Rose/Pigella as a warrior/Warlord and her pokemon team.
Last piece of the year and the first one in a new series: ML x Pokemon Conquest!

|DO NOT REPOST MY WORK|
More info:
Every Pokemon here was picked either because of their pokedex entry or one of their moves in particular, based on the holders interests, hobbies, personality, history, etc. I wanted a team that made sense narratively and aesthetically (for the curious ones her main is Hattrem. I'm very aware of the irony.)
Feel free to share what your picks would have been for her but keep in mind that I'm NOT taking suggestions for the other holders.
I desperately needed something fun to work on and this hit me while watching a friend play the game. I intend to draw all of the kid holders (yes, both bees). Have a lovely end of the year and see you in 2024! Happy holidays!

Some games that are currently stuck on older consoles that I hope get rereleased in some way, Part 5:
Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 6
Pandora's Tower
The Last Story
Unchained Blades
Deadpool(putting this here as a technicality since it got removed from digital platforms for licensing reasons)
Liberation Maiden
Jeanne d'Arc
Drakengard series
Shadow of Destiny(Shadow of Memories)
Ray Gigant
Michigan: Report from Hell
The older Deception Series games
Disaster Report Series before 4
Breath of Fire Series
Xblaze 1 and 2
Blinx 1 and 2
Pokemon Conquest
Higurashi Daybreak(hopefully a newer version would preferably based on Higurashi Daybreak Portable Mega Edition, maybe add even more characters to it)
Whiplash
Godhand
Under the Skin
Scaler
Dragon Quest IX
Namco x Capcom
Project X Zone 1 and 2
Time and Eternity(I know it's kind of divisive, but I liked it's style. Battles in Ray Gigant have a similar look, though not the same feel.)
Mega Man X Command Mission
Yakuza: Dead Souls
Yakuza: Kenzan
Albert Odyssey
Twilight Syndrome series/Moonlight Syndrome

I wish they’d bring back more Pokémon spin-off games
Not necessarily the idea of reviving old spin-off series (although also yes, please do that), but as in just doing them in general
Conquest, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, I really like those games. And while I’ve never played Colosseum or Gale of Darkness (I’ve never had a GameCube, as well as the fact that they were just before my time), those games have always fascinated me too. They were fun ways to expand the series and I think we need more of them
Like, we’ve barely gotten any in recent years, at least that I can remember, that being the new Snap game, the new Mystery Dungeon game, and Legends Arceus (and I guess Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee? I’m not sure where that falls since it’s sort of in the middle, at least to me)
On some level, I get it, Switch games probably take a lot longer to make than DS games, and considering they now have a rule of “new Gen every 3 years”, they’re probably going to spend that time more on mainline games. Especially considering those probably have better sales numbers than spinoffs
But still, I’d like to see them come back more

The character/environment design of Pokemon Conquest implies that pokeballs were modeled off some other cultural symbol. Motonari (I think) mentions balls for containing pokemon being recently invented in a distant land, and the warriors in the game don't use pokeballs. Yet pokeballs are seen all over in architecture and clothing patterns. This implies that pokeballs were designed to look like a certain cultural symbol. I imagine this is the equivalent of if pokeballs were crucifix shaped.
