its so funny to me omegaverse is so unserious and yet the most awe inspiring fanfiction has been written for it. the concept is so horny and silly and yet the way authors will use it to tackle serious topics like gender roles in society and love and acceptance. would love nothing more than to sit a normal person down and have them read an abo fic without telling them its an abo fic and see them tear up and then reveal they just got emotional over a trope that has people leaking cotton candy slick out of their assholes and see how they deal with that truth.

HIYA its been a while oomfie. I wanted to ask if I can ask questions that vaguely allude to XC3 -- nothing that hits your blacklist but like. Questions about say Ruby and what you think her class would hypothetically be in XC3 type thing

Hello, friend!! It has been a bit, but it’s nice to hear from you!! I hope that you’re doing well at the moment, and also, thank you for sending this!

It really means a lot to me that you want to know more about Ruby!!! I’d be happy to take questions about her, it’ll be a good way of developing her more. You can ask whatever you specifically want to ask, whether it’s about Ruby or anything else - I just can’t guarantee I’ll be able to answer in very much specific detail or in a way that’s very game story-compliant. But, I’ll still absolutely try and give it a go!! I do feel like I have at least a decent grasp on some of the XC3 characters, as a result of hearing people - largely you, actually! - talking about them online here and there, but I still have little-to-no experience of gameplay, either from playing my own copy or from watching footage online (since I have not done either of these things). I know someone did some really good blade and driver guides for XC2, so if they’ve done the same thing for the XC3 characters, that will hopefully be a good resource.

Regarding your hypothetical question about class, the one thing I can tell you is that Ruby would be an attacker class, because this both matches her parents (Pyra and Sapphire) and would fit in well with her friends from XC2 (Ursula and Poppi, who are a healer and rank respectively). ..That’s definitely all I have so far because I’ve only just decided on it, but I’ll definitely try and think about it more/am happy to talk it through with you if you want to know more!!

im actually mad about poppy playtime again they put all this effort into making an authentic feeling vintage commercial for the doll, complete w an intro from the inventor dude bc presumably what the player is watching is something that was sent directly to tv stations for consideration, and then the actual doll just. doesn't look like anything that would have been sold in that time period at all.

she looks like a blythe doll that's been forced into porcelain baby doll clothes. she SHOULD look like betsy wetsy or patti play pal, aka more realistically proportioned and life-like. it'd even make her "creepier" too since this is ostensibly meant to be baby's first horror game

#ofc the reason is to sell her to gen alpha kids so she has to match modern doll aesthetics #except they havent actually made poppy herself in toy form yet despite being the most important character so i dint fucking know
