the human body is like a smart phone. sometimes it can go through something really bad but still be perfectly fine after. other times it goes through nothing and shatters like a sheet of ice thrown on concrete. all this to say i have a pinched nerve for no reason and am In Agony.

Yet again another health update. After injuring my back and having a horrible time with an awful doctor yesterday who refused to do the x-rays my pt requested- I saw my orthopedic doctor at the walk in clinic today, described everything, and he did x-rays and felt along on my back- and actually listened to me unlike the other doctor.

Well, the good news is I didn’t break ot dislocate anything. The bad news is the arthritis that my pcp apparently saw in my back last year and didn’t tell me about has gotten worse. I have also been diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my lower back, and Sciatica.

So ✌️ new diagnosis i guess. He upped my naproxen so i can take it 2 times a day now and is sending new stuff over to physical therapy so we can work a bit on my back along with my hips and knees.

I also told him about how recently i subluxed my shoulder for the first time, and then my elbow for the first time. So the next time i see him(in a little less than 2 weeks) the appointment is set for those specifically and were going to do even more x-rays haha. I have had. So many x-rays this year.

Pinched nerve pain so fucking garish and sharp and hot and terrible that i have been suffering since monday, that i started sobbing uncontrollably and hyperventilating and telling fiance "WE ARE GOING TO THE ER." On the pain scale....twenty-fucking-five. Not even hyperbole. A fucking nuclear heat made of razor blades.

When the nurse took my blood pressure: 273/142!!!

How in the fuck was i not dead???

And after 4 hours of waiting after the assessment, all i got was a shot in the ass. And not even anything that'll work. An anti-inflammatory. Fucking hospitals. You go for care and get bullshit instead. 🙄

I pinched a nerve in my neck and the right side of my body is useless with a predicted 4-6 weeks of having to rest and avoiding things that cause pain. Like writing, drawing, painting, and gaming.

That is like all I do. I am already bored. The pain is too much to concentrate on reading so I'm watching random YouTube shit and I hate it. I never like having to stay still, even after my surgeries I was doing art, TV and the like has always just been background noise because that is how my ADHD and Autism works.
