addams family &pjo crossover, thoughts?

Plot twist of the century.

Nico tracks down his remaining mortal family and it leads him to the Addams family.

He’s barely related to one of them. He can’t figure out which. But he’s somebody’s cousin or something.

He meets Morticia first. Nico is looking through his 1940’s emigration papers and finds the name Addams in it. He follows the trail and the first person he can find is Morticia. He tracks her down and sees her in an old grave yard looking at the plants. she reminds Nico of his mother. But Morticia can’t be his relative because her maiden name is Frump.

He gets up the nerve to knock on their door and when they answer they take a look at him they automatically assume he’s a relative. When he tells them his name they all light up. They know his story. Or at least his mother’s. The story of “cousin” Maria whose voice was like a sultry demon and whose opening heart welcomed all. They also know a little about his father. “The tall dark stranger” who she brought to dinner any time he was available.

The Grandmama laughs that the man must have been rather special for Maria to have two children with him before even asking for a wedding. “That’s who your parent is right? Bianca or Nico?”

When he hesitantly clarifies that he is Nico they barely react, “oh apologies for the assumption”.

The kids love him. Wednesday asks all kids of macabre questions and shows Nico her collection of various weapons and deadly instruments. Pugsly asks about how dying feels. Nico has to admit it’s nice to tell someone about the underworld and his time in Tartarus without them feeling pity for him.

Nico and the kids will “sneak out” to fight monsters. Apparently all the Addams are clear sighted. Nico gifts them both celestial bronze weapons and brings them along when he hunts small and less dangerous monsters.

Gomez is ecstatic to have another swordsman around and challenges Nico every chance he gets. Gomez is slightly disappointed that Nico insists on not using the gorgeous void black sword he always has at his hip. Nico always borrows a sword saying he likes the challenge of an unfamiliar weapon.

Lurch helps him with his PTSD, getting him tea in the middle of the night and being a comforting, quiet presence. Nico’s not sure if Lurch is a possessed corpse or what but he can’t find anything about Lurch in the underworld archive so he doesn’t question it.

Nico loves the Addams family. When he’s done with dealing with the godly BS that is his life he stays with them. It’s nice not being the odd one out.

Ok so do you think that, when Percy speaks to pegasi and hippocampi and horses, does he neigh or speak in English?

as funny as the thought of percy neighing is, it’s stated in the books that he speaks to animals and understands them via telepathy. so when the horses/pegasi/etc. neigh, they’re just very passionately expressing their thoughts, but he’s actually understanding their thoughts, not the neigh. same with him. when he speaks to them audibly, he speaks english, but they understand the thoughts he’s thinking as he says the words. you know what i mean? like they understand each others thoughts, rather than translating each others audible communication.

Sorry this is random but, since you like Percy and Nico too, wanted to talk about this idea i have : To save Percy's life, Nico gives Percy the potion of Endymion. Catch is he's stuck in immortal sleep were they can only visit each other in shared dreams. Nico needs to find the cure, but is so tempted to keep Percy like this because Percy seems so happy in his dreams and he can't be hurt or killed anymore.

that's an awesome idea!! i like the angst potential - percy is happy there, but he wouldn't be if he'd had an idea of what's happening around him in the real world (sally, annabeth, etc).

i think i'd prefer percy as the one who wants to stay (he's unaware of everything but the peacefulness of that world - of course he wants to stay there, "why don't you stay too?") and tries to convince nico while he's desperately trying to find a cure, struggling with being seen as 'suspicious' as the person who administered the potion and the only one who can see him while trying not to get swept up by dream!percy

She is traumatized, and I can fix her. OR make her worse, but is that really a bad thing? She's sarcastic, caring, and funny. I'm rambling, aren't I? heh, I really love her.

Callie: I do like being called pet names, but only by a select few. That select few being Lorelai, Az, Luke, Silena, Ethan, and Alabaster. Chris lost his right when he stayed with CHB. Anyways, sometimes a pet name will slip out. My go-to would probably be honey, sweetheart, or just sweetie. What? It's the mom friend in me.

30.) If you could do anything and be forgiven for it, what would you do?

Callie: *maniacal laughter* YES! Finally! I love this question! I have a whole list. It's numbered by how much I'd actually be willing to do it and each numbered section is alphabetized. But for the sake of time and your sanity, I will only do the one I want to do but know if I do complete it I'd be sent to Tartarus and tortured for all eternity and then some. I'd kill Percy Jackson and blame it on Zeus. Or Alabaster, but I'd blame Zeus first.

Star Trek all the way. Tho there’s not much info about it, but I’d like to think Alabaster’s dad got him into the show cuz he was an enthusiast. And later Al got his second dad, Dr Claymore, into it.

Bad. Well I mean he never really settled in CHB and I doubt he got the chance to play any video games in the Titan army.

Either way, irrespective of the story, I think he’d be better in the classic game instead of Mario kart.

i think that scene in botl when annabeth sits at the poseidon table and percy is quaking in his boots is an accurate representation of how they value following the rules. if you think about it, the only time percy purposefully breaks a rule is when he absolutely has to. like, when he illegally joined a quest to save his best friend who was held hostage...twice. otherwise, percy tries his best to behave. annabeth, on the other hand, will commit arson for fun. and we love them both equally.

I did not notice that, but you are absolutely correct. I doubt The intentionally went for The if Luke and Percy had kids route they absolutely do look like if a book Percy and Luke had kids.

Disclaimer: I ship these characters. You think their age gap, makes relationship unhealthy in real life. i’m a firm believer, that if their age gap wasn’t as bad they would’ve been shipped to hell and back the shipped already. They are narrative foils it was always gonna happen.

I think it’s kind of sweet. I always view Luke and Percy as soulmates, whether platonic, romantic or just twin flames destined to mirror each other.

Shrek au: Honestly it could go both ways. I can see Nico both as a princess in a tower. But also someone whos a lonely monster and hates people. Percy I can see as a princess in a tower too. But also as a monster and that's fed up with people( mostly his Apollo series version) but I honestly would rather have Nico as the princess mostly so Percy can toss an angry and pissed off Nico over is shoulder very easily. And Nico saying something like, "Put me down! I am the prince of the underworld! This is not how knights/Heroes are suppose to behave!"
