AIR QUALITY WARNING

Hey fellow Northeasterners on Turtle Island, aka the USA and Canada! Recent wildfires are spreading smoke and dangerous air conditions across New England. I only realized this because of social media, so I'm spreading the news further with maps for visuals. Things are officially UNHEALTHY so everyone needs to be careful, especially anyone with heart or lung conditions.

If you're in NY, MA, RI, CT, NJ, etc, please be careful!

Close your windows (consider sealing them if it's really bad)

Wear respirator masks (ex N95s) outside

Turn on air filters if you've got them

Use fans inside to keep cool and keep air moving

Check for air coming in around window AC units! You can probably still use your AC, but remember that their filters generally don't block smoke.

Remember, wildfire smoke doesn't just include burnt up trees but can include all kinds of hazardous materials, so the less outside air inside your house the better. If you've got any DIY Corsi-Rosenthal Boxes around for COVID-19 filtration, they excel at filtering out other dangerous particles too. Here's a diagram for making one, :

Also, try to avoid strenuous activities (ex moving furniture, climbing lots of stairs, etc) and listen to your body's needs. If you need to lay down and do nothing for a while, go for it. Stay hydrated, especially if your throat is getting scratchy! If you've got asthma, make sure your meds are close by.

“Simple,” you say, “You have to stay still while I…” you lean in and plant a soft kiss on his cheek, then his jawline down to his throat. His eyes widen.

Miguel tries to hide his delight. “Is that all?” he feigns nonchalance.

“Oh no,” you tease, “there’s more.” You lean in again and brush your lips against his, only to pull away at the last second. The tension between you both is electric.

You wrap more webbing around him, leaving him barely able to move. “Aren’t you going to ask nicely to be set free?” you ask with a smirk.

His pride is legendary, but so is his wit. “No. Yo no ruego." (I don't beg.)"he retorts. He squirms lightly but his face is stoic as ever.

You lean in, your lips a breath away from his, and whisper, “We'll see about that.”

With a flicker in your eyes, you suddenly whip out a sharp nail file and make a quick, precise cut on the crotch of Miguel's suit, freeing his big member. The blue fabric splits apart, revealing his already hard cock.

 You gently glide your finger down the exposed area, and then look up at him with an innocent smile. Despite the unexpected action, Miguel remains unfazed, the moonlight reflecting in his eyes. “ You just had to ask, mi amor" he quips, his voice laced with humor.

A chuckle escapes your lips. "I'm just checking for hidden weapons, Spider. You never know with you." You kneel down, looking up at him with a mischievous smile.

You delicately trail your tongue up and down his length, punctuating your actions with playful, kittenish licks on his leaking tip. When you decide that you've teased him enough, you take his entire manhood into your mouth, your cheeks hollowing.

You can sense his intense, half-lidded gaze on you, accompanied by a soft growl escaping his lips.

He looks down at you, his chest heaving, sweat dripping off his brow.

With every head bob, he grunts louder, his teeth gritted and sweat dripping down his face.

“Mierda, mi sol. I’m close.” You could tell, his balls are tightening in your hand and his moans are growing louder, that was always his tell. But then without a warning and with one final plop you release him from your mouth. 

His eyes shoot open, the intense concentration breaking momentarily for a glare. “What the hell. What do you think you’re doing, Sunny?” his voice is strained, he thrusts his hips forward to get even a tiny bit of friction. Meanwhile, you are already gracefully risen to your feet and slowly lean closer, your breath grazing his ear. "Beg for it," you whisper. Miguel appears perplexed for a fleeting moment, stuttering, “I... I...”

Then, gathering himself, his voice becomes firm as he declares, “I do not beg.”

You grab his balls gently with one hand, while with the other, you tenderly and painfully slowly trace your fingers down his length. In response, a deep, primal growl escapes his throat.

With a raised eyebrow and a faint, teasing smirk, you inquire, "Huh? What was that?"

He seems to be in an internal struggle, trying desperately to retain control. His voice comes out as a soft whisper, “Please, let me cum.”

But your playful side is not quite satisfied. You continue your feathery caresses near his overstimulated tip, replying, “I didn’t quite catch that.”

Hey guys, with the recent garbage that's happened at Bungie and everyone feeling so downtrodden (especially the fan creatives questioning their work) I wanted to offer a little piece of hope. I won't be posting this to Twitter, as that should rightfully stay focused on those who have lost their jobs.

So I've been around a while. I remember watching the Destiny 1 beta and deciding to try out the game in its first year, and I've been playing it consistently as a PvE and story enjoyer ever since. As much as I look back fondly at Destiny 1, the recent events with Destiny 2 have brought up some really shitty memories of Destiny 1s years.

The original Destiny was a mess. To keep it short, Destiny's original story was complete, but senior management scraped the story entirely. Expansions did ok at bringing their own stories in, but the narrative foundation of the game was held together with duct tape and dreams. There were many other issues with Bungie, Activision, and senior management that loomed over us, but what I want you to take away from all this is what made Destiny survive.

Destiny survived because it's community thrived. The big YouTubers and streamers that were all just little channels making passionate videos with their friends. The art showcasing the (still beautiful) skyboxes, worlds, and characters of Destiny 1. And the stories! The wonderful fanfictions that took what little Destiny 1s narrative offered and spun life into flat characters, making Destiny's world bigger and brighter. Friends were made, rivalries occurred, but it was because of the community that loved creating and interacting with each other that Destiny 1 survived and Destiny 2 grew into what it is.

I won't lie, these recent events are particularly awful, even when considering Destiny 1 and Activision's history. But if you're a creative who's lost the will to continue with this game we love(d), please take comfort in the friends you've made here, the strong community you're in. This community is a cockroach in the gaming world, we'll survive the disgraced downfall of the game and the company if we have to, and we'll do it together.

If you're stepping away completely, you are well within reason and I'd love to see your next passion take off. If you're staying with the Destiny community out of love, or because it brings in money, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Create for the people that are here with you right now, not for any board room of executives or company making profits.

Anyway, I love you all, take care of yourselves and stay hydrated. I cannot express in words how much I love this community, and how much it has meant to me to be here for so long. I will stay with you all until the end and beyond.

i have finally made the decision to quit writing.

honestly, i knew this wouldn't be a permanent thing for me but i never thought i'd come this far. i started back in 2019 when i just used tumblr to dump all my drafts, but along the way, i have made some really fun memories and even reached a milestone of 1k+ followers which i never thought i'd achieve. i've also met some of the greatest people on here. i am beyond thankful for each and everyone of you, esp to those who i remain close with even outside of tumblr.

with school and work, i found very little time to write, and i also just don't have the motivation to anymore. even with the many drafts and the plans i have rotting in my notion, i just can't seem to sit down and work on them. i keep telling myself i'll come back to them one day but it just doesn't happen and i honestly don't think it will happen any time soon. to those waiting for sequels to different stories and/or for their requests to be fulfilled, i'm deeply sorry that i'm leaving you guys on cliffhangers. i guess you'll just never know if y/n ends up with yunjin or hanni in love the way you lie.

a huge part of me wanted to deactivate this account but with all the inboxes and seeing that people still come across my blog and its contents, i decided to leave it up. if anything, i'm probably also still gonna be on here to quietly lurk on everybody lmao

Find refuge if you don’t have air conditioning. There are public cooling shelters set up in many communities. There’s always window shopping in malls or large stores where you don’t have to buy anything. Many local cinemas offer free or discounted daily matinees during the summer where it’s plenty cool. The public library, senior centers, various gov’t buildings, the super market, whatever it takes to keep cool. This is serious if you are some place where the temperature is 100 plus degrees and remember to stay hydrated.

Drink plenty of water or Gatorade if you are going to be active. Energy drinks with lots of caffeine and sugar will dehydrate you as will alcohol or coffee. Be advised that “energy” drinks are not “sports” drinks like Gatorade which is meant to keep you hydrated.

Stay out of direct sunlight. Heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and severe sun burns are no joke and can make you very I’ll or even be fatal. Use sunblock if you need to be in the sun. Do not use tanning products as these are accelerants designed to make you darker faster and will speed up the time to burn you. Everyone can suffer from too much sun even if you are naturally dark and it doesn’t readily show.

Take care of yourselves and bear in mind that paved surfaces, open air seating, and objects exposed to the sun (especially metal or dark colored) can severely burn you if you come into contact with them in triple degree weather. Also please don’t leave children, the elderly, or pets in parked cars.

How to bind safety in hot weather!

advice from your queer dad

- drink lots of water! I don't wanna see any of you suckers dehydrated, especially if you bind!!

- if you feel any stabbing or aching pain, take a break and take it off

- as well as this, if you feel too hot or short of breath, take a break and take it off

- bathroom stalls are great for binder breaks because it's private

- wash your binders!! Please!!! It can cause real skin problems, for some advice on washing it go here

- try and wear outfits that will keep you cool, yes I know dysphoria sucks but you know what sucks worse than dysphoria? Heat stroke

- don't wear it for more than 8 hours. Don't do it.

- personally, I've found that a darker coloured binder (black, navy) is better because if you through a button up on top, bam! It just looks like a tank top

- stretches! God, stretches help so much- there's a lot out of there, do some research and see what helps you

Stay cool and have fun kids! Remember hydrate don't diedrate. Take care of yourselves.

Being a system can come with headaches in and of itself, and this post is for systems who have to deal with chronic migraines on top of that!

Please remember to put your health first and take care of your headmates and the body. Whether that means staying hydrated, eating a nutritious snack, taking a nap, dimming/turning off the lights, asking people around you to turn down the TV/watch their volume, taking pain medication, or anything else, know that it’s okay to try to find comfort and ask for help or accommodations!

For me on the writing side, I was technically on holiday! I wrote a lot of Underline the Red and a lot of Palmarosa. I played a whole lot of different video games, started watching Bridgerton, and did a bunch of gardening. 

All in all, we landed in a space of 31,041 words! And I'm absolutely raring to go for NaNoWriMo, where I'm aiming to write either 60,000 words or write 20 chapters, whichever comes first. Wish me luck and to remember to hydrate :D 

In November, I'm going to be smashing out a lot of our core stories - Underline the Black, The Nascent Diplomat, Constellations and then likely also fanfic like A Stain that Won't Dissolve and hopefully there's some time for Palmarosa in there! 

I will probably launch Constellations on AO3 in December. 

November is likely to be another hectic month with updates, and hopefully it means you get to pick your favourite stories to focus on :D

I'll see you all in November! It's definitely getting hotter now, and we have snapdragons and moss roses in our garden, and soon - hopefully - some dahlias too. Many of the Australian native plants have stopped flowering in preparation for the heat, because our plants know summer is not the best time to flower - pretty weird when you compare that to much of the southern hemisphere!

Update 4: For my Shū’s birthday fic “pluto transform me (turn off my lonely)” the last chapter is in the works, I’ve found myself scrapping and rewriting ideas since I didn’t like how it played out.

But for those who’ve waited, a small teaser is…it’ll be centered around Shū and Reiji’s relationship, yet again.

Collei

Collei has always been particularly hard on herself, but today has been much worse. Tighnari told her to stay at home due to a flare-up of her Eleazar. Sighing in frustration and dismay, she begins to gather up the herbs from the counter to make medicine. As she sets them all upon the tray, her hands begin to shake and in a sudden clatter everything falls to the floor. Looking down in disbelief her eyes prickle with tears that threaten to fall.

Having just arrived to Master Tighnari's house to pick up your medicine you hear the sudden clatter and the gentle sniffles of Collei. Rushing into the house you find a slumped over Collei, crying softly into her hands and crouching down to the ground next to her; your eyes are filled with worry.

"Collei? Is everything alright?"

You ask softly and she jumps from fright, "A-Ah! O-oh...Y/N, you startled me...I-I'm fine, I just..." she trails off beginning to cry again. Eyeing her trembling body and the mess on the floor you connect the dots.

"Listen, Collei. Please be gentle with yourself. You've gone through so much and look at your growth! You've come so far and you're still growing strong. Remember, progress, not perfection. Even if you take the smallest of steps, you're still showing your growth in the most brilliant way possible."

You say softly, laying a gentle hand on her back, rubbing small circles around it in a comforting manner and for a moment Collei turns to you, her tears stopping and she smiles brightly, her eyes lighting up, "Y-you're right! Goodness what am I doing? Thank you, Y/N! You really cheered me up," she says happily, wiping her tears away. And with a new and improved positive attitude she quickly picks up her mess with a smile as you help her.

"Thank you again, Y/N. I'll cherish your words forever."

my statement. thank you for your patience.

hey everyone. there’s a lot i can’t say right now, because behind the scenes things have gotten pretty insane, to say the least. i want to ask that people not try to contact orion through me, or anyone else, as i’m not in contact with him at the moment. for the foreseeable future, he won’t be reachable. please don’t spam his social media, or the social media of anyone involved who hasn’t made a statement yet. we either can’t respond for various reasons or are processing quite a shocking situation. as for what i think, personally—it’s so much more complicated than i ever thought it could be. i am learning things about my partner i never thought i would learn, and seeing things about others i never thought i’d see. there’s a lot that’s happened in the past couple days that i can’t and don’t want to make public right now, because i’m frankly shaken to my very core, and i’ve been advised by multiple mental health professionals to take a step back from the situation, which i’ve done to the best of my ability. but i know i need to say something, so here it is. i hope you understand that i can’t say much without being able to talk to either major party involved. i acted in the way i thought was right, with all the details i was given at the time, and now i am very unsure of what to do. i will need time and space to process. i didn’t know about a lot of what has been revealed. i wish i could share more with you, to give you a clearer picture of what’s happening on our end. but i can’t. please understand that. i want to say that i strongly condemn the transphobic and antisemitic abuse that is being spewed by some very hateful people right now. there is no excuse to be bigoted towards entire groups, no matter what you think of an individual. posting nazi propaganda is not helping anyone. please call this out when you see it. thank you for anyone who has showed me kindness, especially to my friends (whether online or physical) who have been endlessly patient with me. thank you to everyone who has been showing maturity and restraint in their words, no matter their opinion. i hope everyone reading this is well. please take care of yourselves, stay hydrated, and remember to catch some sunlight.
