Thinking about my old pkmn ask blog

#I’m not really active in the community anymore but more because I grew away from it #I think about coming back a lot but Im not really sure what id do lol. I mean I think my storytelling and writing #skills have somewhat improved. but i still really really suck at making endings #although maybe I could make it like something that resolves the main problem and then just open for any interactions..#….fuck. I’m actually considering it now. I love impulsiveness 🧍#ugh but the other problem was that I would slowly stop updating as the dopamine slowed down and then just abandoned it altogether #multiple times in fact. since I’m the one making the content and not consuming it eeeuuhhgggghuhuhhhhhhh #this lil guy was supposed to have a story around his estranged family and his own problem with identity. I think I could still pick it up #i suck at writing edgy aloof dialogue so it always felt a little stilted or off when I wrote his dialogue. but I love him #myart #my art #oc #pokemon ask blog #pokeask #moss eevee #pokemon

Star Sending 2023 - @askturnipdeerling

"Mx. Cyrus! Lookit this! Doesn't it seem like fun!" The Sprigatito hurries over to their guardian, holding an envelope. "'Star Sending'... Do you think we could meet new people this way? We could make 'em smile, too!"

The Espeon looks over the contents quietly before nodding their head. "Yes, perhaps so, Young Master." Cyrus skims over the list again and tilts their head. "What do you think we should purchase for them?"

"I've got a better idea," Prince exclaims, pulling out a map from Cyrus's bag. "I bet we could make something with the flowers in Artazon!"

Cyrus: "Greetings. An honor to meet you." They bow to both Risa and Turnip.

Prince: "We made these for ya! Hope ya like them. C'mon, open it up, open it up!"

Prince excitedly hands his box to Turnip, Cyrus chuckling and shaking their head before floating their box over to Risa.

Prince: "Ta-da! Some flowers from Artazon! They're- um... G-gaze..."

Cyrus: "Gazanias. And Blue Geraniums, I believe?"

Prince: "Yeah! One means something like 'treasure', and 'loyalty'! That's what they said, right?"

((I'M SO SORRY THAT I PUT THIS OUT SO LATE. I ran into a lot of things and didn't intend to post on the last day of the event, but I wanted to make sure it was special, too!

"ONCE WE LEARNED CO-OPERATION AND KINDNESS PREVIOUSLY UNSEEN WITHIN US, WE WERE ASKED IF THERE WAS A NAME WE WOULD LIKE TO BE CALLED BY. BOTH OF US WERE UNSURE, AND SO WE ASKED OUR FRIEND TO CHOOSE ONES FOR US."

"Speaking of this friend." Oceanus cut in, voice cool and calm, but bearing the slightest hint of worry, "There is something you need to know, and much to discuss. The reason as to why I awoke you, my Earth."

"HM? WHAT HAS OCCURRED DURING MY SLUMBER, DEAR OCEAN?"

I’m here because my father suggested I arrive here as our pack's envoy. Us mortals live under the sovereignty of his majesty here on Mt Coronet and he suggested I pay my respects. Although, he never said that I couldn't go around and socialize. (Lie)

I have to say, I am excited to meet new people and get to know them. Especially if they are as exciting to meet as you. (Truth)

I hear that someone of equal stature is… “up for grabs,” as some say. Are you here to court her? I imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult for someone like you." (Truth)

Lief: "'Godless' and 'cursed', you say? Full of ferals? I don't buy it. Who the heck goes around saying stuff like that, and why?"

Being a feral himself, it seemed like these comments have offended him somewhat, judging by his tone.

Yuuto took note of Lief's response, and something in his head seem to click. "Ah...yes. I understand now. You are visitors from other realms. Lucius' father did mention opening the gates of the otherworlders. Ok...now I know how to respond to all of you."

With that muttering, he now decided to give a proper reply to Lief. "These are rumors by the various Pokémon that are unknowing to the nature of Gods and rely on fictional tales to explain why things are the way they are. I can't say I'm a fan of such things espesically when ferals are regarded as being as "wild beasts" when they are just creatures who are just trying to live their life. However, it's hard to change the mindset of people that tend to stubborn."

"There are some truths to what they say. At least when it comes to their use of godless. This was the place that Diancie lived in. In fact, this was once her domain. However, as you may have heard, she is no longer here. For what reason? I don't know. Compare to my cousin-" He made it a point to gesture to Lucius. "My knowledge of Gods isn't quite as extensive. In fact. I was only made a demigod in the last few months when I was freed from the hellscape from a place I was made in."

Hey Oki and ogerpon, If the monkey and the bird came back and showed genuine remorse for their actions and wanted to apologize and make up for them, how would you two feel/react?

Ogerpon: (she takes a few seconds to think before answering) "I dunno... I know we used to be friends...but it was a really long time ago... ...they're really scary now... I dunno if I wanna see them again... ...even if they become nice..."

Oki: "They can try, but even if they're successful, they'll need to do a lot to gain the trust of humans and Pokemon. The bird can control emotions and the monkey can control minds, so it would be quite difficult to tell if they're being serious too. In the end, I do think they will try one day, but, due to what they've done before, they won't get very far with apologies."

Cyrus: "With a glance at our surroundings... We should arrive at Madame Sylvania's castle by noon. It seems Maria traveled further than originally anticipated.”

The Espeon reaches down and carefully picks up the sleeping Sprigatito. They move slower yet more precise than that of Maria previously. After placing Prince on their back, the Espeon glances out to the morning sun before turning to face forward.

Cyrus: "Come now, young Master. We haven't a moment to waste."
