How much would you say Vanessa takes after Doof?

Physically? She seems to have inherited his physical development as, judging by "Act Your Age," Vanessa's character model stays the same in adulthood much like how Doof hasn't changed all that much since his teenage years. (I’m not entirely sure if her hair color being lighter than Charlene’s but darker than Doof’s is also because of him since it’s been roughly a decade since i’ve even thought of the term “Punnett square,” but that might be a thing as well.) In terms of mannerisms and the like, i'd say she's been influenced by Doof quite a bit!

#evil is the one area where vanessa wasn't influenced by him though (she got influenced by perry to be good instead haha) #hmm come to think of it norm was influenced by perry as well....he's just got that strong platydad aura i suppose #asks #anon

can you go into Vanessa and Perry’s relationship? it seems like at certain times Vanessa treats Perry as a part of the family.

You hit the nail on the head: due to the close nemesis relationship Perry shares with Doof, Perry essentially acts as Vanessa's platypus dad (or "platydad," as I like to call it) in the Doofenshmirtz family!

While Vanessa and Perry appear to have first formally met in “The Magnificent Few” during the summer that PnF takes place in (despite Doof and Perry having been nemeses for years at this point), 

Vanessa quickly comes to accept Perry as a constant fixture in her life.

In terms of when their relationship began to shift from acquaintances to a more familial vein, Perry helping her save face in front of “the only people whose opinions matter to [her]“ (”Brain Drain”) during “Dude, We’re Getting the Band Back Together“ in addition to helping Doof throw her (judging from her unhappy face in pictures from past birthdays) the best birthday party she’s ever received seems to have been the catalyst for Vanessa and Perry becoming closer.

At the crux of Vanessa’s interactions with Perry is, of course, Doof. With Charlene consistently not believing her when Vanessa tells her that Doof is Evil,

Perry serves as an adult figure in her life to turn to when Doof’s plans go awry or when Doof’s Evil alignment clashes with her own goals.

Similarly, Perry takes comfort in being able to share with someone the various points of exasperation that Doof’s antics tend to put those close to him through.

(Though Perry himself isn’t immune to occasionally being swayed by such antics.)

Contrasting with Doof’s attempts to get Vanessa to take an interest in the “family business” (”I Scream, You Scream”) of Evil, 

Perry can also be seen as a guiding influence on Vanessa toward the path of Good, and he seems to take pride in her Good endeavors.

Notably, as Doof openly considers Perry to be family 

with Norm seeming to also do so,

Vanessa treating Perry as family definitely aligns with how the rest of her family feels.

This started with me just doodling the cutie in the left corner... Then I remembered CerberusTheTerrible (middle phinny) and Galaxina-the-Magi 's (right phinny) little gremlins who are perfect in every sense. So of COURSE I had to draw them... If you haven't checked those two artist out you should. Cause they draw a ton of cool stuff. Then I remembered I used to draw ALOT of PnF Rule63 so there's Poppy, I guess. She's adorable and I gotta draw her more. Also I'm sorry @/Galaxina-the-Magi, but I don't know what Phineas' color palette is, so I had to take some artistic creativity. His little coat and scarf make me think of a pirate so I went in that direction. ....i dont know what platydads phin is upset about, but everyone's still standing so i guess its nothing serious... Your platy dad au is very interesting and I kinda want to know the lore, how Perry adopted Phineas and Ferb. Why Linda and Lawrence aren't in the picture? What caused such a dramatic personality shift in the main cast? etc.

You don't have to answer this I'm just sending this so you know that I'm interested.

It's been such a a long time since I've shared any kind of lore for anything, so I'm a bit rusty, I even kinda suck at doing these, and I'm really sorry if it looks/is rushed but I really wanna answer 😭

Linda and Lawrence suddenly disappeared one day while on a date (but I will say they're not dead), the kids were home when it happened. And all of a sudden they were going be taken away- but it was also suspicious on how fast these "authorities" came, so Perry, having to give up his cover, took it upon himself to take the kids under his wing and adopt them so they wouldn't be separated and thanks to Doof (he's a good guy who still does inators for fun) for providing evidence that he can take care of the kids, and that Doof himself was raised by ocelots

It's Danville, no one really questions stuff much, so they just let him lmaoo

So the kids (including the gang, cuz they also know too much now) goes into a "OWCA protection" program, much to the dismay of Perry, but the kids needed some training cuz something fishy was going on, and were given assigned agents. Peter The Panda and Perry were off teaching the Flynn-Fletcher kids while the other agents dealt with the others- everything's turning alright. And it goes on after weeks of them all getting to know each other

Turns out Peter had been a snitch the entire time and has doing some shady things for someone in tri-state area, and that knowing and even finding out about this fact greatly upsets Phineas cuz he thought they were all friends and he gets his tooth busted by Peter so he can make a quick getaway and burning down bridges he made

This causes a total shift in Phineas' outgoing personality and snaps. With his parents disappearance and someone he thought was a friend betraying them and him being hurt- everything echoes and weight just piles down upon his shoulders

(The others like Isabella, Buford and Baljeet, weren't at all like the originals in the first place, they molded into their own thing- Buford and Baljeet kinda staying the same in a way??

With Candace and Ferb, they kinda also molded into their own thing, something opposite of their og, but I kinda based Platydad!Phineas on the original, snarky Phineas from the beginning and also gave some of that snark to Ferb as well xD)
