Clone wars AU where the chips never got activated. In the aftermath of Palpatine’s death, the troopers are so horrified by the thought of Order 66 that they go hole up in Kamino. The Jedi let them do it for a few weeks while they’re unfortunately too busy cleaning up the mess, but then they just,,,,, camp outside their front door. For months. The clones will not outstubborn them this time, no sir. They brought umbrellas, food, books, and lots and lots of tea. So much tea. Soon they’re having little mini festival days waiting for the clones to come out already. It is very confusing for the vode.

On one hand, order 66. Chips. Horror. Their life is even more of a lie, they don't want to hurt the jedi, they're ashamed of essentially being a Trojan horse to the Jedi.

On the other hand, apparently the jedi are all idiots who camp out in the ever pouring rain and are they building a mini temple on our front porch??????

husbando and i have lived in this apartment complex for 10 years (2 years in an 'old' model, and then 8 in a renovated one), and i've liked it a lot, hence the being here for 10 years, but we are way overdue for a change

between having the place flooded back in early 2020 when the hot water tank in the unit above ours burst to having awful neighbors who let their dog piss on their porch, we've been very over it for a couple of years now

especially since we were basically trapped in here for a year and a half during the worst of the pandemic

not to mention the rent has reached ridiculous levels

we really wanted to move last year, but the timing just totally sucked so we had to put it off until this year. our lease ends in november, which is actually kind of nice because it'll be the off-season, but i am finding myself constantly daydreaming about having a new place to live

there are a few very viable options in terms of price, space, and location that i keep visiting the websites for and i'm hoping sososososo hard at least one of them will be an option still in a few months

#one of the places i've been eyeing has THREE porches and i want it so bad #could make one for gardening and just chilling #and another an outdoor art studio of sorts #and it's bigger but cheaper than our current place #gimmegimmegimme #t: wench.txt
