【VIDEO】 Concerning Father H. Zemo & Sergeant J. B. Barnes (1943)

Did someone say priest kink?

This is an idea I've had for a winterbaron WWII Priest AU for a while, but I wasn't honestly sure what I was going to do.

The clips sort of built the story as I went, creating their own narrative with how I was limited by the available snippets. Also on AO3: ( x )

Basic story after the cut

Zemo, the new chaplain, arrives for the 107th Infantry Regiment.

He also does some medic duties, which was normal for them in WW2.

Bucky is like "Huh, he's unexpectedly young and hot".

They bond a little.

Zemo has SOME LUSTFUL THOUGHTS about him. He fantasizes constantly but dismisses it.

He resists, but one day Bucky is injured and brought to the field hospital.

Bucky is like "Am... am I dying? Are you here to do the last rites? Man, I'm not even Catholic".

And Zemo is like, "No, I'm here to take care of you."

and Bucky's like "TAKE CARE OF ME, HUH?"

Anyways, they fuck in the medical tent that night.

They begin an on-again, off-again secret relationship where Zemo is CONSTANTLY breaking it off, out of religious guilt.

Bucky usually agrees it's for the best because they don't want to get a Section 8 blue discharge (what happened to LGBTQ+ people in the army at that time) but he's also very angsty about it every time.

They both keep giving in, always come back for more.

They fool around in fields near missions, in the showers after everyone's left, while all the others are downstairs in the bar.

Anywhere they can get the time and privacy.

Finally at one point, Zemo REALLY ends it.

He's certain he's sinning far too much, and his soul will be damned, and he'll also damn Bucky's soul as well.

Zemo actually asks for a transfer to another unit, and breaks it off. Bucky is heartbroken again.

There's an attack after Zemo leaves, and Bucky believes Zemo died, and spirals.

Zemo is actually fine, and staying with another unit, and taking the time to pray and repent in the church nearby, but he's in agony.

He misses Bucky.

Bucky finds out Zemo lived. He takes off from his assignment, against orders, and travels to the church where Zemo's unit is staying.

Zemo didn't even realize Bucky thought he was dead, and is taken aback by him showing up. He had assumed that Bucky would simply get over him, and it was better this way. Bucky actually showing up throws a wrench into his own plans to move on.

Bucky gives him an emotional speech about how much he loves him. He tells Zemo not to worry about his immortal soul, but if he's so concerned, maybe he can scold him privately.

Zemo can't resist his words, and they make love in a confession booth.

Zemo gets up that night, and wanders through the church to sit alone.

Bucky gets up to confront him.

He gives Zemo a speech about how if he doesn't want God to see what he is, he can stifle that part of himself, but he'll always regret it.

THE END

(in my mind, they run away together, and the war ends and they live happily ever after)

October 28th - Son of Satan

Daimon Hellstrom is the child of a human mother, named Victoria Wingate, and an extra-dimensional being who had taken the name Satan. This Satan had disguised himself as a human so to bore hybrid children that he believed could be used as conduits to help him conquer the earthly realm. Victoria came to discover the truth about her husband and it drove her mad, leading her to be institutionalized in an asylum. Daimon and his younger sister, Satana, were each placed in separate orphanages, growing up with little knowledge of their parentage.

As a young adult, Daimon entered a Catholic monastery, studying to become a priest. He excelled at the monastery and was set to be ordained when he received notice that he had inherited a mansion from his father. Upon inspection of the house, Daimon discovered a portal in the basement that led to a hell-like dimension where his father, the dreaded Six-Fingered Hand, ruled over a horde of monstrous slaves.

The Six Fingered Hand offered his son a place at his side. Diamon had been imbued with the ‘Darksoule,’ a portion of Satan’s essence that bestows tremendous super natural powers. As such, Daimon was tasked with conquering the earth and ruling it as his father’s lieutenant. Yet Daimon refused. He stole his father’s trident and led a rebellion amongst his slaves. The Six Fingered Hand was defeated, but he would rise again to further bedevil his son. After returning to earth, Daimon used his powers to defend the realm against demonic evil. Herein he came to be known as The Son of Satan.

After fighting alongside The Ghost Rider and Dr. Strange, Daimon was invited to become a member of the Defenders. Daimon would later lose his powers and became a private investigator specializing in the occult. Thereafter he regained his power and fully deposed his father, seizing control over the hell-like dimension. The power corrupted Daimon, causing him to become evil. More recently, he has acted as a member of Helmet Zemo’s newest iteration of The Masters of Evil.

A version of the character featured in the Hulu television series, Hellstrom, portrayed by actor Tom Austen. The Son of Satan first appeared in Ghost Rider Vol. 2 #1 (1973).

Late at night, there are whispers trailing through the halls, voices calling for him. "Helmut." A childlike giggle and sounds of tiny footsteps running down the hall. Curtains move but there is no breeze, only the ghosts of those who once resided there.

"I will call a fucking priest, don't tempt me," Zemo muttered, feeling like there were fingers crawling down his spine as he moved into the kitchen to acquire salt, garlic, and anything else he could use to ward off ghosts. He wasn't having any of this. He hated this. He had his own ghosts without this shit.

Fuck he hated All Hallows' Eve.

Tenebrous - Loki (AU) - Epilogue

Epilogue

One and a Half Year Later.

Nia squeals in anticipation. Loki and Bucky stand from their seats the loudest hoots and cheers from their seats.

Stephen Strange is all smiles as he reads out Y/N’s name. Emery holds up her degree beaming brightly at their friend.

Y/N walks across the stage, heart full of happiness and love, finally completing her degree. The thick folder graces her hands. Happy tears as her fingers trace the university’s embossed logo.

She meets them all outside, her parents travelling for the ceremony. They are all smiles and full of brimming pride. Some relationships still stung but she no longer focused upon the hurt. Instead she chose to move ahead, onto the brighter people who flooded love and light into her life.

The bonds tug at her, she turns away from her parents. Loki and Bucky dressed in suits walking towards her holding a bouquet of flowers each. Nia takes the degree from her hands, recording the video as her best friend runs towards her mates.

Loki and Bucky hold onto her as she hugs the both of them, “I did it!” She cheers, laughing.

“You did it, love.” Loki kisses her cheek.

“We’re so proud of you.” Bucky kisses her other cheek.

They embrace for a while longer before they part but not too far, always close enough.

“Flowers for our little graduate.” They beam at her, basking in the happiness that resonates through their own chests.

“Thank you.” She kisses their cheeks.

Bucky frowns, “What no real kisses?” He pouts, making her roll her eyes.

“Such demanding professors.” She shakes her head but stands on her tiptoes to kiss Bucky and then Loki.

Bucky cups her cheek, his rings cool against her jaw, “Wasn’t that hard was it, Poetess?”

“You’re an insatiable vampire, Warlock.” Loki murmurs, making the two laugh.

“I hope you all will attend dinner.” Emery reminds as they make their way through the crowd. Their coven members nod. It was a small coven but was their family.

“On our way there.” Loki assures, heading to where Y/N’s parents stood with Bucky to guide them to the dinner venue.

Nia waits back with Y/N.

“I’m happy you made it back for graduation.” Y/N loops her arm through Nia’s. The vampire smiles at her best friend.

“I wouldn’t miss it.”

“How are you doing?”

“Today is about you.” Nia reminds.

“Yes, then I demand to know about my best friend.” Y/N argues.

Nia shakes her head, “Ditched the alcohol, had meaningless hookups, trekked up the highest mountains, deep dived the deepest oceans, travelled alone and with acquaintances. However, my cloud bed is the most comfortable.”

“You miss sleeping the most don’t you?” Y/N chuckles, Nia groans longingly.

“So much but now I’m back permanently. How are you coping with the longer stay in Romania?” Nia changes the subject.

“I’m excited, we went there during Christmas, Bucky is eager to begin restoration on the house.” Y/N smiles, “I’m happy, he can help the place heal.”

“So he’s a high priest now?”

“Well technically, Moonmy–,”

“The moon who is also your mom.” Nia adds with a laugh.

“Yes so when the transfer occurred, Moonmy intervened right? We presume Bucky is now part Celestial since he did retain his magick as a vampire. He has a recruit too, the star tattoo apparently is a guide to this new coven. The recruit also lost his coven to Alexander. Bucky thinks he’s probably going to get more members who are from lost covens.” Y/N explains, Nia nods.

The entire discovery of Bucky being a High Priest worried them, but with the retention of his powers and his own drive to want to make things easier for other witches and warlocks cemented the fact that he is fit for the role.

The intention to honour his own lost coven, by rebuilding the ruined home in Romania was one of the first few steps in the process of setting forth the path of the type of High Priest he wanted to be for the coven.

Bucky gazes across the great hall, easily finding his mate in conversation with Nia. Loki hands him a paper cup with the switched out drink.

“Professor.” Loki teases, Bucky shakes his head and takes a sip.

“Is this ever going to get old?” Bucky muses, making Loki chuckle.

“You’re the youngest person to be recruited in the History Department’s history. It will always amuse me.”

“Though I do have a smidge of regret not being able to hold the position for longer, given our upcoming move.” He sighs, looking down at the drink and then across the hall.

Loki observes Bucky looking at Y/N.

“She is happy about the decision, excited even.” Loki assures his mate.

“I know I can feel it, sometimes I worry however if it will serve as a reminder of what she could not have despite being a witch.” The warlock-vampire traces the rim of the glass.

“James, if by some miracle she could have a kind High Priest as you she would have loved her powers and felt more connected to her heritage. I know you would have made her feel accepted and safe.” Loki’s lips brush over his temple.

Bucky nods, “I would have made her feel as safe and accepted and loved as she needs.”

The two watch as Y/N makes her way over to them, her plate stacked with the small sandwiches she enjoyed and chatting animatedly with Nia about their post graduation trip to explore Europe before heading to Romania.

“Maybe I’ll come with you guys to Romania, to help out.” Nia suggests at the end of the night as they are walking into the house.

Loki and Bucky walk behind them conversing about the furniture shipments and when they will be arriving at the Romanian Coven House.

“You could, yes.” Y/N smiles, “It will be fun!”

The door opens before they ring it and Nia pauses midstep, a soft tickle on her forearm moves upwards as though a spider climbing up her skin. A soft wisp of a web string.

Nia looks up from her forearms to the man standing at the door.

His brown eyes accentuated by his glasses, hair floppily messed up. He smiles at her and then his lips part when their gazes lock.

“H-how?” Nia questions, Y/N only smiles recognising the emotions playing across both their features.

“A gift from Moonmy.” Bucky explains as they head inside.

“Peter, this is Nia, Nia this is Peter. He’s from New York City.” Y/N introduces.

“Your favourite city.” Peter vocalises her thoughts.

“Yes…” Nia looks at Loki.

“You deserve to be happy Nia.” Bucky says holding his hand out to Y/N, “The patio is very cosy this time of night.”

Y/N takes her mate’s hand and enters the home, the three of them allow the young warlock and vampire to have moments alone.

Peter blushes, scratching the back of his neck, his rings gleam in the soft light.

“Do all warlocks wear rings?” Nia walks closer.

“It is part of our aesthetic.” Peter chuckles.

“Cute.”

“You’re cute.”

Peter raises a brow, “Cute? I can change that.”

“Change what?”

“Your thoughts that they're cute.”

“How so?” Nia raises a brow.

Peter smirks, “The way you want to change my thinking that you are cute.”

Nia rolls her eyes, but leads him towards the patio.

Three and A Half Years Later

Y/N opens her eyes, her mates are near. She can tell from their amplified scents alone. Sitting up, her gaze falls to her hands. There is a small crescent on her right wrist. Her eyes move to Bucky; he stands at the door with Loki.

He holds up his wrist, his mark now missing but placed onto her.

“Baby vampire and baby witch.” Loki explains, handing her the bottle of blood. She drinks it eagerly, the snow outside picks up. Then more till her hunger satiates, the bonds thrum stronger.

The house withstands the storm better after the renovation. Bucky admires the mark on her wrist, he would give her initiation she deserves, the patience, the care. He would do everything for her and they have all the time to hone her skills.

Her eyes move to the ottoman, the small pillow on it, her gaze narrows. Urging for it to levitate, it does.

“I get a do over?” Her focus breaks and her mates move to her, smiling as they cup her cheek and run their fingers through her hair.

“You’re going to get the initiation you deserve, Poetess.” Bucky assures.

“Also having vampire sex with a High Priest is very scandalous.” Loki playfully adds, Y/N giggles as Bucky rolls his eyes.

“You enjoy every moment.”

“True, I do.”

“So what would you like to do first, Witchling?” Loki gestures to the door.

“The two of you?” Her eyes grow dark and the red rims surround her irises.

Her two mates follow suit, to the first night of forever.

Why does everyone simp for Zemo?? Like ignoring the moral stuff (because as we’ve seen, that doesn’t matter to me *cough* osmund priest *cough*) he looks like he’d give me unsolicited cooking advice in the soup aisle at Wegmans. He’s probably done paleo unironically and owns 7 of the same black turtleneck that he could have gotten from Walmart but insisted on getting from a designer brand. He wears that jacket and looks like an eccentric High School Spanish substitute and y’all are THIRSTY??? He thought the best, least creepy course of action to approach some traumatized children was to sing at them?

A bullet hole in his chest, they said. Through and through, they said, no lasting damage. Yet for three days Helmut Zemo lay unconscious. Shot during revitalized demonstrations against the Tsar. For three days worry hung in the air more thickly than the thickest rain cloud. For three days no fears could be quelled.

While her husband had been unconscious those three days, Anastasia was raising hell. She wanted to know the names of the guards he had been with, doctors were called almost immediately, if any of the protesters had been identified. All the while, her father and family were trying to keep her calm. Her mother would have her sit and pray, and do nothing. Her father had placed a hand on her shoulder and reminded her of her duty.

But now she was sitting beside Helmut, gripping onto his hand tightly as she knelt next to the bed and cried softly. Duty be damned. "Please don't leave me," she whispered softly against the back of his hand, kissing it gently. "I need you, I love you." Her chest felt tight, like she couldn't breathe. The fear he wouldn't wake up, that he'd be gone, had tormented her for those three days to the point where she hadn't slept.

She could hear the doctors whispering at the door with the priests and her father, her anger starting to get the better of her then. "Get the hell out if you can't do anything useful!" she snapped through her tears, face red. Nicholas stared at his daughter, but not in surprise. He quietly ushered the doctors and priest from the room as she finally broke, crumbling as if a dam had been broken.

There is a simple answer and there is a detailed answer. I felt I had to share this so you know more about me!

I used to have these brain rots for actors who all have dark hair and dark eyes.

Daniel Gillies - Elijah Mikkelson

Andrew Scott - Moriarty/The (Hot) Priest

Andrew Garfield - Peter Parker

Ben Barnes - Billy Russo/Aleksander Morozova | The Darkling

So it's either dark, handsome men who could kill me. Or absolute boyfriend energy.

I tend to kin similar characters like Stede Bonnet (Rhys Dharby - Our Flag Means Death)

And Aziraphale (Michael Sheen - Good Omens).

Michael Sheen is and always will be of my favourite character/actor. I went through most of his filmography all through 2019. I adore him so much and his characters gave massive brainrot.

Andrew Garfield is also an actor I love and admire. The brianrot for his Peter Parker will never die. I am in love with all Spider-men. I have a shelf dedicated just to all versions of that character.

But right now, I'm currently in a massive brainrot for Boyd Holbrook characters. Specifically Clement Mansell

And also Klaber.

All of Boyd's characters (and I mean all) have a special place in my heart.

But I've also been missing Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle. Hes always in my mind and heart. I'm in love with Frank. It's not a brainrot, it's a lifestyle.

PHASE 2

2015: Laurie goes for drinks with Kevin and discovers very little about him, despite her questions. Amanda provides hangover treatment for the junk food partiers. Rogue texts Clint to let him know they should probably relocate to someone’s room. Operation: Wonderwall: Felicia, standing in as the receptionist, forwards a call to Wanda from Simon Williams; Wanda asks Marie-Ange to come with her to the bail hearing and Marie-Ange lets the team know; Marie-Ange and Wanda attend Williams’ bail hearing and spot a familiar face - the Enchantress; a small team gathers at the safehouse where Wanda and Marie-Ange have taken Williams, but their debriefing is interrupted by Baron Zemo. World on Fire: In response to a lead from his X-Corps contacts, Angelo takes Scott and Angelica to Columbia to rescue a newly-manifested young teen floating in an active volcano. Artie has lunch with Haller and they talk about fathers.

2016: Maya posts a link to a video from the DNC. Jubilee texts a picture to Doug, Marie-Ange, Domino, and Amanda.

2017:

2018: Sins of the Father: A message is left on the mansion answering machine giving Topaz’s location along with a warning; Doug makes an all teams post minus Gen-X inquiring what to do about the message; Team Magic - Clea, Stephen, and Illyana - plus Ty take out the demon guards and the warding around the Destines hideout; Doug and Wanda take on Grace and her blood magic while Domino and Marie-Ange tackle Adam; Marie-Ange and Domino are both seriously injured, but Adam is forced to flee when Marie-Ange stabs him in the eye; Wanda and Doug defeat Grace, but she overloads on magic and explodes, her blood contaminating Wanda's powers and infecting Doug with anemia; Team Magic finds Topaz, and to say she’s not in good shape is an understatement; Ty returns to a very bloody scene, and four very beat up people, and teleports them home.

2019: Fear in the Dark: Charles emails Tandy about the conditions SHIELD has insisted on for her to remain at the mansion, for her own protection. Case File: Take Me to Church: Alex, Hope, and Arthur have staked out the Church of Humanity and notice there are a lot of people going in but no-one leaving and Hope discovers their missing girl is being held prisoner; a rescue is launched, but both the girl and her mother are killed by a gunshot; while searching the office of the priest in charge, Hope and Alex find evidence that he has been involved in the torture and murder of mutants, including the two Mutant Underground workers who were lynched two years ago; Alex lets the rest of X-Factor know the mission didn’t go well; Quentin receives the news of the pictures found and alerts Sooraya.

2020:

2021: Following the prior day's events, Jean texts Terry to update her on her condition. Jean makes a notice of her out of office condition.

2022:
