When I first read this when I was twelve I thought that this line was an edgy way of saying I love you .

I was not a smart kid.

Having grown up a bit and rewatched and reread FT a few times it has come to my understanding that Gray Fullbuster is suicidal .

I genuinely do not know how I missed that since he literally tried to use iced shell every season finale but no matter .

The fact that Gray is suicidal and he just said she is my power/will to live hits so fucking hard .

Because it basically means Juvia makes him want to live and if she wasn't there- well I don't even want to think about that 😭😭😭.

Ma boi has spent the whole series feeling he wasn't worthy of living and has been carrying guilt for a fucking decade .

And then this blue haired girlie pops up and relentlessly attacks this man with love and affection and hugs and food, trying to drill into his thick skull that he deserves everything in the world .

And he's finally accepted it .

Accepted that he deserves to be alive .

With his guild.

With his friends .

With Juvia .

He has finally stopped blaming himself for Ur's and Ultear's death and is finally making sure to live his life to the fullest for them .

He has finally accepted he deserves to be happy.

And I love that for him.

And I love him .

What Gruvia anti's don't seem to get about the ship is that plenty of people who like Gruvia have their own qualms and criticisms in regards to the execution. I, for one, became much more fond of the ship through fandom. In any case, the idea of them has poignancy and value.

I often read that Juvia has become weak since being at Fairy Tail, but I disagree. I'm not saying this because she's my favorite character, but because I like to analyze the behavior of the various characters, especially the ones I love.

Juvia has not become weak and Mashima has shown us against Meredy and against Keyes and yes, I would like to see her fight again like then and see a power up.

However, she is not weak, love for Gray has not made her weak, it has made her different, yes.

Think about it, Juvia a Phantom Lord was an S-class mage,she was feared and maybe even ruthless, she was a warrior!

She still has immense power within her, this cannot be denied.

I simply believe that his priorities have changed. Before she could not afford love, friendship, there was no space for those feelings, there was no one who approached her and she did not let anyone close.

Juvia has always been powerful and José wanted her to become more and more powerful, convincing her that the only thing she needed was to be strong.

I often think of how despite her career she had everything, she was a successful and famous sorceress, they knew her at the Tower of Heaven, she was powerful and feared, but she was lonely and sad, unhappy and depressed.

She had Gajeel yes, and I like to think that in their own way the Element Four were also a support for her, but we know, happiness does not come from others, but from ourselves.

Juvia was unhappy with the rain. Once the rain stopped ,she had a chance to be happy.

I often wonder what would have happened if it hadn't been Gray but someone else who defeated her, but then I think they were always meant to be.

I'm not very good at writing analysis, but I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

P: S: Juvia didn't work hard enough against Erza in Tenrou, otherwise she would have had enough chance of winning, it must be admitted.
