Sloppy concept for an alternate design for the Dialga in legends Arceus. Pokemon has not been doing too well in terms of designs recently. So i wanted to try my hand at it. The upper torso has slots for arms to come out of. And was intended to come with a lance weapon. Did not have the time to finish Palkia.

I was designing an object character when my friend said it looks like a pokemon.... so I made this quick thing:

A ghostly spirit stuck in a light bulb...... and then kaboom. List of design inspirations: Black light, X-ray skeletons, Ghost possessing an object, light bulbs exploding, light bulb without the bulb, dradon(duh), Ghosts, Phantoms, spooky stuff, Neon light..... That's all I think, feel free to game balance or give movesets/abilities/suggestions etc to these funks.

Following up on last week's Fakemon Friday, we have the first pass on the fire starters for my Colorado-inspired region! They're based on horned lizards and wildfire scars. The final evolution is Fire/Ground and has the hidden ability Toxic Heal, meaning it's immune to Burn, Paralysis and Poison. It also has a signature move, Mudslide, a special Ground move that hits both targets in doubles and has a chance to lower the opponent's speed.

These designs are early gen core to the max, which I love, but as a starter it probably needs a bit more refinement so that its inspirations aren't so obvious and that it flows better with the other two. Still, I'm quite happy with this design. Gens 1/2 had some real chonky, monstrous boys that we don't get in the same way these days, and this line is a homage to that.

Seu nome foi batizado pelos praticantes de capoeira na época por causa do seu estilo de luta, servindo de inspiração para as calças brancas com cordas, que lembram a sua plumagem.

I'ts name was given by capoeira practitioners because of the pokemon's fighting style, being an inspiration to the usage of white pants with ropes, which resembles it's plumage).

i was inspired by ginjaninjaowo's concept swap of eevee and pikachu so i wanted to design fire-, water-, and grass-type pikachus!!!

PICHU: EVOLUTION POKEMON - NORMAL-TYPE after being exposed to the vast world, pichu began to diverge from its electric-type origins and instead adapt to new environments. its cheeks no longer store electricity, and it instead stores nutrients there. PYROCHU: FIRE MOUSE POKEMON - FIRE-TYPE pyrochu evolves after a pichu is given a fire stone. this pokemon's cheeks store heat and are the source of its fiery attacks. when emotionally charged, the fur on pyrochu's cheeks spikes up to resemble burning flames. POICHU: WATER MOUSE POKEMON - WATER-TYPE poichu evolves after a pichu is given a water stone. poichu has adapted to live in water, and it can swim just as naturally as a fish. its cheeks can detect and regulate water temperature, which is helpful for its attacks. PETALCHU: GRASS MOUSE POKEMON - GRASS-TYPE petalchu evolves after a pichu is given a leaf stone. its cheeks produce a sweet aroma that attracts admirers, and it loves to bathe in sunlight.

#im gonna put them on their own canvases and write a little abt their design insp and ideas #i had a lot of ideas but decided to go with the ones i felt worked strongest. although id love to go back to the ones that #didnt make the cut and see if i can rework them.. its a little hard to remember things that correspond to valentines day...!!!! #i wanted to do wedding dress gardevoir.. pearl necklace onix... romantic candle chandelure... heart balloon drifloon.... #cherubird was supposed to be delibird but i found it hard to work around the santa theme without making it hard to recognize #so i decided to make it a new pokemon (fakemon?) entirely ^_^ based on seraphim doves and love letters #klefki is based on the pont de arcs bridge in france known for its lovelocks!! it collects charms like halves of best friend necklaces #lockets and lost wedding rings.. sawsbuck is based on tree carvings with lovers names and sakura branches #roserade is based on flower bouquets. i like how its design came out!! the body is supposed to look like a waistcoat #lopunny based on playboy bunnies. the fur on its wrists is supposed to resemble the cuffs. torso has the one piece suit #and their legs have the thigh high stockings. frogadier is based on romantic bubble baths with flower petals #tangela is based on curly old telephone wires that you twirl between your fingers when calling your lover kicking your feet in the air #decidueye has to be my fav though with the cupid theme. also used barn owls bc of the heart shaped face #i cant wait to finish these!!!! i can see these going on my portfolio for sure #my art #myart #pokemon #pokemon design #valentines day #wip #doodles
