Prayer to Aphrodite Kleidoukhos (she who holds the keys)
Hear my call oh keeper of secrets,
Oh my Aphrodite Fair.
I harken to your knowledge oh Keeper of Keys,
May you guide me through the best doors.
My I always hear your keys jangle,
As they open me to my best path.
Oh Aphrodite Kleidoukhos,
Please open the way.
I wish for a life filled with love and laughter,
Please open the way Aphrodite Kleidoukhos.
I long for a life filled with wealth and opportunities,
Always flowing into my life ever more like your oceans waves.
I linger for your blessings of love and hope,
Oh Aphrodite Kleidoukhos please unlock these doors.
Please lead my way to greatness,
A life filled with peace and prosperity.
Oh Aphrodite Kleidoukhos,
Oh Aphrodite Fair.
I pray to you my goddess,
The queen of pathways clear.

Dear God, we thank You,
For blessings, old and new.
Forgive us when we stray,
Guide us on Your way.
We pray for all the world,
Where chaos is unfurled.
May hearts find peace and rest,
In Your love, we are blessed.
We pray for those in pain,
In their loss, let hope remain.
May the sick find strength and cheer,
In Your love, we hold dear.
We pray for children small,
May they rise when they fall.
Guide them in their youthful days,
In Your love, we sing Your praise.
We pray for all Your creatures,
And nature's many features.
Bless the farmers in their fields,
In Your love, the earth yields.
We pray for those in need,
May their thirst and hunger recede.
Bless the honest, kind, and true,
In Your love, we turn to You.
Every day can be like Christmas,
Filled with love, joy, and bliss.
Protect our loved ones, near and far,
In Your love, we find our star.
This is our prayer, sincere and true,
In Your love, we trust in You.

oh, Lord. I never really felt the impact of your words to Peter but now that I’ve been where you are it is a winding punch to the gut and I double over, double back. “you will deny me three times before the cock crows” you said and if I was you I would have sobbed and taken Peter to a tree and strung him up to it.
Peter. in a night you will abandon me thrice. how could anyone bear that kind of torture? you were my rock which I laid my hands upon and you declared that you would leave me never with eyes bright and full of love that would not stand the test. Lord how did you sacrifice yourself for the sins of a disciple who would not follow you even to stay awake for a single night. how could you have stood there and given him the warning of the ways he would rend you asunder and not fallen.
and I know now, Lord, my tears overflow and bathe my heart, that every unrepentant sin of mine is like saying “I do not know you” to the face of the one I love. the Bible has always been the greatest love story and it is I who have been blind all this time, walking steeped in grey and not turning from the darkness you hate so.

prayer for my abusers
I do not wish you harm i wish
you clarity i wish you distance
i wish you days weeks months
of thought i wish you the doubt you gave me
the doubt you wrapped in a box and tied
with a bow and placed
in my hands with a smile
i do not wish you consequences (i know
there will be none) i wish you introspection
i wish you wishing there were consequences
may you have no leverage no tools
when you wish to beat someone
may you have feathers not sticks
may you find your words blunted
your swords flaccid may you find
no peace in your satisfaction may you
see my face when you close your eyes
may i never see yours again
may you know exactly what you did
may you never hurt anyone ever again

A Mighty Hand
A mighty hand reached to the earth
and fingered fractured soil so fine
that particles of dust, no worth,
trickled like lonely sands of time.
Tears trickled through a curtain torn
showering grace as before the fall.
With tiny steps, the world reborn
trumpets in harmonious call.
New life springs forth with joyful cry
in clear and confidant voices.
As one all speak to beautify

A PRAYER TO KNOW GOD'S LOVE IN MY TRIALS
A Daily Prayer For July 7
Dear God and Father, thank you.
I thank You because You love,
No one is worthy of it
But You love because of You.
When the dark troubles touch me
Give me a vision of Christ,
And keep my focus on him-
Not on what decays with time.
Your love has designed each task
Your grace is enough for me.
When I face trials and tests;
Then I look to the empty tomb,
And know my Victor lives on.
Let Your Spirit guide me
May Your Word direct my thoughts.
May I bring glory to You
In all my actions and words.
Thank you for reading my prayer poem. I have more on my blog- https://adronspoems.blogspot.com/2014/06/gods-love-in-my-trials-prayer-for-july-7.html

— a prayer, tathève simonyan
[text ID: a prayer / i look up at God and see my ceiling staring back at me. / whimpered prayers leaving through the gates of my lips, ricocheting and landing right onto my eyes. / now everything i see is tainted with the colors of my pending longings. / a desire so raw you could still see the specks of blood gathering at seams. / a prayer … / a man on his knees in front of a woman, hands on her hips, holding the cathedral that was neither built nor can be destroyed / lips kissing the source of life / lips kissing the source of light / lips kissing / a prayer! – a body to crawl into! (to grow into?) / a prayer! – a dead language we refuse to let go of, / a language of the dead that we refuse to let go of / a prayer! – Grandpa’s favorite tie, hanging from the bedroom door, decades after he passed / because my Grandma was the only one of us who knew what a prayer was / a prayer! – Grandma: “sitting with someone until they finish their meal is the purest sign of love” / a prayer! – i’ll sit with you till the very last sip, till the very last grain / a prayer! – a hymn to the Sun written by the coldest of hands / a prayer! – a mouth full of tongues that can never find the right language to weep in / Rage, that is love – rotten! / Rage, that is desire – rotten! / Rage! – like a prayer, unanswered, ricocheting from your ceiling and landing right onto your eyes, never quite reaching where it was meant to.]
