Absolutely making shit up as I go. Still finishing the other one and then I have to figure out how to attach them without ruining it all. I actually made my own pattern and cut fabric out to it without crying or panicking this time. So that's progress.
(Ignore how uneven those look, that's my abysmal posture at work. They do actually match in length when I'm standing still. And despite the lighting weirdness, it all matches.)

You didn't want to ask Rafe for help.
You never like doing it in general. The concept is foreign to you and it makes your skin crawl with a sense of dread, but you were desperate.
He hasn't come back to your bar in a while; probably off finding a new replacement for a fake girlfriend. Before, you hadn't given it much thought. You did decline. However, now, you wish he hadn't found one yet. Now, the offer sounds appetizing given the situation you're in.
You need to get in contact with him. You knew that showing up to the Tannyhill estate would raise questions but you didn't know where he would be. An idea suddenly popped up in your head and you decided to scroll through social media and find the nearest Kook party. You found one, just uploaded fifteen minutes ago, at Topper's house.
Parking in the street, you stare at the party in full swing. It has been a while since you've been to a party—too focused on working full-time at Sailor and taking care of your siblings—and the idea of going in unnerves you. You were still in uniform, well, it's something you try to wear everyday to get tips. A simple black crop top and a mini skirt. You find it ironic that you were at least dressed for the part.
Leveling some confidence, you push open the creaky door of your old car and head inside. It is absolutely crowded with people, with girls and guys drinking and dancing outside in the yard, near the pool, on the porch. Your eyes glaze over every single one of them, trying to find the one person you hope would be here.
You find Rafe near the back porch of the mansion. He's with a couple of his buddies, Topper being among them, and a girl on his arm as he holds a beer with the same hand. You weren't surprised in the slightest. This was his plan after all. You were just surprised by the feeling in your stomach.
The lick of jealousy you didn't understand where it came from.
You step up. His friends were the first to notice you, scanning over your body that you wish you had worn a jacket over yourself. When you are just in front of him, his gaze finally focuses and meets your gaze.
"Can we talk?" You ask, sparing no attention to the girl on him.
He scoffs, "fuck off."
Of course he's going to be an asshole. You didn't bother with entertaining his comment by grabbing his arm, pulling him up. You knew you didn't have the strength to take him completely so you were pleasantly surprised when he assisted and got up. He even pushed the girl to the side as you dragged him off to somewhere quiet.
Well, as quiet as the live party can be.
"What do you want?"
His words are sharp and harsh, but you expected nothing less. You figured something happened—that's why he entertains his vices, right?—and plus, you told him that you wanted nothing to do with him. If anything, he has a bit of justification to be pissed.
But that doesn't mean you would accept it.
"I was going to talk to you about your offer, but seeing as you're being too much of an ass, I guess I should come back another time," you snap, turning around to head out because fuck him. You weren't going to take it. You had other things to do. You would be forgiving, perhaps, if he actually talked to you about his problem but to be a dick off the bat? Not a chance in hell.
"Wait," he grabs your arm before you move far and this contrasts the strength you hold. One hand and a lazy attempt to hold you in place. "What do you want?"
He said that somewhat nicer.
You turn back with a glare, contemplating what to do, before remembering what's at stake. You're already here. Might as well get it over with.
"I'll do it." You say, your voice coming out smaller than you intended. It’s so embarrassing to ask for help. It feels even more so to backtrack into something you said you couldn't—wouldn't—do. "Be your fake girlfriend, I mean."
The corner of his lips quirks into an amused smile. Even in his drunk state, where his blond hair is darkened from the humidity of the space and his eyes glossed over, you can't help but admit how attractive he is. "Couldn't stay away, could you?"
"I'm not trying to be the next Mrs. Cameron," you snap, feeling the need to clarify. "But, I do need the payout."
His eyes narrow. "Thought you didn't want it?"
"I don't," you answer. "It's something else."
He tilts his head to the side, studying you. "What?"
Sighing, you wished you could talk somewhere more private. But, this truly is the best place you can get him. "When you get your father's company and start doing all the Kook bullshit of hosting charity events, galas, and dinners, I want you to use Sailor as your drink caterer."
It sounded like a good deal when you thought of it. You didn't want the money because you don't know how long this little facade is going to last. You needed something stable. You need something that would benefit you in the long-run. Since Sailor has been slipping off the profit margins and you've been dealing with some trouble regarding its ownership, you figured the business from all the catering would boost it up. It would give you status and credit. It would benefit you long after this engagement with Rafe ends.
His eyes look thoughtful of the idea. You wonder how he's calculating, how he's weighing the options about whether to accept your negotiation or to decline—telling you he already found a replacement. You hope it wasn't the latter. You needed this.
"No."
You clench your jaw. Of course. The one time you sought out help, instead of cleaning up the mess yourself, you got shut down. It's embarrassing.
"Fine." You say, ripping your arm out of his grasp and heading straight to the exit. You want to leave as soon as possible and use the time you should've spent going here to actually come up with a solution. It was a wasted effort on your end. You make a mental note of that.
Just a few steps short of the exit, some guy nearby grabs your arm and holds you in place. "Where you going, pretty?" He slurs his words, his eyes cascading down your body that you wished you pulled down the length of your skirt. "I didn't get the chance to talk to you."
You try to rip your arm off of his but his grip is firm. "Leave me alone."
"Come on, pretty," he gets closer, his intoxication reeking from his breath that you had to turn your head to avoid the smell. "I can make you feel real good."
Your hand clenched by your side while the other places a palm directly on his chest, trying to place some distance between you and the stranger before you commit to your next move. "If you don’t leave me alone—"
It happened in a flash. One minute he's holding you, the second he's getting knocked back with a punch delivered straight on the mouth.
You look up to see Rafe, his knuckles clenched and redden while the beer he was cradling had dropped on the ground into a million broken pieces. His breathing heavy while his eyes are a little distant, lagged out.
"Rafe," you call out, but before he gets the chance to face you, the drunk stranger comes staggering back with a punch in return. The crowd gasps and quickly moves out of the way as a circle forms, Rafe and the man trading swings.
No one is helping them. No one is attempting to. Rafe is significantly more drunk than the stranger, his footing is slightly off, and the drunkard is getting in more decks on Rafe's face.
When Rafe tries to duck from a delivery, the guy does directly to his stomach and it causes him to topple over with a grunt.
Having enough, you step forward and grab the stranger's shoulder. He turns around with a look of confusion—just in time for you to deck him as hard as your hand can swing, right in the face.
"Shit!" You swear under your breath, the blow rippling back and returning straight to your fist, aching.
The stranger staggers back, his back hitting the floor while you grab Rafe. You don't know where you're going, you don't know the layout of this house, but pushing through the crowd, you find an empty bedroom and slam the door close with a lock.
Thankfully, it had a bathroom attached to it. You set Rafe on the mattress as you flick the lights on and search for the cabinets for any aid. Rafe's bottom lip is busted, there's a cut on one of his brows, and bruising forming against his jawline. You don't even want to think about the mess on his knuckles.
Finding a first aid kit, you step back to see Rafe laid out against the mattress, his eyes closed. You rush to his side, afraid he has a concussion and he's falling asleep.
"Rafe!" You shout, hitting his cheeks with the back of your hand in light taps, causing his eyes to flutter open. "You can't do that."
Willing himself back to a sitting position with your assistance, you set the first aid kit to the side as you attempt to help him. Using your hands to cradle his face, you assess the damages.
"Where'd you learn to punch like that?" He asks, the heat of his gaze follows you as you remove your touch.
You shrug. "You need to learn two things growing up in The Cut," you hold up a finger, "how to deliver a good right hook,"
You pause for a moment.
Impatiently, he prompts. "And?"
You hold up his gold signet ring and his watch. "How to take advantage of a drunk."
He scoffs, snatching his things out of your grasp as you laugh, releasing some tension in your shoulders. "Pogue." He sneers.
"Kook." You retort, but there's a lightness in your tone.
Rafe says nothing as you return to your search through the aid kit. When you find what you were looking for, you start on his face, first cleaning the cut around his brow.
He hisses at the sting, but allows you to continue. It was an awkward position to be in, sitting beside him as you try to clean the damage, and he must've noticed how irritated you were getting with his constant shifts away from the pain. Without a word, he grabs your waist and pulls you into his lap with one swoop, both legs on either side of his waist as his hands settle on the small of your back.
"Better?" He questions, raising a brow.
You don't say anything, attempting to adjust your skirt rising up to your hips, before you nod.
Cleaning the wound, you tilt your head to examine what your next step should be. It's hard to figure out because the bruise is slowly forming and while the cut may be small right now, it's going to be nasty tomorrow.
To ease some tension of the silence, you prompt with a conversation. "You got into another fight with your dad?"
He stiffens under you, clenching his jaw. "What makes you say that?"
You feel his eyes trained on your face, but you refuse to acknowledge it. "Because you're out here getting drunk instead of getting wasted at my bar."
Rafe smirks. "Miss me?"
"No, it was good for business." You say, matter-of-fact, and the look on his face dies off. You feel guilty. Adding on, you rectify, "and, you would've had someone to talk to. I don't think the people around here are offering that."
He says nothing, watching you work. You exchanged the bloodied pads for some ointment.
"It's just about Sarah again." He mutters, almost like he didn't want you to hear but knowing you would. "Same shit. Same golden child."
You nod, finally flicking your gaze down to his. His blue eyes are so prominent now, so clear, you wonder if you could get lost in them.
Rafe doesn't disclose any details like he normally does. When he goes on long tangents about the problem. It must've been bad. So, you lower your hand and cup his face, tilting his face to meet yours. "Want to talk about it?"
He swallows hard. "I don't want to talk."
"What do you want to do?"
"Fuck." He answers without a thought, the ability to shift into a fuck-mode is easier than digesting his feelings. You laugh, inappropriately, dropping your hand from his cheeks. You're about to push yourself off his lap—having bandaged him up—and let him go find his next hookup, but his grip on your waist tightens.
He doesn't say anything with that move, and you tilt your head at him.
"I thought I was below your level?" You tease.
"Yet, you're sitting on my dick right now," he says, eyes following yours. "What do you think that means?"
While you're not directly on him, you can feel his hard-on swelling under his pants, lightly grazing against your core, and causing a small ache between your legs.
"That you're horny enough to go for a Pogue."
He scoffs, lowering his hands to your ass and palms the flesh. Your eyes flutter close at the moment. "Who knew you were hiding such a nice body behind that counter?"
"You just haven't been paying attention."
"I am now."
His hands lowering to your hips, slowly pulling you down his lap, realigning your cunt until it sits directly on top of his zipper. He leans forward, his hot mouth against your ear. "If I tell you to grind on me, would you do it?"
You place a hand on his chest, trying to ease some space between the two of you, but your attempt was weak. Some part of you didn't want to leave.
"You're pushing it."
"What if I told you it would make me feel better?" He whispers, his fingers trailing up your skirt, against your bare thighs, leaving goosebumps in its wake. "That you can consider it part of your deal."
Your breath hitch in surprise. "You're saying yes?"
"I was going to," he pulls back to meet your face, "but you ran away."
"You said no to me," you remind him.
"To rile you up," he says, like an asshole, and you scoff. "Didn't think you would just leave like that."
"Maybe you should give me clear answers then."
"Fine," his breath is right in front of yours. "I want you to ride me."
Your eyes trail his face, your hands finding his shoulders. You know you shouldn't. You know if this is supposed to be fake, why do you feel a deep, carnal urge for him. If this happens, it opens the door to other things. But, something in you softens. He did get a bruise for you. He did defend you. He's in pain and you're in need.
Maybe you could use each other.
Slowly, your hips roll against his. The look on his face hints at surprise that you took the bait and causes you to smirk, gripping his shoulders harder when you find the hard cock lined against your panties. You press down.
"Fuck," he groans raspily, "just like that."
The praise lights something in you. "Like that?" You repeat, pushing yourself against his jeans, rubbing up and down, that you can feel him grow harder and harder against the seams of his pants. He nods shakily. "Is it making you feel better, baby?"
He knows you're taunting him, using his words, but he fucking loves it. You're listening. For once, you're not actively trying to spite him and knock back—but willing, to him.
"That's right," he compliments, his gaze following your body as you are starting to find a rhythm against him. Your movements are getting sloppier. "Just what I need. A Pogue who listens to whatever I fucking say."
You nod vigorously, feeling your wetness growing against your panties, drenching the material enough to leak through and rub off against the front of his pants.
"God, look at you," he muses in your ear, glancing down, and a chuckle leaves his throat. "You made such a mess."
"Feel so good," you moan, you tip your head back as the friction of his jeans feels incredibly perfect against your swollen clit.
"Come on, sweetheart," his grip around your waist tightens, afraid with the way you're moving, you're going to fall off. "Ride me."
You follow his direction, quickening your pace as low groans and rasps leaves his lips at the sensation you're making him feel. The sound is like drugs to you, fueling you, because you want to desperately help him arrive at his own climax.
You wrap both your arms around his neck, grinding ruthlessly against his lap. Leaning forward, you dip your face into the crook of his neck. "Come on, Rafe," you whisper into his ear, closing into your own orgasm. "Come for me."
As you came with a moan, your movements didn't stop. Your legs ache, begging to stop, but you want him to get there too.
"Fuck, fuck," he moans at your aggression, at how hard you're pressed against him, moving against him, it's a mesmerizing sight. "I'm coming."
You feel it against your core. The subtle twitch of his dick under the jeans. The faint wetness under you, mixed with your own cum, produces a small smile against your lips.
You slow your grind, pulling back, just to meet his eyes clearing from their post-orgasmic haze, and his grip has weakened significantly around your body. When you stop completely, you push yourself off of him, finding your feet on solid ground with wobbly legs.
"Better?" You tease, to which he nods weakly through heavy-lids. With a satisfied smile, you turn around and head for the door.
"I'll see you on our first date."

Infected Y/n
The Infected Home AU rightfully belongs to @suketchi-s ! Read all about it right (here)
This is just my interpretation of what would happen if Y/n was infected.
This is part of the collection of art I have for this AU!
Comic:

(Part two)

Facts about infected Y/n
During Y/n’s stay in Home, they dial Wally through his own phone to Barnaby’s phone, where Wally resides since his house is infected, tormenting Wally with taunts, mocking him for trying to save them…doesn’t help that Wally has nightmares about Home, it only adds fuel to Wally’s dread and misery.
With the infection coursing through Y/n’s body, they obtained many abilities, one such as allowing Y/n to mangle their own body to fit in tight spaces perfectly, using that to catch their prey off guard.
(Inspired by the fridge scene in “2017 IT”)
Speaking of prey, since Y/n is a human, they need to feed.
To satisfy their hunger, Y/n ventures out of Home and into the woods and hunt animals.
Since Home has phases of the infection, so will Y/n, seemingly getting stronger.
And based off of this, they start off with small animals to feed off of in their first and second phase, then finally to bigger animals on phase 3.
There is an occasion where phase 3 Y/n feeds off of themselves, tearing off the infected blobs off of their torn head and consume them.
Final stage, stage 3
This design is based off the concept I thought from the top of my head.
The many voices that Y/n mentioned is you (🫵), the veiwer, since many people share the self insert, also being the many infected blobs coming out of Y/n’s head.
Meaning that this self insert can shape shift into anything they want, appearance, voice, and all! That’s how self inserts work, a self insert can be anything!
They can go back to their normal human state, and by doing that, they hide the infection from plain sight, as a diversion to their prey.
The two abnormal difference, is their lack of blinking, always giving a thousand yard stare then snapping out of the somewhat tranced state, once they make eye contact with someone.
Then there is the lack of emotion, no anger, no sadness, no happiness, nothing, just smiling endlessly…
The infection does increase their strength and speed, with their large infected hand they can slice and break solid materials with ease, plus with the large hand they can reach long distances.
With each passing day, Home continues to spread the infection more and more, getting stronger and stronger, and so does Y/n..
——————————
I had a fun time doing this! It was about time I get back to my horror stuff! Hope ya’ll enjoy this!

We have a little free pantry in our front yard (toothbrushes, tampons, shelf-stable snacks bottled water, etc.), and I read a lot about people's experiences having one online before we put ours up re: expectations about potential interactions with people using it, but nothing prepared me for how weirdly aggro *other* people sometimes get about us having it as a form of "activism" as opposed to some other, more nebulous idea of broader social change. "Don't you think it'd be better to volunteer at or donate money to a homeless shelter, so those people can get the actual help they need?" "Shouldn't you focus more on trying to campaign for policy changes that will help more people than one street corner if you care about this problem?" "Isn't doing that a waste of time?" "Aren't you just encouraging people not to get help?" I do that other stuff when I can. This is something small I can do - in addition to raising awareness and fighting for bigger change, when I have the time and money and spoons - and at least, when I don't. It's crazy to me to approach social justice issues with such an all-or-nothing mindset as some people seem to. I've met enough of the individuals who utilize it to know it makes a difference in a very tangible way for the people directly around me.
No, I agree entirely.
Corny and dated as it is, there's a reason the saying is "be the change you want to see". If no one within the community puts in the work to fix the community's problems, even in little bits and pieces, then how will anything change? Raising awareness only goes so far. What happens when all anyone is, is aware? Aware, and still doing nothing, waiting for someone else to put in the work.
Sometimes, that someone is going to need to be you. You can't just wait around and wait for someone else to do it for you.
If I see someone digging through the trash for food, I wave them over and offer them food from my house or fresh food from a store or take them to a restaurant where they can order whatever they want. If I'm getting groceries and I see someone very obviously homeless struggling to pay for their food, I tell the cashier to add it to my bill. No one starves in front of me. Ever since I stopped needing to rely on food stamps, no one starves in front of me.
This past summer I saw someone splayed out on the sidewalk in 95F weather in direct sunlight. I couldn't tell if he was unconscious from drugs or passed out from the heat or just simply had fallen asleep in the shade and then the sun moved. I was getting groceries so I added a bunch of hot chicken to my order plus several bottles of refrigerated water. I went over to him and woke him and explained that I was worried he needed medical attention. He'd passed out because he was tired, he told me. I offered him the hot food and the water and he thanked me, telling me he'd run out of water the night before and food the day before that and didn't have any money to get any more.
Everyone else had been walking around him like he was just an obstacle on the sidewalk. No one had thought to offer any help. When I walked away, some folks who saw me told me that that was very nice of me. I don't think it was nice of me. I think that's just what you should do if you see someone obviously in distress. They agreed that he seemed like he needed the help. They didn't act. They agreed that the compassionate and right thing to do was to offer assistance and make sure he was okay. But they didn't do it. They waited for someone else to do it.
I've mentioned in passing that I volunteer for the local teen LGBT club, helping lost gay kids find their way and maybe not kill themselves about it. It's not much. I mostly just text back and forth with whatever kids get my number from the adults that run the thing. Sometimes I give them tips and advice. Sometimes I'm just the cool gay uncle they tell about their latest school drama. Once or twice I've served one of them lunch on my couch while my dogs smother them with affection and they cry about their latest heartbreak. I don't do speeches or history lessons or anything like that. I don't think I'm qualified for it, in honesty. But if even one of them doesn't commit suicide, if even one of them doesn't self-harm, if even one of them no longer feels all alone in the world because I'm there when they reach out to me, that's enough.
Today on my commute to work, the guy in front of me had a major wipeout on his motorcycle. I stopped my car in a position that none of the other cars could hit him, and asked if he was okay, and waited until his friend (also on a motorcycle) had circled back around to help him off the road and check him over. I left once his friend waved me away. I offered to call an ambulance but he refused.
A couple weeks ago, also on my commute, a woman was stopped on the side of the road, waving her arms at drivers, shouting for help. I stopped. The other drivers didn't. Her car had died, she was new to town, and she was somewhere that notoriously doesn't get cell service. I helped her call a tow truck. It wasn't a trap. She didn't want to hitchhike. She just was stuck and panicked about it.
I stop and help animals get off the road. I've lost count on how many turtles I've carried to the other side. I helped my neighbor search for a dog he saw get hit by a car so he could take it to the vet. I shoveled my elderly neighbor's driveway for her, and talked my boss into giving her a major discount for her little dog's dental in which pretty much every tooth needed extraction or he would die. When I still lived in that rental with my roommates, we were surrounded by kids. Every kid on the block knew we were a safe house to go to. If they needed food or water, if they needed entertainment, if they needed just somewhere to be, they could be at our place. When covid started, I did a "reverse halloween" since Halloween was canceled, and I put bags of candy on every doorstep that I knew had kids inside. I've done a "neighborhood santa" putting a small toy plus a small gift card for the parents on every doorstep that has kids, for as long as I've lived around kids.
When I say activism requires action, I don't mean that every single person is required to save a thousand lives. The honest answer is, unless you have a lot of disposable time and money, you probably won't. But you can still make a difference. To one. To ten. To twenty.
And you know what? I'm not saying black people specifically came up with this- but how can you be surprised to know this is how I live my life when I say over and over that I was raised by black activists who lived during MLK Jr and Malcolm X and knew community action would have the longest-lasting effects? Of course I do all this. That's what being part of a community *is*.

Be a Good Teammate pt. 4
Tumblr media
Jessie Fleming x Reader
Read Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 first!
Preview: You and Jessie have dinner at her new place.
Warnings: it’s angsty yall, buckle up (just for a bit), swearing, very brief mention of sex (no descriptions, nothing like that, but it gets mentioned)
WC: 5.5k
A/N: I think this is the end of this series. I never intend to make it more than 1 part honestly, but you all enjoyed it enough so here we are at Part 4. This also ended up more angsty than I had planned so, whoops :)
It was nearing 5pm when your Uber pulled up in front of the address Jessie had sent you. You thanked the driver and hopped out. You hadn’t thought much of the address, not noticing that there wasn’t an apartment number or a unit letter attached to the end of it, so you were surprised to find yourself standing in front of a house instead of an apartment complex as you had expected.
It was a small little blue house, wood fencing all around, a good sized front yard, a few trees, it was exactly what you would expect Jessie to pick out.
You pulled your phone out of your sweatpants pocket to let her know you had arrived. You had gotten back to the hotel, quickly thrown on a Nike sweatshirt and a fitted pair of gray joggers.
“Hi.” You look up to see Jessie walking through the doorway and down the steps toward the fence gate. You put your phone back in your pocket, not needing to let her know you were here anymore. She reached the gate, unlatched it and held it open for you to come inside. You notice that she quickly looks you up and down as you walk through into her front yard. You can’t help but do the same to her.
Jessie’s hair was down, still slightly wet from her postgame shower, she was wearing a lavender colored long sleeved shirt and a pair of sweatpants. She looked cozy, as if she was ready to cuddle up on the couch for the evening like she had mentioned wanting to do.
“You bought a house?” Your curiosity gets the best of you and you can’t help but ask.
“Yeah, I did. I lived with Janine and her fiancé for the first few weeks while I looked at places, and then I had to leave for the gold cup and I just couldn’t find any apartment that felt like home. I started looking at houses instead once I got back. This was actually the first one I saw and I really liked it. It’s not too big, which works since it’s just me right now but has some room if I need it in the future.” Your brain wanders to the thought of Jessie having her own kids in the future, you knew she wanted them and you had seen how good she was with kids over the years.
“Plus I figured even if I’m only here for a couple years, I can keep the house. It’s only been a few weeks but I love the area. I'd consider coming back here to settle when soccer is over.” She opened the front door, stepping back to let you walk in first.
You slip off your shoes, placing them on the mat next to the door where Jessie’s shoes lay neatly in a row. Looking up you realize you're standing in her living room, there’s a large gray couch, a small table in front of it, a tv, a bookshelf that’s filled with books and art and other trinkets.
“You can keep a plant alive now?” You tease her as you see she has a variety of green plants. In college you had watched her become what you described as a serial killer of plants.
“I’m getting better. A lot of them were housewarming gifts from my teammates so I maybe just haven't had enough time to kill them.”
Stepping out of the entryway you walk over to her bookshelf, looking at the various titles, there’s a couple photos placed on the bookshelf, one with her parents after she had won the gold medal, one of her and her Chelsea teammates holding up a couple trophies, one of her and her siblings all wearing matching Christmas pajamas. The opening to the kitchen was just to your right, you step in its direction before turning to look at Jessie who was following closely behind you.
“Can I see the kitchen?” You don’t want to invade her privacy by inviting yourself to take a tour of her place.
As if she read your mind she gestures her hand in the direction of the kitchen. “Go ahead, I can just give you the whole tour now while we wait for the food, it should be on its way by now. I was also thinking we can watch the Angel City and Orlando game, only if you want it should be on at 7. ” She looks at the clock mounted on the wall.
“Yeah that sounds good.” You reply as you step into the kitchen.
Her kitchen was cute, the same wood accent from the outside of the house scattered throughout. She offered you an ice pack for your nose as you stood looking at her fridge. You declined, having just taken the pain meds, it was bearable pain.
As you continue to move through her house Jessie makes a few comments here and there about what she liked about the house so much, the wood flooring, the large windows that let in natural light, the little nook that she had set up to be a place to read. Hearing her talk about the little things, paint colors, furniture was so simple and yet it made you feel like you were back to your old friendship. The simple minded discussions, the joking around, all the tiny moments you would have with her, it hit you how much you really missed just her existence and company.
You get to two closed doors at the end of the hallway, you point at the one closest to you and look back at Jessie.
“Linen closet, nothing exciting unless you want to see towels.” You move your finger to point at the other. “My bedroom.”
“Oh,” You’re not sure what to say, the closed door seemed like an obvious sign to not go in. Jessie again, able to tell what was running through your head, speaks up.
“You can go in, I just close the door out of habit. I don’t have anything to hide.” Wanting to see her bedroom, you push open the door. It reminds you a little bit of her bedroom in your college apartment. Not much as far as decor, just a few special things on display throughout. Her bed in the center of the room, a nightstand on one side.
“Sorry it’s still a mess in here, I haven’t had a ton of time to dedicate to unpacking and I was more focused on the rooms everyone else would see.” You look around, trying to find the mess she was referring to. Her bed was made, no clothes scattered across the floor, no pile of clean laundry to be put away, no water bottles on bedsides, not even dust, just a few boxes stacked neatly in the corner, the one on top open as if she had been in the middle of unpacking when you had arrived.
“If this is what you consider a mess, we have completely different standards of mess.” You let out a laugh, Jessie doesn’t say anything, just gives you a smile and slow nod.
You’re interrupted by her phone ringing, she picks it up and before answering the call she points around the corner. “If you want to see my bathroom, it's through the closet. I’ll be right back.”
She walks out of the room and you hear her answer the call. You take a second look around her bedroom, looking at the couple of personal items that were scattered, photos of her and her Canada teammates, photos of her family, photos of skylines and nature that you assume she had taken. She has her array of cameras all neatly set on a shelf, displaying them. Making your way over to her closet you walk through to peek into her bathroom. It looked like a bathroom, nothing too special about it, a shower, toilet, a vanity with two sinks, her toothbrush, hairbrush, and other bathroom things just placed neatly around one side.
You turn back to go wait in her bedroom being done looking at the bathroom. You walk into her closet, taking a quick glance around, the closet had more boxes in it than unpacked clothing items. Each box was neatly labeled, varying in sizes, all stacked on top of one another. You look at what clothes she had unpacked, it was nearly all clothes for training, one pile had clothes with the maple leaf and the name Canada across them, the other a mix of red, green, some blue, with the thorn’s logo and Portland across them. Looking back toward the exit of the closet your eye catches on a box, more specifically the label of the box catches your eye.
It was a box with your name on it. Printed carefully along the side, in Jessie’s handwriting. You could feel your heart begin to race. You couldn’t move, your eyes staring, your own name looking back at you. Why did she have a box with your name on it?
“Foods here.” You didn’t even hear Jessie coming, the sound of your blood rushing through your ears muffling outside noises. She comes around the corner, you quickly look away, not wanting her to see you and think you were snooping through her stuff. You weren’t, but you could see how it could look suspicious, but then again she was the one with a box labeled for you. She must’ve seen your sudden movement as she looks at you with a questioning look, then at where the box sat, you see the moment she knows you’ve seen the box. Her eyes widen and dart back to you. You expect her to say something, she does, just not about the box.
“It’s on the kitchen table.” Her face returns to a relaxed state, almost emotionless.
“Perfect.” Mirroring her behavior you decide maybe you’ll both just pretend that box doesn’t exist. Maybe you’ll just let it eat away at you for years, just like you had done with your feelings for the girl. You follow her out of the closet and bedroom back down the hallway and into the kitchen.
You both make a plate, grab a water, and sit down at her kitchen table. She sits first and you’re then forced to make the choice between sitting next to her or across from her. You decide on sitting across, hoping she doesn’t judge your choice. It’s quiet for the first few minutes, just the sound of silverware. Jessie keeps her eyes down, looking very interested in the plate of food sitting before her. You knew it was going to be awkward, seeing her in a non-football setting for the first time in so long, you were prepared for the small talk, asking about your family, your friends, the weather, you weren’t prepared for whatever this was. Both of you sitting here thinking about that box brought a whole different level of unexpected discomfort, it was making you itch.
“Your girlfriend doesn’t mind you having a box with another girl's name on it?” Unable to hold it in any longer, you let the question come out, you quickly kick yourself for asking that way, bringing her girlfriend into this conversation. Jessie picks up her head and puts her fork down.
“She’s not my girlfriend anymore.” Choosing the wrong time to take a sip from your glass you choke slightly causing a coughing fit. Jessie just looks at you as you try to calm down. Once you stop coughing she continues muttering the words, “and she actually did mind. A lot.”
Your brain is spinning, you heard her keep talking but your mind kept repeating the words she had spoken “not my girlfriend anymore”.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you split.”  You now feel guilty for bringing up the girl.
“Of course you didn’t, you stopped talking to me, you didn’t get to have the privilege of knowing that we split.” Her tone of voice was shifting, becoming annoyed. Wanting to ask more but also not wanting to pry on a relationship you barely knew about.
“Why didn’t you just get rid of the stuff? If that would’ve made her happy?”
“I don’t know.” She pauses looking down at her hands. “I mean I do, it’s,” she sighs. “To be fair it wasn’t just the box, she had always been a little suspicious of our relationship, I told her the truth, that there’s never been anything between us, we didn’t have a history. And she believed me, I think, at least at the start. But then when you stopped talking to me, she’d catch me watching your games, checking up on you, looking at old photos of us, and she eventually found some clothing of yours that I had put away, along with the notes we used to write each other, the birthday cards, the Polaroids, everything. I wasn’t intentionally hiding but it was out of sight out of mind for me. I didn’t need the constant reminder that I had been dumped by my best friend. She again made the assumption that we had dated, or at least had slept together. She read the letters claiming friends to talk to each other in that manner. That was just the start of the mess.”
Nodding along to her story, you try to show her you’re paying attention, and you were, it was just hard when your mind was drifting to a hundred different thoughts.
“And then the rumors started about my transfer. I hadn’t told her about it, I hadn't even mentioned the idea of leaving London. I wasn’t even sure it was going to go through, it was a lot of money for Portland and I was waiting on visas and medical and all that bureaucracy and we got into an argument about it. She accused me of moving for the wrong reasons, she brought up you.” Jessie pauses for a minute as if to collect her thoughts before she continues.
“ I then said some things about you I shouldn’t have said to her and then it was over with her shortly after.” The volume of her voice drops as she rushed her words at the end of her sentence.
“You could’ve just thrown it all out at the start, if that would’ve fixed things with her, I wouldn’t have known.” Your statement is true, you didn’t even know she had kept all those things you wouldn’t have known if she had gotten rid of them.
“It wasn’t that easy, I know we weren’t talking, and like I said we weren’t even friends, but fuck I missed you so much. You were my best friend for nearly 5 years, only to get dropped without a reason and I was mad at you, sure but I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of that box of stuff.”
“There was a reason, I hope you know that.”
“Well you didn't give me a reason, if you just would’ve told me I could’ve fixed it or apologized or something. Instead I just had to sit and run through every decision I had ever made questioning where I went wrong with you, what I did to hurt you.” You can see tears welding in her eyes as she continues to stare at you, despite the tears, her eyes are cold and make you feel tiny under her gaze.
You stayed sitting, staring back at her, having no clue on what to say to her, stuck between wanting to apologize and also wanting to yell back at her. You silence allows her to continue.
“I would’ve done anything to have you back in my life, all you had to do was ask, but it felt like you wanted nothing to do with me. And that fucking hurt.” Her fist comes down hard on the table, it startles you, making you sit back away from where you had been leaning against the table. You cross your arms as you sit back and bow your head to stare down.
“I couldn’t ask.” It comes out quiet, from your mouth almost as if it was an accident.
“What?”
“I couldn’t ask you to fix it, it wouldn’t have been fair.” Speaking louder you bring your head back up to look at her.
Now it’s her turn to say nothing. She looks from you to where her hands sat on the table. She just waits, giving you the space to give her more information. You know you owe her the explanation, what you don’t expect is the word vomit that comes out once you start.
“I couldn’t ask you to break up with her, I couldn’t tell you I was jealous of her, I couldn’t bring myself to tell you those things, you seemed so happy with her, it wouldn’t have been fair. I had my chance for 4 years before she existed to tell you and I didn’t, but I also couldn’t stand seeing you so happy with her, it tore me apart, I wanted you to be happy and you were. It just sucked that you were happy with someone else. It sucked trying to be a supportive friend, I hated having to hear about your dates, and hearing about your first kiss, and I really hated having to hear all about the first time you two fucked.” The last word coming off with extra emphasis, the memory of her call to you after their night together briefly plays in your mind, only making you more upset.
“I hated it Jessie, but I sat through it for as long as I could because I wanted to be there for you. I wanted to be a good friend to you. I wanted to still be your best friend but I couldn’t and all I wanted was for her to no longer exist. I started to think horrible things about her and your relationship and that’s when I knew I needed to take a step back for my own health. I was no longer being a good friend to you. So I stepped back.” Your voice was loud, you were slightly out of breath barely stopping between words as you yelled across toward her, you’re not sure why you were yelling, you weren’t trying to yell at her. It wasn’t her fault she had found someone to make her happy that wasn’t you. But the past year of frustration had built and built and unfortunately this was the time the wall broke, and here you were practically shouting at Jessie across her own kitchen table.
Jessie doesn’t say anything. She stands up from the table, the sound of her chair scraping the floor was the only noise in an otherwise silent room. Grabbing her own empty plate and then extending her hand she offers to take yours. You pass it to her. She walks them over to the sink, putting them down, running the water over them. You stand up, not wanting to feel like a terrible house guest, you start packing the leftovers back up. You open the fridge door and place them inside. The water shuts off and Jessie puts the plates on a mat to dry. She walks past you, not saying anything as she moves into the living room. You hear the noise of the couch, assuming she has sat down you take a few steps toward the other room.
She’s sitting on the couch, bent over with her head in her hands. Her thumb is rubbing against her temple and she’s bouncing her knees. Leaning against the doorway you stay quiet, you feel bad for yelling at her, seeing her overwhelmed like this because of you, tugged on your heart. You wanted to rush to her side and hug her but you also knew that would probably be the worst thing you could do. You stayed put, leaned against the wall just watching her. She lets out a large breath and then sits up.
“What?”
“I didn’t,” you shake your head, not sure what she’s asking. “Nothing. I didn’t say anything.”
“I know, but you look like you want to, so what? Just say it. Don’t be a coward again.” Her words are harsh, insulting you in a way she hadn’t ever before. To be fair to her you realized you had also never yelled at her before either.
“I’m not a coward.”
“Hiding your feelings for 6 whole years, 5 of those years when we were best friends feels a little cowardly, but that’s just my opinion.” You hadn’t seen Jessie like this often, especially towards you, she was almost being mean, not caring what she said to you or how she was saying it.
“Fine, what did you say about me to her? Before you broke up, you said that you said stuff to her about me that you shouldn’t have. What did you say?” You can’t help but ask, the question of what she had said had been sitting in your brain since she mentioned it.
When Jessie doesn’t respond right away you push her. “Don’t be a coward.” You mock her tone from earlier using her own words. She rolls her eyes at you.
“She accused me of moving to try and be closer to you, she said I wanted to rekindle our relationship. And by that point I couldn’t take her nagging about you anymore and so I was honest with her. I told her the reason I had kept all of your stuff, the reason I checked up on you, the reason I would look at old photos of us, even though you didn’t care about me anymore. I had to tell her my memories of you were comforting for me.” She looks you in the eyes for a second before looking down at her hands.
“Those memories felt like home, that you felt like home. And I then had to tell her that was something I had never felt with her.”
You’re not sure how to respond, trying to process all of Jessie’s words before saying anything back to her. You move off the wall and sit down on the couch, putting some distance between where you both sat.
“Naturally, admitting having feelings for someone else to your current partner doesn’t go over well so that was the end of that.” She mumbles as you sit down.
“You have feelings for me?” Maybe you had heard her wrong, doubting that this conversation was actually happening. She slowly blinks at you.
“Did they check you for a concussion after the hit?” Her question only confuses you more.
“What?”
“Oh my god.” Jessie throws her hands up. “Yes, I have feelings for you. That’s what I just said, I just didn’t really know that they were those kinds of feelings until you stopped talking to me and I realized how important you were and that it felt like I was missing a part of me that no one besides you could fill. And then I had her, and that was fine for a little bit, but she wasn’t you.”
You have half a thought to call her out, call her a coward the way she had to you for hiding her own feelings, but decide against it.
The silence takes over the room, you’re not sure what to say to her. What do you say to someone you’ve been secretly in love with for 5 years when they finally admit they want you back? Where do you even start to make up for the time you both wasted? Where do you go from this conversation?
Thankfully you don’t have to figure it out at that moment as both your phone and Jessie’s vibrate and light up, both of you reviving the notification that the Angel City and Orlando game was set to start.
Jessie looks up from reading the notification, “Do you still want to watch the game? I understand if you don’t, I probably wouldn’t want to stay around someone who called me a coward.”
“I want to stay, if that’s okay. You can yell at me and call me whatever, but just being around you has really made me realize how much I’ve missed your company. So, I’d like to stay if you’ll let me?”
“Of course.” She reaches for the remote on her coffee table and points it toward the tv turning it on.
“Can I get that ice pack you offered earlier?” No longer caught up in the intense conversation you feel the pain from your nose starting to return in full force. Jessie tosses the tv remote in your direction and hops up from the couch immediately, rushing to her freezer. She comes back with an ice pack, a bag of frozen veggies, a towel, and a bottle of pain meds.
“Do you want to just sit and hold it or lay down? I can get you a different pillow. I brought the towel in case the direct ice is too cold. And if you want these.” She gives the bottle of medicine a shake. “I also wasn’t sure if the ice pack would sit nicely on your face so I got this.” She holds out the package of frozen vegetables to you.
“Yeah that’ll actually probably work best.” You take it from her hand. “Thanks.” You add. She placed the pain meds on the coffee table and leaves to put the other ice pack back in the freezer. You use the remote to find the game, and Jessie returns as they commentators start talking about the starting lineups for each side.
When Jessie sits down you notice she sits a lot closer to you then the two of you had been before. Your hips and thighs are only inches apart. She leans back and puts her feet up onto the table.
You both sit in what is now a more comfortable silence, watching the game. You both make comments here and there about footwork, ball movement, passes, shots, critiquing and complementing the players. At halftime Jessie stands up, takes the now thawed bag of vegetables from you and brings it back to the freezer. She comes back from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn and waters.
When she sits back down, she closes the gap between the two of you. The outside of her leg now resting against the outside of yours. She places the popcorn bowl so that it rests on both of you. Jessie leans back to rest against the back of the couch and you do the same. The game starts back up again, you both focusing your attention back to the tv.
It only takes 5 minutes into the second half for you to feel Jessie shift in her seat. She’s moving only slightly but being hyper aware that she’s pressed up against you, you can’t help but notice her movements. Your breath catches in your throat as you feel her lean her head over, placing it to rest on your shoulder, leaving her body more forcefully against yours. Your whole body tenses, not wanting to move and disturb her.
You stay like this for a couple minutes. Deciding you couldn’t let her make all the moves you glance down to see Jessie’s hands resting on top of each of her thighs. You place your own hands in the same position, then move the one closest to her, in her direction. You move just as slow as she had until your pinky finger is hovering just over hers. You slowly let your hand fall on top of hers, she doesn’t pull away, or tell you off. Instead she flips her hand so her palm is now facing up. Eager to finish what you had started you now quickly move your hand, interlocking your fingers with hers. You wait a minute, then let the pad of your thumb gently rub against her thumb.
You stayed in that position, holding her hand, her head resting on your shoulder as the two of you watched the remainder of the game. Wanting more time with Jessie you desperately were hoping for an insane amount of added time, unfortunately only 3 minutes are added and the game is quick to end.
Jessie pulls her head off your shoulder, sitting up with a yawn.
“I should probably get back.” You say, realizing it was nearing 9pm and while you didn’t have a curfew, you still didn’t want to be caught coming back too late by any of your teammates knowing you’d never hear the end of it, especially since they knew you were at Jessie's.
“Right.” Jessie stands up from the couch and flips a light on. The sun had gone down as you watched the game and the two of you were in the dark without the light from the tv. She holds her hand out to you, you take it and stand up. You quickly pull out your phone and order an Uber, thankful you were in a larger city and your ride would be here in less than 5 minutes. You move toward the door, bending down to slip your shoes on before standing up facing Jessie.
“It feels weird to say that I had a really good time tonight with all the yelling that happened, but I did. I had a really good time with you Jessie.” You smile at her.
“I had a good time too, this was nice. I’ve missed you.” She replies to you. She holds her arms out to you, offering a hug. You take a step toward her, leaning in to wrap your arms around her waist as she places hers on your shoulders. You stay hugging, longer than a normal friend’s goodbye hug would be. You both release the hold on each other but you don’t move back from her. You stay face to face, your eyes staring back at her brown ones.
Much to your surprise Jessie is the one who makes the move. One of her hands comes up to your cheek, her fingers are warm and soft on your skin. Her eyes break contact with yours dropping to your lips quickly and then back up. She starts to lean in but stops just moments before your lips would connect.
“Is this okay?” Her voice is barely audible, quieter than a whisper.
“Yes.” Before you have a second to think about kissing her it’s already happening. It’s a gentle kiss, her lips just placed on top of yours. She starts to pull away a second later, but you let your head chase her lips, giving her a bit more forceful of a kiss. In doing so, you bump your nose against hers causing you to pull back quickly from her, hand coming to clutch your nose.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry I forgot about your nose.” Jessie’s eyes are wide as her hand comes to rest on the forearm of the hand holding your face.
“It’s okay Jess, that was my fault, I forgot too for a second.” You wipe your hand under your nose and look down at your fingers making sure you’re not bleeding again. “It’s not crooked or anything right?”
“No, but those black eyes are starting to come in.” Her eyes dart between both of yours. You both let out a small laugh and then are left in silence.
“I’d like to take you out sometime, on a proper date, if you’d want that?” You look at her hopeful she’ll want to continue whatever the two of you started.
“I do, I want that.” She smiles back at you, you let out a sigh of relief.
“Okay.” You can’t help but smile big back at her.
“Okay.” She just repeats your words.
“I should be going.” You repeat your words from earlier, you knew you had to go, you just didn’t want to.
Jessie moves her hand from your forearm up to your face to grab your chin. You think for a second she’s going to kiss you again but then she’s pushing your head away from her and to the side. She moves in and places her lips on your cheek.
“Once your nose is healed you can have more on the lips.”  She says teasingly. The gentle gesture has you blushing more than the kisses to your lips did. She releases your face and you see her eyes look at your cheeks, the blush growing. You turn quickly facing the door, grabbing the handle and stepping out.
“Goodnight Jessie.”

Tumblr media
“Honestly, the hardest part is gonna be security, all right? So most of the guys are gonna be at the rail yard” JJ states.
“Alright so, we'll need to find some place and guard it, maybe a little further down the line, like a whistle-stop” Pope responds.
“Yeah” Kiara agrees with the pair.
“You guys are getting ahead of yourselves, per usual. We don't have a way to transport the cross. What you think? On JJ's motorcycle?” Cleo says sarcastically.
“That's not my fault. Alright, all me” JJ responds to her.
“Okay, so other options…” Pope starts before Sarah interrupts him.
“Oh my god”
“Oh my god what?” Cleo asks.
“What” I ask and she points towards some behind me, on the top floor of the bar we’re in. We all turn around to the direction she’s pointing at and we see Topper talking with one of his friends.
“Oh god” I cringe and I lower a little on the chair I’m sited on, trying to avoid him seeing me. Topper was my ex-boyfriend before I left him for JJ. To this day he keeps texting me every day and calling every now and then, he truly didn’t know how to take a hint.
“Is that topper?” Pope asks and JJ rolls his eyes.
“Yup” Sarah answers.
“Why is he like, everywhere?” JJ says.
“Maybe he’s following you” Kiara tells me joking.
“Perfect. Hey, Sarah.” Pope starts.
“What?”
“I bet you topper has a way of transport the cross” he suggests.
“Actually pope's right. He does have a rig” she confirms.
“No” I say already knowing where they’re going with this.
“Yes”
“No, absolutely not”
“Yes, come on, you already got him whipped anyway so why don't you just take one for the team?” Sarah suggests.
“Wait, tell me you’re not suggesting what I think you are” JJ speaks.
“She could flirt with Topper a bit so he would give us his truck to transport the cross” Sarah confirms and he clenches his jaw in frustration.
“Come on JJ, you know it would work” Kiara tell him.
“Why does she have to be the one doing it?” he complains.
“He’s not gonna agree if we ask him, but if she does...”
“Sarah said it, she’s got him whipped, not us” Kiara explains.
“What do you say?” you ask him.
“I’m not really excited about the idea of my girlfriend flirting with another guy who’s literally in love with her” he jumps.
“I thought you would understand. Think about the circumstances, it’s about the treasure” Pope tells him.
“We can handle JJ, just go talk to him” Kiara says to you.
And as you go up the stairs and greet Topper, they all stay at the bottom of the stairs, close enough to watch but not so close that Topper would see them.
“I can’t watch this” JJ starts, “Actually I have to watch so I can go break his nose if he oversteps”
“Shut up and pay attention” Kiara demands.
“I just can't believe you're here, I texted and called. How are you? You okay?” Topper says.
“You know, Top, things are a little tough right now” you answer.
“Yeah, tough how?” he asks. You look over his shoulder to see your friends watching expectantly the scene. JJ has a straight face, clearly not enjoying this, you weren’t either.
“We’ve been after this… family heirloom of Pope’s which is why we were gone and we ended up losing it, and unbelievably there might be a chance that we could get it back tonight, in Wilmington” you start explaining and he looks at you with all of his attention nodding at every word you say.
“Okay, how can I help?”
“No, I can’t ask you to do that” you play dumb a little so it wouldn’t be too obvious why you were here.
“No, seriously”
“Topper, I feel like if I ask you I'd be- I don’t know, it’s just- you're such a giver, Topper, you're such a helper”
“That's just how I am, that's just the way I was raised. And either way, remember when I said I would do literally anything for you? Remember that?” he says.
“Yeah”
“I meant it” he says confidently and you start to feel bad about taking advantage of him. You look over his shoulder again at the group where you see JJ signalling you to hurry up. “When I say something I mean it”
“We could… really use your truck” you finally ask.
“My dad's truck? Oh my god, he would literally kill me, he’s like super careful with it"
“So are we, we're super careful”
JJ grimaces in annoyance at her.
“We’ll take such good care of it”
“You put me in a tough spot, I- I know I said I would do anything but…” he hesitates so I move closer to him, start caressing his shoulder softly and we share an intense look where I try to hide my fear of him trying to kiss me, or JJ having enough of this and punching him for getting too close. Or both, really.
“I'm so sorry about everything. I totally understand, you have no reason to help us” I play dumb again.
“Why do I feel like I'll regret this?” he says with a smile. I give him a big smile and hug him excitedly. I can see the guys celebrating quietly and JJ rolls his eyes and shakes his head trying (and failing) to hide his smile.
After arranging the plan right we all go to our places. I go with Topper and Sarah on the truck, JJ and Kie go on his motorcycle and Pope with Cleo go on the train.
Before getting in the car, JJ, Sarah, Kie and I wait for Pope to give us the signal that he is on the train.
“What’s taking him so long?” Sarah complains. We can see Topper pacing around the truck nervously, JJ gives me a look making fun of him and we both laugh. A few minutes later we see Pope up on the train and giving us the signal to move to the next part of the plan. JJ gives him a thumbs up.
“That’s it, we’re green” Kie confirms and then suddenly we hear the train horn blaring.
“What's happening” I ask confused.
“You hear that?” JJ asks too and we can hear brakes hissing and metal clanks
"Train's moving, train's moving" JJ confirms now.
“Shit, shit”
“Hurry up”
I run to the truck. “Hey” Topper says nervously.
“Do you have jumper cables in there?” I ask him.
“Do you have an idea that I am here involved in illegal activities?”
“I'm not even close to being okay with this”
"It’s not that illegal"
"Okay"
“Jumper cables? What are we- what we doing with these?”
"Topper, if you don't wanna go, its fine. We’ll take the truck"
The rest of the guys show up behind us.
“Hey, I just wanna make sure everyone here is okay ending up in federal prison” Topper says.
“If it gets to that, yeah, I'll do it for pope” JJ responds and I laugh with him. I get the cables from the truck and give them to JJ, he looks at me as if he’s asking me if I’m ready, and I nod at him.
After JJ and Kie get the traffic-lights to go red, the train is stopping. That’s our signal to drive to the train.
"What the hell are we doing right now, this is ridiculous" Topper complains. And then we get next to the door where pope was signalling us to park next to.
"Right here" Sarah and I go out of the car and up the train to help. "How’s it looking?"
“Still searching” Cleo tells us.
“You see it?” Pope asks her.
“Hey, this one says Cameron” she answers.
“This is it, this is the cross, this is it!” he jumps exited.
“Hey, hey, what are we doing here?” Topper shows up and asks us.
“We'll put this in your truck bed”
“That's gonna scratch the paint!”
“No, no, it's fine” I say even though I have no idea.
“You’ll be able to get a thousand paint jobs after we do this” Pope tells him.
“This thing right here?” he asks.
“Just help us spot it”
We start moving the heavy box with the cross in it towards the car.
“Topper help me!” I shout.
“Just push it this way, my dad's gonna kill me” he complains.
“Guide it, hurry up, let's go”
“Don't mess up the cross” Pope warns.
“Don't mess up the truck” Topper warns too.
“Stop! Hey, stop!” we hear an officer shout at us.
“Shit, we gotta go”
“Hold it right there!” He shouts again.
“Cops! Come on”
“The cops are coming, let's go!” We get the box on the truck and we get in the car.
“Push it, Chewie!” Pope yells from the back.
“Go!” Sarah tells him. He starts driving.
“How the hell can you live like this? You come from a good family” Topper tells me.
“Just drive!” I respond. He drives and passes the train.
“We got somebody on us” Topper warns.
“That’s JJ and Kie” Sarah confirms. JJ moves the motorcycle right next to the car.
“JJ! What is he doing?!” he asks me.
“I don't know” I say.
“Topper, keep going straight!” JJ shouts.
“Y'all be careful. Alright?”
“Topper hold it steady” I say.
“I'm trying!”
We see Kiara getting up on the bike and Pope trying to grab her.
"Kie! What are you doing?!" She jumps into the truck and Pope grabs her.
“Oh shit”
“Oh my god”
“Are you good? Did she-did she make it?” Top asks. I nod not being able to get words out from the adrenaline mixed with fear. I see JJ stopping the bike behind us, in front of the police car.
“Okay. Maybe he's just trying to get rid of the cops” Topper comments.
I can't take my eyes off of him, fearing his impulses until he throws a rock at the police car braking the window.
"He did it! They’re chasing him!" Pope shouts.
“Topper stop! Stop the truck” I ask him.
“I'm not stopping the truck”
The guys shout at him to stop the truck.
“We're going to get JJ!”
“Come on man!”
“I'm not going to jail for him, no chance!” He shakes his head.
“Stop the truck, please” I ask him quietly, my voice breaking. He sees the fear on my face and he agrees.
“All right, all right, damn it”
“Turn around”
“I'm not- I'm not going to jail”
“Topper look at me. They’re gonna arrest him, we can't leave him behind”
“Damn him, damn” He turns around and drives.
“Go faster, you need to go faster”
“I'm trying, I'm risking my whole life for this shit”
“It’s gonna be fine”
“Turn left!” Pope directs.
“No! I'm getting out of here” he states.
“Topper!” I take the steering weal off of him and turn it left.
“No way, he's up on the overpass” Sarah says and the next thing we see is the motorcycle falling off of the overpass right in front of us, getting absolutely destroyed. We all gasp we get out of the truck to run and look for him.
“J!” I say panting, “J! Where is he?!”
“Shit!”
“no, no, no, no”
“JJ?!”
I start crying. “Where is he?”
“Maybe he's up on the bridge” pope suggests.
“No, no, no” I start sobbing.
“I wish I could say I did that on purpose,” I hear his voice behind me. I get up and he looks right at me. “But that was the gnarliest power-slide I’ve ever done”
“You're alive!!” Pope shouts and hugs him. “Dude!”
“I know, I'm surprised too”
“Shit that was gnarly” Topper says.
Sarah pushes him and starts hitting him on the chest “Oh Jesus, Oh God” he complains. She hugs him tight. Kie goes after her and warns him that’s she’s going to kill him while she hugs him too.
“This is really nice and all but we should really get out of here” Cleo says.
“Yeah, yeah, let's roll” Topper agrees.
I don’t listen to them, I look at JJ with tears falling from my eyes still, I get closer to him and he looks at me waiting for my reaction.
“Don’t... don't ever do that again” he manage to say. He lowers his head without his eyes off of mine, his hands come to my waist but before he could get any closer we hear a cop shouting down at us.
“Hey, hey you kids don't move”
He grabs me and we start running to the truck.
“Stay right there! I said stay right there!” the officer shouts again. We get on the car quickly and Topper starts driving getting us out of there. Later we realized it was all for fucking nothing because the cross was fake, there wasn't any cross on the box.
After reassuring Pope that we will find the real one and thanking Topper, JJ and I go to my house where I sit on my bed grabbing my head trying to process everything that just happened.
JJ moves around my bedroom doing the same. “You realize it was all for fucking nothing, you- you had to flirt- I had to watch you flirt with that idiot for fucking nothing” he complains. I look at him as if he’s crazy.
“You do realize I thought you fucking died for a minute there, and all of that was for nothing too. I don’t fucking care about Topper! I thought I lost you, JJ!”
“Okay, okay. I’m sorry baby, I got down there as fast as I could and then everybody started hugging me and I just wanted to get to you, and then that fucking cop came. I’m sorry, I’m sorry it all happened that way” he hold me tight. “I love you, I’m sorry”
“I love you, I don’t know what I would have done without you” you try not to cry all over again.
“I’m fine, okay?” he asks and I nod, he kisses me and the rest of our night goes on holding each other tight as if it was the last time. Luckily, it wasn’t.

Trains are the original self-driving cars. They go on special roads, and you don't have to pay attention to what's going on. In some countries, you get to finish reading your pocket novel, get up from your seat, walk to a bar, and start getting completely ass-hammered drunk, while still arriving on time. That's what futurists want, and by golly, we're not going to give it to them.
Me, I at least try to be a bit internally consistent with my criticism of other things. Review it fairly, using a set of agreed-upon quantitative criteria. You can do a burnout in a train, so that's a big plus. Powerslides, not so much. Curvy mountain roads? Yes. Four wheel drive? I have absolutely no idea, so let's say yes. Boxy, has a 1970s aesthetic, and smells bad? You bet. On the balance, trains are pretty close to my ideal vehicle, but you're not working to convince me. You're working to convince The Decision Makers.
Why? Think about it: at what point in your life did the obviously superior and cheaper alternative win out over the messy one? I don't think that I have ever seen such a thing occur, and I have been around long enough to remember when people weren't openly mocked in public for Ford ownership. Folks get a little upset that the train doesn't go exactly where they want, and suddenly it's an infeasible transport device.
That's why I've got a really good idea. You see, the railways have these special trucks that go on the tracks. Those trucks have little wheels that pop out and run on the tracks, and when it's time for them to do regular-truck stuff, they pop the wheels back up and drive wherever they want. So let's do that for every car, and just call the railways "ultra-glide high-speed superways" or something stupid like that. It'll be really popular, so popular that we'll need to build more tracks so that we're not constantly waiting for assholes to clear the switching yard on our way to the grocery store.
When the entire world is consumed by railway tracks and a million idiots screaming down them while sawing uselessly at their steering wheels, you can thank me profusely. I didn't do anything other than follow the path set out in front of me.

My Little Secret
Tumblr media

*Not Proof Read*
Note: Eddie and reader are the same age. Pretend he wasn't held back. Whole thing with Chrissy hasn't happened. Doesn't specify gender.
Stranger Things Masterlist
*****
Well this is perfect.
I stare down at the little while bar in my hands. Two thin likes stare back, mocking my mixed emotions.
What the fuck am I going to do? I shouldn't have let things go so far at Steve's party. I knew the fucking risk. How could this happen? I didn't think this would happen. What am I going to do?
What am I going to tell Eddie?
He doesn't want a kid...not now anyway. Fuck, this messes up everything. We can't afford a baby. How are we going to take care of it?
I begin to pace in the cramped bathroom. With every moment that passes, the room begins to feel more and more cramped, claustrophobic.
A thumping sound bounces off the walls from outside. Eddie's home.
Eddie's van shuts off with one last whine, the door shutting shortly after. I hear the keys jingle as he tries to open the front door of his trailer. " Babe? Ya here? "
I don't respond. I quickly grab the box the pregnancy came in and hide it at the bottom of the garbage can. I need to figure something out. I can't tell Eddie.
A knock breaks me out of my thoughts. I turn on the water, quickly washing my hands, hoping to relieve some of the nerves.
" Y/N? Why didn't you answer, babe. I thought you were still at work or something. " Eddie asks. " You feelin' okay? "
I swing open the door, pulling a smile onto my face. " Yeah, perfect. Just...lost in thought. " I push past Eddie, doing my best to act normal.
I'll figure this out. I have to.
Eddie raises an eyebrow, not completely believing me. " Okay...Do you want to watch a movie? I can order a pizza. " He offers, trailing after me.
I walk around the counter, picking my worn jacket and backpack up. " I actually, have to head out. My mom um needs help with the yard. " I lie.
A look of confusion flashes on Eddie's face. " Oh, okay...maybe another time? "
I nod stiffly. " Of course, Eds. You know how much I love our movie nights. "
I head towards the door.
" Do you want a ride? It's getting a little cold out. " Eddie offers, pulling on his jacket.
I shake my head. " I'm fine. A little fresh air never hurt anyone. " I attempt to joke.
I just need to get out of here. I feel like I'm suffocating.
Eddie looks unsure. " Are you sure? I really don't mind driving you. I don't want you to get hurt. "
" Eddie, I'm fine. " I insist. " It's only a few blocks away. Nothing is going to happen to me. "
Eddie follows me to the door. " Okay, okay. Just...call me when you get home, yeah? Just so I feel better. "
" Of course. " I pat his arm instead of our usual goodbye kiss. I don't hesitate to step outside. The chilly wind sends a shiver through my body, but I quickly ignore it. I need some time to think. I can't do that if Eddie's talking to me the entire ride home. Plus he'll see my mom's not home.
I feel Eddie's gaze follow me down the street, obviously worried about me. As soon as I turn the corner I feel a sigh of relief escape my lips.
I will be okay. I have to be.
______
I've been avoiding Eddie. I feel like he knows. Like he can read me. He hasn't said anything, but the more I'm with him the more tempted I am to tell him. I'm scared. I don't know how to do this. I haven't even told my mom.
Fuck, she'd kill me. She's warned me about this ever since I started dating Eddie years ago. Why didn't I listen?
All it takes is one time, she'd insist. One time.
She'd never let me forget this. I can already see the look of disappointment on her face. She already doesn't like Eddie. Knowing he's the father would definitely make things worse.
" Okay, what's going on with you. "
Eddie's voice asks sternly as he slides into an empty chair next to me.
The library is empty except for the older librarian shelving books in the corner. Everyone's gone home for the day, leaving the room absolutely quiet.
I raise my eyes to meet Eddie's concerned ones. " What? " I ask in surprise, not expecting him to be here. I thought he had a meeting right now.
" Why have you been avoiding me? " He asks. Desperation peaks through his steady voice. " What did I do? " He reaches to grab my pencil clad hand.
I tense slightly. " Nothing. You didn't do anything, Eddie. " I mutter, looking down at my science home work.
" Then why won't you look at me? You've blown me off all week, what's going on? Please, just tell me what I did and how I can fix it. I miss you. " His tone is genuine. Worry is laced through his features.
I clench my jaw, sadness clustering in my throat. " Eddie, I swear, you didn't do anything wrong. I've just been...busy. I have a lot of tests coming up. " Not a lie. The amount of tests this week on top of the news of the baby has been stressing me out. I hardly have time to sleep, I spend most of my time studying and stressing over what to do.
Eddie scans my face for a sign of a lie. " Look, I don't think I believe that's all. When you're ready to talk about it, you know where to find me. " Eddie pulls his hand away from mine, the warmth of his skin quickly being replaced by the the cold air. He stands up, ready to leave.
" Eddie..." I start, unsure what to say.
Eddie turns back to me, hope in his eyes. He waits for me to say something.
I don't.
" I'm sorry. " I whisper.
Eddie nods, turning back around. " I'm sorry too. For whatever I did. " With that he leaves. His steady footsteps disappear into the hallway. His expression burns into my mind. Sadness, slight frustration.
I didn't mean to make him feel this way. I just don't know what to do.
With a sigh I glance down at my stomach. I haven't begun to show yet, thankfully. I have no idea what I'm going to do when I start. I can only wear baggy clothing for so long. It's getting harder and harder to hide the morning sickness. With only one bathroom, my mom's bound to find out sometime.
I'm so scared.
______
A loud knock pulls me from the laundry. I leave my spot on the couch. Rain pounds on the front glass windows, blocking my view from outside.
Who the hell would be out here in weather like this?
I open the door, fully ready to tell the person to fuck off.
I'm met with the sight of a drenched Eddie. His eyebrows twisted in anger and frustration. He's soaked from head to door, water pooling at the bottom of his sneakers. In his hand is a familiar pink box, bold lettering smudged from the water.
The test.
" I can explain- " I begin, my heart pounding in fear.
He found it.
" Why the hell didn't you tell me. " Eddie cuts me off, his fist tightly around the now squished box. Water's soaked through the thin cardboard, turning it to near mush. He pushes past me, into the quiet house.
" Eddie...I...I'm so sorry. " Tears sting the back of my eyes. " I...I don't know what to say. "
Eddie's anger seems to twist into frustration. " Why didn't you tell me, y/n. " He repeats.
" I was scared. " I close the door, leaning against it for support. All the harbored stress and fear comes barreling out. My fluctuating hormones feed the fire, making everything fucking worse. " How did you find it? "
I know how he found it. I should've hid it fucking better.
" I was taking out the trash when I heard a rattle. I figured you might have dropped something in it and I pulled it out. That's beside the point, Y/N. You kept this from me. When were you planning of fucking telling me? " Eddie's voice is still strong with frustration as he paces around the hall.
" I was going to- " I begin.
" When?! You don't talk to me anymore, when the fuck were you going to tell me? I shouldn't have to find out like this. "
He's right. I should have told him.
Eddie's eyes snap towards me. His expression seems to soften when he realizes I'm crying. " Fuck. " He breathes out, putting his fingers tightly on the bridge of his nose. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm down. " I'm sorry. " He says slightly calmer. " I shouldn't have yelled at you. Fuck, I'm a horrible person. Who the fuck screams at their pregnant partner? " He clenches his jaw in frustration.
" No. " I shake my head, trying to push past my emotions. " You're not at fault here. I should've told you. You deserved to know. " I take a breath. " I was a coward. Eddie...I was scared of what would happen. To us, to the baby...with my mom. I was scared you wouldn't want the baby....wouldn't want me. "
Eddie's eyes open to look at me. " You were scared of me? Of us? Y/N, what did you think I was going to do? I love you, fuck you're the first person I've ever loved this much. " He admits. He takes a step towards me. Dripping strands of hair frame the sides of his face. " You couldn't do anything to make me stop loving you. I will always be there for you, no matter what. You didn't get pregnant alone, Y/N. In case you forgot, it takes two to make a baby. I'm as responsible for the baby as you are. You didn't need to keep this to yourself. "
I don't say anything.
He's right. Deep down I knew he'd still be there for me. I guess I was just afraid of what would happen if I wasn't right.
Eddie grabs my hand. " I love you and I love this baby. Nothing will ever stop that. I hate that you felt alone this entire time. That you where scared of what I would do. I never wanted you to feel like that. I'm so fucking sorry, Y/N. "
I hug him tightly, not caring about the water soaking in my pj's. " I'm sorry for not telling you. I...I shouldn't have doubted you. "
Eddie hugs me back. " We need to talk about this. "
" Yeah. " I nod, pulling my head away from his warm chest. " We do. "
--------
Eddie finishes drying the ends of his curly hair before speaking. " What should we do. "
" I have no idea. " I sigh. " My mom's going to kill me. " I begin to feel tears well in the back of my eyes. " She'll throw me out, I fucking know it. "
Eddie pulls me into his side. " Hey, hey. It's going to be okay. No matter what, I'll be right by your side when she finds out. We'll tell her together. You can...you can live with me. "
I shake my head. " I can't do that, Eddie. I can't do that to Wayne. He already sleeps on the couch. I don't want him to have to deal with a crying baby at all hours of the night. That's not fair to him. "
" Then we'll find a place to be together. I'm not letting you go homeless, Y/N. I'll-I'll get another job. The diner on Corner street is hiring. I can find a place for us before the baby...and Mrs. Thomas is selling her daughters' old crib, I'm sure she'll sell it to us for a decent price! I can sell my guitar and-"
" Eddie...no. " I put my hand on his arm. " That guitar means everything to you. You can't sell it. Plus, we're still in school. How the hell are you going to manage 2 jobs and school? "
Eddie's expression is serious. " YOU mean everything to me. This baby....it means everything to me. I'll do whatever I have to so you and this baby have a safe place to live. I can get my GED. We'll be okay. " Eddie's thumb traces circles on my thigh, an attempt to calm me down.
I know the argument is useless. Once he makes up his mind, it's set. " Don't do anything yet. We don't know what's going to happen. Let's just take this one day at a time. "
Eddie nods. " When are you going to tell your mom? "
" Tomorrow. I'll tell her tomorrow. " She's going to find out some day, and I'd rather it be from me.
Tomorrow it is.

imagine eddie plus amazon position
Took some creative liberties with the position, but it worked out in the end (I hope)!
Note: this is filth, again. Also, it's kinda long....

You were used to Eddie suggesting some adventurous stuff to try out during sex. He thought you didn’t know about the Heavy Metal magazines stuffed under his bed.
But you’d seen it all. Robots, monsters, aliens, the whole nine yards - all surprisingly well illustrated. There was one issue that had a woman and a tentacle monster-thing which probably shouldn’t have had you nodding while reading it, but oh well.
So, when Eddie suggested the unfamiliar position to you, he also had a visual aid to help win you over. The man was on his back with his head thrown back, flushed neck bared to the woman on top of him. His eyes were rolling back into his skull as sound effects indicated the pace and sounds coming from their fucking. His knees were pulled tightly into his sweating chest while the woman - who looked suspiciously similar to you - rode his cock until they were both delirious and panting like animals in heat.
-
"God fu-fucking damn it. Babe, c'mon, please."
"You're doing so good, though. Just need to get you a little more warmed up, okay?" You sang, using your own legs to keep Eddie's spread wide. Your hands were covered in lube that was originally cold, sliding and stroking Eddie's cock. He had been whining for the last fifteen minutes - not above begging you to sit on his dick. But that wasn't the deal. If he wanted you in the position he asked for, then he was going to have to work a little harder for it.
The slick squelching from Eddie fucking your hands was obscene and so loud. It mixed with the hot panting of your breath and the string of groans and curses from him. Eddie had taken to throwing one arm over his eyes because if he looked down at you, the fun would be over within seconds.
You liked that you had such an effect on him; there was something intimate yet animalistic about it. You craved it in a similar way that he craved you. Most of the time, Eddie chased your orgasm before his own. Huffing filthy promises and praise while pulling your legs onto his shoulders and grinning as you gripped the sheets with white knuckles. But sometimes, he wanted to be roughed up a little. Brought to the precipice of release, only to be held there for as long as you saw fit.
“You’re making the sheets all wet.” You observed through heavy-lidded eyes. Eddie was an absolute fucking mess. His thick cock was glistening in the low light of his room while his balls were sticky and heavy. You had to stamp down the urge to let him fuck your mouth and empty himself down your throat. But you had agreed to ride him - or rather, fuck yourself on him.
“I can fucking hear it.” Eddie groaned, moving his arm from his eyes as he glanced downwards. “Christ, fuck, aren’t you done yet?” His face had such a pretty rosy flush to it.
“Wanna make you feel extra special tonight.” You hummed. His eyes were boring into your skull; you could almost feel the fire of his gaze. You knew you were pushing your luck, but it was too fun to pass up.
Eddie’s reaction time was always a little too good when he had a set goal. He sat up on one shakey elbow and grabbed the back of your head, bringing your face mere centimetres from his. Eddie was staring at you, unblinking like you were the only thing in the entire world - and he wanted it so bad.
“You’re done. Now.” Eddie smirked with clenched teeth.
The fact that he still had enough brain power to talk was impressive. Additionally, the grip he had on your hair, keeping your head in place, was making you sweat and squirm.
“I’m gonna lie back, you’re gonna sit all pretty on my dick, and then you can go back to being in charge. Got it?” Eddie always knew just the right thing to say. He knew you almost too well, knew just how to make you melt. The guy was in love; it looked good on him.
You returned his smirk with a giddy smile and an enthusiastic nod. Eddie got himself comfortable again, arranging himself with his legs nearly to his chest.
You had to wonder if this is what he liked so much about you in that position. The unrestricted view of everything, the heat of seeing vulnerability. The trust of it all was sort of heartwarming. Putting aside the fact that Eddie had gotten this idea from a porno comic.
His swollen, slick cock twitched as you got yourself comfortable, placing your hands on the backs of Eddie’s thighs. Teasing the leaking tip against your clit was a sweet relief. Finally, you got some of the friction. A guttural moan fell from your lips as you watched the head slip into your cunt.
Sharp nails dug into Eddie’s legs as you firmly sat on his cock. “You’re so fucking deep like this.” You sighed, the stretch of him finally settling into your drooling cunt.
“You love it deep, huh?” Eddie groaned, the sweet relief of finally being inside you washing over him in waves. One of his hands gripped your ass, helping you keep balance while also massaging the fat. “Sh-shit even brought the nails out and everything. You sit there for just a little longer, ‘kay?”
A noise between a moan and a shriek rolled from your throat as Eddie started toying with your clit. He alternated between slow circles, quick slaps, and slippery flicks. The mix of your wet, the lube and his precum creamed at the base of Eddie’s cock - the squelching of it becoming even messier.
“This isn’t supposed to be about me.” You whined, head rolling to one side as a particularly harsh flick made you keen.
“Well, this part is. So, keep screaming.” Eddie moaned, slapping at your soaked cunt when you tried to move your hips on him.
You had a feeling that this night would be a “fight for the upper hand” sort of night. Those happened sometimes when you were both in a sort of feral mood, and both wanted to be on top. Eddie never let sex just be about him, even for a minute or two.
So, you would need to put him in his place. Like he wanted since his knees were nearly crushed to his sweaty chest. The demon head tattoo staring at you only spurred you on more.
Your nails returned to digging into the backs of Eddie’s thighs - catching him off guard and making a small line of drool leave his lips. The grinding of your hips got harder as you massaged your g-spot with his cock.
“Know what? This is about me - god, fuck - hold still for me.”
Eddie’s wet fingers were still on your clit, but only applied pressure for you to move on. His moans had returned to being closer to whines as he stared at you fucking yourself. He wouldn’t be able to thrust up at all from the position he was in. He was at your mercy, and he loved it.
“Yeah, yeah, fuck yes.” Eddie chanted, his bottom lip slipping between his teeth. “Your pussy feels so fucking - oh god, oh god.”
You were shifting between grinding and bouncing now. The sopping drag of Eddie’s cock was simultaneously too much and not enough. “What was that? My pussy feels what?” You groaned, trying to keep your voice somewhat stern and even.
“So fucking wet, and messy, and - and, Jesus.” Eddie slurred. He felt like he was losing his mind. The tension in his thighs, your nails dragging on his skin and the creamy warmth of your cunt. It was all driving him up the wall as his heart started to hammer.
“We’re gonna make a mess together,” you purred, legs beginning to shake. “You can cum deep, yeah? Can you do that for me, Eddie?”
“Uh-huh,” Eddie whined, his hair stuck to his face with sweat. “Anything you want, baby. Anything.”
You grinned, grinding faster and harder until the mattress started to creak. The circles of your hips were messy, but it didn’t matter anymore. The man under you looked like a wreck in the best way possible. He was struggling to keep his eyes from rolling back; beads of sweat were rolling down his neck, and the noises. The noises were a mixture of grunts and moans as he clumsily played with your clit and tried to hold off cumming before you. After a few grounding breaths, Eddie kicked himself into high gear again.
“You love this, don't ya?” He panted, doubling down on the rough circles to your sticky clit. “Just been waiting to get back on top of me and losing your fucking mind.”
“Just promise you’ll cum with me.” Your voice was hoarse and whimpering. The sweet relief was so close; you just needed Eddie to keep talking. “Promise me, Eddie.”
“Promise. God, fuck - I promise.”
Eddie started to moan and laugh up at you - it wasn’t mocking laughter, he was just having a really good time. The hand massaging your ass moved to deliver a sharp smack to the already raw skin - his laughter getting louder when you whined. You retaliate by scratching your nails down his thighs again, making him shiver and his cock twitch inside you.
The push and pull continued for who knows how long. It could have been seconds; it could have been minutes. A smack was met with a scratch, and a whine was met with a shiver. Both of you were soaked, and the slick noises were just so right.
Your knees almost gave out, “I’m gonna cum, Eddie, c’mon, c’mon.” You babbled, slamming your cunt down onto his cock. Your orgasm ripped through you in an instant, jaw hanging open and a low scream filling the dim bedroom.
“‘Atta girl.” Eddie slurred, his voice melting into a series of groans of ‘fuck’ as he emptied himself inside your hot, slick walls. His grip on your ass was definitely going to leave handprints, but that just made it all the better.

Part 3 - Part 5
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You wrapped William’s sweatshirt tightly around you as your bare feet padded out onto the porch. You can’t help but smile as you see a familiar head of curly black hair jump out of the driver's seat, Sarah Emily waving excitedly at you from the passenger seat. Your husband’s arm wraps around your shoulder. “You didn’t tell me you invited Henry over.” You tut, a smile pulling at the corners of your lips.
“I figured you and Sarah could use some girl time.” He chuckles before directing his attention across the yard where Henry was opening up the bed of his truck. “Plus, they’ve brought a surprise for you.” He gives you an excited, lopsided grin before he scoops you up in his arms. You let out a startled shriek that quickly faded into laughter as William spun you around with him. He carried you off the porch, your feet bouncing in the chilly afternoon air with every step. Sarah pushes open her door, scooting over so William can toss you into the cab, you giggled as you bounced on the worn seat. She pulls you into a tight hug.
“How are you sweetpea?” She asks as she squeezes all the air from your lungs. Both of you laugh as you hear your husbands already beginning to argue over whatever task they had joined forces to complete.
Some things never change.” You roll your eyes, shaking your head as a playful smile spreads across your lips.
Sarah laughs in response before leaning closer to you. “So, I was thinking. You go get dressed, we go get our nails done, Henry already said he would stay and help Will here. And maybe, if you're feeling bad, we could swing by some stores and pick up a little… surprise, to show our husbands how much we appreciate their hard work.”
You point an accusatory finger at her, “what did he say to you?” Your eyes narrow as you wait for her confession.
“Nothing!” She exclaims. “You may be moving into your new house but this is the first vacation you and William have taken since your honeymoon! You deserve to relax and have some fun, you shouldn't be working your ass off the entire time.”
“Who says I'm not having fun? Last night was definitely fun, I can assure you of that.” She gasps at your implication, lightly slapping your arm in excitement.
“You have to tell me everything.” She nods in the direction of the door, you turn to find a smiling William, his arm resting on the top of the opening as he leaned into the cab.
“You two come up with a plan?” He grins at you.
“Yes, we have. But, first things first, you need to get this poor girl inside before she freezes.” Sarah orders, making you chuckle.
“Yes ma'am.” He groans, scooping you up in his arms before carrying you back to the house. “You look excited, you must be going to do something fun.”
“We're going to get our nails done.” You explain, immediately wrapping your arms around his middle and cuddling into his warmth as he sets you down on the porch. “Maybe I'll grab you something special while we’re out.” You hint with a wink. William stoops down, his warm breath against your cheek making you shiver slightly.
“The only thing I'd like is for you to be naked in this bed after I'm done building it.” Your eyes snap to him as you realized what he meant by the fact that Henry and Sarah had brought you a surprise.
“You already got a bed frame?” He nods in response, making you squeak in excitement. “Oh, honey, thank you.” He chuckles as he feels your arms tighten around him.
“It was no trouble bunny, I just want to see my girl happy.” He rests a hand on the top of your head, ruffling your hair slightly as you press a kiss to his chest.
“Gross, get a room!” You hear Henry bellow from his truck. William rolls his eyes in response to his friend's comment, one hand tangling in your hair as the other wraps around your waist. He pulls you to him, kissing you with a mind numbing intensity that nearly caused your knees to give out. As his lips separated from yours you felt utterly breathless and a little lightheaded, something you could tell William realized from the subtle smirk on his face. “Why don't you start giving Sarah the grand tour while I help Henry bring the bed inside?” He places one final chaste kiss to your lips before bounding back down the front steps.
Sarah gives you a knowing smile as she joins you on the porch. “The second he and I leave tonight William's going to be all over you, mark my words.” You chuckle as you motion for her to follow you inside. You paused in front of the window as the two of you ended up in your bedroom, both of you looking outside to the performance your husbands were putting on. Henry stood in the bed of his truck, his arms spread wide as the two of them argued back and forth. He made a broad motion to all of the parts of the bedframe and then began wildly gesturing to the house. William stood on the ground facing the much more excitable man, one hand on his hip and the other pushing up his glasses to massage the bridge of his nose. Both of William’s hands snap in front of him, making a motion that made you assume he had told Henry to stop talking. Sarah laughs from her position perched next to you.
“Do you think today might be the day they finally kill each other?” You ask with a brief glance over at her.
“I guess you never know, I'm surprised they made it this long.” She responds with a small shake of her head, a smile still laced across her features. In one fluid motion William hoists himself up into the back of the truck and, despite the smaller man’s obvious signs of protest, starts to maneuver the headboard out into the lawn.
“That dumbass is going to hurt himself.” You grumble as you throw the window open. “William Afton!” The argument that had ensued between the two men had come to a screeching halt the second your stern tone met their ears. “I know I'm not seeing you try to move that headboard all by yourself!” You could see him getting ready to protest, the sight of you crossing your arms over your chest getting ready to hear whatever clever comeback he had in store was enough for him to snap his mouth shut. “Let Henry help you so you don't throw out your back!” He gives you a hurried nod before you slide the window shut.
“You simply have to teach me how you do that.” Sarah states in awe. You and Sarah chatted idly while you got ready, changing into some more appropriate clothes than your ratty moving ensemble. William and Henry both wandered into your room just as you had finished freshening up.
William pauses, pointing between the two of you as he fishes around in his pocket. “Neither of you are to spend a dime on your nails, am I clear?” He hands his wallet over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist and placing a kiss to your forehead in the process. “Have fun, I'll take care of things around here tonight so try to relax.”
“I will.” You smile, resting your hand on top of the one he had on your hip. “What color should I get my nails?”
“Whatever color you want, sweetheart. They're your nails, it doesn't matter what color I want.” He chuckles.
“Well it does,” you start confidently, “you're the one who's going to have my hand wrapped around your-” William claps a hand over your mouth, Sarah letting out an audible gasp, and Henry choking on air as you get cut off. Your husband's face was bright red as he stared down at you with wide eyes. He raised an eyebrow at you, the expression flashing across your features sending a shiver down your spine. You'd be paying for that later.
“Purple.” He responds bluntly. “Now, you dirty little thing you, go have fun.” His features soften as he smiles at you. You stand up on your toes, pressing a kiss to his lips and giving his hand a gentle squeeze before heading off with Sarah.
“I can't believe you! I've never seen William look so flustered!” She exclaims with a laugh.
“It was the truth!” You rebuttal. “I want it to be a color he likes if I'm going to be…” you make a vague gesture with your hands that Sarah interprets as a jacking off motion.
“We definitely need to go get you some lingerie that matches your nails. If William was ready to rip you apart before I can only imagine how riled up you've gotten him now.” She gives you a teasing grin.
“Oh, I'm in for it later, there's no doubt about that.” You respond with a flustered giggle.
While you and Sarah were out enjoying some downtime William’s task at the house was going anything but smoothly. “Henry, so help me god, if you scratch these walls I'm going to kill you.” He grunts, the two of them struggling to get the heavy mahogany slab up the stairs.
“You're acting like I'm trying to mess up your house. This thing's heavy, excuse me for struggling.” Henry huffs.
“You're getting soft in your old age Henry.” William chuckles gruffly.
“You're such an asshole.” The other man responds with a laugh. The two of them lean the headboard up against the wall, returning downstairs to grab the final pieces before taking a short break. “You know, I never thought I'd see the day William Afton settled down.” Henry beams. “Look at you, you've got the huge house, big yard, successful business, loving wife.” William offers him a shrug and a proud smile “And don't you try to hit me with the ‘it’s not much’ speech.”
“Well, I definitely wouldn't be here without you Henry, you've had my back since day one.” He chuckles. Henry tosses a bottle out of the 6 pack he brought to William, the glass cool against his palm.
“I think this has less to do with my support and more with that wonderful young woman you have on your arm.” Henry loved the way that William seemed to grow flustered at the mere mention of your name. His best friend, who had always been rough around the edges and a pessimist by nature, never had even considered the idea of falling in love before you.
“She's a special one, that's for sure.” He smiles broadly as he thinks about how adorable you'll look once you arrive home later. He had no doubt in his mind that you would bound up to him, allowing him the chance to scoop you up in his arms. His eyes drift over to the disassembled bed. “She's going to lose her mind when she sees this finished.”
“Do you remember how you used to sleep on a mattress you had shoved into the corner? I don't even think you had sheets on it most of the damn time.” Henry bellows out through a laugh.
“Let’s be honest, I was never home to begin with, so it's not like that mattered.” William hooks the edge of his ring under the bottle cap, cracking it open with ease before taking a long swig of it. “Things definitely changed when she came into my life.” The happiness and comfort that the thought of you alone brought William was unmistakable. He leaned against the wall, taking another sip of his beer as he absentmindedly twisted his wedding band around his finger with his thumb. He sucks in a deep breath before beginning to talk again. “I really love her, you know?” Henry nods, leaning in order to make himself comfortable. William didn't share his feelings often. But, when he did, especially when it was about you, he could go on for hours if the mood struck him. “Even something as simple as moving here… I'm excited because it's another step I get to take in my life with her by my side. There isn't a second from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep at night that I'm not thinking about how happy she makes me. I just… I don't know, I know I probably sound like a love struck fool-”
“No!” Henry rushes to reassure him, the crack of him struggling not to get emotional all too apparent in William's ears. “Goddammit Will, you don’t sound like a fool at all. Anyone who sees the two of you together can tell just how perfect you are together. Before she came into your life you never left your workshop. You would hardly eat or sleep. Whenever I managed to catch sight of you, you looked miserable. But then she showed up.” The pair exchange a small smile as they remembered just how much of a difference you had made. In the past, it was no secret that William was never the most approachable person. The employees at Freddy’s would go as far as to dare each other to try and sneak a glimpse of the elusive Mr. Afton down in parts and services. The day that William had unceremoniously knocked you out with a pizza tray, Henry had started to notice a definite change in his best friend.
Henry’s eyes shot up from the paperwork on his desk as William pushed into the room. “Please say you didn't give her any permanent damage.” The shorter male groans, leaning back in his too plush leather office chair.
“Nothing like that,” William hurriedly tries to brush off his worries. “But, I did want to check in with you. She seems fine, but I'd like to take her to the ER, make sure she doesn't have a concussion.” Henry’s eyes narrowed slightly as he listened to William’s phrasing.
“You want to take her to the ER?” He questions, trying to keep his tone as level as possible. If William got the inkling that Henry was even suggesting it was more than that he might clam up entirely.
“Unless you want to-”
“Oh, no I'm slammed here!” He exclaims with a chuckle. “Inventory, bills, you know how it goes.” He waves his hand as he prattles off an excuse. “Just make sure to tell her she has the rest of the week off with pay to give her some recovery time. And I’d appreciate it, since you're the one taking her to the hospital, that you make time to go check in on her.” He could see the look of confusion on William’s face. He could tell Henry was up to something, he just couldn't quite place his finger on what. William nods, his hand coming to rest on Henry’s office door as he prepares to shut it. “Oh, and Will?” He freezes as he waits for the continuation of Henry’s sentence. “Don't be nervous.”
“You were scared shitless! I could see it in your eyes!” Henry yells, pointing an accusatory finger at William.
“Can you blame me?” He shoots back with a laugh. “I had just whacked the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in the side of the head with a pizza tray, I can only imagine the rumors the rest of the employees told her before she even met me.” The two felt like a pair of giddy twenty-something year olds as they recounted the past. The two swapped stories back and forth as they sipped their beers. “Alright, let's get this thing done before they get home.” He laughs, grabbing Henry’s empty bottle and slotting it neatly back into the pack.
“He is going to love that color on you.” Sarah nudges your shoulder with hers as she looks over at your nails.
“Yeah? I hope so.” You beam, looking at the deep shade of purple you had decided on.
“You know what I think you need?” You hum in response to her question. “A nice new set of lingerie to match.”
“That would look gorgeous on you.” The nail tech chimes in.
“Wouldn't it?” Sarah responds excitedly. “So, once we finish up here, there's this little boutique in the center I'm going to take you to. We’re going to pick you out something nice and sexy to surprise Will with later, and then we’ll head back to check in on your surprise.” She says in a sing-song tone.
You stood by Sarah’s side, both of you looking through the racks of delicate lace and soft satin. “What about something like this?” She holds it up to your body. You could tell just from looking at the complicated pattern of straps that it would be a nightmare to put on. You scrunch up your nose slightly, shaking your head.
“Too complicated. I want something easy to put on and easy for William to take off.” You both giggle as she sticks the hanger back on the rack.
“Don't try and pretend that he's not going to shred whatever lingerie we pick out to pieces with his teeth.” Your face flushed at her statement.
“That was one time.” You mutter in response. She snorts out a laugh.
“ I remember when you told me about that, the look on your face.” She dissolves into another fit of laughter.
“I knew he was strong, but holy shit.” You state through your own nervous chuckle. “He's an animal.” You loved getting to spend time like this with Sarah. You two had met a little while after you and William had started seeing each other, Henry insisting on double dates in order to get to know his closest friend's girl, you and Sarah hit it off immediately.
“How was the first night in the house? Did you christen the bedroom?” She gives me a devious smirk.
“The living room, actually.” She gives you a shocked look. “He brought the mattress down so we could eat pizza in the living room, one thing led to another…” You trail off, turning your attention back to the rack.
“Both of you just can't keep your hands off each other, can you?” She asks in a teasing tone. “We have to find something perfect!” She squeals as she grabs your arm, the two of you continuing your shopping. Sarah fussed over every small detail of what each of you picked up, ensuring that you were leaving with something that made you feel like a goddess. You broke into a bright smile at the sight of William standing in the porch, waiting for you as the truck rumbled up the gravel driveway. You hurried out of the cab, your shopping bag smacking against your thigh as you bounded up the steps and into your husband's waiting arms.
“There's my girl.” He wraps you up in a tight embrace. “How was it?” He takes a knee, nodding and listening attentively to you ramble about your afternoon, a soft smile on his lips. He asked to see your nails, you held out your hand to him. “Very beautiful rabbit, I love the color.” He beams before pressing his lips to the back of your hand. You let out a small squeak as he trails kisses up your arm and over your neck before finally landing on your lips. He went to peek inside of the bag you carried, you lightly slap his hand away.
“That is for later.” You chastise waving a finger at him.
He laughs at your seriousness, “fine.” He keeps an arm wrapped around your waist as you walk inside, Sarah fussing over Henry who was complaining about jamming his hand. “You ready to go see your surprise, sweetheart?” His hand gives the pudge of your hip a small squeeze before he lets you go to run off up the stairs. You hear his heavy footfalls boom behind you, letting out a small scream as you catch the sight of your husband chasing you up the stairs. You scramble down the hall in a fit of giggles, William not far behind. Just before your fingers could wrap around the doorknob and arm slid around your waist. Your feet are lifted from the floor with ease as William pulls you into him, your body falling limp as you hang from his arm in a futile attempt to have him let you go. “Well, I killed her, guess she won't see the room after all.” He jokes letting out a sigh. You can't help but giggle in response. William pretends to be confused by the fact you were able to make any sound at all, dropping his head lower to listen for any signs of life. “My god, she's still breathing.” As he keeps up the bit it causes your resolve to crumble. You break out into a fit of laughter, one your husband joins in on as he carefully sets you on your feet. “Go on bunny, I want to see what you think.” He prompts with a nod at the door. You slowly push into the room, curious eyes scanning your surroundings. You step into your bedroom, allowing your eyes to fall on the bed.
“Will…” A smile spreads across your face as tears well up in your eyes. Your husband's warm hand slips into yours as you look at the sight before you.
“You did say you've always wanted a canopy bed.” You took a hesitant step closer to it, feeling as if it was too good to be true, like if you got too close it would dissolve away in front of your eyes. William had taken the liberty of wrapping some Christmas lights he had found while unpacking around the top of the frame, the small white bulbs twinkling in the otherwise dark room.
“How did you… Where-”
“You'll have to thank Henry and Sarah for that.” You caught the sight of the two of them peeking in from outside the doorway.
“You guys got us this?” You asked, trying to keep your voice steady, not wanting to cry in front of your friends.
“Our neighbors were getting rid of it.” Sarah starts to explain.
“William wouldn't shut up about how hard it was trying to find a frame for a canopy bed.” Henry continues with a chuckle. “I have a truck-”
“-and two able bodies.” Sarah wraps an arm around her husband's waist, the two of them sharing a proud look.
“We’d be assholes if we didn't bring it over here to be honest.” You hug both of them, teary eyed and emotional over the fact that you had such amazing friends. You wipe at your eyes with the heels of your hands, cursing under your breath.
“Well, there has to be something I can do to repay you. You guys went through so much trouble just for this, I'm not letting you get off the hook that easily.”
“How about you make us dinner some night and we’ll call it even.” Henry chuckles.
“I think I can manage that.” You respond with a laugh of your own. Henry and Sarah stuck around for a bit longer, helping you unpack a few more boxes while the four of you had a couple drinks and reminisced about the past.
“You still have this?” Henry exclaims as you hand him the photo.
William chuckles and nods, “she has a box where she keeps all the mementos she saved from our relationship, we opened it yesterday.” Henry and Sarah held the picture between them, pointing out old employees of Freddy’s they remembered and looking at your much younger, smiling faces.
“Will you look miserable!” Sarah laughs.
“Good ol’ Wiffle Bat Willy!” Henry bellows, causing your husband to groan and roll his eyes.
“It's been almost ten years! Can't we move past it? I hit one kid by accident with a bat, one, and I still can't escape the nickname?” You break out into a fit of laughter at your husband's annoyed state.
“I'm afraid you've earned the nickname, you'll probably die with it, my friend.” Henry chuckles as he finishes off his drink. “We should probably start heading out, let you two enjoy the new bed.” He groans as he stands up from the couch.
“Thanks, we’ll try not to break it on the first night.” William responds casually.
“Are you alright? Are you sick?” Henry goes to feel William’s temperature only to get his hand slapped away. “Since when do you make sex jokes?” He exclaims, throwing his hands out to the side. “You're a bad influence young lady, I know it.” The playful glint in Henry’s eyes makes you giggle, attempting to hide your flustered appearance.
“Guilty as charged.” You raise your hands in defeat. Sarah grabs Henry by the arm, whispering something in his ear that had his jovial smile turn into a smirk, his eyes briefly flashing between the two of you.
“You kids have fun. Will, remember, you can swing by Freddy’s to get her a pizza. But, so help me, if I see you trying to sneak back into parts and services-” William rolls his eyes before Henry even has a chance to finish. He stands up, grabbing their coats for them. Henry continues to ramble as he pulls you into a tight hug, your husband making small affirming sounds in an attempt to appear like he was listening.
“Let me know how he likes the lingerie.” Sarah whispers in your ear as she hugs you goodbye.
“With how he is right now, it’ll probably be in pieces on the floor within the next hour but I'll fill you in.” You both laugh before Sarah links her arm through Henry’s.
“This is supposed to be a vacation, I know the two of you are moving but, my word William, when was the last time you took a break?” Sarah keeps gently tugging him closer to the door, William’s larger form and unstoppable stride assisting her. “You should be taking your wife on a… on a cruise or something, I don't know! Not spending all night working on-” the pair finally managed to get him out onto the porch. You wondered how he seemed to be able to keep going despite the fact you never noticed him take a breath, the thought made you chuckle under your breath.
“Henry!” William barks suddenly causing the shorter man to immediately clam up. “Not that I don't enjoy us rehashing the fact that you think I work too much for the millionth time, believe me it's the best part of my week.” You saw Sarah struggling to fight off a grin at William’s sarcastic tone. “But, I'm going to go have sex with my wife now, so…” He trails off with a nod before swinging the door shut in Henry’s face.
“I told you she was a bad influence!” You both laugh as you hear Henry continue to yell outside before his voice quickly dissolves into laughter at a comment Sarah must have made. You hear the engines purr slowly fade away as the two of them pull out of the driveway. The moment they were gone William’s gaze grew hungry. He saunters up to you, your heart hammering wildly in your chest as his towering form approaches you. He takes your chin between his fingers, tilting your head so you are looking straight into his steely gray eyes. “I’m going to go make the bed. I want you to go put on that little surprise you brought home, when you're done getting ready and you feel nice and pretty you come join me, okay bunny?” You nod slowly, your wide, excited eyes making William chuckle. “Words rabbit.” He coos.
“Okay.” He lets you go, patting your butt as he walks past you, making you giggle. You grabbed the lingerie bag that you had stuck in the kitchen for the time being. You pad up the stairs, William smiling at you as you slip into the bathroom. You tie up your hair, pulling out your makeup bag from one of the vanity drawers, feeling the need to really doll yourself up in order to see how worked up William could get. You took your time getting ready, knowing the anticipation would turn both of you on even more. Your reflection stared back at you, doe eyed and blushing as you dabbed the slightest amount of lipgloss against your perfectly pink, pouty lips. You pulled the lingerie set out of the bag, carefully picking at the sticker that held the pastel pink tissue paper closed so you wouldn't ruin it. You ran a finger over the bustier’s rigid boning, smiling softly at the way your husband's favorite color contrasted nicely against your skin. You managed to get yourself looking exactly how you wanted, taking one last look at yourself in the mirror as you tugged the lace of your panties up a little higher, making sure they sat in a way that accentuated your hips. You slowly turned the handle to open the bathroom door, the steady thrumming of your heart loud in your ears as you heard the soft click of the latch coming undone. You peeked around the edge of the door, your husband lounging in bed with an arm behind his head, you swallowed thickly at the sight of his shirtless, muscular form reclined against the pillows. His glasses rested low on his nose as he read, waiting patiently for you to finish getting ready. “Will?” Your soft, nervous voice floats through the room. Your husband's gaze sliding in your direction as he snaps his book shut.
“What's the matter bunny? I can't see how pretty you look if you're hiding.” He smiles, his legs swinging over the side of the bed in order for him to sit up and face you, giving you his undivided attention.
“I feel kind of silly.” You admit as a blush creeps across your cheeks. Despite the fact that William was always telling you how beautiful you were there was always a small, nagging doubt in the back of your mind.
“Honey,” the gentleness in his tone snaps you from your thoughts. “You know you’re my beautiful girl, right?” You nod softly. “If you feel silly we can always stop, but is it alright if I see what you picked out?” He slowly stands, waiting for your permission before stepping any closer. He stood a few steps in front of you, holding out his hand in an attempt to help lessen your nerves. Your fingers slide against his palm, the familiarity of his warm, calloused skin, bringing a soft smile to your face. He gives your hand a gentle squeeze as you slowly step out into your bedroom. William’s eyes widen slightly as his gaze rakes over your smaller form. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out.

“Do you like it?” You ask nervously, the intensity of his eyes on you making you feel exposed and vulnerable.
“Like it?” Bunny, I love it.” Your eyes snap to his, the hunger returning to him as he drank in the sight of you. His hand cups your cheek as he presses into you, capturing your lips in a mind numbing kiss. You stumbled backwards, the only thing keeping you upright was the arm William had slipped around your back. “You look absolutely stunning everytime I lay eyes on you, I still can't even begin to understand how I ended up being lucky enough to make you all mine.” He growls seductively, his lips barely out of reach. You let out a squeak as he scoops you from the floor, his lips finding yours once again as he carries you over to your bed. He hovers over you for a moment, breathless as the two of you separated. “I think someone needs to be reminded how gorgeous they are.” His fingers trail down your cheek before tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “I want tonight to be all about my pretty little wife.” He gives you a sharp smile that makes your stomach flutter with anticipation. His large hands press firmly into your sides, memorizing every curve and angle of your body as he makes a show of lowering himself to his knees at the edge of the bed. “Lay back and relax sweetheart.” He winks at you, reaching up to give your hand one final squeeze before he sets to work. You let out a soft, pleased whine as he presses his thumb into the pad of your foot, his lips trailing gentle kisses from your ankle up your leg. If there was one thing you knew about your husband it was just how meticulous he was, not a single spot of your body was left unattended. The room quickly filled with the sounds of your soft gasps and moans as William marked you up. The feeling of his sharp teeth against your sensitive skin, the dark purple love bites that littered your thighs. He was a master at pushing out any negative thoughts you had, drunk off his touch alone.
He runs his hands over the curve of your waist, hot open mouthed kisses being placed along the hem of your panties. You mewled from the sensation, your fingers sliding into his salt and pepper hair. William pauses with a soft hum; your chest already softly heaving as you struggle to keep your breathing under control, your cheeks flushed, your pupils slightly blown as they meet his, he would never get tired of seeing you like this. “So pretty, all for me.” He raised his hand, running his fingers over the delicate lace that adorned your body. “You even found something in my favorite color, hm?” He gives you a small teasing smile. He rests his cheek against the inside of your thigh, nuzzling his scruffy face against your soft skin. “What did I do to deserve you?”
“What do you mean?” You lovingly stroke his hair, eyes never leaving his. “You're the perfect husband, I'm lucky you’re mine.” You place your fingers under his chin, pressing against him in a way that silently asks him to come up to you. You cup his cheek, thumb rubbing languidly over his warm skin.
“You deserve to have the ground you walk on worshiped.” He whispers, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. “Someone who loves you unconditionally, someone who would kill for you if you asked… I plan to deliver on all of those things.” A shiver ran up your spine under your husband's intense gaze, a tone of absolute, unwavering devotion to you in his words. Your fingers slide into his hair, pulling his lips back to yours, a breathy ‘I love you’ falling from your lips before you kiss him. He wraps an arm around your waist, guiding you into his lap. His fingers ghost over your sides, making goosebumps rise on your skin. “You look very pretty in this bunny, but I would like to take it off if that's okay.” His voice was low and gravelly as it met your ears, the growing bulge in his pants pressing into your core in a way that made you whimper with need.
“Please,” you whine, “I want you to touch me William.” Your permission seemed to be all that was holding him back. A growl bubbles up in his throat, his fingers dipping into the thin bustier. He grabs tightly onto the cups of the bustier, pulling them in opposite directions. His biceps flexed under the strain, your eyes widened as you heard the fabric of your lingerie start to rip. You looked down, watching the threads pop apart as one long line split the bustier in two, your breasts bouncing slightly as the support was removed and tossed haphazardly across the room. William curses under his breath, his gaze hungry as his hands massage your sensitive mounds. You bite your lip in an attempt to keep yourself quiet.
“Let me hear those sweet sounds, bunny, don't be shy.” He prompts with a smile. His head dips lower, his lips wrapping around your perky nipple as he rolls the other between his fingers. A broken moan cracks from your throat, one hand tangling in his hair, the other pressing into his thigh as you lean back slightly to give him easier access to your chest. He swirled his tongue around the sensitive bud, his free hand squeezing your waist as he held you in place. He releases you with a wet pop, your skin hot to the touch as your husband meticulously warms you up. He adds a myriad of hickies across the expanse of your chest, your breasts, your collarbones, and up your neck, ensuring that anyone who looked at you would automatically know that you belonged to him and no one else. He lays you back carefully onto the bed, kissing down your stomach as he eases your panties down your legs. His large hands wrap around the inside of your thighs, spreading them apart as he places the ghost of a kiss to your aching clit. He runs a finger over your entrance, humming at how wet you already were. He eases a finger inside of you, making you gasp which quickly turns into a moan as his tongue flicks over the sensitive bundle of nerves. He groans as the taste of you coats his tongue, his beard tickling your skin as he loses himself between your legs. Your thighs clamped around his head, tugging at his hair as you grind your hips against his face. He slides another finger inside of you, your back arching off the bed at the delicious stretch. William traces a complicated pattern of shapes with his tongue, you could feel the coil in your core starting to tighten as he coaxed you to your first climax. You scream his name as his fingers curl inside of you, hitting a spot that made you see stars as he mercilessly assaulted it. He hums against you, satisfied with how you allowed him the chance to make you fall apart on his tongue, the vibrations making you whine as you fought a losing battle to hold off your orgasm just a little longer. A fleeting worry about crushing William’s head between your thighs was quickly shoved aside as your climax crashed through you. You pushed yourself against him, crying out as your whole body shook with pure ecstasy. He pulls off of you with a sharp gasp, finally allowing a full breath of air to fill his lungs. The lower half of his face was entirely coated in your arousal, making his beard as cheeks shine in the room's dull light. His eyes now black, his pupils blown with lust as he stared back at you hungrily. His movements tantalizingly slow as he crawls up your body, his forearms caging you on either side of your head as his massive form traps you beneath him. “I need you.” He admits in a low growl. He nuzzles his face against your neck, breathing in your sweet scent. “Please let me have you, bunny.”
“I'm all yours.” You smile your response, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. Despite how desperately he wanted to grab you and plow you into the mattress William always exercised the utmost control, he knew how easily he could hurt you if he went too quickly. He presses soft kisses to your throat, you let out a hum of anticipation as you feel his tip prod at your entrance. You let out a high pitched whine as he pushes into you, your hands grabbing tightly onto his shoulders as you adjust to his massive size.
“That's it sweetheart,” he coos softly, “just relax. I've got you.” He brushes his thumb over your cheek, his eyes scanning over your features for any sign of discomfort as he settles himself hilt deep inside of you.
“Fuck, Will.” Your voice cracks, the fullness of him stretching you so completely making your eyes roll back in your head.
“Such a pretty bunny, taking me so well.” His lips trail along your jaw, making your shiver. “How are you feeling, sweet girl?”
“G-good.” You stutter out. “Really good.” You claw at his back as he rocks into you, a guttural groan escaping your throat as your second climax quickly welled up inside of you. “Fuck, I'm gonna…” you're cut off by another high pitched moan escaping you as William’s hips snap into you.
“You're gonna what, rabbit?” He smiles down at you. “Are you going to finish bunny? Is my pretty little wife going to cum all over my cock?” His hand dips in between your legs, rubbing tight circles on your clit. You cry out his name, your legs thrashing wildly as you try to push away from him, his much larger body keeping you pinned perfectly in place. “So good for me.” He groans next to your ear. “You feel so good bunny, fuck.” His large hands wrap under your thighs, pushing them up to your chest and allowing him to press impossibly deeper inside of you. His fingers dig into your supple flesh with bruising force as he continues to pound into you, a growl escaping his throat as he chases his own climax. “You think you got one more in you, bunny?” He can't help but chuckle at your fucked out expression, your tiny frame barely holding onto consciousness. The way he had you pressed into this position, filling you so completely, hitting the deepest part of you, it snapped something in your mind. You babbled out incoherent nonsense. William’s voice sounded like it was underwater, muffled and far off. Strings of praises tumbled from his lips like a prayer as he fucked into you at a merciless pace.
“Please…” you sob. “Want you to cum in me.” He lets out an animalistic snarl as he slams you down on his cock.
“I'm gonna fill you up so good bunny.” His voice was gruff in your ear. “Such a good girl.” Your mind grew hazy as you felt yourself on the brink of cumming again. You could tell that William was close, his thrusts losing their steady rhythm. He groans softly, his hips stuttering slightly. He curses under his breath as he finishes, the feeling of his hot ropes of cum coating your walls enough to push you over the edge. He collapsed against you, a shudder running through his body as your cunt clenched around him. He gives you a few more gentle thrusts, hissing at the overstimulation before he pulls out of you.
Tumblr media
You laugh as he lets his full body weight lay on top of you, lips fluttering over your neck. “That was some really pretty lingerie you picked out.” He chuckles, his voice raspy as sleep quickly threatens to take over.
“It's a shame you ripped it in half.” You tease.
“I'll buy you a new one, bunny.” He smiles, pressing a kiss to your cheek. Neither of you were able to move, both of your minds foggy as you came down from your highs, absolutely exhausted. William rolls off of you before pulling you into his chest. You let out a soft hum as you nuzzle against him, his warm, rough hands massaging over your waist.
“Will?”
“Yes rabbit?” The room was incredibly still, the only sounds breaking up the silence in between your hushed conversation was the subtle creaking of the trees in the wind.
“I'm so happy we’re married.” You yawn. William beams down at you, his wife, his everything.
“I am too, sweetheart.” The last thing you feel is the warmth of his lips as they press against your forehead.

🫧 ━━ JOHNNY UTAH X CHUBBY F READER IMAGINE𓈒
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
𓈒part I 𓈒cheeky Johnny
𓈒inspo: @tedsbogusworld’s 🤖
━━ you are bodhi’s little sister
━━ just trying to make it through college while working part-time at the aquarium
━━ your parents aren’t around anymore, so you’ve been taking care of your older brother (paying the bills and rent with tuition money, stocking the fridge, dragging him in from the yard where he’s passed out in a puddle of beer and vomit in the cool waking sunset)
━━ your big brother throws the wildest parties ; you avoid them at all costs, shut yourself in your room, hide away at the beach, stay late at work. it’s just not your scene
━━ plus, his friends aren’t nice, especially not when they’ve been drinking, and being surrounded by tall, athletic bodies in tight swimsuits is detrimental to your baggy clothed, short, chubby self esteem
Tumblr media
one night, you get home super late, but the party is still raging. Spilled cans of liquor on your floor, an unattended bonfire that you have to put out with the hose - we’re in a drought for chist’s sake, have some common decency, bodhi.
bodhi catches you in the kitchen, much to your scowling dismay, and has someone he wants you to meet. you’re really not in the mood for his antics tonight - he’s so drunk and high he can barely keep two feet parallel with the ground - so you basically tell him to fuck off
but, bodhi is super bad at respecting boundaries. it inflates when he’s under influence. he’s got you face to face with a brand new partygoer before you have a chance to run
“hey.” big white grin, tawny skin, heavy dark eyes. you have to crane your neck to look at his face.
the music is almost too loud for you to catch bodhi’s next infuriating line. “told ya she was cute, johnny. she’s all yours.”
you basically freak out on him, shove his shoulder and start yelling and cursing and drawing attention.
you’ve spent years taking care of him, not asking for a cent from his party fund, putting up with his bullshit, and you’re so fucking tired of him making fun of you just because you’re not a skinny surfing meat head. after you rip him a new asshole, you storm off.
you could go to your room, but that would mean shouldering through a crowd, so you opt for a long walk on the pier instead.
as you’re watching the dark ocean waves crash and spray against support beams, you feel a hand on your shoulder. you turn around, ready to fight, but it’s just bodhi’s new friend.
lowering your fist and replacing it with a scowl, you turn back around to face the open sea and ignore mr. tall dark and handsome.
“hey.” he leans on the railing beside you, accidentally scrapes his forearm on a barnacle and starts bleeding. “ah, fuck.”
“you’ve never been to a beach town, huh?” his arm is in your hand and you’re using your old tshirt to wipe the trickling red from his skin.
he smiles at you, boyishly, gives this coy bat of thick lashes that makes your tummy uneasy. you hope he doesn’t notice the abrupt way you let his arm flop. little tickly crabs crawl over your skin as you turn away.
“got a bandaid?”
“you’ll live.”
“ouch. hey, I think we got off on the wrong foot. i’m johnny, just moved here.”
“hullo, johnny just moved here, i’m not interested in company.”
he seems way too amused by your venom, lets loose a little chuckle. “you’re not very friendly, are you?”
“not to bodhi’s cult, no.”
“man, what is your problem?” he shakes his head and kicks dried salt. “you have the hots for me or something?”
stiffened shoulders, shrinking posture, eyes unable to hold his own. it’s all the info he needs. he gets a big grin that makes you want to jump right off the pier and let the angry water swallow you up.
“oh, yeah?” he tugs his bottom lip into the toothy smile, nudges your shoulder. “listen, just cuz i’m pretty doesn’t mean i’m a dickwad.”
“yeah, it does.” you think you’re insulting him, but really what you’ve just done is confirmed that you do think he’s pretty - the quiet, thick quiver in your voice doesn’t help your case.
“thanks, sweetheart.”
now you have a better idea - push him off the pier. instead, you walk away.
“oh, she’s adorable.”

New World🍂Part.9
Summary: You grew up in a crappy town with one friend who kept you going, everything started to fall into place, that’s until the world ended and the dead ruled the world, now you and your best friend Daryl Dixon had to stay alive but will you finally confess?
Part.8
•Masterlist•
Tumblr media
We’ve been at the prison now for a week, a lot of things have changed, prisoners were found but with that we found a lot of food in the prison kitchen, Hershel got bit and lost his lower leg, but thankfully Hershel was getting better, only two prisoners were left and things were seeming to finally settle
Plus I was doing a lot better with the food supply I wasn’t as ghostly looking and I was able to help out cleaning up the outside court yard just to make the place feel a bit more comfortable
I walked outside seeing Rick and Daryl talking by the truck, I wasn’t able to see him when I woke up because he was always up early to work with Rick
“Hi my love” I said laying my hand on him shoulder as he turned to greet me, he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me into his side kissing the top of my head
“What’re ya doin up so early?”
“I was cold without you” I said nuzzling closer into him loving his warmth
This made Rick laugh totally forgettting he was there making me blush
Tumblr media
The day went in as usual, cleaning up, securing the place, I heard the door open and saw Hershel hobbling out with the help of Carl, Lori and Beth
“Hey Hershel look at you go!” I said as Maggie, Tdog and Carol jogged up just as excited
“WALKERS!” Carl yelled as he noticed a group of walkers behind us
All hell broke loose after that, Lori, Carl, Maggie and I ran off securing ourselves inside, but when we went to go to the beds there were more walkers we managed to find a secure place in the boiler room trying to hid from the walkers that were still roaming the halls
“Carl are you okay?” I asked checking him over he looked shaken
“I’m….im okay” he said as he hugged me, he was still young and he barely ever got comfort so I let him hug me he was the sweetest boy he didn’t deserve to live in a world like this
We went down the stairs were Lori was with Maggie and she looked panicked that’s when she started screaming
“The baby is coming” she said as she held onto the chains hanging from the wall, Carl held onto me tighter hiding his face in my side so I rubbed his back as Lori continued to scream trying to push
“Lori stop somethings wrong” Maggie said as he hand was covered in blood
Lori layed down as we all followed her Carl at one side as I was at the other
“Maggie you gotta cut me open”
“No I can’t”
“You have to save my baby….please” but Maggie still refused
“I’ll do it, I’ll save em” I said squeezing Maggie’s hand as we traded places
“See my scar that’s what I got from my previous c-section” I tried to calm my breathing realizing what I was about to do, how this would change the three of us
Carl handed me his knife as Lori said her last words to him, we were all crying now my heart was heavy and I felt sick
“Okay……I’m ready” Lori sucked in a breath before I steadied my hands as best as I could before I sliced into her, her scream so painful that will forever me seared into my mind
She passed out and I was trying to be quick as I saw the babies feet and dropped my knife to the ground as I gently pulled the baby out, she wasn’t moving
“What do I do?” I asked Maggie nervous
“Turn her over, pat her back and feet” there was blood everywhere but I had to focus, I repeatedly hit her back but not too hard to hurt her and finally she started crying, relief washing over me
Carl passed me him jacket so I could cover her holding her against my chest
“We need to go” Maggie said standing up
“We can’t leave her to turn” Carl said as tears were falling down his face
Using a free hand I lead Carl to the closed door we came in from so Maggie could put Lori out of her misery I refused to let Carl do that
I held his one ear against my stomach and covered his other with my hand, Maggie’s gun went off and she came up with a pale face, Carl clung to me as we left to find the others, the little baby warm against my chest, the scream still playing in my head, the blood drying to my hands and chest, I needed Daryl
We came out the courtyard seeing all the walkers were dead and the remaining members of the group were there, when Maggie saw Helen she ran to him crying, Rick was in shock
“Where…..where is she?” He asked looking at me and Carl with red eyes
“I’m sorry Rick” I said as my lips trembled
Rick dropped to the ground crying, I couldn’t imagine the grief he must be feeling but now this baby and Carl didn’t have a mother and their father wasn’t mentally well enough to take care of them……but I will, I’ll try my best for them
I felt a hand cup my cheeks, looking up seeing Daryl with sad eyes
“Oh sunshine” he pulled me into a hug Carl between us as he still hadn’t let me go
I kneeled down after Daryl pulled away, showing Carl his baby sister properly
“She’s beautiful isn’t she? As cute as a button” I said looking up at Carl seeing his tears were stopping as he gazed upon her
I heard Daryl saying he was gonna go with Maggie to find this baby girl some food but before he left he kissed my cheek whispering words of love and they were off on his bike
Carl sat down next to me as he leaned his head against my arm as we both look at this ray of sunshine, a miracle in such a dark world
“What are you thinking of naming her sweetie?” I asked as Carl booped her nose
“I don’t know yet”
“That’s alright there’s plenty of time”
Beth came over with a soft rag and water so we could clean her off and dress her I fresh baby clothes we found on the road
“Thank you y/n, for all this” Carl said I could hear the sadness in his voice
“Of course I’ll do anything for you both…..always”
Tumblr media
Daryl got back later with Maggie as she made the formula, he kneeled infront of me brushing his thumb over the baby’s cheek
“She’s beautiful” he said smiling up at me
He took her and fed her the bottle swaying her side to side admiring her, he had the look of care that he only ever gave me it was the most cutest thing I’ve ever seen, this makes me wanna have a baby with Daryl even more I just know he’d be an amazing father
“She’s a lil asskicker” he said making everyone chuckle, Rick was no where to be seen so I decided to take care of her for the night, Daryl and I were sat on our make shift bed with me back against his chest with lil asskicker curled against my chest babbling little cries
“I want one” I said feeling Daryl’s heart beat faster against my back
“We can’t”
“I know” I said sadly feeling a heavy weight on my heart, knowing what we could have had if walkers never existed
“I would tho ya know, if things were different I’d have a family with ya” I laid my head against his chest nuzzling closer to his neck loving his smell
“I love you D”
“I love ya too”
Tumblr media
I was sat in little book corner ledge up against my front window watching as the trees leaves swayed in the wind, hearing the little birds chirp and that wonderful feeling of the lowering sun warming my skin as the sky turned shades of orange and purple
After a long day of working with students and cooking Daryl’s favorite meal I was waiting to hear the comforting rumble of his bike and she him jog up my sidewalk to the front door and if right on time there he was, covered in black grease stains but still as handsome as ever
He walked in dropping his work bag and coming over scooping me up and spinning me around making me giggle, I felt so much love in my heart, so absolutely lucky to have found him, he trailed kisses up and down my neck then all over my face
“How was work D?” I asked leading him to the bathroom to clean him up
“Eh, worked on some bikes, nothin excitin” he said as he leaned against the sink as I ran a cool wet cloth over his dirty skin u til he was good enough for dinner
I threw the cloth into the laundry basket and wrapped my arms back around his shoulders
“I missed you so much” I said leaning up to kiss him gently feeling his scruff against my face
“Missed ya too, ‘specially when I know I got a woman like ya at home in my shirt with yer little pink panties” he said squeezing my hips
“Oh stop dinner first, plus Juniper is in the next room sleeping” I said laughing as he fake disappointed sigh
I got Juniper out of her crib as she was already up clinging to the railing bouncing probably having heard her fathers voice, we walked back out to the kitchen sitting at the little table as we started dishing up the food, I could tell he was starving when he chowed down, I feed Juni some mashed up vegetables as she giggled being just like Daryl loving food
After dinner we cleaned up and sat in the little living room on the floor playing with Juni, Daryl tickled her feet making her scream in joy as she tried to climb all over him
“I love this, I love you, Juniper, our life’s together, this little old house, I love everything you’ve given me D”
“You know it’s not real though” he said looking at me with the saddest eyes
“What? What do you mean?” Everything started to get blurry
“We never got to have this life, it was cut short before we even got the chance sunshine, I’m sorry” his voice was like bricks on my heart as his voice started to sound farther away and I could barely see either Daryl or Juniper
Tumblr media
I shot up immediately from sleep, sweat covering my body as I tried to catch my breath, remembering I still had the baby in my arms as she squirmed from my sudden movement
“Hey ya okay?” I heard Daryl ask from behind me rubbing my back as I was still between his legs
I shock my head remembering the dream, what I could have had, a beautiful little girl with dark hair and light blue eyes like Daryl, beautiful house and to not be scared every waking moment and hungry
The tears came fast and I couldn’t calm myself whimpering loudly feeling the extreme pressure from the day and the dream
“What is it sunshine” he asked holding me back to his chest
“It was a nightmare, just an awful nightmare”
My soul felt hollow, my heart crushed, my hopes dead in the dirt, I wanted so much in life atleast I still had Daryl the only light I had left
Tumblr media
Guys I put my soul into this chapter please like or repost!!:)

Unstable König x Unhinged You 🎀
Part 10: the final episode in this bizarre fic. Major morally grey, ambiguous and questionable behaviour from both parties, violence and smutty references
FYI this may make little sense unless you’ve read the other bits!
You always knew he was special, after all. 🐰
Tumblr media
“And you have no idea where these delusions have come from? Most of them seem to involve you.”
König leans back in his chair casually, perfectly relaxed.
“No warden, honestly I don’t.”
He does know. It’s because he’s stopped giving you the nightly medication, prescribed to keep you docile.
König hates seeing you heavily dosed up, your lovely eyes dulled, barely recognising him.
It was love at first sight. The kind you see in the movies. That heart stopping moment of madness.
The minute you arrived at the high security prison, nonchalantly sucking on a lollipop having slipped your handcuffs, he was hooked.
“Don’t put them back on, please baby!” You said with a pout, offering him your candy.
So insane. Now he needs you like oxygen.
This all started, when he was trying to comfort you one night. The reality of your imprisonment had begun to dawn on you. He despised seeing you so sad. A little bunny in a grim cage.
Carefully, König reimagined how you first met, telling you a fictional story, hoping it might make you smile.
But König made it so convincing, it became your reality and then it became his too.
In your minds, he first saw you at a party, rather than in a prison yard. Of course he did Hase, he couldn’t keep his eyes off you that night. You were so different from the others. The prettiest thing he’d ever seen.
Every day and night since, he’s spun you a dreamworld so intensely vivid, that it really feels like you’re both living in it.
Your eyes gleam while you experience his fantasies alongside him. Because that’s what they are, even you aren’t capable of conjuring up the fiction he’s created. He needs the meds more than you do.
“I want careful observations tonight König, we need to ensure staff safety. After what happened to that junior doctor last month.” The warden states, jerking König back to reality for a minute.
König’s hands clench in his lap with fury.
That wasn’t your handiwork, it was his. After he caught that doctor, with his creeping hands all over his little Hase down a dark corridor, he saw red and beat him black and blue.
You’d gleefully taken the rap for it, before he could convince you to be quiet.
He didn’t want you to shoulder the blame. But it landed you in solitary confinement, with him as pretty much your only guard, because you stopped eating when he wasn’t nearby.
It was an unexpected but welcome plus. He got to be with you almost uninterrupted. Everyone else kept their distance where possible, because you’re truly unpleasant to anyone but König.
He would lock you both in there together each night, like a deranged married couple. It just made it easier to create your fictional universe. A new version of reality every night.
God, he still shivers remembering that first time. When he forced you onto his lap by the throat. Your tight pussy felt like heaven on his formerly untouched cock.
At any opportunity that arose afterwards, he was fucking you. Solitary made that easier for sure. Whole nights after lights out, where he was buried inside you, while he was supposed to be patrolling the corridors.
He’s the only one who can make you moan little Hase, don’t forget it.
It’s wrong, König knows that, he’s known it all along. But he can’t stop himself. Changing the rota so he gets every shift possible with you, spending so much time at work he’s barely ever at home now.
The prison is so short staffed that they’re grateful for his extra hours, never questioning why he’s pulling double duties.
König didn’t care when you flushed his phone, after he caught you using a contraband one. The only thing he cared about, was making you fall in love with him in return.
Because he is so utterly in love with you, it’s blinding. What does it matter if you’re unhinged? He’s no angel either. You don’t deserve to be shut up in here, you’re too perfect not to be free and at his side.
Still, he really wondered if you might kill him when you spotted him (completely innocently), talking to a female colleague about the movement of another prisoner during dinner.
It nearly broke his heart, when you got upset about it. You seemed so out of touch with reality.
König panicked that he’d taken things too far. Your shared dreamscape had become so real, the lines were blurring.
He had to talk you around hard that night, anxious the entire time that someone would think he’d taken advantage of you.
Or worse, he worried that you would stop letting him into your bed.
But in reality, König hasn’t taken advantage of you, if anything it’s probably the other way around.
You’re perfectly aware of the affect you have on him, on most men. There’s nothing sweeter than the taste of danger. You use it to your benefit.
It didn’t take long for you to corrupt him, he fell perfectly into your lap, leaving his morals firmly behind him.
You really could smell just how much of a loser he was. Any small bit of attention you gave him, drove him wild. He fascinated you, a hardened, ex military prison officer, behaving like a love drunk teenager.
Honestly, you really didn’t mean to catch feelings for him. You didn’t even know you possessed feelings. But he’s good for you. Keeps you safe. Accepts you unconditionally, lays his broad hands on all of your insanity and delights in it.
He knows you, loves you for your flaws. In turn, you’ve recognised something special in him, that no one else can see.
When you begged him to carve his name into your chest. He knew that he had to break you out as soon as possible.
If anyone realised you were in a relationship, they might try and separate you. He wouldn’t survive that.
He wouldn’t Little Hase.
It was a challenge to make you keep the mark covered up. Luckily for him, the other staff are used to your behaviour. They all thought you’d done it to yourself, not realising, König had your name carved into him too, like a matching wedding band.
Thankfully his uniform has long sleeves.
Heavy feet sound on the corridor outside your cell, along with the jangle of keys.
You hate that noise. It’s enough to drive anyone nuts. More nuts than they were before they got locked up in here.
The judge who sentenced you for causing that accident on the highway, wasn’t as bewitched by your nasty charm, as König is.
They called it manslaughter, you got less time inside because of that. It’s a fraction really of the punishment you deserved. But you’re a smart cookie remember, you know how to play the victim.
You thought you might lose him, when you told him what you had done. But he just asked you to take him through it in detail. So you did, imagining he’d been there with you at the time.
König knew about it already, having read your file several times, wanting to know everything about you. Of course he didn’t care.
You had your reasons, he believed you when you said you didn’t mean to hurt anyone.
You just wanted to see a car crash in real life.
You’re not in serious trouble Little Hase, it’s all just a misunderstanding. Anyway, König would do far worse, to keep you in his arms.
You’re his for life. Murderer or not.
“I’m not taking those fucking pills, so piss off!” You shout at the locked door. It’s tedious, the way they keep trying to tranquillise you.
Moodily, you punch your pillow into a more comfortable position and continue staring at the blank wall opposite you. In your mind, you’re back at the imaginary beach, lying in the sand with König, just like he told you about.
They call you a psychopath, amongst other things. Bit rude that. You’re not a fan of labels, being perfectly at ease with your weird personality.
König is late. Usually he’s here by now, with some sort of treat like a cookie, candy or very slutty panties. You considered trying to start another small fire, to get him in here with you quicker, but ultimately you resisted.
He wasn’t happy about that last time. Mainly because the other guards, asked where you’d gotten that cigarette from. Obviously König gave it to you as a treat, but they couldn’t know that.
He's your saviour. A kindred spirit. It’s in those blue eyes. He’s just as crazy as you are.
He’s promised to get you out and take you away, to a place you can both live out your wildest dreams together. Even wilder than the ones he tells you about every night.
You can’t wait to be his ride or die. The one who fucked the virginity out of him, along with his common sense.
Quietly, you hear the sound of your door being unlocked.
“Shh Häschen. It’s just me.”
He’s holding the little pink stuffed toy in two big hands, retrieved from his car, grinning at you happily. God you’re just so beautiful, utterly breathtaking, even with that vicious look on your face.
“You’re late.” You hiss at him.
“I know, I’m sorry. But tonight is the night Hase. Are you ready to come home?”
Your eyes start to sparkle with insane excitement. Jumping up from your bed, you stand on tiptoes and throw your arms around his neck.
When you kiss him, you nip his lip hard, making him groan into your mouth. He stops you from trying to put your hands down his pants.
“Later.” He promises, placing a kiss on your nose.
Taking the toy off him, you feel something hard in the stuffing. Violently you tear the head off it, finding your new pink knife inside.
It looks just like he described, specifically commissioned for you. Flicking it open, you twist it in your hands, finally it’s tangible.
“Get dressed for me, then we’ll go.” König passes you an outfit, concealed under his uniform.
It’s the one you ordered on his bank card, during supervised computer time. It’s spectacularly wicked, basically lingerie plus one of his button down shirts. König insisted on the shirt, he’s wanted to dress you up for so long.
He watches you change while you flirt with him, unnecessarily running your hands all over your soft skin and blowing him kisses.
König has to adjust himself several times in his trousers, hungry eyes drinking you in, barely able to stop his urge to take you roughly against the wall.
But tonight, he wants to make you cum somewhere without bars on the windows. Then you can scream as loudly as you want. He can’t wait to hear you, wondering if you’ll taste even sweeter as a free häschen.
“You look perfect Hase.”
It’s true, to him you are perfect, his little psychopath. König is planning on showering you with his love and affection for the rest of your lives.
“I know.” You reply, playing a skilled game of airborne catch with your knife.
Later, König stares over at you in his passenger seat. You’re actually here! After so many nights of playing pretend.
It took some bloodshed to get you out of prison, but it was worth it a thousand times over. Now he really can keep you forever.
With your feet resting in his lap as he drives across the open country, you look at him dreamily.
“I think I love you baby, you know that?”
Taking your freshly manicured hand and pressing it to his scarred cheek, his sky blue eyes meet yours.
“I love you more.”
You would ask him where you’re going first. But it doesn’t really matter, as long as you’re together.
You always knew he was special, after all.
It’s a wrap everyone! Pls let me know thoughts!!!! Did anyone expect this ending?!

Summary: Loki doesn’t understand Thor’s attraction to Midgardians. Until he meets you.
Pairing: Avenger Loki x F. Reader
Warnings: Eventual Smut
W/C: 1.1K
A/N: I was trying to come up with something that the Avengers would use to determine who was the best Avenger. I thought it would be so funny if they did the most stupid competitions. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

When Loki and Thor got back from Asgard, the long awaited day finally arrived. The Avengers’ Field Day. It was a bunch of stupid competitions the guys did every year to determine who was “The Best Avenger.” The winner got bragging rights and the rest of the team didn’t hear the end of it until the following year.
The girls never participated. You just liked the show. Plus, you all didn’t need a stupid competition to tell you that you all were the best. You, Nat, and Wanda laid out blankets on the grass, setting up your spot in a shady area of the yard.
Some of the guys were already waiting outside. The stragglers were starting to come out now. It was Scott’s first time competing. He was excited, so hopeful he would win. You didn’t have the heart to tell him that either Steve or Thor had won every year since it began.
“Why did we start doing this anyway?” he asked your group. “To see whose dick is the biggest!” Nat answered him. You and Wanda bursted out in a fit of giggles. Loki was walking by and had heard the conversation. “I assure you , I would win if that was the competition.” He smiled looking pleased with himself. He winked and you swore it was directed at you.
The first competition was about to begin. It was the potato sack race. Each contestant put their legs in the burlap sacks. You wondered where Tony found such large ones. They reached their waists. Each Avenger took their spot at the starting line, holding their bag on each side.
Tony was the first to fall. He cursed when the others jumped ahead of him. Thor was the next one down. He claimed he was too big to fit in such a small bag. Clint, Sam, and Bucky were taking their time. Steve would go fast, then slow down. Scott and Loki were in the lead.
You and the girls were on your feet watching them go side by side. Nat and Wanda started chanting “Scott”. You didn’t want Loki to feel left out, so you started loudly cheering for him. Loki was so close to winning the first competition, but he was caught off guard when he heard your sweet voice cheering him on. He fell right before the finish line allowing Scott to win.
Next was the egg toss. They would get a partner, toss the egg between them getting further apart until the team without a broken egg was left standing. Sam argued that it wasn’t fair for certain people to be paired together because they would be so in sync that it would be an easy win.
Tony agreed, splitting up Thor and Loki and Steve and Bucky. Loki and Bucky quickly found their groove, passing the egg between them with ease. Sam and Tony were the first out with Thor and Steve following behind them.
Loki and Bucky were next when Sam started shouting at Bucky trying to mess him up. It wasn’t working at first, but then he missed the egg when Loki tossed it. Clint and Scott were the winning team.
A point was rewarded to both of them. You and the girls decided it wasn’t fair. Clint’s aim was flawless. He could put it in Scott’s hand every time. But he did have Scott for a partner so it balanced out.
The guys took a quick water break before the next competition, the tug of war. They were divided into teams of four. Loki, Steve, Sam, and Clint on one. Bucky, Thor, Tony, and Scott on the other. A mud puddle was on the ground marking the center. Each team would pull on the rope with a red flag in the middle.
The team to pull the flag to their side would win. Steve declared that Bucky was not allowed to use his metal arm because it would be an advantage. Once the rules were established, it started. Steve and Thor were standing in front of their teams. Steve was shouting orders to his team. Thor remained silent. His team worked together perfectly.
Steve barked out an order to pull harder and Loki let go of the rope, stepping aside. His team was sent toppling on top of each other into the mud. You were laughing, snorting, and trying not to spit out your drink. Loki’s team started shouting at Loki who threw his hands up, simply stating “I don’t like to be told what to do.”
One point was rewarded to each member of the other team. Next was a tree climbing competition. Each Avenger took his spot at the base of a large tree trunk. You watched as Scott couldn’t get a grasp on his tree. Sam had a hand on a branch but seemed unsure where to go after that. Thor and Loki were leading the pack, both of them close to the top of their trees.
You rose to your feet cheering Loki on. When he made it to the top, you screamed running toward him. He jumped down, landing with a thud. When you reached him, he placed a large hand on your chin lifting your face to him. He leans in, and you held your breath thinking he might kiss you.
But you were interrupted when Thor slapped Loki on the back causing him to pull away. “Well done, Loki! I knew one of us would receive the point.” He looks at you when he says, “We have been climbing trees for sport for a thousand years.”
Loki gave Thor a look that would kill him on the spot if it could. You turned your back to them walking back to the shade. You bring your hand to your lips wondering if you imagined the whole thing. You always thought Loki would be smoother than that. You had imagined what a first kiss with him would be like.
He would pull you into a dark corner after a party, pressing your back against the wall. He would capture your lips with his and kiss you in a way that would make you feel like you’d never been kissed before.
Loki ran his hand through his hair tying it back into a bun. What was he thinking? He came to the conclusion that he clearly wasn’t. He hadn’t meant to almost kiss you. But when he heard you cheering for him again, saw you running to him when he won, he couldn’t help it.
It was like instinct. He couldn’t stop himself. Thank the Norns for his brother. There’s a sentiment he hadn’t thought often. But what would he have done if he wasn’t interrupted? He was so distracted the rest of the competition was a blur. Scott ended up winning out of pure dumb luck.

was i the asshole for refusing to pay a private contractor what they claimed i owed?
preface: i rent a townhouse that has both a front and a back yard, and the lawn mower broke (landlord refuses to fix it), so i was forced to find a landscaping company locally who could mow the grass in spring and summertime. i hate mowing so no real loss, plus i get to support local small businesses! score!
everyone around here sucks at communication (as in they just don't show up or respond to any texts, calls, or emails even when Maureen From The HOA is breathing down your neck) except for one company i've been using religiously ever since i found them. love these guys. quality work, excellent communication, affordable, flexible, these guys are the best and i have referred my neighbors to them as well.
at the beginning of spring 2023, money was kinda tight so i asked if they could only mow every three weeks. they told me no dice, only in two-week increments because they have a rolling scheduling of which neighborhoods get hit up on certain weeks. fair enough. i ask for a mow every four weeks. sure, the grass will get a little tall, but the HOA can shut up.
they come every two weeks instead and text AFTER they've already done the work, so i have to pay for it. i pay them promptly, but ask if they can please honor my wishes for it to be every four weeks, as we discussed. they honor that... once. and then go back to every two weeks. by this time, the grass is shooting up faster than expected and i still hate the HOA, so i sigh and let it go. every two weeks it is.
fast forward to late autumn as winter's rolling in and i'm writing the check for the last mow of the season when the guy calls and says "oh btw you owe hundreds of dollars we never told you about until just now".
somehow, they got it in their heads that they mowed my lawn every single week, and should be paid for that. not once did that happen. not only was there no communication about them having been there OR needing payment (remember how i said they were so good about communication? i have texts going back the entire season where they message me "hey we mowed your lawn today" every two weeks exactly, and what sense does it make for them to forget to say anything every other week on the nose?), but i think i would have noticed grass getting shorter for no reason. also remember how i specifically told them i wanted a mow every four weeks and never actually rescinded that request? it's in writing. it's in the text log. at no point did i ever approve this "weekly" work, even if they'd actually done it (which they didn't).
thing is, these guys are prompt and reliable. they're the best option i've got around these parts. they really don't strike me as the types to pull a fast one on me or scam me. i think it was a genuine, honest mistake and they got my house mixed up with someone else's in the ledger, and now they're out the money for work they legitimately performed... just not for me. i recommended them to my neighbors, remember? not impossible they got the house numbers for my street mixed up. a 6 can look like an 8, or a 7 like a 1 if your handwriting smudges.
i got so caught up in my kneejerk response of "hey what the fuck do you mean i owe money for work i told you i didn't want and you didn't actually do" that i didn't work with them to try to figure out what actually happened here, and now a local business got screwed over. WITAH?
What are these acronyms?
