Itachi could only drift his attention off Kakashi and onto the pot of stew that was sitting on the counter to cool before looking back at his former Anbu captain when he heard him ask on what it was that he cooked and that it looked like it has been through hell." It... was supposed to be a stew..." the Uchiha replied and was about to explain to the Sharingan user on what had happened to the meal he was preparing for his and Sasuke's dinner, but before he could tell Kakashi what happened, he picked up on the Jounin saying he almost felt bad for whoever was going eat it. Not long after Itachi looked towards the burnt food once more with his eyebrows lowering then moved and took the oven mitts off the counter to place them over his hands before picking up the pot and walked towards the garbage can to throw it out because there was no way he'd let Sasuke even think about eating it once he returned home from doing some errands around the village. But as the Uchiha leaned over the garbage trying to scrap the burnt food out of the pot, he noticed it was too stuck to the inside of the pot and guessed it might have to soak a while before he was able to clean it and put it away. Knowing there was no sense wasting time trying to get it out, the Uchiha placed it on the table before looking towards Kakashi once more to reply to his words. "And don't worry...I'll make sure that this is gone before my younger brother gets home." he responded hoping deep down his younger brother's sensei didn't think that this happens regularly and Sasuke eats burnt food whenever he cooks the meals.

The afternoon orange sky’s colors start to fade into the night sky’s purple as the lone Kabuto quietly strolls around the dreaded Forest of Death outer fence area. Taking mental note of the new surveillance cameras that were installed and which positions they’re facing so that it would be more easier for him to be able to sneak around while inside of the forest for the upcoming Chuunin exams that is only months away. Last year, he almost got caught taking a sample of a deceased Hidden Rain genin who’s abilities would come in handy for Orochimaru to use. He only had to lie to his instructors that he was checking if they had the scroll. He made that mistake once, he wasn’t planning on making it again this year. 

He stops as he hears someone’s footsteps come from behind him, he turns his head to glance at them from the side only to see him. The famous Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan. Not only he’s the most competent shinobi the Hidden Leaf has ever produced, he was also Kabuto’s secret lover. Not that it was Kabuto’s intention since this wasn’t part of Kabuto’s plan when he was ordered to spy on Konoha. But like many mysterious things in life, it happened. And now Kabuto had to play his part to the end. 

He internally frowns, he didn’t even know how did they found him here other than his ninken summons. Guess he’ll have to return another time.  Fully turning himself to their direction, he nervously laughs at the jonin with a smile, “You startled me Kakashi. I wasn’t expecting you to be here of all places. Let alone being able to find me.”

           It was always awkward to meet up enemies, it doubled up when it was in places that were sociable unacceptable to fight, like in the showers of a public bathroom where they were. Kisame tried to ignore at first, but after Kakashi turned around he couldn’t contain his laugh anymore. “ HahAHhaHAha! Konoha’s nin are really pathetic after all. Oh, so the gray hair’s natural? So weird. Hatake san.” He finished showering his hair, giving a strong tweak at the handler; breaking it. Walking past the man as he tied down a towel on the hips. “OOOi, This weird guy with gray hair is just breaking stuff here ~ Call the police or something. ”

Kabuto immediately pushes Kakashi away, taking a rather large step back as he does so. He’s in no position to lash out - any display of Jonin-level force would out him as a spy immediately - but it doesn’t mean he’s at all comfortable with the older Shinobi’s advances.
