On notes and other thoughts
Trigger Warning: This content contains discussions of sexual assault, which may be distressing for some readers. Please take care of yourself and seek support if needed. If you feel uncomfortable, it's okay to stop reading.
As I wait here for my partner to finish her therapy session, I want to delve into the topic of still liking a character despite allegations against the actor/actress playing the role. My girlfriend and I hope that this discussion can help others who may be struggling with similar conflicts.
Before we dive into this topic, I want to provide some context. One night, my girlfriend stumbled upon a show featuring a character named Xavier Thorpe. As an artist herself, she felt a strong connection to the character and used art as a means to cope with the challenges in her life. However, when allegations emerged against the actor who played Xavier, my girlfriend's beliefs were challenged.
It's important to note that my girlfriend is a survivor of sexual assault, and supporting the alleged victims felt like the only moral choice. However, even with this knowledge, she found it difficult to hate the character of Xavier. This caused her to feel guilty and question her own values.
In today's world, celebrities and public figures are constantly under scrutiny, and accusations ranging from minor misdemeanors to serious criminal offenses are common. When such accusations are made against an actor who portrays a beloved character, fans may struggle to reconcile their love for the character with their feelings towards the actor. However, it is possible to still like a character even if the actor who portrays them is accused of something.
First and foremost, it's important to remember that the character and the actor are two distinct entities. The character is a creation of the writers, and the actor is merely bringing that character to life. The actor's personal life and actions do not necessarily reflect the character's traits or beliefs. For instance, Xavier Thorpe's personality, beliefs, and background were created by the writers, and the actor merely portrayed those traits on screen. Therefore, the person who played the character isn't Xavier, just as Xavier isn't the person who played him.
It is possible to appreciate the character for who they are without condoning the actor's behavior. The character and the actor bring joy and entertainment to people's lives, and it's possible to separate the two and enjoy the character without necessarily supporting the actor's personal life. One can appreciate the skill and talent that the actor brings to the role while disapproving of their personal behavior.
The issue with approaching this sort of situation is that we often view it through a binary lens, where things are either black or white, good or bad. However, the truth is that there exists a broad spectrum of shades of gray, a vast continuum between what is considered good and bad. It is perfectly acceptable to remain impartial, to refrain from blindly accepting everything we read on the internet.
Additionally, it is crucial to acknowledge that accusations do not necessarily equate to guilt. Often, the media and the public are too eager to pass judgment based on sensational headlines, without allowing for all the facts to surface. It is crucial to hold off on making a verdict until thorough investigations have been conducted and the truth has been ascertained.
In recent times, individuals have been subjected to condemnation for their past mistakes, regardless of their efforts to express remorse and make reparations. The cancel culture has created a climate where forgiveness, personal growth, and redemption are increasingly difficult to achieve.
In conclusion, while it can be challenging to reconcile one's love for a character with an actor's accusations, it is possible to separate the two and appreciate the character for who they are. By reserving judgment, recognizing the impact of cancel culture, and acknowledging the joy that the character brings, we can continue to enjoy and appreciate fictional worlds and their characters. At the end of the day, one's love for a character should not be diminished by an actor's actions.
Finally, I want to emphasize that it is perfectly normal to grieve and experience deep emotions during difficult times. If you are struggling, I encourage you to seek support from trusted individuals such as friends, family members, or even professionals who can help you process your emotions.
It is also important to look out for those around you. If you know someone who may be going through a challenging period, simply being present and listening to them can be incredibly helpful. They may not feel comfortable reaching out for help or may not want to burden others with their struggles. Therefore, extending a helping hand and showing that you care can make all the difference.
Lastly, I would like to address the issue of people leaving unpleasant comments on the works of creators who continue to publish content related to a certain individual. To those who have chosen to condemn this person, I urge you to refrain from harassing those who still wish to appreciate their character. Cease from spreading hateful messages on their creations and allow them to enjoy what they like. It’s important to remember that harassing those who still appreciate the character is not productive or respectful. As it is likely that they are already aware of the allegations if they are a part of the fandom, and they may not care about your opinion on the matter.
Please do not insult or belittle others simply because they do not share your viewpoint. If you do not enjoy the content, then it is best to refrain from consuming it and move on. Respect their right to enjoy what they like and do not interfere with their choices. We should all strive to treat each other with kindness and respect, even if we disagree.

I still don't understand how those people who would report your account and crucify u for drawing a lewd of a minor character (16-17) are the same ones who write you an 18+ fanfic of that same character, read it or ask for it. I don't really care abt this things, but you know that written +18 is still a pornographic product and u are the same shit, right?

Against The Progressive Veneer’s.
Feminism doesn’t exist.
The Female, is just this.
a Shell, the natural,
if Feminism existed, Then Females wouldn’t constantly present
themselves as simply Shell,
scant is the woman who presents her Sex & Need for it,
without showcasing herself as Shell,
Thus Proving feminism is a myth,
because if it was real, then they would see, all presentations of the shell
defeat the purpose of essentially saying the female exists or has a soul,
Queens/Priestesses, are the only Females who have Souls,
everything they present, is through creativity,
they never present their bodies/shells
they present their Super-Naturalness
Sex to them with them, is never publicly displayed
its Mysterious in This Soul Possessing Female.
All The Females within The world, only present illusion,
trans genderism is the height of decay,
in that it is simply about “super illusion”
We Are Living In Decay,
We Are Living In The unnatural thinking we belong in this very common
“modernity”
when what we are is
The Super Natural,

I'm gonna be fucking rude bc I'm fucking tired of ppl, so tw or whatever the fuck
OK SO, I truly hoped I didn't need to make a post like this, but people need to SHUT THE FUCK UP ON THE INTERNET.
I'm tired. If your goal is to be mean, don't go into the internet.
If your goal is to annoy people, don't go into the internet.
If you can't do a fucking mediocre job at a reading comprehension, DON'T GO INTO THE INTERNET.
I posted a funny video on TikTok some time ago, it was about my dad chating and gossipping with my friends while smoking, so nothing bad right? Nobody would think to comment something mean below that video right? I mean, it's just fun, people aren't that dumb right?
WRONG, FUCKING WRONG JESUS CHRIST
I've had people commenting on my dad's look. My dad, a 54yo medic who (along with other things) spends every day, oh, I don't know, SAVING LIVES???? that's not the point, ANYWAY: my father has a Hernia in his lower abdomen, that means his belly is VERY pronounced, like, he looks really fat (DON'T FUCKING COME AT ME FOR USING THE FAT WORD BECAUSE THAT'S NOT THE POINT AND Y'ALL KNOW IT), and people commented on that, saying that we were promoting a unhealty lifestyle, that it was not fit for being posted on social media, that he should go to the gym and shit.
now, babes, I think a moncellular bacteria could predict what I am about to say, and an ameba would have understood that these comments were useless, but still:
1- We don't give one (1) fuck about what u think.
2-If you don't wanna see that content, just fucking scroll.
3-Get a fucking life that's not so miserable that you feel the need to comment hurtful things under other people's videos just so you can feel a sparkle of power in your truly sad life.
I am fucking tired of people who do not know how to behave on the internet.
If you are a pathetic excuse of a man whose only joy comes from saying anonymous things on the internet againist strangers because you feel worthless and emasculated, then you should take you head out your ass, unplug you internet, read a book and start working a bit on yourself.
Hate is damaging, it impacts on your hormones productions, it creates more bile and that busies your liver, who can't substain that stress, overworks itslef and develop a tumor. You are killing yourselves by hating (And making my oncologyt dad richer, you fucking dicks)
ps: I offer grammar lessons for middle school kids, in case someone doesn't understans the meaning of this post and is going to hate in the comments

At court, what appear to modern eyes to be scientific disputes were seen by participant and spectator alike in these different terms. They would be triggered and structured by Galileo's patron for purposes of diversion and the expression of status. He was expected to produce entertaining and involving debates, and to challenge other court philosophers of sufficient rank. -- Adrian Johns, The Nature of the Book Plus ça change ... Mardun-Farrukh's Critique of the Abrahamic Faiths
The 9th-century Iranian philosopher Mardan-Farrukh criticized the monotheistic religions of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, focusing on their creation stories and theodicies. He believed that the belief in an all-powerful deity who created the world and the evil within it was illogical and criticized the texts of each religion for supporting this belief. Mardan-Farrukh was especially critical of the type of monotheism practiced by Islam, which he believed was responsible for the pressure on the Zoroastrian community in Iran. He believed that the Zoroastrians were being ground down into a small, deprived, and harassed minority, lacking all privileges or consideration.
Mardan-Farrukh found fault with the Jewish texts in particular, challenging the creation story of the Bible. He questioned why the delay of six days was necessary if Jehovah only needed to command, stating that the existence of that delay was ill-seeming. Mardan-Farrukh also noted that Jehovah made Adam and Eve and therefore made their inclinations. He criticized Jehovah's will and command as inconsistent and unadapted, and thus believed that the Biblical god was an opponent and adversary to his own will.
Mardan-Farrukh believed that the curse of Jehovah on Adam affected everyone and reached unlawfully over people of every kind at various periods. In contrast, the Zoroastrian God, Ohrmazd, was seen as a wise being whose actions were wholly just and accessible to reason. Mardan-Farrukh did not spare Christianity in his criticisms, noting that his unfavorable remarks on the type of monotheism held by Judaism and Islam would apply to Christianity as well. During the prior Sasanid era, there was often heated polemics between Zoroastrian priests and prelates of the rival faith of Christianity.
Mardan-Farrukh believed that humans had little knowledge and little wisdom but still did not let noxious creatures in among their own young ones. He questioned why the merciful sacred being would allow demons into the world, especially since there were no opponents or adversaries. He also questioned why Jehovah did not fortify the garden where he placed Adam to prevent Satan from getting in.
In conclusion, Mardan-Farrukh's criticisms of Abrahamic monotheism were focused on the illogical nature of the belief in an all-powerful deity who created the world and the evil within it. He believed that the texts of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity supported this belief and were thus flawed. He also questioned the stories of creation and theodicy found in these texts, stating that they were inconsistent and unadapted. Mardan-Farrukh's criticisms of the type of monotheism practiced by Islam were especially harsh due to the pressure on the Zoroastrian community in Iran. He believed that this community was being ground down into a small, deprived, and harassed minority, lacking all privileges or consideration.

PROFILES IN ARROGANCE Strange how the “dumb” is all one-sided. “One of the funniest people in America brilliantly examines the intellectual deterioration of American politics, from Ronald Reagan to Dan Quayle, from George W. Bush to Sarah Palin, to its apotheosis in Donald J. Trump.” One of the funniest people in America? Andy Borowitz? I don’t even know who he is. No wonder. He writes for The New Yorker, one of the dullest and smarmiest magazines on the planet.

OM: Longoria responds to the Tudor, Veretout and Dieng controversies – Interview
By putting Igor Tudor at the head of OM, we understood that you wanted to completely change your style of play. We go from a rather patient possession game to a very vertical transition game as you said . The question is non-judgmental, anyway the season hasn’t even started. But haven’t you been too ambitious in relation to the context, knowing that there is the Champions League, you have to be…

"""I'm shadow-banned because EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS keep reporting my ~blasphemous memes~, pwease reblog so I can get some notes and exposure? 🥺""" If you were shadow-banned, I wouldn't be exposed to your insufferable little pictures every time I go through the "Christianity" and "Religion" tags, and I certainly wouldn't have seen this post. Have you considered that your content just sucks?

It was nothing that the local EMS and fire departments couldn't handle. What rankled them was that they were providing their services for free. The deal negotiated by Amazon and the state had freed the company from paying local property taxes - the taxes that paid for the functions of local government, from schools to the police and fire departments - for fifteen years. The warehouses were in Licking and Franklin Counties, but they weren't really of them. They put many hundreds of cars and trucks onto local roads every day, and they put out emergency calls, but Amazon paid for neither snow plows nor ambulances. The basic social compact applied to others but not to them; in 2017, voters in the area served by West Licking Fire Station 3 would be asked to approve a 5-year, 6.5 million property tax levy to keep the fire department going. They would be making up what the company withheld.

Beyond The Progressive Veneer
I am skeptical and hostile even to the “female”
the more and more I think of what the female is,
I find it to be a complete and utter sham,
in terms of expecting “social revolution” or “personal salvation”
The Female as the clouds clear, reveals itself to just be
a job taker,
a permanent object to fuck,
which is why it always takes a job, meanders around culture,
thinks that language is going to somehow benefit
the collective,
I am furthermore skeptical of its token witchcraft inclinations
its meandering use of tarot cards,
its predication with LGBT,
as those things are just ways to obfuscate real identity
which is lost in the essence of reactionary society
which is why the female contents itself to meander around
tarot cards and LGBT,
There’s This sense in contemporary society
that the female is the path towards salvation and identity
that identity can only be had by the being of female,
yet
no one ever wants to challenge what this means
or how it plays out in real life,
no one wants to challenge the female because everyone seeks to fuck
the female,
however, then, this widespread decadence and decay,
remains aloof, and not investigated.

*holds you tightly by the shoulders until you're bleeding* haha funny joke about pharma's chainsaw hands. but you understand that pharma is actually a really tragic character? you understand that he did not work with the DJD willingly and was forced to harvest organs for them under the threat of the entire delphi outpost getting destroyed if he didnt? you understand that while his "crazy doctor DJD" reputation in the fandom can be funny he actually suffered a lot and it only makes sense he ended up cracking under the pressure and the venomous scrutiny from the people he once called his comrades? you understand that his life was literally just a horrible mess of incredibly unlucky coincidences made worse by his bad decisions, which he was making out of fear and self-preservation instinct? you understand how deeply fucked up ratchet stealing his hands and adaptus possessing his body really was and how extremely damaged he must have been? can anyone hear me? are you going to let me out of here now? i swear i wont lick the electrical outlets again.
