#plus i dunno if i've ever raised a vulpix

so i started a rom silver run, since my cartridge doesn’t hold saves anymore, and over the course of several days i’ve gotten back to the same point i was at in the cartridge run, haha (which is just after catching sudowoodo)

i ended up with a different team since i’ve been playing mostly at night rather than the entire run taking place during the day, so right now i’ve got bayleef, jigglypuff, flaafy, ekans, hoothoot, and i just switched out geodude to bring in sudowoodo

bayleef and flaafy are staying with me for the long haul, and i’m trying out ekans/arbok because i don’t think i’ve ever used one before, i’m pretty neutral on keeping jigglypuff or hoothoot in the party long term, and i’ve only just gotten sudowoodo so that might change if i come across something that would fulfill the sameish role (though the deciding point for taking sudowoodo over geodude was the fighting type move)

also i realized bayleef can learn fury cutter? and has pretty excellent special defense? so he’s become my psychic killer, hopefully that’ll work out

oh, also i did not engineer this whatsoever, but every pokemon currently on my team except bayleef is female

so that’s how my most recent pokemon journey is going thus far

#ekans has bite so that's my dark move covered #there are apparently vulpix around here so i might catch one of those so i can take care of steel types easier #maybe trade out hoothoot for vulpix...... #since right now hoothoot is my grass/bug killer but uh vulpix could easily fulfill that role #plus i dunno if i've ever raised a vulpix? #i also kinda wanna get a phanpy/donphan at some point but i feel like finding a phanpy is a whole thing #but yeah i've got grass/bug moves on bayleef #flaafy has electric covered #ekans has dark and will get better poison moves later #sudowoodo has rock and fighting #oh.... gotta get a surf pokemon at some point..... hm #welp that's a problem for future me
