You're telling me that pokemon box's adventure mode wont work when using the game with Nintendont allllll because of a stinky little memory chunk that gets written to a slightly different place when its running on the wii?
Well that really grinds my Klingklang

✨Pokemon Generation 3 Living Dex! ✨
I completed this months ago but I'm very excited to show you my completed Living Dex of every Pokemon in Generation 3! One of the hardest achievements I've ever done, so many eggs to hatch, grinding up levels with the VS Seeker, and lots of trading between games! But it's finally..DONE! I am working on completing the 4th Gen (which is almost done!) equivalent and will be taking these guys with me to Platinum! For organization purposes and saving space I placed them all in Pokemon Box and numbered the Boxes accordingly! Enjoy! (Also shoutout to @queenofglitch for helping me on this journey!❤️)

Investing in rare Pokémon trading cards has become an increasingly popular strategy for collectors and investors alike. While some may view it as merely a hobby, the market for rare Pokémon cards has proven to be a lucrative investment opportunity. Here's a closer look at why individuals choose to invest in rare Pokémon cards:
Scarcity and Rarity: One of the primary reasons to invest in rare Pokémon cards is their scarcity. Cards that were produced in limited quantities, such as first edition prints or promotional releases, are highly sought after by collectors. As these cards become increasingly difficult to find, their value tends to be appreciated over time. Scarcity drives demand, making rare Pokémon cards a valuable commodity in the collector's market.
Historical Significance: Pokémon cards hold significant cultural and historical value, particularly for individuals who grew up with the franchise. Investing in rare Pokémon cards allows collectors to own a piece of gaming history and nostalgia. Cards from the early sets, such as Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil, hold particular sentimental value for many collectors, as they represent the inception of the Pokémon TCG and the beginnings of a global phenomenon.
Popularity and Brand Recognition: Pokémon is one of the most recognizable and beloved franchises worldwide, with a dedicated fan base spanning multiple generations. The enduring popularity of Pokémon ensures a consistent demand for rare cards, even years after their initial release. Investing in rare Pokémon cards leverages the brand's enduring appeal and cultural relevance, providing investors with a stable asset with built-in demand.
Potential for Appreciation: Rare Pokémon cards have demonstrated a track record of appreciation over time. As the supply of these cards dwindles and demand continues to rise, their prices tend to increase accordingly. Some cards have seen exponential growth in value, far outpacing traditional investment vehicles. For example, certain first-edition holographic cards from the Base Set have sold for tens of thousands of dollars at auction, showcasing the immense potential for appreciation.
Global Market: The market for rare Pokémon cards extends beyond borders, attracting collectors and investors from around the world. This global demand ensures liquidity in the market, allowing investors to buy, sell, and trade cards with ease. The emergence of online marketplaces and auction platforms has further facilitated access to rare Pokémon cards, connecting buyers and sellers across continents.
Cultural Phenomenon: Pokémon has transcended its origins as a video game and trading card game to become a cultural phenomenon with widespread appeal. Investing in rare Pokémon cards taps into this cultural zeitgeist, allowing collectors to participate in a hobby that holds personal meaning and significance. As Pokémon continues to evolve and expand its reach through new games, movies, and merchandise, the market for rare cards is likely to remain robust.
Passion and Enjoyment: Beyond financial considerations, many individuals choose to invest in rare Pokémon cards out of a genuine passion for the franchise. Collecting and owning rare cards can bring joy and satisfaction to enthusiasts who appreciate the artwork, design, and lore of the Pokémon universe. For these collectors, investing in rare Pokémon cards is not just about making money but also about preserving and celebrating a cherished aspect of their childhood.

Some late night Pokémon Box shenanigans. Yes! This is a legitimate American physcial copy that I did pay a lot of money, tho thankfully not too much. I actually have no issue with the price going down in recent months, (the cuase is a large number of discs being sold by themselves without the case, this is a scummy practice among "game resellers" where they buy a game, separate the disc and manual from the case, and sell each separately for profit. Very fucked up and I'll see u in hell if you do this) this is also caused by the game being easier to emulate than ever thanks to the efforts of some like-minded fellow Pokémon lovers, and for that I have no problem with the average price of this thing going down! The more people that are able to enjoy this, the better. Please dont spend 1-2 grand to get this physical, just get a wii and mod it! And play it for free! Anywhozers doing some egg shenanigans for my copy of Leaf green, will show results when able. Tah!

With Pokemon Box no longer functioning as a service on the 3DS, is there a homebrew app that I haven't found yet that works the same way? Being able to swap Pokemon between games and up generations may still be handy for me at some point.
