Adrien Agreste: AKA Black Cat of Chaos. Vice Captain of the miracle Pirates. Devil Fruit: Break break fruit: A Paramecia type that allows the user to destroy anything that makes contact with his left hand (so long as he wills it). Bounty: 444,444,444 berries. (Most notable crime: Attempted murder of a celestial dragon (this was Gabriel agreste, and it was real)) (his bounty is Alive only) (he is the son of the celestial dragon which is hidden)
Alya Cesaire: Aka Mirage Thief. Navigator of the Miracle Pirates. No devil fruit. Has weapons that make illusions and uses dials to deliver strong attacks. Also handles finances. Bounty: 111,222,333 Berries. (Most Notable crime: Stealing from a Celestial Dragon)
Nino Lahiffe: Aka. Shell shocker. Helmsman of the Miracle pirates. A Sea turtle Fishman (basically looks human but has a shell and greener skin). Master of Fishman karate, special technique Bubble art. Perfect at reading the flow of the ocean. Bounty: 231, 123, 321 Berries. (Most Notable crime, Freeing slaves from a celestial dragon)
Maxkov Kante: Aka. Metal scourge. Shipwright of the Miracle Pirates. Half human and half machine as a result of Vegapunk. He has an Ai intelligence inside him named Markov, thus choosing to go by Maxkov. Creates new tech for his crew. Bounty: 101,001,100 berries. (Most notable crime, Having information the world government wants)
Alix Kubdel: Aka. Devil Rabbit. Archeologist of the Miracle Pirates. Devil fruit: Clock Clock fruit: A Paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to rewind or fast forward time around them by holding their breath. The more it’s used the bigger the headache the user gets. Can read ponoglyphs. Bounty: 333,333,333 berries. (Most notable crime: Threat to world government)
Rosé Lavillant: Aka Fragrant Healer. Healer/doctor of the miracle pirates. Rosé was a sick child that thanks to a master of herbal alchemy saved her life. Studying the herbs for years she became incredibly good at curing diseases. Her dream is to never let a child suffer from sickness like she did. Bounty: 80,080,008 berries (most notable crime: Assisting the miracle pirates in their attack on Sabody)
Luka Couffaine: aka Serenading Serpent. Musician/Therapist of the miracle Pirates. Devil fruit: Snake-Snake fruit: Model: Viper. His snake form allows him to slither quietly and use potent poisons when needed. He is looking for his sister who was kidnapped by the world government. Bounty: 150,000,000 berries ( Killing a vice admiral and attacking a war lord of the sea)

I apologize if this has been asked before but how different would the Mominette/Dolls AUs be if Luka was their "Dad" and not Adrien? He can still be their uncle or something.
There would be some differences.
Probably post-Silencer, Marinette makes a Littlebug Doll for Luka. She "wakes up" while he's playing a guitar and Luka is understandably surprised when he's broken out of his "zone" to the feeling of Littlebug resting against him while listening to him play.
Luka is understandably surprised because okay, the doll is clearly alive. But she's peaceful and seems to like his song so he keeps playing and observes her for a bit.
Littlebug: (P erks up at one of the songs he plays)
Luka: Oh. You like that?
Littlebug: (Nods)
So Luka plays more and Littlebug smiles and sorta sways with the tune.
But she sways too far at one point and falls over.
Luka picks her up.
Littlebug is sheepish but smiles at him in thanks.
It reminds him of Marinette—whom Luka remembers was the one to give him this doll and figures he should check on her because if her doll is alive, it may be because she's an akuma.
He calls Marinette and is happy to confirm she ISN'T an akuma. But does immediately tell her that her Ladybug doll came to life.
Marinette: ....wait. What?
This results in Marinette knowing about Littlebug much, MUCH sooner. A lot of things happen sooner, actually. The Dolls meeting and becoming friends/siblings. Luka and Marinette discovering the other's dolls and starting to co-parent. And the Dolls determining that the two ARE their parents and start calling them "Mama" and "Papa".
But since this is still season 3 era, what DOES take time to work out is the reveal of Marinette's identity as Ladybug.
The other issue would be whether it's Chaton or Little Viperion staying with Marinette. Still debating...
On the one hand, I know everyone adores Chaton and he is very much a Mama's Boy and it wouldn't feel right to put him with anyone else. Plus part of me argues that changing their dad figure doesn't necessarily mean the dolls themselves have to be swapped.
....on the other hand, it is a Little Viperion. A Neonate, if you will.
What IS clear though is that there would be a major difference in how the Dolls act because of this.
Marinette made Littlebug to protect Adrien and make him happy. And given Adrien's life, Littlebug takes her "job" very seriously.
But Luka....while I don't doubt Marinette would make Littlebug for the same reasons and the same "purpose", the fact is that Luka's got a pretty easy-going life and is capable of handling his own problems. So no one is threatening Littlebug's Papa or trying to throw her into trash bins. Littlebug of course is gonna want to protect him during akuma fights, but otherwise, he's fine.
Then there's the OTHER point that Luka is more chill but also wouldn't be as much of a pushover as Adrien. He would be more responsible when looking after his little Doll/sweetheart/mini menace. So he wouldn't let Littlebug get away with as much. :p
But that's okay! Because Luka has Juleka and Anarka both of whom would let Littlebug get away with murder. And let's be real here...how long do you really think Luka would manage to go before Littlebug gets discovered?
So yeah. Anarka has magical grandkids and just ADORES them. And teaches them all the things they need to know. Like how to pick locks. How to evade pursuers. How to deal with enemies.
Littlebug is gonna be a pirate!
Luka would try to be the responsible parental figure (which Marinette would certainly appreciate)...but it only helps so much when Anarka encourages the antics.
Then there's Juleka...
Shy sweet Juleka.
Littlebug is a serious Doll with a serious purpose. And as per her purpose, she wants to protect and dote on someone. Luka is her main person she's bonded to and was made for, but he's mostly self sufficient and it's clear he looks out for Littlebug more than the other way around. However, whether through the Dolls' innate empathic abilities or just the vicariousness of children, Littlebug adores anything Luka cares about, and Luka cares about his little sister.
Cue Littlebug doting on Juleka.
If she's not with Luka or Marinette, Littlebug is never far from Juleka. She will defend the Princess's honor and break any nasty curse that threatens her smile!
Just try and pull another stunt, Chloe. SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
So yes. Littlebug's got quite the family. Music and deliveries with Luka. School and modeling with Juleka. Fashion and playtime with Marinette. And fun and crimes with Anarka.
...and just wait until Jagged and Penny join the fun...

Vampire AU - The Main Group
Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Still a klutz and a dork even as a blood-sucking creature of the night. She tries to be intimidating, but is usually seen as too adorable (the only one cuter than her is Rose.)
Dreams of turning Chloe and Lila into her mind controlled servants as revenge for their torment of the other human students. Also wants to turn Adrien into a vampire so he’ll live as long as them.
Nathaniel Kurtzberg
An artist who uses blood for his paint.
Even though he dresses like a classical vampire, he’s a Twilight fan. Marc’s a huge fan of Bela Lugosi.
Marc Anciel
A shy and nervous vampire who writes eerie tales for his classmates.
He’s written many songs of angst or joy of his love for his boyfriend, Nathaniel. You can find him and Juleka playing spooky songs on the pipe organ, and laughing like maniacs.
Juleka Couffaine
A eerie and gothic girl who can be kind to her friends, yet terrifying to her enemies.
She’s actually a major shy dork when arround her family and when she gets embarassed.
Rose Lavillant
A peppy and cheerful girl, with an attitude so bright for a girl who hates the sun.
She’s the vampire that works best with kids, acting as the spooky yet loveable vampire that’ll protect children from the bad guys.
Alix Kubdel
A rebellious tomboy with a love for pranks and dares. Uses her vampiric skills to mess with Kim.
Due to being the shortest of the group, she uses hypnosis and trickery to strike fear into the hearts of her victims.
Various Facts
They all love to wear cloaks! They often give each other cloak hugs, where they smother each other in their capes.
A year in a monster’s life is 12 years for a human. This means that the group are 14 in monster years, but 168 in human years.
They only suck the blood of criminals, animals, and people who have harmed them. Though they still love to playfully scare the citizens of Paris as well as their classmates.
They hangout in a huge creepy castle, but they all live close by in seperate homes. They plan on buying the castle after graduation, and moving in together.
The sun doesn’t kill them, but it burns their skin and generally hurts pretty bad. Umbrellas and sunscreen usually do the trick.
They’re great friends with the demonic Alya, a gorgon named Mylene, and a golem named Ivan, who chose to accompany the vampires when they chose to attend DuPont. These monsters use glamor to appear human to other students.
Juleka has a lovely relationship with her vampiric parents, as the blood-suckers always planned on staying together while having kids. The Couffaine vampires love to rock out and hunt for blood together.
They can shapeshift into small bats, if they want to spy on people without being seen.
The Dupain-Cheng’s bakery has been around for generations, with Tom and Sabine switching up their looks in order to convince people that they aren’t immortal. Jagged Stone is an incredibly famous rockstar, while Anarka is a vampiric pirate. Nathaniel and Marc have made money over the years writing and painting works of art. Rose has been spotted and known as the “Charity Girl” for appearing at various charities over the years while Alix and her family are known for showing up at various points in history.

Day 8-Boat (Tinkerbell and the pirate fairy au) Female!Reader
A/N: I know it’s a weird au but I recently rewatched the movie and I can’t stop thinking about it
A knock on your door woke you up,it was the middle of the night and whoever was knocking wasn’t stopping.
“What could be so important?” You opened the door to see Luka standing there,he quickly moved closer to you.
“It’s very important,come on” He dragged you behind him,begging him to slow down. He only did when he reached his house. “You need to see this” He dragged you inside and seemed to hesitate before saying “Just promise you’ll keep it a secret”
“Luka,what is it?” He pulled the sheet off the table,showing a bunch of supplies,Vials,bottles and bowls. He grabbed one of the bowls and pulled the lid off,letting you look inside. It was filled with what looked like regular pixie dust,but it was orange. He dipped his fingers into it and moved to the window.
“Back up a bit” He extended his hand and the moonlight bent at his fingertips.
“How are you doing that,you’re not supposed to-” He turned back to you.
“incredible isn’t it?”
“Where did you even find this dust?”
“I made it”
“Bluebell,you know you shouldn’t be messing with the dust.It’s too dangerous” You held his hands,still glowing with dust. “I don’t want you to get hurt”
“I appreciate your concern but I need to do this. If I don’t we’ll never know what it's capable of”
“I’m not gonna stop you am I? How can I help” His eyes widened “If I can’t stop you,I could at least make sure you don’t get hurt”
The sunlight on your face woke you up,you yawned,not realizing you had fallen asleep. Looking over you saw Luka asleep on your shoulder,some blue dust on his face. You shook him carefully.
“What time is it?”
“I don’t know” He yawned before stretching his arms above his head. You pointed out the dust on his cheek which he quickly wiped off. “I should get going”
“Wait” He grabbed your arm. “Well now that we made the dust,we still need to test it out”
“How about tonight?”
“That sounds great” He seemed to blush at the idea,it was cute and you couldn’t stop yourself from kissing his cheek.
The late night rendezvous continued until he had used up all of the blue dust,which you knew would happen and you thought that was it until he somehow showed up with three more pieces. You wanted to say something,because you were worried. If someone found out you didn’t know what would happen to him. You decided to stay quiet about the whole situation,opting to distance yourself from him. That was until you started not seeing him anywhere,after three days you decided to check on him. Knocking on the door,it slowly opened. It hadn’t been closed properly or locked,which made you even more worried. Stepping inside you saw that it was messy,like he had left in a hurry. You were later told by Marinette that someone found out about what he was doing,and he had escaped before someone could even speak to him. So he just left without saying anything,without saying goodbye.
*One year later*
It had already been a year since he left and it was time again for the season's celebration.
“Are you alright?” Marinette asked,putting her hand on your shoulder.
“It’s weird to be celebrating today. It’s been a year since he left,I just can’t stop thinking about him”
“I miss him too,but we just have to move on”
“I don’t understand how everyone can just move on like he was never a part of our lives!” You hadn’t realized that you yelled until everyone was staring at you. You left as quickly as you could. Flying up into one of the trees that let you see the festival still,you just sat there. This was where the two of you would hide when you didn't want someone to find you. Everyone was at the celebration so it was strange to see someone fly by you,you flew behind them,ducing in between the trees so that they wouldn’t see you. They looked extremely familiar but you couldn’t see their face. You saw them fly behind the audience in the stadium,throwing around some pink glitter that made flowers grow. That wasn’t glitter, it was pink pixie dust,and there was only one person who knew how to do that. “Luka” You whispered,feeling like saying his name would somehow prove to you that it was really him. The flowers bloomed and you saw everyone fall asleep and him flying away,towards the pixie dust tree. You followed behind him,until you reached the tree. He immediately made his way to the room with the blue dust,you heard the clicking of the lock followed by it opening. Peaking your head through you finally got a good look at him,it really was him,he was back. He was back,but he was back to take more dust,not for anything else. You were the only one who could stop him right now,you just hoped he’d actually listen to you. You peaked through again and he was gone,but you didn’t see him fly out and all the dust was still there. You took one step in,looking around. He quickly jumped in front of you,pushing you back against the wall. His sword against your throat,which quickly dropped to the ground when he finally looked at you.
“Y/N”
“Hey,Bluebell” You could see his eyes get softer and like they could flood with tears at any moment. He hugged you,wrapping his arms around you as tightly as he could as you did the same. He suddenly pulled away from you to grab the blue dust before turning back to you again.
"I know I left without a word and I have a lot of explaining to do,but please come with me"
"Luka,I-" You were going to say no,but all you could think of was how everyone moved on with their lives and did not care where he was or if he was even okay. You felt like the only one who cared and you weren't going to make him feel like you didn't. You weren't going to pretend like he was never a part of your life. "Of course I'll go with you"
"You truly are the only one that understands me. Come on you're going to love my boat" He took your hand as you flew,he led you to the coast.
The ship was beautiful as he said,he had a small crew but they seemed to be close,it gave you some comfort knowing that he had someone there and wasn't completely alone. They quickly welcomed you into the group. They set sail and gathered on the deck to just talk,they kept asking questions about you which wasn't exactly surprising. You answer what you were comfortable with until Luka stood up which made everyone stop and look at him.
"It's getting late,everyone get some sleep, we have a long day ahead of us. Y/N come with me" You followed close behind him,he started talking about the dust and what he learned.
"Luka" He stopped and turned to face you,giving you his full attention. "You said you'd explain" He sighed,his face falling. You knew this wasn't going to be pleasant but you had to know. He sat down at the table in his workshop,gesturing for you to sit down which you did.
"After I ran out of the blue dust I tried to get more,which was way too easy" He said,bragging about it but simultaneously bringing up a really good point. "Anyway I was found out when someone noticed some pink dust on my arm,I was kicked out" He paused for a moment "so I left because I didn't want to get you in trouble"
"You know I would've left with you"
"I know"
“Well I’m with you now and I’m not going anywhere”

A game I would love to make one day is one with these two as protagonists, they make me so happy and it’s always a joy to think how would they react to certain scenarios and what would they do if this and that. I even have a game idea written down with a plot and side characters and a whole new setting outside their origins as fan characters for CDDWTD.
But this past year I’ve grown to be wary and kinda scared of fandoms.
(My thoughts are under the cut, you don't have to read them, but I decided to post this because I am tired of tiptoeing around)
The only thing stopping me from making this game is that I love Luka and Goldie, they mean lots to me, and I know what can happen if they get attention and become "popular".
People will ship Luka and Goldie romantically and fully ignore Ditzy and Goldie are partners (even if is stated in the game and it's an important part of it). I've seen it over and over again, people ignoring the female character and favoring mlm relationships even if there are other canon mlm in the story. Even if they are not straight, the male-female couple gets torn apart.
Goldie being asexual and not interested in sex will be ignored and not respected.
Ditzy will get turned into a bitch, eye candy, and/or just seen as a sexy character with nothing else going on with an empty head.
I don't even dare to add Bebe to the imaginary game, what would they do to her or Soda.
To see them all squished into infinite AUs where half of them are just new ways to hyper-sexualize them and anything else about them is irrelevant (and I am aware of the contradiction of me saying this as someone that makes adult content on the side, but that's a topic for another day).
I would love to work on a game with characters that I adore and make me so happy to work with, but I don't want to see them butchered and pieced together by strangers that just want a new "blorbo" that has nothing to do with the original content.
It is scary and frustrating to feel no one cares about the original content, it's just about making AUs and using the characters as playthings.
Don't get me wrong, AUs can be fun! I like to imagine some of my stories as AUs sometimes, what would happen if it was a film, or what if they traded personalities, maybe in this one they are pirates. But if you have been in fandoms for a while, you have seen what AUs I am talking about above.
I know it's not all fans and not all fandoms, but it does feel like it's more often now than before, sometimes the original content is not even halfway done when it reaches popularity and there are already a thousand AUs tearing it apart to mold it into different things far from the original.
I can’t make games where I am not attached to the characters, I tried that with Jake, but eventually, I had to give him something that made me want to work on the project because I can't work on something I am not passionate about, that makes my brain tic and excited to push forward.
Making games makes me happy, making stories and seeing the characters come to life is amazing and I don't want to stop creating out of fear, but right now I don't know how to create while finding a safe place for the characters and stories I care so much about and that could make someone else happy.
So yeah, this has been in my head for a while, and I know I will step on a couple toes with this, but I'm a bit tired of walking on eggshells and life is too short to live wary of everything I do and say and think about. You don't have to share my thoughts, nor agree, but this is what's been in my mind. Maybe one day I'll find a way to make Luka and Goldie game, I would love to, but maybe today is not the day.

Because one of our mottos here is why just do it when you can overdo it we’ve collected some scenarios suggested by our discord friends for some of our prompts, but these are completely optional, and you can take the prompts in whatever direction you’d like.

1. Pirate/Mermaid
The kind mermaid/merman that likes to explore on their own has a deserted island they like to visit. One day, a pirate on the run takes haven there. They don't look as menacing as the rumors say though
Pirate capitan luka having a mermaid wife, she always follow his ship and luka had a tank on his room for when she spend the night, also mermaid marinette is fascinated by clothes, Luka had an storage space for all the clothes she like
2. Accidental/Involuntary Transformation
Luka is turned into a merman to save him from drowning, and the smitten Marinette shows him his new underwater home. (Or vice-versa.)
If you wish upon a shooting star it becomes a mermaid/merman if it lands in the sea....
luka and marinette (two mermaids) accidentally get turned human after messing with some magic. chaos ensues while they attempt to blend in with other human beings.

3. Sirens
"You had earplugs in! Why did you steer straight for the Siren's Rocks??" "Did you see how blue the siren's eyes were?"
Siren decides this sailor is too cute to kill
4. Songs of the Sea
Luka the "drowned one" plays the guitar underwater (apparently that's a thing you can do) to a group of fascinated deep sea mermaids
"Where on earth did you get to last night?"
"I heard the mermaids singing."
“That's your excuse every time you disappear.... Oh my god, that really is a mermaid!"
On a deep sea mission to collect whalesong (for an album project?), there's something else down there with them, and it's singing back.

As far as dates went, Lukas couldn’t explain. Sure, it wasn’t exactly a date, since they had their four friends at tow. And it was at Legoland Billund, but the last time he had seen Mathias had been at the fishery of Freyja’s older brother in Iceland. Any time spent together that wasn’t strictly for work reasons was precious and hard to come by these months.
“We’ll go into the haunted house, first thing,” Mathias had promised him last night unprompted. “I think you’ll like that.”
“Hoping that I’ll jump into your arms?” Lukas had asked with a raised eyebrow and the hint of a smile on his lips.
“Psssht.” Mathias snorted. “I just know you like the vibe. But you can of course jump into my arms, should something scare you.”
Right now, Mathias showed him a catalogue of the customizeable minifigure parts one could buy at the store here. He had circled the latest pieces he wanted for his collection.
Out of the corner of his eyes and at the edge of his hearing, he caught a conversation between the rest.
“Don’t you think that we‘re all a little … too old for this?” Ráfi asked.
“Oh Ráfi, relaaax,” Freja said with a smile. “It’s fine to have fun.”
“It’s good even!” Frej backed his sister up. “Not every single day in life has to be spent doing something ‘worthwhile’. A day of kicking back is healthy!” Lukas didn’t know who showed more skin between the two on this summer day.
“I can have fun, thank you very much,” Ráfi said with a small smile. “I didn’t know you like it that much.”
“It’s the best place to pick up single parents,” Freja said and Ráfi’s face fell.
“Wait, is that why you kept going on that dragon ride?”
Lukas looked to Mathias, who was still flipping through the book to find a particular hairstyle piece. The sun brought the freckles in his face out.
“Of course it is!” Freja chuckled and Frej grinned.
“It’s like it is with hunting – you’ve got to know what an animal likes, got to know what personality you’re looking for,” Frej said. “The dads with the primary school kids are about the best, but the safest bets with moms are when they’ve got at least one teenager in there – “
“I’ve grasped the concept, thank you.” Ráfi looked to Trygve. “And you? Enjoying people watching?”
“Immensely.” They looked at them, eyes hidden behind their sunglasses. “But I know that you like a spot of friendly competition, so let’s find a place that engages that, hm?”
Ráfi smiled at their friendly smile.
“Hey Mads!” Freja called. “You’re coming with us?”
“The both of you,” Frej added while his sister rolled her eyes.
“Mads!”
“Huh?” Mathias looked up from the catalogue. “What’s up?”
“Are you two coming with us?” Trygve asked. “Not sure where we’re going yet, but I’m in a mood for a friendly competition.”
“Oh! Cool!” Mads said and looked at Lukas. “I mean …”
“Is this about the Haunted House thing?” he asked him.
“Oh, wanted to go to the haunted house?” Frej asked. “For some dark magic?”
“You can go without us,” Ráfi said and pointedly ignored his comment, as did Lukas. “And we’ll meet later again.”
“But it’s the most fun with everyone!” Freja argued. “We can do one of the pirate things, us against the Norwegians. Doesn’t that sound fun, Mads?”
“Or we can try other teams!” Frej said.
“I mean, it does.” Mathias laughed but looked to Lukas again. “But … I’ve kind of made a promise last night about doing something with Lukas …”
“You’ve sat around the entire morning in the café, I’m sure he can survive not being at your side for fifteen minutes,” Freja said and spared Lukas a sweet, but completely joyless smile.
And no matter how much telling Mathias that the Haunted House thing really wasn’t this big of a deal would play into her hands, he wasn’t playing her game in the first place. And it wasn’t a big deal.
“Isn’t there a thing where you can build your own boat?” Trygve asked, a frown between their brows – what peaked through the blonde curls anyways.
“Dunno?” Frej said.
“Yeah!” Mathias had lit up. “It’s over in the Polar Land, if you mean the one where you build a boat and then race others.”
“I think I mean that one,” Trygve replied.
“You want to play that against Mister Masterbuilder over there?” Freja asked, with a look of disbelief that her brother mirrored.
“I mean, at least that’s a challenge,” Lukas said and glanced at Mathias for a second, to see if the other picked up the compliment.
The corners of his mouth twitched into a smile at Mathias’ beam that tried – and failed – to fake some humility on top of it.
“Of course not!” Trygve replied. “Mathias, you’re not coming. That’s no fair competition and I quite like fair competition.”
Ráfi couldn’t help but chuckle. “Oh, do you now?”
“Certainly, you know me! So, you can’t come, Mathias. Terribly sorry, maybe later.”
“And I don’t think it’s much fun for you to watch,” Ráfi said. “Nor very fair if you came along and helped someone, either.”
“I … I suppose?” Mathias said.
“It’s fine,” Lukas said and grabbed Mathias’ hand. “I’m taking him to the Haunted House while you do that. No big deal.”

It’s one of my Guardian Luka AU fics that I had planned since ages ago...
Good news it that I’m posting Chapter 1 and 2 (open ending unless I figure out how the story continues).
Bad news is that I don’t plan to turn into a comic anymore.
I hope it makes sense... Enjoy?
Summary:
Guardian Luka AU
Luka recalls why he left Paris when he became the Guardian of the Miraculous and Marinette lost her memories. Now, eight years later, he receives a wedding invitation from his sister Juleka and he can't ignore it.
But she's going to be there... Right?

Chapter 1
Luka didn't regret becoming the guardian of the Miraculous. Marinette had verbally begged him not to take that weight and responsibility, but her heart song was desperately asking for help- for someone to lift that burden from her shoulders. To finally rest.
And Luka couldn't ignore that calling.
He loved her. He knew he always would. And seeing how healthier she looked after the Miraculous box was passed to him (and forgetting about everything), Luka was convinced he did the right thing.
But he couldn't stay nearby, he decided. With her memories of him (and everyone else) gone, no more walls were going to be there for her and Adrien to be together. His role was over. If Marinette was happy, so would he. He had to move on with his new life.
So he left Paris.
No previous warning. No goodbyes. No hints about his whereabouts.
Apparently.
Because in truth, he had secretly set his destination after the celestial guardian appeared in front of him: The Temple of the Miraculous. Su-Han had disliked and disapproved of him at first, but after a few years of training under his teachings, Luka had finally been acknowledged and trusted as an official Guardian of the Miraculous.
He got rid of his old worn-out clothes when he moved to China and, from then on, he wore Chinese-styled clothes instead: the honorary Guardian's Uniform- courtesy of his master.
Tight to his body, a red Chinese-style short tunic with black and golden details, along with a pair of linen pants that left his ankles exposed, his flat shoes following the same black color of his pants and some of the patterns as his tunic.
His attire wasn't his only change of looks. His once long hair was now short. His blue dye was gone and only his original black color remained on his hair- the same black that used to cover his now unpolished nails.
All traces of his past self seemed to be gone and he looked like a new person.
But no, he was the same. A pretender. Because his memories, unlike the one from the previous guardian, remained intact- always in his mind. And even if he didn't regret his choice, there were times he wished he could contact his past: his family, his friends… Marinette. She was the reason he decided to throw his previous life away and choose the one of jewels and Magic Gods instead.
All for her happiness. For all her nightmares to be gone for good.
Despite Su-Han's strict rules, he had never been able to throw away her guitar pick gift either, and had secretly hid it inside the Miraculous box with the kwamis' help.
As a certified Guardian, Luka had taken both Sass and Tikki as his companions, the rest of the kwamis secured in the pirate treasure chest shaped Miraculous box he was in charge of. He liked to let them out from time to time, and they were happy to help him craft musical instruments with him. When it came to the Miraculous, he was more cautious than his predecessor had been- secrets are secrets for a reason, and failing that rule had almost cost Ladybug her life during the final battle against Shadow Moth. (Well, it did, but thankfully Viperion was there to fix it- and to finally see and understand the truth Marinette had been hiding from him).
'Made for each other'
These words resonated in his head. All signs were there to convince him there would never be a place for Luka in his ex-girlfriend's heart. He had never stood a chance, right? She would be happy with her 'soulmate'. He had always been her second choice, anyway, memories or not.
But then… Why was he hesitating? 8 years had passed and now a wedding invitation from his sister reached him, taking away all his determination to never return to Paris.
How could he miss an event this important? His mother and sister would chase him and toss him from the Liberty into the Seine if he skipped it. But there… she was most likely going to be there too.
The song in his head. The girl with no memories. The girl from his dreams and his nightmares.
The love he could never forget…
Love- that strictly forbidden feeling for Guardians...
With Kalkki's help, he teleported himself to Paris that morning, a few hours prior to the Wedding. He was going to briefly greet his family, watch the vows from afar and leave- that was the plan. It was going to be a few hours and disappear as soon as he could. Avoid Marinette, avoid everyone else. A lighting speed visit.
But plans can fail, right? Especially when a certain red kwami couldn't stay still and flew away amid the Wedding after party. Luka knew she missed her previous wielder… but he had warned her! And Tikki was supposed to be serious about responsibilities! She was supposed to have learned something from her past mistakes! And Sass, as the leader of the magical box, wasn't supposed to encourage her to spy on their previous master. But she didn't seem to reason, Luka realized when he couldn't find the red kwami in his bag.
"Tikki?" He called, searching secretly, Sass doing also the same.
"I found her." the snake kwami said, and signaled behind him.
Luka let a relieved deep sigh "Thank God, Tikk-" and turned to spot the immobile red kwami embraced by thin fingers.
Now it was his turn to freeze.
Because Marinette was standing there.
More beautiful than ever.
And with Tikki on the palm of her hand.
His breathing stopped.
"Is this yours?" Her now more mature voice asked, looking up at him while he lowered his face.
The guardian nodded and straightened his hand so she could give the kwami back. He didn't dare to speak, probably couldn't, even if he tried.
"Red…" she whispered.
Luka kept his gaze away, avoiding her eyes. But unexpectedly, after she placed Tikki on Luka's hand, she didn't seem convinced to let her go. "I know this red… My missing Red… from my lost memories..." she said, rubbing her finger over Tikki's black dot on her head. "Tikki…" she mumbled.
And the word was enough to alert Luka. His heart skipped a beat.
"But I still need my…" she continued, after an acknowledging sigh. And it was then when Luka focused his terrified gaze on her sad eyes, before they lightened the next second, the moment they met with his.
"Blue," she gasped. "My missing blue"
Luka gasped, forgetting how to breathe, mouth half opened, until his steadiness broke as soon as a familiar word left her lips.
"Lu...ka…?"
His fears unfurled in his heart.
This wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't even possible.
How…?
“Finally… I found it...” a tear escaped the corner of her eyes. “The treasure chest of my dreams. The one that holds my happiness...”
And there he was- immobile, as if made of stone, in front of the girl he could never stop dreaming about. The chapter of love he never closed, opened widely once again. The badly stitched band-aid ripped in a moment. A loud heartbeat, more alive than ever …
And the most beautiful song in the world back in his head. His strength and his weakness.
His melody.

Sea fay for the ask game?

I basically have a full outline for sea fay and nothing else. I feel like marichat mermaid/pirate AUs are pretty cliche, so I'm on the fence if I really want to write this, but after finishing Ruin and Rising I couldn't get the Nikolai | Adrien parallel out of my head, so here we are.
the land and the sea are at war with each other, which Gabriel would like to solve with an arranged marriage between his son Félix, and the sea's princess, Marinette. in his vision this would basically make the sea their province -> profit
Marinette does not like this idea so she and Luka sneak into the castle and kidnap princess Chloé to have some bargaining chips for their sovereignty
pirate Chat Noir, runaway prince in hiding and Chloé's brother, is very much not on board with this idea.
he does still give them a ride, only so he can get Chloé back, but things go awry in the scuffle and he ends up capturing Marinette, while Luka escapes with Chloé. (I do have two agendas)
Marinette is having none of this damsel in distress deal, and Adrien is regretting every decision leading up to this arrangement, but I guess they have to try to get along until they can reach their goals

I made another AU!!! ...With nothing but the paid/side costumes
Kanade is a figurehead of a queen for a falling kingdom as prices continue to rise due the administrators taking more and more from the people without her being able to take control. Minori ends up becoming her personal guard due to her athletic talent, but her clumsiness made people not want her in the main guard
Kaito is her personal tutor/advisor even if not many people listen to him. He's plotting side things that she doesn't know about however
Saki, Kohane, Tsukasa, and Touya are all part of their own photography robin hood business. Kohane is the face of it with her unsuspecting dad, who she gets to take Touya in as an apprentice. No one ever suspects her involvement. Meanwhile Saki and Tsukasa are the ones who steal from the nobles and hand off the money earned to Touya who takes it and hands it out to people who need it when he is out taking photos.
This is Kaito's side business, as he's the one who usually has the houses they can steal from
Students who always seem to know what's going on in the kingdom. If anyone ever wants information, they are the ones to go to, but they always require a price in return. Part of why they know so much is because of Meiko, a spirit who watches over them
Both the Shinonomes have a penchant for death magic. Akito is the messenger between Kaito and the Tenmas, though he only knows Kaito. Mizuki is the one to keep him safe as they are a spirit only he can see after he finds the ribbon they are attached to one day and brings them back out. Ena can also see sprits, but can only do so when she dreams, so she draws what she can remember to bring the spirits peace. Lately, she's taken to drawing Mizuki
Shizuku is the kingdom's most renown garden owner. Airi is tasked with scoping out the garden to seen if her order of ninjas would be able to kidnap her for a client of theirs. She ends up being captured when the plants come alive due to Rui's magic. He's the real owner of the garden while Shizuku lends him the land. Due to rumors of this constantly happening, there are not many people who dare to enter the garden other than Kanade. When nothing bad happens to her, Airi decides to stick with Shizuku for a while
A group of travelers. When she was younger, Haruka used to sneak out of her noble home where she eventually met An who was playing outside. After An becomes a pirate, she pretends to have kidnapped Haruka so she didn't have to stay at home anymore. With the growing popularity of Shizuku's garden, Shiho didn't want any part of it, so she ends up leaving to make her own name fore herself. Soon after An became a pirate, she met Nene who's a siren. For a while, the two would sing together without seeing each other due to Nene being in the water. With An stopping by land more often, Nene decides she wants to start joining her.
Ichika is a magician and Emu is her fairy companion. Luka is the one who is teaching Ichika and they meet Nene when she stops by to ask for a way to walk on land. She is also the one who is occasionally called to the castle if anyone needs her magic or if she could help them out with a rogue magician. Ichika is aware that Saki is doing something but hasn't worked up the courage to ask if she's alright yet.
Mafuyu is a descendent of hummingbird shifters, known for being the kingdom's iconic bird. However, the power to shift has been slowly leaving her family and her mother has been making her be her best without the power. What Mafuyu's mother doesn't know is that she has the power to shift. Honami is a tree nymph who she often visits even though she didn't know about her at first. With Honami not asking questions, she decides to stick around.
With the dying magic, Miku is ironically born with the electricity as more and more people move on and find ways without it. She often travels between trees to explore the world when she came across Honami

ML au : Miraculous Piece: (Miracle Pirates meet the straw hats)
-The navy was in hot pursuit of the Miracle Pirates, and it seemed like there was no escape, until The strawhats came in out of nowhere and decimated them.
-Now at a port, Captain Marinette wanted to thank their fellow pirates, only to discover that they were the LEGENDARY strawhats. As in one of the YONKO crews.
-Marinette told her crew to behave. Thankfully the crew was fine with that.
-Sanji was more than happy to receive thanks from a lovely captain such at her, Adrien or Black Cat was told the chef to keep his hands to himself. (Remember the Miracle pirates are aged up to around Luffy’s age and older)
-Nami took care of the situation telling Sanji to be nice asking for a cool drink.
-Alix was a huge fan of Nico Robin and aspired to be like her. Robin was happy to meet another history buff.
-Luka and Brook got along as they played their instruments,
-Jinbe and Nino got along well, jinbe even teaching Nino a few new moves in Fishman karate.
-Zoro and Kagami were observing the other, curious about the other’s blades. There is a mutual respect. (Kagami can tell that she is no match for him right now. Especially with Enma)
-Maxkov was blown away by Franky’s ship and machinery. Franky was amazed by his cybernetics and the Ai intelligence.
-Chopper was getting cuddled by Rose, who thinks he’s the cutest thing in existence.
-Marinette is shocked to learn that Luffy is very silly, as well as seeing how crazy strong he is. His crew is super loyal it’s inspiring.
-Jess and Ussop trying to out do the other in trick shots.
-They have a fun time partying and afterward they go their seperate ways.
