BREAD EATS BREAD
Jeongin was your first everything; it was your turn to do some firsts for your boyfriend on his special day.

bf!Jeongin x gn!Reader Genre — Fluff, Crack, Suggestive Warnings — Cursing ? Word Count — 1.6k —̳͟͞͞♡Author's Note: Happy birthday to our Maknae on Top AKA Jeongin. We love you so much, Innie! Credits: Brown ribbon divider by @chachachannah
Tumblr media
On this rare day, Jeongin is able to do his birthday live as early as he can to get to the company and then he is free to do whatever the hell he wants. So this morning, Jeongin jumped out of bed as soon as he heard the alarms go off, threw on any outfit, gave you a kiss on your head and went straight to the company to get it over with. Afterall, his other half is still asleep.
Or so he thought. Peeking one eye out from the covers, you panned the room to make sure he was really gone. You threw off the blanket that Jeongin had tucked you into and made your way to the bathroom to get ready for the biggest surprise you were going to execute.
When you finished in the bathroom, you headed to your office where you hid Jeongin’s surprises. Beige-colored balloons crowded the entrance to the door as you opened the door slowly. You were surprised that Jeongin hadn’t opened the door because you could clearly see obstructions from the other side of the door. It literally looked like you were recreating the movie ‘Up’ in the small 10x10 room. You had to grab handfuls of the balloons by their strings to get the room to somewhat clear up. Not to mention, you also had to kick some from the floor as they were blown by your own oxygen. Although blowing up balloons last night gave you a massive headache, your living room is now beautifully filled with brown, beige and cream colored balloons.
Stage 1 was complete and it was time for stage 2— put up the banners and get one of his birthday meals ready. You got clear thumb tacks to hold up the “Happy Birthday Jeongin!” banner that had little drawings of bread on it. It hung in a crescent shape on the wall above the couch amongst the other balloons.
It was now time to pick up the order from Jeongin’s favorite bakery. Yes, the bakery was an hour away from Seoul, but he absolutely loved it there. There was something about the crispness of the croissants and the moist cakes that made him bring them back home every time he visited. But with a constant busy schedule, it was nearly impossible to get them even when he craved them so much (Which he would not shut up about).
You locked up the apartment to catch the soonest train. You were going to do anything to make sure he gets the best on his special day.
Tumblr media
Once the train stopped, you swear you were running up the escalator to get his goodies. Then, it caught your eye. A bouquet of flowers laying on a plastic table captures your attention. It would be stupid to walk away and ignore these flowers right now so you could beat Jeongin before he comes home. Reaching for your wallet, you grab the bunch and present them to the old couple selling them.
“May I purchase this, please?” You pant, shakily handing them the bouquet. One of them takes the bouquet to wrap. “What’s the occasion, kid?” He asks with eyes focused on wrapping the flowers in a brown cellophane with a white ribbon.
“It’s my boyfriend’s birthday”
“He’s a lucky guy, I see”
“I think I’m the lucky one”
The man hands you the finished product with a smile. “Love is a great gift. Happy birthday to your partner”. You left the stand and thanked them continuously. When you were walking away, you found yourself looking down at your flowers and back at the couple who sold you the flowers.
Maybe in years time, you and Jeongin would be like them, selling god-knows-what. Just simply living the rest of your years together.
Tumblr media
Though flowers were not on your list, you were grateful that you got them. It didn’t interfere with picking up the baked treats and you were still on time to catch the train back home. Jeongin was still on live playing some kind of game that the staff put him up to. You continued to watch his live on the train until you got home to keep an eye on him.
Finally being able to do the finishing touches for his mini surprise party, Jeongin texts you.
Innie: On my way back home! You up, my baby?
Innie: What should we do today ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Y/n: Just come home, baby boy >;)
Tumblr media
Jeongin was on the other side of the door. He didn't know why you were being so suspicious yet he still listens to you and comes home. He slowly pushed the numbers on the door’s keypad and pushed the door open.
“SUUUUUURPRISE, INNIE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY BOY!!!”  You hop into his arms that were wide open. The amount of light entering your home was giving the sun a run for its money. You both smiled from ear to ear as guys hugged each other so tightly. He was caught off guard seeing the balloon bakery you made the living room into. It made him laugh so hard.
“THANK YOU!” He shouts playfully, setting you back down. “How did you even do all of this while I was gone?”
“I have my ways… Oh and these flowers… they’re for you!” You briefly went into the kitchen and handed him the bouquet. If his eyes weren’t already so filled with happiness, the flowers did it 100 times more. He brought the assorted flora to his nose then wiped away a tear from his eyes.
“Wow… I don’t— I don’t know what to say” Your hand reaches to his cheek to brush the fading trail from the tear. “That’s not all, birthday boy”. You skipped to the kitchen again with the white box. It didn’t take him long to realize what it was. "TAADAAA!!" He covers his face with his hands and giggles.
“You remembered?”
“How could I forget when my boyfriend misses his favorite snack everyday?” You open the box and take one of the croissants out. “Ahhh” You say, holding it in front of his mouth. He opens his mouth and bites the whole thing. He closes his eyes and takes in the crispy, buttery taste. “I forgot how good this was”
You watch his croissant-filled cheeks move up and down as he chews. You pressed a soft kiss on his lips, not being able to contain your admiration for the boy. It didn’t help that a few crumbs sprinkled the corners of his mouth that had to kiss away as well. Savoring the last bits of the piece he ate, he takes your hand to the living room.
“What am I gonna do with you? Look at all this, baby” He smiles, hitting balloons all across the room.
“Do you like it?”
He scoffs, “Like it? I love it!” Jeongin hits a balloon towards your face which does land. Squinting your eyes, you challenge him. You get a balloon and chase him around the living room.  Jeongin kicks the floor balloons in your way to slow you down but it doesn’t work. You’ve trapped him back to the couch where you straddle him and rub the balloon on his hair, making him electric. You stick your finger close to his exposed arms and halt.
“DON’T ZAP ME!” He whines.
“Then I will eat you instead!!!!” A little playful nom nom on your boyfriend’s shoulder never felt better. You only bit softly at his skin.
“AHHHH STOP!! IT TICKLES!!!” He squealed and squirmed.
“NO!”
“Hehehehehehehe”
Gently tugging his skin away, you let go and look at him with a pout. He mirrors you and sticks out his tongue.
“It’s my birthday. You’re supposed to listen to me”
“No, you’re supposed to sit back and have fun!”
“Do you want me to get another balloon?”
“Say that again, birthday boy and you’re not getting your birthday kisses” He gasps dramatically, covering his mouth as if he was given the most shocking news in his life.
“How could you?!”
“Do you want your kisses, yes or no?”
“Why would I say no?”
“Oh my god, just come here and shut up”
Jeongin giggles as he puts his hands on your waist before you lean in to kiss his lips.“Make sure it’s 23… or more if you want”
“Shhhh, birthday boy”
He could kiss you all day. It just makes him feel so warm and gleeful. While you give him a breather from his birthday smooches, his mind goes somewhere else when his eyes start to look around the room during . No one has ever put this much effort for him. The thought of getting flowers that he liked, getting the best baked treats of all time that he craved so much, getting up early to flip the house into a bakery baffled him. How could someone love him this much? The day barely even got started!
“...21…22…23! 23 kisses of love for my love” You exclaimed. You move off to the side of him and lean your head onto his shoulder. Jeongin takes your hand in his and rests it on his thigh.
“Y/n, thank you”
“No, thank you for being on this planet”
“Seriously though… I can’t believe this is all for me”
“It’s because you deserve this. You deserve this and more”
“Oh yeah? Does that mean you’ll do this for me every day?”
“Is this a proposal that you want to marry me?”
“I’ll marry you. You know that”
Jeongin leans his head against yours, settling in the moment of comforting silence that now surrounds you two. Jeongin can’t wrap his head around this amount of love. He can’t wait to see what else the day entails.

Eren being grossed out at the giant dark hairball you have on a paper plate and you're like "what, don't recognize your own work?🤨" It's all of his hair that's been clogging up the shower and sink. You could probably make a whole weave out of it. A very nasty weave, but still.
when i tell you i freaking SCREAMED at this 😭😭😭 because this boy coming straight in from his mamas house, dont know NUTIN bout not washing your hair down the drain!! that it in fact does have repercussions and it doesn’t just disappear simply because you can’t see it 😐😐
“Ew, what the fuck?!”
You hear Eren yelp before you physically see him and granting how dramatic he was, you know it won’t be long before he was going to come and report it to you personally.
As predicted, the man pattered into the living room with a plastic plate — the contents on said plate absolutely rank.
“What is this?!” He chucked the item on top of the coffee table, his face full of disgust as some of the sludgy water splashed everywhere.
Pulling a disgruntled face, you look up at him with disscontempt.
“Your hair.” You say matter-of-factly.
Eren eyes widen.
“I— My hair?!”
Rolling your eyes, you move the plate away from you with your foot. Sometimes you genuinely felt like you were looking after a child rather than co-living with a grown man.
“Yes, your hair.”
Eren leaned his head to the side as he gave you a knowing look. He cocked his hips before pursing his lips begrudgingly.
“Girl, don’t lie to me.”
“Eren, I’m— BOY, LOOK AT IT!”
Finally having your nerves pressed, you picked up the plate before shoving it in Eren’s direction.
“It’s your hair!” You emphasise.
As if seeing the item in a new light, Eren made a whiney noises as he stroked at the healthy hair on his head.
“Oh noooo… my hair.” Taking the plate from your hands, Eren pouted as he poked at the nasty tangled hairball. You could almost gag at his affection towards it.
“I’ll mourn you my kin.” He fake sniffs although for a moment, you don’t believe he was faking it. “I’ll make you into a lovely long weave piece to commemorate my lost.”
Eren then looks towards you.
You can already tell with the way his eyes looked solemn, they were really layered with mischief. Ladling the plate closer in your direction, he looks at you with wide doe eyes.
“Kiss it.” He whispers in a croaky voice.
With a squeamish squeal, you pushed the man away from you with your foot.
“Eren, don’t you dare!”

Thorns In His Mouth
Part VI
Tumblr media
Pairing: fae!Steve Rogers x reader
Warnings: obsession, dubious consent, minor character death, drugs (neither reader nor Steve are involved), slight eating disorder, mentions of tumor, high tech elves.
Words: 1.3k
Summary: Maybe it was a good idea to chat with a waitress a bit more once she brought you your order. Perhaps she could at least tell you with whom you should speak because you simply couldn’t force yourself to look at others, most of them already high, shouting something loudly or laughing or weeping. You could constantly hear the flapping of someone’s wings, weird whispers and noises, and the sound of boots and hooves that made your hair stand on end.
Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV | Part V
________
You stared at the earrings, dumbfounded. Did he say "we"? Was Steve going to look for that elf together with you?
Apparently, you just voiced your thoughts absent-mindedly because Steve murmured something and took you by the arm, moving to the café you despised with all your being.
It was much quieter inside tonight, though. There were only a few fair folk, and they were all silently eating or drinking something: the noisy company doing drugs and who knows what else yesterday was nowhere to be seen. Thank God.
As you fell on your seat, Steve taking a place on the other side of a minuscule plastic table, a familiar fae with bright pink hair approached you two. She threw a quick glance at you, pursing her lips at the sight of Steve, but then vanished to the kitchen without a word, probably to bring you the same sweet cupcake she had given you yesterday.
Staring at the elf with furiously bleached hair, you stilled, not knowing how to start a conversation with him again. What could you even say? Why did he want to accompany you on your quest? He had nothing to gain from it. Even the earrings you had given him he returned back to you, and you've never had of any fae returning human gifts. Granted, you weren't a big specialist, but it seemed strange, nonetheless.
Why was he so invested in your search?
The question was probably written all over your face because Steve gave a shaky laugh and rubbed his eyes tiredly as if he had a hard time explaining his reasons.
"I'm a former High elf, too," he started, watching confusion forming on your face while he gave you an unhappy smile. "I held a very high position at my court. Probably among the highest, compared to the others' here. Thus, I'm a Watcher. I watch over the exiled fae and elves, help them when I can, control them so they won't do anything stupid, and end somewhere worse than here. I keep in contact with humans, those who know who we are, and see that everyone abides by the rules. I'm the most useful companion to you if you want to find someone."
His words took you aback. This malnourished, anxious elf with his badly bleached hair and unnaturally long limbs was the most powerful of the exiled fair folk? Truly? Could you take his word for it? Oh, he did mention fae couldn't lie, but it was hard to believe he was telling you the truth.
For a second, you felt a little disappointed. You imagined someone like Watcher to be alike a fairy prince from the fairytale, magnificent in his glory, tall and strong, impeccably built, with his hair shining stunningly in the moonlight as he sat a top of his giant war horse. You did not, by any means, expect to find a Watcher to be a man looking like a 90s model addicted to heroine.
"But why do you want to help?" You asked very carefully, masking you disappointment not to offend him. "I imagine I have nothing of value to give you in exchange."
Suddenly, he smiled, albeit sadly.
"You needn't give me anything. I already owe you for what you did for my kin."
Again, a mystery. You were getting tired of his inadequate responses.
Seeing you bewildered, Steve continued, "You wept when Julius died. You regretted him leaving. Nobody else would do it for him, but you did, and now he's where he should be, at peace. If not for you, his journey would be... an arduous one."
His words made you silent, and you immediately forgot all the questions you were going to ask him. He had said something similar yesterday, hadn't he? Something about it being good that you cried at the sight of Julius' body, although you couldn't even imagine what good did it do to the dead elf. Was Steve talking about a reincarnation or something? Or Julius' spirit returning back to his homeland? You had no idea, but at the memory of a dead elf lying breathless on the sofa your anxiety rose again, and you clutched the pearl earrings in your hand until it started to hurt.
"Why wasn't it enough that you cried for him?" You asked out of nowhere, still searching for some proof Steve was tricking you.
He sighed, "I didn't cry."
Didn't he? You couldn't remember, his face but a blur after you had run up the stairs and collapsed outside of an abandoned factory.
No, you couldn't remember him crying.
"He was one of us," Steve muttered, accepting a black CD pack from a waitress who appeared out of nowhere, leaving a plate with you cupcake quietly on the table before she left without a word. "And I will miss him, but neither my folk nor me weep like you do. Unless on a very special occasion, a death of our beloved or a child, perhaps. But you... you humans know a great deal about compassion and sorrow. Your tears weight more than mine."
His words struck you to your core, and for a few seconds, you just sat there in silence, staring at the distressed - or rather just ancient and rugged - black leather of his jacket. No one had ever said anything like that to you. On the contrary, your therapist mentioned many times it's not healthy to be overly sympathetic and sensitive, to the point when someone's troubles made you troubled. You had to learn to keep your head cool, he said, because no one would profit from your worry. If you wanted to help someone, you needed to stay sane and safe first.
And here he was, this strange, somewhat scary and somewhat beautiful elf, telling you Julius got to his safe place because you had cried for him.
"It's strange, how your world works," you murmured, directing your gaze to the very same leather jacket as if you were talking to it.
Steve gave a laugh, shifting in his uncomfortable plastic chair while a fairy waitress stared at him intently behind his back, her hand resting on a bar counter.
"No stranger than yours." He smiled and made a small gesture with his left hand you barely registered, and the waitress abruptly turned away from you two with a blank expression on her face. "Then it's settled. I'll bring you to one more of my folks today, and you'll tell him your story. He's not a drug addict, by the way."
It was a very nice addition, you shrugged and bit into your cupcake that tasted as heavenly as yesterday. Were you going to develop diabetes if you ate it every day? You hoped not, although it was a small price to pay for the life of your mother.
"Actually, I wanted to mention it the last time. Do you know anything about our kind? Anything at all?" The elf asked nonchalantly, tucking a strand of hair behind his perfectly human ear. Seeing you froze, he chuckled, "It's fine. I'm with you. But it'd be better if you knew at least the basics, so I recommend doing some reading and using my advice for now."
"Of- of course," you immediately answered back, stuffing the rest of the cupcake in your mouth and hurriedly wiping your lips. "I'd be very grateful for any advice!"
________
He liked what you said. His face lit up, the corners of his big mouth turning upward. Before you had a chance to say anything else, he's already at the door, leaving a five dollar bill on the counter and motioning you to follow him God knows where. It's still a bit scary, to go after a strange, twisted but still weirdly attractive creature who moved with such grace even with his oddly long limbs and whose hair looked a little otherworldly despite the cheap bleach he used. But you're alone in this unfamiliar world without him, and you didn't think twice before you jumped off your seat, handing the waitress one more five dollar bill and running after Steve.

Happy Smutty Shisui Sunday! I didn’t forget about my man.
This week I went to hell and back and back and back some more. Hardly had any Shisui or Uchiha simpy time for myself. 😩😭 Completely missed my ovulation horny thirst week!! I hope this makes up for it, to you and to me.
Ovulating or not, I’m still unbearably horny for this man.
NSFW; Shisui has been busting fat loads of his cum inside of you. In hopes that you’d end up pregnant & yes, I know Shisui’s birthday has passed. Consider this some sort of retroactive celebration on top of Shisui smutty Sundays.
WC: an ungodly amount of horny brain goes brrrr; mostly edited. My eye started to twitch so yea.
Well. Obviously after about six months he starts to think something is wrong with him or you. He wasn’t entirely shy when it came to making sure he thrusted his warm cum deep at your cervix. And even so far as to repeatedly fucking one load after another into you. You just sort of figured it was that Uchiha breeding kink and let him have his way to sate the desire. That maybe he couldn’t help it and that might be why you ended up beneath him for hours, folded like a pretzel and flipped over to be taken any which way.
Certainly the breeding was partial to it. Shisui really was and at some point admits to hoping you’d grow round with his baby. “…can we talk?”
Was there something wrong with the swim team? Last he checked; or well the yearly physical. They were in prime condition to root and grow inside your womb. There wasn’t a damn thing wrong with him. And maybe he peeped your file and saw everything was in working order for you as well.
“Shisui-kun.” You sit with him at the table; the concern that spreads his face is immaculate. “What’s wrong?”
How does he say this without coming off as weird and maybe even a bit creepy. “I’ve been trying to get you pregnant for the better half of a year and …” full stop when you grab his hand and squeeze.
“Oh, Shisui.” That soft smile he loves so much stretches your lips. “It’s severely impossible at this time.”
Severely?
Well how in the nine circles to hell was that? ‘At this time?’ So it could or had been possible before. “Explain this, please?” It sounded so desperate when he didn’t mean it to. The words wrapped around his larynx and dried his throat, and barely sounded normal as they scratched their way out.
“It’s called birth control.” You try not to laugh, how was he unaware of this? You’ve mentioned it in the past. Maybe long ago.
“No, I would have seen you take the pill. I figured you had stopped since…well, since things are more serious.” How cute was Shisui when he struggled to express his doubts, second guessing if he was full of it or not. Certainly he knew there were other forms of contraception. The look on his face as you explain what an intrauterine device was had you almost in tears of laughter. Even someone like Obito was aware of this.
To think that a measly piece of plastic wrapped in copper was interfering with his family planning!? This was inconceivable—literally! He was an Uchiha for fucks sake. How could something with no substance other than metal and plastic prevent such powerful genes from taking root. This simply did not sit well, but eventually passed as Shisui went through the phases of realization. It almost felt wasteful to think how many times he’s tirelessly laid you down, had you cramped beneath him. Talking filth of spilling into you and milking himself bone dry.
Hot and sweaty; orgasm after orgasm. Even a silent prayer to the gods that he would be blessed with a next of kin. The sour look on his face before he sheepishly smiles said it all as you speak. “I am sorry this disappoints you.”
In reality, couples talked before they had children. Shisui was an entirely different breed of man. He didn’t operate on reckless abandon but to say that the shock value of your uterus not being at his disposal was not something he counted on when he was purposely trying to fuck a baby in you. He almost looks pitiful.
Shrugs it off. Patching up his wounded ego, “it’s fine.” When it didn’t really feel fine. A small part of you felt guilty seeing him so forlorn over it.
And another deplorably sick part of you revels in it, how desperate was Shisui to make your body his in more ways than one. “We can talk about it sometime? Typically…this is a group decision.” With what little words he could manage now, Shisui deliberated the ordeal wasn’t in his favor.
That stung a bit. His irrational need to pump you full of his own personal brand of Uchiha specimen completely outweighed the rational sense of procreation. It was a dual effort and Shisui, too, felt a twinge of guilt. “I’m sorry.”
Yes, he was. You can see it, feel it. How adorably cute he looked with puppy dog reds. So caught in his emotions that the forehead kiss you planted took a beat for it to register. “No harm, no foul.” Your forgiveness was much appreciated. You took it far better than he anticipated in this instance.
From that day forward, a new idea populated in your mind. It was stupid as all hell, but what a better birthday gift than the very thing that tormented his ability to impregnate you. It crossed your doctor as weird when you asked if you could take it with you. Usually it was a firm no, this was a biological hazard. But having the privilege of dating one of the most influential men of all times, from the most prestigious clans the Hidden Village ever produced. The only time you would ever pull that sort of weight over your head. Shisui would surely not appreciate you using the Uchiha name to get what you wanted.
Much less to instill fear into the doctor with no recourse to back it up.
But it works in your favor. Wrapped up cute, the device rests in a small box. Of course this wasn’t a real gift, it was a gag. The real gift was some specially designed and crafted ninja tools, a subscription to that expensive ass hair care he bought throughout the year and well. Your undying love and affection of course. What better way to bring a man to his knees when he came home from a long mission than to tell him that your womb was for the taking? It was hardly romantic, how were you supposed to know this man would froth at the mouth as he entered the kitchen.
Well, you should have known. The skimpy crotchless lingerie you are wearing was a welcome surprise. Then bending over into the oven as if you hadn’t noticed he was there, I mean you did. Looking over your shoulder told you all you needed to see. That thousand yard stare as the kaleidoscope behind his eyes wound tight and instantaneously bled red. Even further widening to elicit what most would call formidable. It was a treat for you when Shisui salaciously threatened you with his Mangekyō. This was a special occasion.
There wasn’t any part of you that his eyes mapped out and took in as you approached him.
“Happy birthday.” You whisper, leaning up to pepper a soft kiss on either cheek before his eagerly opening lips nip at you. “Hungry?”
How easily she looked into the Mangekyō as if it wasn’t a loaded gun. “That’s an understatement.” His hands have been running up and down your sides already, thumbing at the lacy material that did fuck all for the imagination. It literally wrote the entire thing for him. “What’s this?”
Shisui obviously knew it was his birthday, though he hadn’t expected this display of affection. Ok; that’s a blatant lie. He did expect some sort of celebration but this was on an entirely different realm than what he considered.
The opener gag gift. That little wrapped box was easy tore through in swift fashion. Though, its contents perplexed him further. Looking to you again, red silk pearls spin wildly. “That was the baby inhibitor.”
Oh. This was the thing. “Was?” Mission lag had not been kind to Shisui, it was a rough few days. Too many stalled attempts before it was accomplished. But being a genius didn’t leave him entirely ignorant. “Oh.” Like, now it clicks. That this—this exact tiny thing was the actual thing. Which meant, “you’ve been liberated.”
It was a funny way to put it, but to Shisui it meant everything. It meant that he could actually move forward with you. Not that you hadn’t already been moving forward, but this was the sort of progression he desired most.
“…has it?” He asked again, your silence only made him reconsider, and as you held his face with both palms. You gave Shisui the most tender kiss, full-mouthed and deep, he whispered through broken kisses. “Are you truly prepared for this?”
Those words alone send a heat to pool in your lower stomach. That and Shisui’s hands gripping you tightly as they trembled at the curve of your waist. Whether it be excitement or lack of sleep. Probably lack of an actual meal too. He didn’t quite feel like eating dinner in this moment.
“The situation has been rectified.” Those simple yet effective words had more of a profound impact on Shisui. Had you not realized this was something he desperately needed? “It will take a few cycles—”
Words were futile for a man in Shisui’s position. This exact moment found you backwards walked in a series of scorching katon kisses. He nearly singed the back of your throat when he kissed you this way. Maddening him further was the soft touch to his belt as you unclamp it and untucked his cock. Searing more the same kisses your jaw, throat and chest when you stroked his flaming erection. How deliciously sweet but spicy that Uchiha katon tasted as it sat in the back of your esophagus.
Your dainty bodice was left somewhere in between the hall bathroom and the master bedroom door. You were already squirming on two fingers knuckle deep before your head hit the bed. Scoffed at the loss of his cock in your hand. That crotchless little thing had Shisui spreading your slick and tonguing at your clit before you put on whatever act you had planned.
“Your…gifts.” A hopeless mewl when you came on his mouth the first time, Shisui was far too gone.
“…fuck the gifts.” This was more precious than any gift, that you were fully capable of doing him the honors of taking his genetic material and making it into something so valuable and beautiful. “…I don’t care if you take to my seed today, tomorrow or next month. This right here is for practice.”
It wasn’t any sort of sex that you and Shisui had before. Sure, sex was sex when you looked at it from any angle. But this? This was being caged under a man who had little resolve left with his actions. By no means did he hurt or leave a mark that wasn’t planted with the utmost respect for you and your body. Red marks on either side of your neck, chest and thighs. Once Shisui determines you were properly worked out enough for him.
The twitch in his cock as he luridly strokes himself before you, wild eyed and tinted. As he divides you over his length, he shucks both your knees with his arms and full on dips the entirety of his hips into the padding of your ass. It’s almost painful when he presses into you this way.
Only then did he fuck you mercilessly. The consistent deep thrusts are the first to make your eyes roll shut. Hardly ever did he use his teeth, but when you moaned out his name like that. Needy and wanting. There wasn’t anything else he thought of than to bite every inch of skin his mouth came across. You were cramped up so snug beneath him, completely immobilized and at his mercy. The subtle touch of his testicles on a full cock length thrust every now and then. His rhythm unrelenting. Shisui attentively listens to every soft mewl and whimper out of your precious mouth when his lips and fingers don’t have it preoccupied.
But damn did he love the sound of you moaning around his fingers. Choked out on three of them, as your ‘cute little pussy’—or so he called it. Fluttered and milked another deeply buried load into you, at this point he was merely tap to release. Bottoming out into a seemingly bottomless pool of his own cum. It seeped and spilled on to the nice silk sheets you intricately place earlier today.
The dull pulse of another orgasm as he continued to pump so slow, but incredulously deep. As if he purposely never fully fucked his cock into you; which was a far stretch. The many times Shisui inundated the swell of your cunt with his ever throbbing need and used it as a dump was more than you could ever count. How effortlessly he coaxed three more orgasms out of you, each one spasms and threatens another deposit out of him.
This was undoubtedly breeding. No way to describe it overwise. If you hadn’t of guess it by now, the things he said to you were more than an indication of the long night ahead of you. Powerless, but pleased to no end. You didn’t think however many orgasms he worked out of you were possible. You lay almost limp and useless. Along for the ride. Not to mention how sticky and nasty your legs felt. The amount of pain this man’s testicles would bear tomorrow morning was worth while. As if continuing to thrust into you would make his cum leak out less, Shisui was operating on what you assumed was less than half a brain cell. His eyes were lost, distant. Even with the Mangekyō boring into you this way his foresight that he was thoroughly finished hadn’t caught up.
You patted his cheek lovingly. It took a real special woman such as yourself to understand a man like Shisui.
“…Shisui-kun. You can stop now.” It wasn’t a plea, more of a distraction. There hadn’t been any warmth filling you from with in. Just whatever he managed to slosh around inside of you. It caked your insides.
But your seeet voice thrummed through his ears and his heart sank, “…oh …gods.” It was that moment he regained some semblance of control. Having fucked you on autopilot. The apologies flood as the kisses peppered your cheeks.
Here you lie, plugged. Stuffed to the brim of your cunt with his cum. Whatever didn’t manage to leak out still ever present inside you. The viscosity of it only thickens as it sits. So gentle when he slips out, the massive bubbles as his cum fully empties out of you. Shisui didn’t realize the reach of his own body. Scooping you up, he plops you into the tub.
The clock reads three hours that dinner had been sitting on the counter. The warmth of the water soothes your aching legs and back. Shisui hardly used his full strength to outmaneuver you, but this time he hadn’t the slightest how far he took it.
“I’m fine.” You smile, wholly fucked and tired. “…it was just for practice right?”
Shisui ran both hands through damp curls. He had forgotten all that was said. “It won’t be anything like that again.”
But what if you had liked it? “I’m partial to it…” dipping just below the water, up to your nose and not averting your gaze from his. “It was hot.” There you said it.
Shisui smiles the width of his mouth. Hot, you thought it was hot to be fucked like a cocksleeve? “Is that so?”
“…yes.” There wasn’t any way around it. “Just maybe, we take turns?” This was something Shisui could work with.
Slipping into the tub with you, behind you. Shisui leans you against his chest. “I can manage that.” When you mentioned it was rather endearing aside from being mostly prone. He remembers, “about those gifts?”
“After you reheat dinner.” The soft white of the foamy bath water is washed over you by Shisui with a loofah.
He could do that. He would do anything you ask of him. Especially knowing that from this moment forward, he would be undoubtedly indebted to you once that beautiful body of yours was swollen for him.

“ ya’ know, having a stick up your ass all the time isn't exactly attractive. ”
it was a rather cloudy day, the temperature fairly chilly and the air smelling as if it was going to soon storm. being someone who had a good eye, you could spot the heaviness within the darkening clouds, confirming your suspicions. this not only had dampened your cool mood, but made you irritable since rain caused you to become sleepy. that's why as soon as you saw your superior and, someone you barely tolerate, shinazugawa, being a dick once again to your comrades, you couldn't help but open your overly spoken mouth.
this left the white haired man to pause in his place, fist clenching around nothing as it balled into a fist; veins bulging out in anger. your keen eye flickered down and caught sight of this, but you mention nothing of it.
“ the hell did you say?! ” he yelled out in anger, turning to face you with a threatening aura. the vessels in his eyes seemed ready to burst, you could say that much. has this man even gotten any sleep? “ you have no right to speak, brat! I'm your superior; you respect me or I kick your ass! ” sanemi barked, hand already reaching for blade that connected to his belt.
but you were not scared. not intimidated. instead, only edged on to grab the handle of your own nichirin sword. “ respect you? please. I have more respect for your kin than I ever do you, shinazugawa. ” scoffing, your eyes narrowed at the man that had the nerve to even see himself as someone so high. sure, he was a hashira, but the way he treated people as if they were the dirt beneath his feet disgusted you. you aren't the kindest person, but you certainly weren't a disgrace. “ maybe I'm misjudging you, but I do not respect someone who's as rude as you are. ”
your thumb ran over the rough plastic that complimented your swords handle, up to the end; pressing into it, ready. grip steady. the piercing stare you gave him never faltering. “ you're chewing into my friends as if they are the enemy, and I don't condone such things. ” your eyes flicker onto the quivering blonde behind sanemi, as well as your boar-headed companion that tends to strike up fights — always in a ready-to-charge pose, just like now. “ they're a little special in their own ways and can sometimes be a pain, but as of right now, you are being nothing but a pure ass. ”
those words left a growl to leave the lips of the wind hashira. his eye twitched, and his lips shaped a deep, open mouthed frown; he was pissed. “ HAH?! ” he gouged. “ you have the fucking nerve, shrimp! ” his hand left his hilt, but only so he could march up to you and grab a fisfull of your uniforms collar. hauling you in a lift from the ground, where your hands instantly wrapped around his single wrist - sanemi and you were close to butting heads; a near lightning strike between your shared glares.
“ you walk around like someone high and mighty, but you're several ranks below me. ” shinazugawa harshly spoke, slitted eyes casted over by a shadow of rage and jaw clenched to the point where the veins leading up his neck, broke out. “ you and your scum-wreched friends need to high tail the fuck out of here while you still can. you're so weak it makes me sick. ” his forehead lowered to where you two were eye level. the entire time, you did nothing but stare; jaw set. “ I suggest leaving the corps, kid. you aren't needed here and you're only getting in everyone's way. ”
sanemi then dropped you to the ground, where you landed on your behind with a thud. gritting your teeth to stop from letting out a noise of pathetic defeat, your eyes rolled upwards to stare him down in hatred. shaking with both anger and... envy. you knew he was right, but shit.. In that moment, you just felt so strong. ready to protect zenitsu and inosuke, because they were family to you and didn't deserve to be yelled at like that. now, though — you sat on the filthy ground, looking like nothing more than a beaten rabbit with a sour twist of a look on your face. it was... pathetic.
and he knew that.
“ get out of my face — and drop from the corps’. ” sanemi gave you one more glare, and then a harsh stare to the two males, before storming away from you three.
he left you there, sitting to think about what he had said.
(hi I wanted to write for my man, but got lazy 💔)

It was a day.
It always is, but today especially...day-y.
(students were difficult and I got robbed)
a student threw a chair on Tuesday (this isn't super abnormal, 12-13 year olds have issues). This particular kid, GS, has a really hard time managing his emotions and making good choices. He was making nazi jokes, other kids were mad, I tried to get him to leave class and he threw a chair.
The chair broke (part of it is plastic).
Students were upset. This particular student has known issues with his emotions. He picks at the worst things looking for attention, and he'll just keep digging.
He has huge emotional regulation problems. (he could use therapy, and support, he can't get these things unless he gets more support than he's getting at home).
So this happens, and it's not out of the ordinary really. It's a big emotional response, but this kid has big emotional responses. He's not a bad kid.
Parent emails the principal. Principal comes to watch my class.
And, she's good about it. She comes into 7th hour, she doesn't tell me what it's about. She watches for a bit, leaves, comes back at the end of the day.
And she's kin, she asks questions, she doesn't assume anything. She's actually REALLY good. I really like her, and she's really supportive and we talked about it
I feel awful afterwards. (i don't know why, I just..do).
I feel awful about my job sometimes. I feel like an imposter. I have a huge imposter complex. (I'm actually a decent teacher, I really am).
I don't feel like it.
So, I'm wrung out and I get home and a man stops me in the parking lot. It's getting late, it's dark, Felix is with me.
He wants my phone to text a friend. His car got towed, he needs moeny, etc...he wants me to give him money, and...I hand him my phone. He venmo's himself 80$, pretends it doesn't work, and gives the phone back. He deleted venmo, which is weird.
So, he sent himself 80$, it's not going to come out of my account for a few days. I disputed it, I filed a police report. (not that I really need the police involved, but filing a report opens up so many things, and it's an online form).
and sure, it's 80$, I'll live. I have 80$, but it feels lousy. I would have given him $20. 80 is more than I'd give a stranger.
It's also he's between me and my apartment, Felix is with me. What do I do? get back in the car? pick up Felix and run? he's heavy. I'm tired.
I'm so tired. In the long and short of things...does it really matter? It's 80$, I'll be fine. I don't think he was going to hurt me (I shouldn't have handed him my phone).
but like...if it was just 20$, I would have given it to him. That's fine. It's the violation, taking the 60 I didn't want to give.
I also really hate being approached by people who want money. I just loathe it.
and it's the parking lot of my building. I live here.
(also venmo is REALLY unsafe, because he was able to send himself money without me doing ANYTHING) while we made small talk about our kids.
And he made small talk about his kid, while stealing from me. Dude. just...I hate it.

Welcome to 25 random Ace Markey headcanons because why the hell not?
1. Ace often wears headphones and blasts music in his ears, and I mean he has the volume all the way up, he is going to have horrible hearing when he's older but he doesn't care.
2. Ace is trans ftm, do not ask why I just kin Ace so badly therefore I want him to be a trans too.
3. This one isn't my headcanon but I do like the headcanon that Ace wanted to be a romance author but since he became a Jockey he hasn't had time for that and he's too embarrassed to show anyone.
4. Also not my headcanon but I like it, Ace wears gloves because he bites his hands when he's stressed, one of his sprites shows him stressed and biting his fingers so it's plausible.
5. Man still sleeps with a plushie but is too embarrassed to tell anyone about it.
6. Ace is very intolerant to heat and cold, take him somewhere cold and he'll freeze his ass off and take him somewhere hot he will die of a heat stroke or melting.
7. Ace acts like he like spicy food but cannot handle it at all.
8. Ace enjoy kids cartoons but is also too embarrassed to tell anyone.
9. Ace is also Asexual because again I kin him and I want him to be like me, also Ace being Ace would be funny.
10. Ace is violent when he sleep, he cannot hold still when he sleeps and ends up punching, smacking, and kicking in his sleep which does end up hurting himself. He is unaware of this so he'll wake up with bruises and wonder what the fuck happened.
11. Ace drinks milk because "it'll make his bones stronger" and stuff like that.
12. Ace owns a full body mirror, don't ask why he just does because I said so.
13. He either has a New York or a Southern accent that just occasionally slips out, this headcanon wasn't my own original idea but I like it.
14. Ace is neither the oldest or youngest among his siblings, he's somewhere in the middle. Like I think he's middle child but closer to oldest than youngest if you get what I'm saying.
15. He chews on anything he can, he was the kid who always chewed on his pencils and was probably the one who would bite the pool noodles when he was younger. He mainly chews gum now but he still sometimes chews on rubber bands, necklaces, and those plastic rings on water bottles and gatorade.
16. Ace doesn't get the concept of collectables and collectors so he always takes stuff out of the box.
17. Not my hc but again I like it, Ace still has a flip phone or one of those phones with a keyboard.
18. Ace hates getting his hair cut and will hold his breath unintentionally whenever he has to get a trim or something.
19. Ace likes pineapple on pizza.
20. He definitely owns a purse but is too embarrassed to wear it in public.
21. Ace likes getting his nails done but since he bites his nails and it's also very painful for him, he never gets them done.
22. He read the entire Warrior Cats book series. Ace saw one of his siblings reading it, he got curious and decided to read them, soon enough he was hooked. Also some other book headcanons: Ace also read the entire Wings of Fire and Percy Jackson book series.
23. My man definitely needs glasses but refuses to wear them in public, they're just reading glasses so he doesn't need them 24/7 but he will still not put them on infront of people to read anything.
24. Ace listens to Radiohead and Cavetown
25. This may be completely out of character but idc I like it. Most people headcanon that Ace's favorite colors are related to bruises but since he hates getting hurt I don't believe that, so I like to headcanon that Ace enjoys the typical galaxy aesthetic.
That's all I really have for now. This has been in my drafts forever now so I'm just going to post it and if I think of anything else I'll make a part 2 or something like that.

I think the thing we've lost sight of with the concept of "good faith" identities is that, crucially, you do not get to decide that someone is identifying as something in bad faith.
I've seen anti-mspec monos, anti-transmasc/male lesbians, anti-endos, anti-SAM users, anti-transfemmasc, anti-afab transfem and amab transmasc, anti-nondisordered system, anti-kin, anti-agere (even nonsexual), anti-sexual littles, anti-NPD and anti-ASPD, anti-self-dx, and so many more say "all good faith identities are welcome".
If you have "all good faith identities are welcome" followed immediately by "but x identities do not interact", you are not safe for all good faith identities. Full stop, period, no exceptions.
To take some more "controversial" identities, I know kin blogs that welcome "all good faith identities" but not endels because it's "unhealthily encouraging delusions". I know trauma-focused servers for littles that rather than saying "we are not equipped to handle sexual content" call sexual littles and their systems BOTH predators and child molestors for allowing littles to express autonomy as members of adult-bodied and adult-brained systems.
I know plural spaces that draw the line at identifying as a different internal identity than the body, especially when it comes to disability as one example. I know plural spaces that say headmates that have never once in their life been able to speak, while fronting and in headspace, are not allowed to call themselves nonverbal. I know plural spaces that say that fictives and soulbonds are appropriating from their own cultures and past lives if they keep their NAMES, even when the body is not even white!
You are not capable of determining if someone is identifying as something in good faith, because all good faith means is that they GENUINELY feel that is who they are. That's it.
If you think identities that someone genuinely feels like they are, are somehow harmful or morally wrong, say it with your whole chest. Don't hide behind nice-sounding politically correct words to say that you believe any identity that someone really feels is true is fine, EXCEPT those evilbad ones that are ACTUALLY really harmful and bigoted and bad and actually oppressing REAL women*/lesbians or gay men/trans people/systems/etc/etc/fucking etc.
And quite frankly, some of y'all need to remember that only actions can be moral, and bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right that is never immoral to exercise. Identity cannot be harmful because it is a feeling, not an action, and changing your body to affirm an identity cannot be harmful because it is exercising bodily autonomy. It doesn't matter if someone is getting plastic surgery to look like a doll or having a limb removed to help with their BIID or saying "I am x" because that is what their internal identity is.
You respect it even if you don't understand, or you're a bigot who is fundamentally anti-autonomy and therefore dangerous. Period.
*****
(*Note: I only name women because it's incredibly rare for anyone to claim that people are oppressed "real men" outside of the context of marginalized men who are actually oppressed, and then the claim isn't "real men" but "marginalized men". Even in the rare exceptions, such as te/rfs claiming trans men prey on gay cis men, they are still claiming it's about the marginalization of "homophobia", but it is a common tactic of te/rfs to claim "real women" are being oppressed by trans people. If you see the word woman but not man in this specific context and blacked out and screamed misogyny at me, I really can't help you and don't think anyone can. I've also been on the internet long enough to know this disclaimer is worth making.)

Yoooooo! It's been a hot minute since I posted a new prompt, but here's something I've been thinking about for a few days now? Consider:
AU where Cole was born much earlier, back before Hank's career really kicked off. He follows his ol' dad into the police force, joining the DPD the summer of 2035. However, that same year, a freak ice storm takes the city. Hank had been planning to visit Cole in his first apartment, promising him that "the roads aren't that bad, don't worry about it." The next call Cole receives is from Detroit Regional Hospital, asking for a next of kin. Cole rushes there himself, heedless of the horrible state of the roads, to find his father in surgery, a medical android operating. Anxiously, he waits through the night, fidgeting in the uncomfortable plastic chairs outside the operating theater.
He receives the news the next morning. Hank had suffered some serious injuries including multiple concussions, and had fallen into a coma during the surgeries. He's told there's no way to know when or if he might wake. The sight of the medical android leaving the theater with the same placid expression on its face as off of the things haunts him long after that night.
For three long years, he's consoled with platitudes of "it might be any day now." For three long years, he visits his father regularly, hoping to spark some change in the man. For three long years, he throws himself into his work, hoping to forget that this was all his fault. That Hank had been out because of him. That he was laid up in a sterile room for years because of him.
And almost three years later, his hard work pays off. His promotion to detective coincides with a surge in deviancy cases. And Cole Anderson, professional workaholic, newly-instated rookie, who's father's big shoes he will fill or die trying, has a proposition for the captain:
"Assign me this case," he demands.
"This is high profile, rookie. The sergeant will handle it," Fowler replies.
"Sir, the sergeant hates androids. I can work with it. Perhaps even mediate."
"Seem to recall you not being a fan either, Anderson."
And Cole grits his teeth, flashbacks of an android in bloody scrubs running through his mind. But he says, "I'm not, sir. But I need…" And here he hesitates, looking away from Fowler's piercing gaze. "… I need something… substantial… at this time of year…"
And the office is quiet for a few seconds more before he hears Fowler sigh. And Cole knows he's won this. "Alright, Anderson. Alright. I'll add you to the case. But Reed takes lead, you hear me? No going off on your own, kid."
Smartly, Cole salutes, knowing when to let sleeping dogs lie. "Thank you, Captain. You won't regret it."
"But Reed might," he hears the man mutter as he closes the door behind him.
Cole smirks, returning to his desk and the case files he'd been finishing up. Deviancy, he thinks. Perhaps this is the missing link. The key to proving androids can't be trusted in sensitive situations. That his father's condition was a result of malpractice, not routine. That they, too, shoulder some of the blame.
Two days later, Cole meets Connor. And that is when he knows his theory is right.
Or! The one where Hank is out of commission and an adult Cole Anderson is assigned to the deviancy case alongside Connor and Gavin. Through peril and hardship, the three must learn to work together to solve the greatest mystery Detroit has ever known, or risk letting the menace known as deviancy roam free. And meanwhile, tempers flare, worldviews shift, and all three learn there's perhaps more to life than just being human.

Part 2: Hearts of Sea Stone
Summary: When a series of suspicious drowning show up in Portland, Nick Burkhardt is called in to investigate a naiad. He quickly finds out there is more to his tale than he knows.
Tumblr media
“But they hurt me so,” said the little mermaid.
“Pride must suffer pain,” replied the old lady.”
“Vic’s name was Jason Aquati. Water made it difficult to get his wallet out safely without damaging the contents but we made it happen.” Sergeant Wu passed the wallet over to the two detectives that had just arrived. Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin made their way from the car to where the CSU were busy processing the scene.
“Another drowning victim in the Willamette in the last week? Seems like this guy is just getting started.” Hank commented on the scene, dropping himself into a crouch in front of the body. He was utterly puzzled by this string of murders they had gotten.
“Well, lets see who next of kin is, business, the works. There’s gotta be something that connects him to the last one. This is just too specific.” Nick added on, pausing to observe the pale watery body that was left there. Something odd caught his eye. Something in his hand. Grabbing a glove, not bothering to put it on properly, Nick gently moved the hand around till he caught a clear look of what he was hold.
“Can I get a baggie please?” The detective called to no one in particular. His eyes followed the object that was now resting on his glove. Nick felt his partner come to look over his shoulder and hand him the evidence bag.
“What is that?” Griffin questioned, watching his partner drop the small object into the bag and seal it up. Burkhardt stood to match the other man, and their eyes were both trained on the bag.
“I have no clue.” A small stone rested amongst the plastic. To the untrained eye, it looked like a regular stone, but one of these men had the eyes to see the unimaginable. He saw the swirl of blue inside, a pale brilliant blue, that quickly died out. Nick’s eyes went back from the stone, to the man before them, trying desperately to find out how these two were connected.
~
The precinct was as busy and bustling as ever. There was so much excess noise and chatter that threatened to pulled Nick away from his screen; he was almost about to tell the entire building to be quiet just so that he could work. But that would not happen, and he knew that.
“Hey Nick, check this out.” The excess noise was cut out and Hank’s voice came to him sharply. Getting up from his chair, the detective walked over and peered at the screen before him. After being here for so long, the bright screen and small dark letters blurred together.
“Alright. What am I looking at?” His hands rested on the table and back of his partner’s chair, trying desperately to make sense of what was on the screen.
“That stone we found in the guys hand today? Well, I thought since the guy last week also had a similar looking stone in his possession that I would have them tested. Listen to this: it is aquamarine. A type of sea blue to greenish stone.” Hank rattled off happily.
“Okay. So we know what type of stone it is. How does this help us?” A headache was starting to worm its way into Burkhardt’s head, and he could do without the small talk.
“Well, here’s the thing. Inside the stone, there was a foreign substance. Initial results were inconclusive because they were quote, ‘fish scales with human DNA.’ That’s weird right?” Nick was trying to rack his brain for knowledge that would explain the foreign substance in the gemstone.
“Very weird. Listen,” he cleared his throat, “I’m gonna head home. I don’t think I can look at another screen tonight. Goodnight Hank. Go get some sleep.” Nick patted his friend on the shoulder, and collected his coat before leaving.
On the drive home, many thoughts plagued his mind. Was there a type of wesen that preferred to have those kinds of gems? Or a particular type of water wesen that he should be looking for? Dinner and Juliette would have to wait. First, Nick needed to make a detour.
His car pulled into the driveway of Monroe’s humble abode, shutting off the engine and sitting there for a moment. Nick searched his car for a drink and some painkillers but found none. This headache was getting worse. Maybe his friend had some inside? Hopefully he did, otherwise his drive home was going to be a lot worse. The detective did not realize that he was already at the door and knocked before he heard a muffled voice calling out for, “just a moment.”
“Nick, hey buddy. What brings you by at this time of night? Shouldn’t you be home?” The taller blutbad moved out of the way to allow the Grimm into his home, but was confused at Nick’s uncharacteristic quietness.
“You okay, Nick?” Monroe asked, starting to be concerned.
“Do you have any painkillers? I’m sorry. Just got this nasty headache and I don’t have anything.” Nick scrubbed his hand over his face, pinched his eyes shut, and let out the deepest breath he could to try and muster through the pain.
“Yeah. Yeah, I got some. Come here.” Going into the kitchen, the detective smelt and saw the remains of dinner. It reminded him of his girlfriend that was at home right now, waiting up for him so that she could make him a hot plate.
“Thanks Monroe. I’m sorry to impose like this on you.” The wesen waved off the concerns as he was shaking his head, still rummaging through the cabinets for something to ease his friend’s pain.
“Don’t worry about it man. I don’t have anything traditional. Well, no. It is traditional, but it’s not modern medicine. Ah! Here it is.” Monroe pulled a jar from his cupboards, with something in German written on the label. Taking a teaspoon, he put a single spoonful of the contents of the jar in a mug. It was then that Nick noticed the kettle heating up on the stove, and watched as his friend poured scalding water over the mystery powder. Was it even a powder? It looked more like tea.
“Give it just a few minutes to steep and cool down. After that, bottoms up.” Monroe looked pleased with himself, but Nick was just confused.
“What is it?” He questioned, looking between the other man and mug with uncertainty.
“Alles Heilen. It’s a type of ‘cure all.’ My grandmother used to make me that anytime I had any sort of internal ailment. Headaches, flu, stomach aches. She even made me drink it one time to help flush out some poisonous berries I had accidentally eaten. It’s really good stuff.” Nick sniffed the mug, and took a small test sip to test temperature and taste before he took a more proper drink.
“So I’m assuming you didn’t just pop over here for a German style medicine for your headache?” Monroe asked, watching the man before him he appeared to finally have some sort of relief as he rubbed his temples.
“No.” Nick stated plainly. “What kind of wesen are part fish, or really love water?”
“Whoa. Okay. Not what I was expecting. Um, I’m not sure. The only ones that are coming up are naiades but they’re only fish in the sense that I am a wolf. It’s not enough to classify or anything like that. Why do you ask?” Now, he was confused.
“There’s a series of homicides I’m investigating. Both bodies were holding an aquamarine stone that held fish and human DNA inside. It sounds like something weird enough to be wesen.” Nick stared off into a blank spot of the kitchen as he let the tea, if that is what you could call it, take effect.
“Aquamarine and weird DNA? Have you consulted your books?” Leaning against the counter, Monroe watched Burkhardt closely. However, the man just shook his head.
“No, I haven’t. I thought you might point me in the right direction.” They sat in silence for a moment, just letting the day take its toll.
“Hey,” Monroe gained Nick’s attention yet again, “maybe Rosalee knows what you should be looking for. Why don’t you give her a call in the morning?” A nod was given by the Grimm, who finished the contents of his cup, and made to leave the home of the blutbad.
“Yeah. I think I will. Thanks for your help, Monroe.” The gentlemen shook hands, and went to go for the door.
“Anytime, Nick.” Watching from his front door, Monroe could not help but feel like this was just going to get worse for Nick if he could not find out what it was that he was looking for. Nothing can cause insanity quite like searching for something that you do not know where to start.
~
Rosalee flitted around the shop, pulling volumes upon volumes of knowledge from her shelves. Her face looked upset, which did not bode well with Grimm in her shop.
“I’m sorry, Nick. I can’t find anything that would explain what you found in that stone. Do you know what kind of wesen was holding it?” Her face scrunched up in confusion and worry.
“No,” the detective shook his head and threw his hands up in the air, “I don’t even know if the guy was wesen.” He was getting more and more frustrated as time went on. His gut told him that this was a wesen case, but Nick could not find anything to prove it.
“Okay. What were the victims names? Maybe I can find out for you.” A pad of paper and pen appeared in the Fuchsbau’s hands as she prepared to jot down the names.
“First vic was Stacie Wesser. She was a spa owner downtown, and the second was Jason Aquati. He was studying to be a marine biologist at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biologist.” After she wrote down those names, Rosalee took a pause. She let out a shaky breath, and her expressive face revealed pain.
“Are you sure it was them?” Her whisper came.
“Positive ID on both. Did you know them?” Nick was concerned and approached the woman in front of him. A tear managed to escape her eye that she rubbed away fiercely.
“Yeah. I knew them. Stacie came to me for specialty items for her shop, and James for a specific cream to use.” Burkhardt got out his pen and paper to jot some of this down.
“What else could you tell me? Is there any way that these two knew each other?” While he was busy writing the information, Rosalee tried to rack her brain.
“It’s possible that they may have interacted in her spa, but now that I think about it, they both mentioned going to see a show recently. The same one even though they weren’t in here at the same time.” Nick’s head perked up immediately at this information.
“What show was this?” She looked nervous now. Rosalee wrote a name on the piece of paper and tore it off.
“Take Monroe with you. It’s not exactly a place you would be welcome in.” The man nodded and graciously accepted the piece of paper. However, just then, Nick’s phone rang. Pulling it out, he barely had time to check caller ID before answering.
“Yeah, Burkhardt. Okay. Alright. I’m there in ten.” He hung up the phone as quickly as he answered it. Turning back to the woman, he stashed the paper in his pocket and gave her a nod of thanks, before exiting underneath the chiming bell.

“Another body. This guys cooling off period is shrinking drastically.” Hank met up with Nick once he arrived on scene.
“What have we got?” He asked his friend, and was brought over to the body.
“Name was Stephen Matthews. Forty-four, never married, no children. Works at the Portland animal facility. This now makes the third body. This guys has gone serial.” Griffin walked near his parter towards the victim, and pulled a baggie from another officers hands.
“Found another stone in his hands. If I had to guess, it’s the same one as the
others.” Everyone was puzzled in this case.
“You know, drowning is not the easiest way to kill someone. Guns, knives, even bare knuckles work better than drowning. So why has he chosen this method?” Nick posed the question that no one answered. The sound of a car approaching, and subsequent opening and closing of the door caught the attention of everyone there. Their captain had just arrived on scene.
“This the same killer?” He asked, hands resting on his hips as he looked at the scene.
“We believe so, Captain.” Nick informed him, walking up and standing close by. A second set of eyes locked onto the bag in the young detective’s hands.
“What’s that?” He questioned, holding out his hands to accept the item.
“It’s a stone. Two similar ones were found on the other two bodies. It’s aquamarine but the forensic report shows human and fish DNA inside it. So we have no clue what we’re looking at.” Sean’s eyes stayed locked intensely on the stone in the bag that was no bigger than a quarter. He could hear Nick talking but his mine traveled back in time. Back to when he was young and had just arrived in Oregon. Back to when he had met her and-
“Captain?” The hand on his shoulder startled Renard out of his thoughts. He cleared his throat and handed the evidence bag back to his detective.
“Good job, Nick. Keep it up. I want this guy found before he can kill anyone else.” And with that, he left. No more words spoken, no more updates needed. Burkhardt turned back to the stone in hand. What was it about this stone?
~
That night, Nick called up Monroe and asked if he would accompany him to the place that Rosalee had written down on the piece of paper in his pocket. The blutbad was more than willing to tag along and made sure to tell Nick about it on the way there. They made sure to park nearby, and on the walk over to the front door, Monroe would not shut up about the place.
“Dude, this is like an amazing club. Well, not really a club as in you know techno and partying. More like a supper club or a lounge. There is just this energy in there. It’s wonderful. Really takes you back in time to a much simpler life.” The nondescript black door with the name on the front would be able to be overlooked by a normal person, unless you knew what you were looking for.
“So this is, what? A speakeasy?” Nick continued to walked forward as Monroe seemed to have a revelation in the middle of the street.
“Yeah. Yeah it is. I never thought of it like that.” The closer they got to the door, the more Nick’s nerves were lighting up. He hoped that whatever he needed to solve this case was in this place.
Getting inside was no issue. Just a check for ID, pay a cover fee, and they were there. The lights of the stage were dark, while the ambient lighting was brighter. A poster caught Nick’s eyes that was plaster on just about every surface in the building.
Hometown Performances by the Portland Princess, Sirena!
The picture of the woman caused him to pause. She was obviously gorgeous, but there was a certain, almost mythical, quality to her appearance. Burkhardt felt someone come up behind him, and a hand laid itself on his shoulder.
“Oh yes! Sirena is in town. She’s amazing. Kind of a legend in our world.” Monroe gushed. Just then, the lights in the room dimmed, and the lights on stage went completely black. Whoops and cheers came from all around, and Nick saw many different kinds of wesen woge throughout the room.
A singular spotlight lit up the stage, and the woman from the poster stood in front of the microphone. Monroe was right; this really felt like a portal to a different time. Old timey microphone, and the woman was decked out in old Hollywood fashion. Listening to her sing, it felt like a trance. She interacted with the crowd and seemed to make up songs on the spot, or at least it seemed improvised.
She worked her way through the front row and had everyone hanging off of her every word. It was unlike anything Nick had seen, even in human clubs. This was totally different. Probably like most thing in the wesen world, this seemed to be steeped in tradition. Unlike, however, the last time he was in a club like this, the woman in stage paid no attention to him, and never realized that there was a Grimm in the audience watching her.
Singing her final note, Nick did not realize that she was signing off and saying goodnight until the spotlight died and the lights returned to how they were before.
“Monroe, what is she?” He asked his friend who seemed to be in a daze from the performance.
“She’s perfect.” Nick shook the blutbad from his thoughts. “Oh, right sorry. She’s a naiad. She might know who to look for.” Monroe was hauled to his feet and dragged through the club towards the back.
“Sorry. Sirena is not doing a meet and greet at the moment.” A tall, brunette man stopped the duo before they got too far into the back. Nick hated to do it, but he whipped out his badge for the man to see.
“I need to speak with her. She might have insight on an investigation.” The man scrutinized the badge he held, but eventually let him pass through with Monroe. A door with “Sirena” plastered across the front was the third door on the left side of the hallway the traveled down. Nick knocked loudly, and waited for a response.
“Just a second.” A soft and sweet voice called out from behind the door. Just a moment later, the door opened a little bit, and the same woman from the stage appeared a little bit more relaxed. As soon as she saw Monroe’s face, though, her weariness faded away.
“Roe! I didn’t know you’d be coming. I hope you have brought Rosalee.” Her voice did not lose any of the dreaminess as it picked up in volume.
“Can we come in? Please?” He asked, looking behind him at the Grimm. she nodded and moved out of the way to allow the pair into the room. Only, she did not realize that it was not Rosalee behind Monroe. Once the men stepped in, it was exactly 3.5 seconds for her entire demeanor to change. She squeaked and pressed herself as close to the door as she could. Monroe pushed Nick to the other side of the room as he tried to calm the woman down.
“You… you brought a Grimm here. You sold me, Monroe! How could you? What did I do?” She wailed and wailed, trying to keep the blutbad just as far away from her as the Grimm was, but he ignored the shoves and hitting.
“No. No, Si. He’s not like that. This is Detective Nick Burkhardt with the Portland Police Department. He’s not like the other one. He just wants to ask some questions. Please. I wouldn’t sell you like that.” Her panicked eyes shifted from the man in front of her to the man behind him, and back again. She finally started getting her breathing under control to where she could talk again.
“Just ask some questions?” It almost sounded like a whimper as she stared Nick down. He kept his hands out of his pockets so as to try and make her realize that he meant her no harm.
“Just some questions. If that’s okay. Monroe can stay the whole time.” Unshed tears collected amongst her lash line while she nodded her agreement. Her hands went to her eyes in pain and she bent over a basin of water in the room. What came out as a tear drop, landed in the water as a fully formed stone. Taking a moment to collect herself, she fixed her eye makeup, dabbed her eyes and turned back to the men.
“My apologizes. I try not to cry on land for that reason.” Her voice was soft and sweet, just as before, but her eyes stayed trained on the Grimm.
“It’s okay. Are those aquamarine?” He was instantly curious at the glittering bowl.
“Yes, they are. How did you know that?” Now, the singer was curious. She had yet to lose the edge that she was trembling on.
“We found three identical stones at three separate homicide scenes. Now, I’m not asking as a cop. What are you?” That Grimm stare scared the young woman. The pitch blackness of his eyes made her tremble and lose her facade for a second. In an instant, a silky sheen encompassed her entire body. Blueish-green scales shone in the lights of the vanity, and gills appeared at the side of her neck. Vibrant, electric blue eyes pierced his, and the almost doe-eyed quality she had taken was interesting to him.
“I’m not a normal naiad. I’m what they refer to as a Tödlicheslied.” Her woge state stayed as she explain.
“Are you serious?” Monroe piped up for the first time in a while. His eyes looked like he was a kid in a candy store.
“You’re- you’re a, a Tödlicheslied? I’ve only heard stories about you. I didn’t think you guys existed anymore.” The blutbad continued to look at the young lady, not as if he was judging her, but in disbelief.
“Tödlicheslied? What does that mean?” Nick asked, allowing his eyes to stray from the woman for a moment to turn to his friend.
“Literally translate to, ‘Deadly Song.’ They were the original sirens. An ancient breed of naiads. You Grimms might be a boogeyman tale to us wesen, but these guys? These are pure legend. They’re believed to be extinct. How are you out of the water?” Monroe explained, finally letting the information process. Burkhardt turned back to the woman and looked confused.
“My people usually don’t leave the water. We’re a rare, ancient breed of wesen like Roe said. Leaving the water for us is painful and can sometimes cause death where we literally suffocate. In our aquatic state, we behave like any other marine life. Oxygen in the water passes over our gills,” she motioned to her own with a webbed hand, “and that’s how we breath. But coming out of the water, we have difficulty turning back to our human form because we completely change our organs and structure.” Well, this was surprising to Nick. Just when he thought that his life could not get any weirder.
“We drink a tonic that helps, but it’s super specific. Only a few people know how to make it.” This was going to make for an interesting new addition to his book.
“Do you have an alibi for the past two nights and for last Friday?” Her body returned to normal, the half woge leaving her and allowing her to appear perfectly normal.
“The past two nights I’ve been here and haven’t been anywhere other than my hotel. Last Friday, I believe I found a late night bookstore to go to after the show. I’m unsure if that place has cameras, but I know my hotel does.” The detective took in her words and allowed himself to look around. There was a picture on the vanity, with a necklace draped atop it. The pictures were in black and white, but he knew that face. There was no way he could forget that face. Standing, Nick went to the vanity and attempted to grab the photo to get a better look when a hand slapped his. Rubbing the now stinging hand, he looked and saw pain and fury in the woman’s eyes.
“Apologies. I just don’t like people touching my stuff.” She did not look the least bit sorry, but that was neither here nor there.
“Would you be willing to come down to the station while we confirm your alibi? Just as a precaution, plus it makes it easier for us to get information.” Nick turned his full body to the young lady before him. She was only dressed in a silk robe, long hair flowing down in waves. However, she nodded.
“Would you allow me to get changed into something presentable? I’d much rather not be out there in just my robe.” Shifting from foot to foot, her hands wrung themselves together in front.
“Of course. Take however long you need.” Nick turned his body away from the young woman and stared at the wall, while he encouraged Monroe to do the same. And by encourage, he means that he slapped the man on the arm and made him turn away from the dressing window in the corner of the room. She disappeared behind the makeshift wall that was set up, and tried to put herself in normal clothing as quickly as possible. There was some rustling, and a couple of knocks as she finagled her way around. However, she was soon on her way out with her shoes in hand.
“You can turn back now. I appreciate you doing that.” It was almost a whisper as she sat down on the stool in front of her vanity to take care of her shoes. The men followed her request and waited patiently for her to be done.
Once the shoes were on, her attention was turned to the jewelry on the table and in the dishes before her. Rings found their place on her delicate fingers. Much less flashy and large than what she wore on stage, but none the less high quality. Nick had a sneaking suspicion that everything she wore was pure silver and built to last. However the one piece of gold that was present on the table, was the necklace draped across the picture frame. There was a pause as her hands faltered to reach for the object, but eventually, she was able to grasp it. Her expression was sullen, as if relieving a specific memory that she wish she could have forgotten. But, that necklace, with a heart shaped locket and several rings found its way to her neck. The one piece of gold clashing against the silver, including a secondary silver necklace that looked identical to the gold one.
“Ready to go.” The wesen took a deep breath and spun around. Grabbing a long, wool coat, she headed for the door and allowed the men to leave first before she locked the door to her dressing room. Leading them out of the building, Ashe stopped only for a moment to chat with her security guards and owner of the venue to let them know where she was going and that she would be back late.
Nick held the backseat door open for her, and offered a hand to help her up into the vehicle. He tucked her coat in to make sure it would not be caught in the door, and made his way to the driver’s door. Checking that everyone was buckled in and secure, he began the journey away from the club.
“Just gonna drop Monroe off first and then we’ll head to the station. Is that okay?” Burkhardt kept an eye on the siren in his back seat. She nodded, yet said nothing. It was silent. Eerily silent the entire drive back to the spice shop. Thankfully, it was not that long of a car ride so Nick was just hoping that maybe he could get some answers at some point tonight. It seemed the spice shop was even closer than he realized, or maybe it was the zoning out and trying to pass the time faster with no noise. But he shook hands with Monroe, and unlocked the car to let him out.
“Stay safe, Si. Okay?” The blutbad tried to comfort the tödlicheslied in the backseat. She smiled genuinely at her friend and nodded.
“I will try. Come out to the show soon with Rosalee please? I’ll get you guys in for free. We can go have dinner.” Her offer made the man smile.
“You got a deal. See ya kids.” And then there were two. Wesen and Grimm just driving down to the police station. Nothing weird about this on a Friday evening. No one made a move to speak, leaving the care in the same eerie silence from before.
“Can I ask about the picture and locket?” Nick broke it. Her startled expression almost made the detective retract his statement, but she relaxed soon after.
“What do you want to know about it?” Her gaze turned out the window, like she could not look at the Grimm while discussing this.
“Who’s the man that is in them?” He was curious about the answer she was going to give him.
“He’s dead.” The red light ahead had excellent timing, allowing for Nick to turn his head around in shock to stare directly at her face. She tried to reign in her emotions, but Nick could see tears threatening to fall. He handed her a set of tissues that were still in the car, and turned back to the now green light.
“How?” His choked whisper came. There was a deep sigh that was released from the backseat.
“For me to tell you this, there’s a lot you need to know first.” A beat of silence.
“Tödlicheslieden don’t come on to the surface ever. Well, almost never. The last time someone lived to tell about us was Christopher Columbus. Although we were swimming with the manatees so who knows what those stories were inspired by.’
‘Our family never allowed the children near the surface alone. They would only take us near there when we needed to eat. Unfortunately, that part of siren lore is true. However, one day I was near the surface and was caught in a rip current. It pulled me so far away, I didn’t know where I was going or even what direction I came from. When I came to, I was washed up on shore along the Willamette trying desperately to breathe.” A small smile appeared on her face as the story continued.
“There was a young man along the shore who found me. He helped me through the change to a human like state. I was so scared,” she chuckled, “but, he just draped his coat over me, and spoke soft and slowly.” Her hands now fiddled with the necklaces.
“Come to find out he was a zauberbiest. Imagine my shock. But he proved to care about me and my well being so I trusted him. He used to take me out, every night, to the river to see if my family was close. After a full lunar cycle though, we stuck to once a month. On the full moon, when the tide is highest and light is brightest. He did everything he could to make sure that I was taken care of. Gave me clothing, showed me a human store to shop in, what tonics to take and when. He was the first person to find out about my tears.” Nick stayed silent throughout the entire story.
“After twelve lunar cycles, I begun to accept my surface life and the possibility that I would never see my family again. And we fell in love. That was a big no-no, even back then. But we didn’t care. It was us against the world it seemed. He made us these necklaces so we would never be apart.” The locket open underneath her delicate touch, and she was lost in a trance.
“But, nothing lasts forever. My family did eventually find me, and they tried to convince me to come back to our pod. But I couldn’t leave my lover behind. When I asked for time on my decision, they came after us as we sat near the water. They dragged me underneath, and made me,” her voice choked, “they made me listen.”
“Listen to what, Sirena?” Nick questioned with profound empathy for the woman who could not have been much older than him.
“Please, Sirena is a stage name. It’s easier to hide in plain sight when no one knows your true name.” She chuckled out, trying desperately to not cry.
“They made me listen as they beat him to death.” Her statement jarred Nick a bit in his seat. They were not too much further from the precinct, but he hoped the story would have something for him to work with.
“I had to listen to his grunts, groans, and cries. It was too silent after. They brought me this as proof,” her hand held up the gold chain with a matching locket on it, “I knew he would have never let them take it off of him had he been alive. It was another twenty-four lunar cycles before I managed to get away for good. I came back to the Willamette, back to Portland. I tried so hard to find an obituary or anything that would tell me where he was buried or something, but I have yet to find anything in almost twenty years.” Nick parked his truck, and jump out to help the lady out of the car. With her hand in his, he stayed at the vehicle for a moment more.
“What was his name?” She was confused, but her eyes appeared haunted. “What’s his name? If I have a name, I can look him up in our database and give you a definitive answer.”
There was a deep sigh, allowing for a lengthy pause. A Grimm and a wesen stood out in the cold Portland air. Her head moved side to side in a negative motion, and her eyes suddenly found the ground much more interesting to look at than the man in front of her. She was trying to reign in her emotions and keep from crying out in the freezing air. After whaat seemed to be an eternity, her misty eyes went to Nick’s as she had her internal struggle.
“His name was Sean. Sean Renard.”“But they hurt me so,” said the little mermaid.

Sean Renard.”

Rosebud’s HorrorFest:
Tumblr media
Day two: who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
Theme: ghouls
Content: in which the local DILF turns out to be something you would never have anticipated
This one isn’t as intense as the previous day, but AFO is a dick in this bc men can’t convey emotions healthily lmao. Mentions of cat death, people being killed, blood, torture (?).
Whatever being that resides in the sky absolutely fucking hates you, you were certain of it. For the past week, you have found yourself in absolutely abysmal luck: first, the cat that normally comes to greet you on your commute to work was found dead by the locals. The poor thing had had the shit rammed out of it, blood and guts coating the road with a slick sheen. Next, you found out that the cute person who made sure to bring you a fresh cup of coffee everyday was a victim of a massive accident, this time they had slipped on a ladder and snapped their neck cleanly in half. And to make matters worse, the news had been reporting a grave robber. Multiple families had been thrown into further grief as their loved ones’ final resting place was completely desecrated, ones who hadn’t been cremated disappeared completely.
==================================
The bitter yet familiar smell of coffee filled your nose as you stood idly by the bar, ears pricked for the call of your name. A small TV was placed on a shelf in the corner of the crowded coffee shop, and its contents was the news. A well dressed presenter droned on about a new mass grave robbery, this time in a more local graveyard. Disgust filled your being as a new voice pulled you from your rage.
“Such a shame, isn’t it? Those poor families, I can only imagine the grief they are feeling,” the voice said. It was smooth, suave and well educated. You turned your head to see a middle aged man staring back at you, seemingly waiting for your response. In all honesty, he was quite attractive: smooth skin with a few laughter lines and the start of some forehead wrinkles.
“Huh? Oh yeah, it’s heartbreaking to see. I mean, what kind of sicko goes around digging people’s graves?! That’s a new low, there’s a special place in hell for that bastard,” you ranted, fists clenched into your trousers. You missed the small smirk that befell the handsome stranger’s face.
“My, this seems to sting you deeply, my dear. Perhaps you were one of the deceased’s kin?” He feigned a sympathetic tone and placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. For some reason, you couldn’t find it within yourself to shake him off.
With a low murmur, you said “yes, my boyfriend. He was taken away from me by villains in a bank robbery a few years ago. We were bystanders when one of the villains sent debris flying towards us and he pushed me away before it could hit the both of us.”
You looked away as tears threatened to line your lashes. The hand that was perched on your shoulder went to thumb smooth circles on your back as you sniffled and tried to maintain your composure. Again, you had no idea why you felt so trusting of this stranger, to lay your soul bare to someone you had met in a coffee house of all places.
“My deepest condolences my dear, that must be an awful feeling to experience. You know, I am a licensed psychiatrist and it just so happens that I am on my annual leave. I have been bored stiff, so I would be more than willing to allow you to spill the contents of your soul,” he maintained the same small grin as he watched you contemplate and then nod your head.
“There you are, come along (Y/N). Grab your coffee and we can go to my office”.
“(F/D) for (Y/N)?” The barista called for you with your plastic coffee cup in hand.
Whatever spell you were under didn’t allow you to wonder how he knew your name before the barista had even called it.
==================================
Your relationship with the handsome stranger blossomed deeper than you ever imagined it would. He introduced himself as Shigaraki, and the relationship quickly went from professional to… less than professional.
You definitely weren’t complaining however, maybe he was twice your age, but maybe that was what you needed. Instead of guys that flutter around, fuck then leave or the endless months of “are you awake” texts at 2 in the morning, you had found someone to share blissful mornings filled with cups of sweetened coffee and cuddling in fresh linen. So what if he was a little bit older than you? It made pleasant conversations.
==================================
“Fucking hell, baby have you seen the news? That grave robbing motherfucker has struck again,” you called over to your boyfriend. It was a peaceful Sunday morning mid fall, the perfect season to lure your boyfriend on romantic evening walks in the park.
You could already imagine it; soft mittened hands intertwined as you swung your arms gently, leaves crunching under your boots as squirrels chittered in the trees above you. It was going to be perfect. The creaking of the stairs behind you informed you of your boyfriend’s arrival, and with a soft and slightly prolonged kiss to the cheek, Shigaraki wrapped his arms around your waist and rocked you with him.
“Oh my, that’s dreadful. I really thought that the thief would be arrested by now,” he murmured, mouth just kissing the shell of your ear. You leaned back into his chest and inhaled deeply. God, you loved his scent. It was like hand soap with a hint of musk. The musk drove you absolutely mad, and yet whenever you asked what the smell was, he just smiled and bopped you on the nose.
“It makes me wonder why they’re doing it, and what they’re doing with the body afterwards? I mean, no one has reported seeing any missing bodies, and they’re all people who chose not to be cremated. It’s all very peculiar,” you pondered, swaying gently with your lover.
“Don’t worry about it anymore my darling, let’s have a peaceful Sunday and then we can go for our nightly walk. I have a new walking place I found online if that’s quite alright with you,” he murmured softly again, kissing the patch of skin above your ear and on your jaw. A soft moan left your lips at his actions as you grinded back into him unintentionally, causing him to swallow a grunt.
So much for a quite Sunday.
==================================
“Baby, where is this new walking place that you found,” you questioned Shigaraki, hands locked tightly together as you trudged your way through thick piles of leaves. Shigaraki turned to you with a small glint in his eyes and smiled that million dollar smile again.
“It’s just through these woods my love, not much further now,” Shigaraki replied as you met the gate of the pitch black forest. Something was definitely amiss.
“Um, babe? Are you sure this is the right place? It looks a little… I don’t know,” you trembled slightly, rubbing small circles on your lover’s hand to steady yourself. Shigaraki seemed annoyed at your constant pondering.
“Yes, I’m certain. Now please hurry up, I want to get this over with as soon as possible. I’m hungry and tired,” he snapped back at you. You visibly shrunk upon yourself at his tone and nodded timidly.
“Okay, now in we go,” your boyfriend let go of your hand to jiggle the lock on the thick metal gate, grunting slightly when it opened. He never offered you his hand back, instead speed walking into the labyrinth of gargantuan cedars and oaks.
Panting, you stumbled to keep up with him. Large roots kept making you trip over yourself as you struggled to both watch Shigaraki walk further away from you and try not to break your neck.
“HEY, PLEASE, WAIT!” You borderline screamed at your rapidly disappearing boyfriend, tears pricking your eyes and breath picking up. What the hell did he think he was playing at?!
Tears blurred your vision as you latched on to the fading silhouette of your lover, until a particularly massive root comes out of seemingly nowhere and forces you to fall down, smashing the side of your head on a rock. Black washed your vision as your boyfriend slowly walked back towards you as you croaked out his name and held a trembling arm out for him.
==================================
“(-N)…”
“(Y/N)…”
“(Y/N)!”
A shout of your name pulled you from your slumber, groggy eyes trying to adjust properly to the figure in front of you. A weak moan left your lips due to the throbbing pain in the side of your head, the thin trickle of blood becoming more annoying.
Heavy arms tried to wipe away the aggravation, only to find that both wrists had heavy, thick metal attached and clinked the most atrociously when moved. You were becoming way more aware of the coldness of the stone that you were pressed against and tried thrashing about. More rows upon rows of rocks made their way to your vision as you finally understood where you were.
You were in a graveyard.
“Ahh, there you are sweetheart. I was worried you would never wake up again,” that same suave voice that lured you in was speaking to you once again. Something that felt like a hand rubbed circles on your cheeks. Felt because it didn’t feel human, far too cold and smelly to ever be human.
“W-where am I? What are you doing?! Why are we in a graveyard?!” You shrieked as you thrashed around. Shigaraki chuckled as he watched your pathetic writhes to free yourself.
“Oh, be careful my sweet. I wouldn’t want the taste of metal to taint your sweet flesh,” he tucked his fingers under your chin with a sly grin. Your eyes widened in alarm, screams increasing tenfold.
“What the hell do you mean, ‘taint my flesh’?! What kind of sick joke is this?!” Sweat and tears poured down your face in buckets as you yanked even harder on your chains.
“Please, what do you want from me,” you sobbed noisily. Shigaraki took a step back as the skin on his body greyed and melted, some bone peeping out if you squinted hard enough. The foul odour of rotting meat summoned with the transformation of your lover.
Your jaw dropped slightly before you pulled in on yourself and screamed again. Shigaraki’s lip curled at the noise and with a snap of his finger, vines from the tombstone behind you slithering up before wrapping themselves in your mouth, promptly gagging you.
“That’s much better. At least now I can explain myself before you die,” Shigaraki grinned again.
“You see my darling, I am a ghoul. You know what that means, yes? It means I am an entity that peruses the Earth for corpses to consume in order to maintain my appearance,” he pauses, looking at you thinking hard.
Eating corpses?! What the actual fuck!?
Shigaraki continued, “although I could kill people to devour their corpses, I prefer having them… ready made if you will. That’s why graveyards are perfect for me! I float from town to town, especially where there is a lot of crime, and exhume those who were fortunate enough to be buried whole”.
You struggled to breath as you tried piecing at all together before it suddenly hit you.
Shigaraki leaned forward.
“Yes, little lamb. I’m the grave-snatcher. I am also the ghoul who exhumed your beloved boyfriend’s grave! I could see why you liked him, he had a very refined taste to him,” Shigaraki sighed dreamily. With another more urgent sigh, Shigaraki straightened up and fiddled in his bag before pulling out a knife.
“On the other hand however, I couldn’t wait until you died to taste your flesh. You smelled so sweet when I met you, and your personality is reflective of that. I truly do love you. But that is why it must be i to kill you. That way, we can truly be together!” Shigaraki crouched back to your screaming form, rubbing away the tears on your face and then rubbing the tears from his.
“Now my darling. Hold still.”

Might we see a little bit of Kate giving Anthony his first tattoo? 😇
Okay but imagine Kate blinking down at the actual Lord whose just passed out on her table before the needle even touched his skin.
"Did he just-?" Sophie asks, cackling as she tattoos an eighteen year old girl, who's sitting like a rock while her ribs get tattooed, Kate's own cousin.
"Yeah he did." Kate sighed putting down that gun, supporting his head as the chair drops to lay flat.
"Poor guy, you know he just wanted to flirt with you right?"
"Shut up, he did not." Kate scoffs.
And even then there's something charming about him that she wished she didn't see. Something so boyish and peaceful about him laying there out cold, something sweet in the man who'd been so determined to protect his sister he'd practically gotten out a magnifying glass to inspect her work station for anything that might be unsanitary.
"What happened? Is it done?" His voice is groggy when he comes to a few seconds later, his waistcoat a little rumpled.
"You know, It's the same rules as sex: If someone passes out it's a no go." Kate sighs, handing him a cup of orange juice. "That'll make you feel better."
He's clearly embarrassed, mortified she can tell as he mumbles "Sorry."
And there's something sweet in even that. "You don't... Anthony you don't have to get a tattoo."
"I want a tattoo." He said, his brow furrowed determinedly. "Um just... maybe my whole arm was ambitious."
"I like a man who can admit he was wrong."
"I never said I was wrong."
"You did a bit." She can't keep the smirk off her face as their eyes catch together and she clears her throat. "Come back Friday and I'll do the tulips for you."
"Friday, yeah, Okay." He stands slowly, the plastic cup held between his teeth, looking at her from under his eyelashes. "Can I... compensate you for your time today?"
"No, the story of a little lordling passing out on my chair is going to be hilarious enough for that, thanks though. I can probably dine out on that for a while."
He flushed. "Will you... tell your boyfriend? Or sorry Girlfriend? significant other?"
"No boyfriend to tell." Kate said quietly ignoring Sophie's guffaw across the room with a covert rude hand gesture.
"Okay well, I'll see you on Friday."
"You will. If you can keep your eyes open this time."
He rolled his eyes. "i think I would feel better if I knew what it was going to feel like."
Kate stared back at him for a long moment before he sighed, snapping on a pair of gloves and holding out her hand for his, trying to ignore the swooping in her stomach when he took it so gently.
"I'm going to give you a tiny smiley face, and I'll cover it with the flowers next time."
She watches as he watches with one eye closed as the needle moves towards his kin, two little dots and a curved line and she's done and he's still standing.
"That wasn't so bad."
"See, you won't have any problems."
"Yeah... maybe not."
"Okay I'd like to amend my statement." Sophie said as Anthony left, casting a glance over his shoulder at the little shop. "He was flirting but you Kate Sharma were flirting back."
"I wasn't."
"Mmmmmm Danielle agrees with me." Sophie nudged the girl.
"You two would be so cute together."
"Shut up, Danielle." Kate rolled her eyes. "Or I'll tell Auntie Im that you were in here today."
"Ahh and that's a decree!" Sophie called out. "Lady Kate has decreed that no one shall laugh about the handsome posh boy who wants her to mark his skin forever so desperately, he'd die to do it."
"You're ridiculous, it was just flirting, it's not going anywhere."
But two years later, at their wedding, that smiley face is still very much visible on Anthony's wrist.

CW BELOW THE CUT: Eating Dis0rder thoughts and behaviors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You couldn’t lie to yourself, it was getting bad once again. You had been in a safe spot with your eating habits, but all good things come to an eventual end. As the most dreaded part of your day arrived, you mentally prepared to face your greatest rival: mealtime.
Opting for a basic salad, and a small bowl of fruit, you obtain your lunch and sit outside of the cafeteria, tucked away in a little corner. You always loved the space, since it was out of the way of almost every other person’s field of view.
You hesitantly placed the plate and bowl in front of you, slowly sitting down in the hard, plastic, chair. When you went to pick up your fork, your hand shook violently in protest.
Sighing, you put the fork down back in its home next to the plate. You ran your head through your hands as tears burned your eyes. You remembered the words of your friends, more-so they burned in your subconscious.
‘It’s not hard, just eat.’
‘You’re doing this to yourself’
‘Woah here we go again, who would’ve guessed?’
‘Just get over it’
Just get over it… just… just eat. It’s not hard. It’s-
“Hey.”
You slowly brought your teary eyes up to meet shining amber ones. The boy standing before you was clad in a yellow hoodie and black pants. He had red hair, accompanied by a headband, and he was holding a tray of food. “Do you… uh, do you mind if I.. if I join you?”
Sniffling and wiping your tears with an embarrassed chuckle, you agreed hesitantly. “Y-Yeah. Sorry I’m uh, I’m just-“
“No worries.” The unnamed boy said with a patient smile, setting his tray on the table and sitting down, “I couldn’t just sit and listen to you cry, so I wanted to have lunch with you. I hope I’m not making anything worse for you.”
“No! Not at all, I’m just having one of those days, if you know what I mean.” You reply quickly, trying to awkwardly laugh through the situation.
“Oh trust me, I know all about the days.” The red haired-male said, resting his cheek on his closed fist, “I’m Reki by the way, Reki Kyan.” He beamed a close-eyed smile.
“I’m (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)!” You chirped in response, feeling a little better due to his cheerful demeanor.
“It’s nice to meet you, (Y/N)! So tell me, what do you find to be special about you?” Reki asked happily, picking up a French fry from his tray and popping it into his mouth, “Man, the food in the cafeteria is either gourmet, or prison-grade.”
The comment elicited a chuckle from you. Your attention turned down to the untouched salad in front of you, it’s contents mocking you. You knew it was maybe 250-300 calories, but it was just too many. Sure, you can have some jello when you get back home, but you needed some kind of protein to keep from falling asleep in class.
You picked up your fork, perpetually shaky hands doing nothing to help you do so. “Well since you put me on the spot, I’ve forgotten every interesting thing about me.” You replied awkwardly, stifling a pitiful laugh.
“That’s alright! Im more than happy to go on and on about how coooool I am.” Reki chimed in response. “I love to skateboard. I’ve been doing it for so long, I couldn’t even tell you how old I was when I started-“
His rambling fell deadly upon your ears as you look down at the still untouched salad. You wanted to take a bite of it, just to keep your potential new friend from running away. You just couldn’t bear it… the thought of the empty calories hitting your empty stomach was too much to bear.
You sighed as more tears brimmed fresh in your lash line. You put the fork down in defeat, once again. Eyes blaring holes into the sickeningly-sweet bowl of untouched fruit.
Within a short moment, you felt a warmth encapsulate your shaking hand. You felt a thumb gently rubbing the base of your own, a comforting gesture you found that you seriously lacked in life.
“It’s alright… I know exactly how you’re feeling right now.”
Once again looking up, you managed to see Reki through your clouded vision. His features were sympathetic, as if he truly understood.
“N-No it’s.. it’s nothing.” You reply, sniffling.
“(Y/N)…” He smiles at you sadly, “It’s hard for me sometimes too.”
A short gasp rips from your lungs as you take in the genuinity of his voice. The tears that brimmed at your lash line were now falling on your lap as you hung your head shamefully. “I just want to be normal, Reki.” You whisper through your blossoming hysterics.
The red-haired male wastes no time standing up and kneeling down in the grass, so he could wrap his arms around you securely. “I’ve got you…” he whispered, “It’s okay, you’re okay.”
Reki held you with a firm gentleness, with enough pressure to show you he would never leave, but enough softness to keep you from feeling trapped. He held you close and gently rubbed the space between your shoulders. “I’m so proud of you for making it this far.” He whispered, once more sending you into hysterics.
“I-I- I’m just so… so tired of it, Reki.” You choked, “I’m tired of being terrified of something I need to survive. I’m tired of seeing food as a measurement of mental fortitude. I’m tired of having to earn the right to eat certain things by losing weight. I’m tired of never having energy during the day because I’m so under-fed.” You confessed, sinking deeper into the embrace.
“I understand. It may not seem it, but I truly have been where you are before. My relationship with food has improved but, not well…” the red-haired boy replied, “It helped having Joe and Cherry around. Hell, even little Miya was like my personal cheerleader. I know this isn’t a one-time-fix and then poof you’re normal, it’s a difficult and sometimes gross process.”
You nodded, taking in every word.
“Do you mind sitting in the grass? That chair can hardly be comfortable.” Reki asked suddenly, arms retreating from your figure.
You giggled as you settled into the grass next to him. “The chair wasn’t uncomfortable, your knees just hurt, didn’t they?” You dared to tease, sniffling and wiping your remaining tears.
“Hey! I’ll have you know that I have very big concern about the health of your tailbone going numb, thank you. If your butt goes numb, I’m not carrying you to your next class.” The redhead teased, hands absentmindedly running through your hair. “We’ll get through this.” He replied.
You sniffled and agreed with a quiet nod. “We… we will.”
“Together.” Reki whispered, holding your hand once more.
Connecting your free hand with the other two, you smiled at Reki as a single tear slipped from your eye.
“Together.”

Bad biographies: John Lennon's parents' divorce
One of the most discussed aspects of John Lennon's story is his parents and their lack of role in his life. John's broken family had a great influence over is personality and art, most notably his well-received Plastic Ono Band solo album.
John's parents did not divorce but they separated for 12 years.
Many people find this strange. Missing from discussion online is a sense of understanding to their position. I have heard people use this as evidence of Julia (John's mother) being irresponsible or erratic. In not divorcing her first husband her second family had to deal with a lot of stigma and other issues. I believe that this is either due to it not being explained well or absent from biographies and other sources.
Tumblr media
John and his parents, Julia and Alfred. They seperated when John was about four, he lived with his aunt but would visit his mother often.
The short answer to this is that the 1969 Divorce Reform Act and the 1973 Matrimonial Causes Act created the divorce laws we would recognise today and there were many restrictions to divorce before that time.
Due to certain specifics of their situation and the law at that time Julia needed Alf to agree to a divorce. She was also greatly restricted by her financial situation and Alf being very difficult to locate.
During the sixties Alf would remarry. His second wife Pauline Jones would adapt his memoirs into a published book: Daddy Come Home: True Story of John Lennon and His Father by Pauline Lennon
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pages 96 and 99. According to them it was Alf who was the barrier to divorce. They were aware of Julia's repeated attempts to divorce, although too late because she had died before then. Alf states that it never occurred to him that they would divorce and would have agreed had he known. He claims that his younger brother Charlie rejected the divorce on his behalf, even the offer of quite a lot of money.
You cannot take what they say at face value. Alf is writing the memoir to clear his name in the eyes of John and the public, a relationship he was trying to repair. Pauline wants to defend her husband from perceived criticism and reassure her sons that their father was a good man.
That said, they could have been defensive and blamed others but instead they present regret over what happened. The accuracy may be doubtful, but Alf is most likely to blame and regrets this.
Tumblr media
In particular the impact on John and his family would have been the shame of John's younger sisters being born illegitimately. People cared if somebody was a bastard in those days and as a couple their relationship was considered "living in sin". It may have influenced John to marry his girlfriend when she became pregnant to protect her and the baby, a young marriage that became difficult for them both.
When Julia died her next of kin was Alf and the girls were taken in by relatives rather than their father. The couple had false birth certificates and disguised themselves as a married couple to secure housing. The stress and shame of their situation must have been difficult and likely would have impacted John.

Glass Desert: Second entry I did for a writing competition.
“What are we doing here again, Asar?” I asked turning to the man on my left, my bored words tumbling exhaustedly from my lips, the smothering heat dragging them down to the floor.  “We’re standing guard in case anyone tries to come through the gate to the Emir’s palace.” Asar replied, his words not offering anymore energy than my own, resting his head against his shoulder as he leaned back into his chair, the ancient plastic creaking under the man’s weight. “And why are we doing that?” I continued, dragging one eye off the empty sands before me to look at him, feeling it sting in protest at the sudden movement.  “Because they need someone to do it.” He responded in an exhale, leaning forward slightly, poking the brim of his nose out of the guard post we sat in, illuminating the old scar that ran up the right side of it.
“Then why us?” I continued, though knowing the answer, simply hoping for some words to fill the dead silence that hung around this place. “Because no one wants to do it.” He again replied, dutifully indulging my hope, as the kindly man so often did, as he stared deeply into one clump of glass, out before us in the desert. “And no one wants us.” He finished with a hot chuckle, a smile cracking itself across his dried face, his brow mostly hidden under his officer’s cap, furrowed slightly in mirth. I joined him in his chuckle, shaking my head slightly as a smile pulled itself across my lips, my shaggy moustache tickling my nose as I did so.
We went back to our silence, dutifully staring out into the pointlessly empty glass desert. The occasional beam of light angrily darting through the misshapen clumps of glass into our eyes, making us hiss in pain, cursing the cruel trick that was played on us. Once this part of the desert had been purely sand, though that may seem obvious. But then, through some small folly of great nations, they brought a roasting and scorching end to it all, and scorched and roasted the sand into glass. Giving us an empty horizon, in which the fractals of the dead light that is kin of what created it, dance. Trying foolishly to replicate the glowing face of their celestial relative.
Then, out of the heat warped horizon, surrounded by the fraudulent starlight of the glassy sands, something approached. I didn’t pay it much attention. More likely my eyes were tired from staring at beaming light for too long. Then, it came closer, and yet closer still, to the point where the small dot took a form for itself. A vehicle, approaching along the main drag up towards us.
“Look, do you see that or are my eyes going funny?” I asked Asar, not turning away from the newly coalesced form, and tapping him on the shoulder, pointing him in the direction of it. He poked his head far out of the booth, the slinking sun having cast a shadow over his face from the brim of his hat. He strained his gaze, his face scrunching up as he squinted out at my sighting, almost as if he had taken some sour medicine the doctors had forced upon him. “That’s a car.” He replied simply, not making much of an expression. Then seeming to have heard his own words, perked up.  “That’s a car!” Hopping up from the counter and grabbing his rifle from the rack behind us and rushing outside.
I jumped from my seat after him, stumbling on the leg of my chair flinging a sun bleached book to the ground, grabbed my rifle from the rack and joined him. The car took a few minutes to reach us, its shape slowly solidifying, throwing what little sand there was left up into a cloud behind it. Then, as it came within a few meters of us we pulled up our rifles, Asar calling for it to stop. It slowed to a stop, then out of the car stepped a man dressed in a tan coloured uniform, a fez fixed at a slant on his head, draped in beads and jewels, medals plastered in a great block on his breast.
Both I and Asar saluted him  as he approached us. “Hello your majesty.” He nodded to us kindly then motioned for us to join him in the car to escort him. “Well Hauz, I suppose this is what we’re doing here my friend.” Smiling at me widely as he finished, ducking into the driver's seat.
Second story from the previous writing competition. I am posting this to distract myself from all the posts celebrating the Queens death so I don't go on a rave about how Presidents are not any batter and have more spent on them per national capita. I like a monarchy head of state cause democracy has consistently failed to deliver for me, so why would I want that as my national figurehead.
