The red-haired man finally accepted your invitation to go to the mall with him. In between tight schedules and endless meetings, he finally took a day off from work after much pleading and pouting.

He wasn't particularly fond of the thick crowds or the weird looks sent his way when he was being pulled around by hand by you; a shorter, smaller person who frankly looked like a child in a candy store.

But despite the stoic expression on his face, he absolutely adored the way you would drag him into all your favorite stores and watch your face light up with every little thing you pick up.

"Diluc, look!" you shouted, holding up a small trinket that had reminded you of one of your pets at home. Your smile reached from ear to ear and how your eyes twinkled like stars under the lights. He was absolutely enamoured by you and you weren't even aware.

He smiled, placing a hand on the small of your back, "Do you want to buy it?" You nodded enthusiatically, excitedly pulling him to the register.

Handing it to the cashier, you pulled out your wallet to hand in the exact amount of Mora but the sound of the cashiers voice stopped you, "Have a good rest of your day, Mr. Ragnvindr!" She smiled, handing him the small bag and card.

He politely nodded, turning back to you and wrapping an arm around your waist. "But-" you spoke but he instead captured your lips in a kiss to shut you up, knowing what you were about to say next.

"I know, darling. Let me make up for the past week, m'kay?" He murmured, warm hand gingerly placed on your cheek and you only nodded in response, feeling aflame at our close proximity.

He smiled, warmth spreading across his chest as he realized the effect you had on him wasn't one-sided. You, however, switched up quickly and dragged him to your favorite store, the list of items in your head that you've been wishing to buy since forever.

"The arts and crafts store?" Diluc was confused, he thought you would have dragged him to a jewelry store or a clothing store knowing that you loved each of those things based on the size of your collection. "I thought you were going to drag me to get clothes or more rings."

You only grinned, "Well I don't really want to buy anything there right now. Besides," you dragged him further into the store, definitely amused at the stark contrast of the supplies to the color pallette he had on, "I've been wanting these stuff forever, 'luc!"

You practically vibrated with each step, the excitement of seeing all the different pens and tapes on your face also putting a smile on Diluc's.

You were practically glowing and he was absolutely whipped for you. "Anything you want, darling." He mumbled, a dazed look in his eyes as he only observed you as you explained what each item was and how you wanted to use it.

Do you have any advice for somebody who wants to reveal the fact that they are problematic on their main, but is really scared to do so?

I want to just live my truth and not care anymore, but the thought of losing people who I thought were my friends, and the thought of receiving a lot of harassment, scares me a lot. It's not like I'm completely pure on my main, I mean my AO3 is literally filled with incest, but it is possible that a lot of people who follow me haven't caught on yet. I know I shouldn't care about anti's clout, but this is the only place where I actually get complements on my art (even if they're not that many) and it's hard to have to possibly say goodbye to those praises and interactions.

But I'm just tired. I have so much stuff I want to post, that I'm scared to. There's a big twincest Au I have, that I really want to draw and write for! But I've put it off for so long in fear of what people will think of me.

I know their opinions don't matter, and I do know a couple of my friends who are secretly just as problematic as me and wont leave. I just, I dunno, I'm scared, antis and current fandom scare me a lot

I dont really think the people who would harass and call you out are real friends. And honestly, i dont think their compliments really... matter? Like i understand that getting positive feedback on your art feels amazing, and im probably the minority in that, but honestly? I would rather get no response than compliments from people whose opinions dont matter to me, or i actively try to avoid seeing even a glimpse of their takes. How did that saying go.. dont take criticism from people who you wouldnt ask advice from?

As for being scared of negative attention, I just block liberally and either insta delete or troll-answer bait-y asks. I feel like the anti/harassment threat is.. a tiny bit overfeared by some people. Yes, of course some people get a lot of hate and bait but usually you get a few asks, block them, and never hear it again until you have to block someone else a month later and thats the last of it. Yes some people get a /lot/ of attention but they're usually popular or are targeted specifically by someone (often on personal accounts rather than just being internet randos to each other)

If you want to reveal that you dont buy into anti bullshit gently, i'd rec just reblogging a few anti-harassment posts. Then maybe a few of a ship thats on the edge of "problematic." Then maybe a popular think-about-it anti-purity culture post (gaud has one thats very well and gently put). I mean i guess thats the safest route to like.... serving it slowly and letting people jump ship at their level of comfort? I mean, personally i would just post them twins fucking and enjoy the idea of people outraging (with the finger on the block button lol) but if you're not comfortable with that, maybe a soft boil would be easier.

And please remember, anti side is /not/ the default. It's /not/ the majority. I would personally not even call it 'real' fandom, its just the like plato's allegory of the cave of fandom, where the normies (for lack of a better term) saw us having fun and decided to join but then try and trample on our culture.

If you post your art someone will like it. A lot of people will love it. There are many many of us freaks and fandom olds who would greatly enjoy to see you free of the mainstream idea of fandom and would love to follow you and have fun together. Even if you lose the antis you will gain the essentials and those bonds will be stronger and not hinge on not saying the 'wrong' word ever.

can I just say that I just recently started watching sense8 for the first time and I'm literally only on episode 4 of season 1 but you can bet that I've read through every ao3 fic that makes sense to me canon wise, have written ideas upon ideas for these characters, and have cried for these characters only to find out it got cancelled in season 2. and now there's a book coming out and you can already bet i'm going to buy it because this story has already had me balling my eyes out AND IM NOT EVEN ON THE FIFTH EPISODE OF THE SHOW YET ! anyways, that's all to say my tumblr is, at some point in the future, going to be a sense8 blog.

this is so sick - I really didn't hate the episode, I thought athena's storyline was interesting esp. some of the rapist's lines like "ur a cop who happens to be a mother" I wish more people wrote about that because it's so interesting esp. w/ athena's last & her relationships. . and the Michael + Athena dynamic is literally my favorite. and I didn't think Bobby was out of character?? Harry is literally his child + his traumatic backstory with his other children? of course dude wilded the fuck out. I don't know. this episode got a lot of hate (which I understand because of the copganda) but alot of people j wanted to get back to buddie which is annoying. this show is an ensemble and I haven't seen significant Harry & Michael scenes in a long time.

(ALSO HARRY IS REALLY J LIKE ATHENA THAT SCENE WITH HIM AND MICHAEL WITH HIM BEING LIKE "IM FINE" PLS I LOVE YOU BUT NO. DONT DO AN ATHENA, HARRY (AND MICHAEL KNEW IT TOO FKFKKF))

eddie & ana's scene had me in tears - they had more chemistry in those 3 minutes than they're entire relationship and now I want fics where Ana and Eddie stay friends pls. I really feel like they would be bomb buddies. hate on the actress all you want, but I feel like Chris & Ana was amazing. and while I don't hate the fact that the actress is leaving, I do hate the fact that Ana is not going to be mentioned at all after this. I just wanna hear mentions like (buddie-centric since that's all people care about nowadays) Eddie & Buck going on a date and Chris hanging out with Ana for the day or sum like that. and don't even get me started on Maddie & Chimney. That lowkey traumatized me. my heart was literally hurting and then I had to go eat some comfort food because chimney and maddie had my heart breaking. wish maddie didn't go out like that, like other people have been saying, but j do understand why she did it even that doesn't make what she did right. but yeah.

I'm glad the big leap came on afterwards because I needed a reboot and something to laugh at (even tho that episode was wild !!!)
