically; just has his father lost his mother at a young age, on the other hand nigel’s family affairs are troubled with guilt, betrayal and even suicide at the end of the film (in nigel’s case) similar to harrow and her parents. more importantly, of the two, nigel is more likely to have a crush on a chilly weirdo in a coffin. (we’re not here to talk about susan because i don’t believe in the concept of any being known as “susan”)
