1885 mansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania looks like it has a Rapunzel tower attached, doesn’t it? $3.950M
You will notice that the current owner of this home loves orange.
I notice that a lot historic houses use orange and it seems to suit them. I prefer it to gray, beige, and white.
The entrance hall is just so grand. What a beautiful staircase.
Enter the beautiful sitting room. The wainscoting is unique- I’ve never a design like that.
Nice, tasteful kitchen modernization.
A white marble fireplace in the dining room.
The powder room is stunning.
I didn’t expect an elevator.
Well, I guess an elevator would be a help with this many floors.
This office looks so “official.”
Oh, wow, look at the main bd. It matches the office.
Walk-in closet.
Lovely en suite.
Skylight in the top floor ceiling. Very nice.
Quite a large room. This home has 6 bds. and 10 baths.
What a great pool room/library.
The home even has a rooftop deck.
The private garden.
What a great home. (Notice that the garden area is on top of a large garage.)

I've been avoiding making my own post because I've been doing poorly after everything, but I did want to let everyone know that we let Nisha go on sunday night. She was about 16 years old, and she's been my baby for 8 years. She was comfortable and happy. Between me and emery and our friends that tagged along to say goodbye, she got so much attention which she loved more than anything.
When my mom died last year i kept making jokes about how i would cry a lot more when nisha passed and yeah. Yeah.
On a lot of levels its a relief, she had been declining for a while and we had been seeing steadily increasing signs that she wasn't comfortable any longer. It still sucks, and we miss her.
Strange as it is, her remains are being processed with a taxidermist right now so I can get her bones. I know that my friends are unlikely to judge me on the weird asshole website lol but I just want a piece of her that I can hold. It will feel less like she's gone.
Anyways, heres a selection of Nisha because it feels right for this kind of post:
