Was binary star inspired by my hero academia at all? the design of binary star reminds me of all might a bit, and his ability to absorb abilities sounds like afo. especially with the younger brother thing you mentioned in another ask. hope it's not rude to ask, i just have mha brain rot so it's very possible i'm seeing connections where there are none. either way i loooooove this game!! I love the idea of how fragile safety is when they only person strong enough to protect earth has such a loose connection to it emotionally and is very willing to just let it all burn.

I watched a bit of mha, and Ray's character was partially inspired by Allmight + Aizawa.

For his 'absorption' power I was actually inspired by Rogue from the Xmen. She has always been my favorite Xmen character, and I always felt her story was so tragic but that she would absolutely be the most powerful character if her power didn't eat away at her mind. I liked the idea that the consequence of using a power over people is to become less human, it feels like a weapon rather than a power in that context. I also was very inspired by Atom's character from 'Pluto'.

In truth I have only seen a couple of seasons of MHA, so I don't know if afo is similar in that regard or not :).

okay so hear me out bc this has been plaguing my mind

funhouse mickey n co are just clubhouse mickey n co, except their memories were "wiped" like in that one fan made Scooby-Doo video (kinda like wiping the slate clean to start over)

basically mickey's clubhouse memories are minimal, but certain ones can be unlocked when shown certain parts of what happened (ex. opening the mousekedoor). others end in confusion n ofc, lack of remembrance (ex. meeting count mickula. again). also minor hc that mickey still remembers the phrase "meeska, mooska, mickey mouse" but doesn't know why this phrase is in his head, though he knows there's a reason he knows.

minnie's are very, VERY vague, though the strongest one is meeting count mickula. that being said she still doesn't remember him. his existence is familiar, but not remembered

everyone else doesn't remember anything from clubhouse

if a memory is patially restored, a character might start spacing out n questioning if it really happened. if one is restored in its entirety, a character will experience bliss n then start crying

naturally since im experiencing serious brain rot, i have to say that the martians also don't remember the gang, not even miss moo-moo or even that pluto from the respectively named dwarf planet. imagine their reaction if the two saw them, they will flip

like, the only people that haven't had their memories scrubbed clean are mickula, toodles and willie the giant as well as literally any other character in clubhouse that didn't reappear in funhouse

im thinking when they meet again, mickula will probs be devastated n then hopeful w/ the few memories the two main mice still have. maybe have him say sumth like "you look like them, but you aren't them"

the urge to make this into a whole fanfic is strong

but the urge to infodump about a fictional rodent starring in 2 preschoo/kindergarten show was stronger

I felt so bad for Felix in this one, this exactly how I would've cheered him up. The fact that he and Hyunjin never rest on their laurels and work so hard instead of just getting by with their visuals is the reason why I respect and love them to death.

I actually had a dream about Jeongin last night but I had to comfort him because he was crying. We had been sitting and chatting and suddenly he got worried about me. I can't remember what he was scared about, I think he thought I would leave someday?

So he started crying and hugging me. I stroked his hair and told him I wouldn't leave or that even if I did have to go somewhere I wouldn't be gone forever. I even gave him kisses on his nose and forehead. He eventually calmed down and had the cutest smiley baby face, the kind you could never say no to.

I can tell you must love giving me brain rot about Minho and Seonghwa, I just know Hwa in a school girl outfit....he would either be the sassiest diva in a skirt or he would be the most adorable cutie you've ever seen. Also a good excuse they could come up with to get the pack members in skirts is to say they're doing a big cosplay of the different sailor moon characters 😉 👀 just an idea.

a/n: fun fact, despite loving this series in 2015, i have not had an oc yet... so i'm going to do that right now because i had an idea that manifested in my brain while watching cowboy bebop this morning [STORMBRINGER SPOILERS]

Name: Atlas Ambrose

Age: 28

Ability: None

the first human to be “born" on the planet Mars

Was naturally born, but their mother passed away shortly after due to lack of oxygen (they were born on a ship that landed on the planet, mother gave them their birth name)

Father was a scientist, worked alongside N, he was not a good father

They were used to the isolation, as they were just fed food and then, and left to sit in a room for most of their early life

Since Atlas was considered a “failed experiment”, most of the scientists in that facility worked on Chuuya instead

Atlas was meant to be born in Mars on purpose to see if a rumor was true that a child with a strong ability would be born nearby the depths of space, the rumor was false and when it was found out that they do not have an ability: they were locked up

Debates on whether to gift them a singularity/ability were going about, but it wasn’t as much of a priority as Chuuya’s case

Despite not having an ability, under the government and as an experiment, they are registered as Ability User U134340 (fun fact: the number for pluto)

in that case, they were mostly just left to sit and rot in that room; they had no idea who Chuuya was at all despite them living in the same facility, the only thing they knew is that he was considered more “important” than him and that he was known as A5158 (they did not know his name)

The night that Verlaine and Rimbaud broke into that facility, Verlaine kicked open their door (thought Chuuya was in there)

Was scared that he was a scientist that was going to finally kill them off, but he told them to “go free” (he very quickly left after that, and so Atlas ran out the door, escaped the facility at age 13)

survived off of pretty much nothing, and debated whether or not they should just return to the facility (though they know they’d just be locked up in a room again)

Met a random man (who so happened to be Mori), who found them and invited them to the Mafia in promise of a better life than living off of grass

They accepted, and were put as a low-rank ambush shooter until one day, they were shooting in an ambush and were left on their own: their superior (who was an ability user) and the other shooters were found dead

Somehow beat up the enemy using no ability other than martial arts/fighting techniques before backup showed up, was found standing over their enemy with a gun in their hand

Ranked up as an assassin

then sooner or later, befriended (and fell in love) with Pianoman, who was in the process of created The Flags as a group

Was in a romantic relationship with Pianoman (till he died, sadge)

Founding member of the Flags as it slowly started to become a rather successful group

Despite having no ability, they’re the strongest combat user in the Mafia

Learned how to make anything a weapon from Iceman, a little bit of mechanics from Alb, how to seduce people with words from Lippman, and a lot of strange medical facts from Doc (as well as how to quickly take care of an injury)

when Chuuya joined the Mafia (they are 21 now), they didn’t warm up to him at first, but didn’t know why (they had no idea he was the boy who was being experimented on in the same facility)

When they did warm up to him though, they actually ended up being neighbors when he moved into the same apartment complex as them

They often gifted him a lot of their jewelry and clothes, and was half the reason why Chuuya got into fashion

when the flags were trying too find out about Chuuya’s past, they soon figured out that he was that boy, but they weren’t mad

However, did feel kind of strange about it at first, but after realizing how abusive that facility was (from their own experience), they wanted to protect Chuuya even more

When the flags were dying, Verlaine spared them because he was “impressed that someone so weak from before has survived this long”; and then proceeded to kill pianoman :(

They went after Verlaine, but were knocked unconscious in the process

When they woke up, Pianoman was still at least a little conscious, but dying, he died in their arms after he told them to run away

When Chuuya came into Old World, they said sorry and that they couldn’t do anything, saying Verlaine spared them but knocked them unconscious

Wanted to help Chuuya catch him, but he said no and told them to find a place to be safe in the mean time

(I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS AND ITS SO SAD), during the funeral, a family members of Pianoman’s came up to them with a box with a ring in it and said “He wanted to marry you. I’m glad you were in his life.”

After that, Atlas stays close to Dazai during the SB crisis, and when it’s over, they go down to the basement and meet Verlaine

Instead of being mad, they ask him to teach them everything he knows in terms of assassination and fighting skills

right after learning all of that, on their last assassin job, they defect from the Mafia and live in an broken down mansion by the sea side (Chuuya isn’t mad at them, doesn’t blame them for leaving, leaves at 22)

Chuuya’s the one who goes through the “7th Agency” to get rid of their crimes (he’s somehow not suspected in aiding their escape)

One day while getting groceries, they meet Ranpo who “arrests” them, but then later finds out that they’re innocent (were framed by someone despite their crimes being “deleted”)

They follow the entire case that Ranpo is working on and asks if they can join the Agency

Ranpo flat out goes “aren’t you still a criminal, though?”, they shiver because he’s not wrong, but then Fukuzawa’s like “get off their back”, and they join the ADA because Fukuzawa’s gut tells him that they’re trying to be a good person (though he still does some sort of a test)

Aids the Agency by being an excellent martial artist (they pretty much win in every fight, despite not having an ability); earns the name of “The Agency’s Bounty Hunter”

Earned that name because every time there’s a chase with a criminal, their always the first to catch and reprimand them

eventually as time goes on, and Dazai joins the Agency, they have to pretend that they don’t know each other (which is a funny scenario in my brain)

Atlas finds out how and why he left later on, and they become close friends

Dazai thinks that Atlas has an ability and just hasn’t realized it yet, but they don’t believe him

But they live happily in the Agency, just… don’t ask about the ring on their finger

Currently watching: Pluto not into anime that much but i saw a video essay by curious archive called "sympathy for the machine" talking about how people will project themself on to robots in media how we perceive them on the same level of consciousness and free will as an actual person. in that vid it brought up North #2's story of being a retired war robot who want to learn to play piano because hes permanent scared by his time fighting and wanted to create something rather than destroy. ive always loved robots and im always a sucker for sad robots stories and gave it a watch, with my only impression of pluto being that vid i didnt know anything about the detective plot b4 hand and got pleasantly surprised, only got like 2 episode left of it

the new album is as anticlimactic as ever. only the guest artists is what that makes some of the good tracks. this album artistic concept is at least not bad than his other solo works like honestly never mind and clb, so half a point there. but overall, at the end its just drake being drake.

best track: tried our best - the vocals just makes me wanna ascend, even so drake is known for his vocal raps tho
