Bloody Bug, Sabrina

Tangent time! I hate that canon gives absolutely no fucking idea of what to do with Sabrina. They literally fucking made her outfit just her normal fucking clothes, but dog themed. Oh! But can't forget the cute ass beret, right? Fuck canon!

You know, thinking about how you said that the themes for the pig's power connected to cognition, mental power, and even now seems to have ties to prudence and wisdom, that are all very mental related things which makes me wonder if the pig has potential to do unnerving, if kind of scary with its power. And it kind of tracks with some of the past powers you have given with powers relating to sleep/dreams, memories, and warping personalities. I feel like it could be pretty fitting for the pig to have this cute exterior but has the potential to somewhat scare, since well people often view pigs as just cute and stupid they are actually very intelligent and can be pretty dangerous when they reach certain sizes.

That actually was something I was aiming for: the dangers and cunning of Pig.

When researching Pig, what comes up most is the warrior aspect, specifically with boars.

Norse not only had bear warriors (berserkers), but there were also wolf and boar themed warriors too.

They were also tied to Artemis and I believe Ares too. Both of them being very combative gods, and the former I know can be cunning.

China I found they are more tied to prosperity and fortune, and that could be tied to have the wit and bravery to pave a way forward.

So given all I've found, yeah it felt like Pig should've been tied to intelligence and have some danger to it.

It's also kinda a slight against canon, as the pig kwami's official name means idiot in Chinese. I'm sure it's meant to be a joke off "pigs are dumb" but I'm not all that crazy about a kwami having that name, nor having it go to a very LGBT coded girl.

So yeah, Pig can instead have that trend of being cute but dangerous.

My pigella redesign. The main changes I made were to tone down the pink a bit and add a few more pig elements. I think the pig kwami is super cute so I added the brown patch to pigellas mask but I made it in the shape of a heart because it’s rose. I made her hair more curly and added little ties/bows that looked like pig ears.

The main criticism of the original design that I’ve seen the most of is that there is not much to suggest pig so I tried to add more pig elements mostly by adding the brown accents and switching to a more natural pink.

Anyway I’m redesigning carapace and I have no idea how to make him look less goofy, like the hood and goggle combo has to go but I’m having a hard time figuring out what to replace it with.

Miracubots: Miraculous Holders (Bots)

New day new post, and yup, if you read to the end of the last part you where probably looking forward to this XD

As this is an alternate version of season 4, the invasion where the Bot's finally reveal themselves, doesn't occur meaning the Bot's are having to hide longer with the family bluffing that the bots where upgraded with a 'Defence mode' to cover up when the bots work to help deal with an Akuma attack.

Though, things can't stay secret forever, especally not with a villain who target's negitive emotion, and some bots who are less able to express themselves freely.

The reveal to the town that the bots are alive, happens when Heatwave reaches a breaking point with Kade's glory hog ways (Which he'd been slipping back into just a bit, especally after he got to use a Miraculous) And he ends up becoming the first Bot Akumatized.

This has pretty much everyone reeling as the bots and the Burns family had started to assume the Bots being alien where immune to Akumatization. But the revelation gives Cody an idea.

If a bot can be Akumatized, surely they can wield a Miraculous as well. And with a little nudge from a Luck charm on which to pick. Boulder is chosen to use the Pig Miraculous becoming Porcine Punch. The name was off the top of his head and he likes it too much to change it.

Porcine Punch with help from Beetletron and Felidae is able to stop Glory Hog in his tracks and calm him down with the use of his Gift to be deakumatized.

Two things about the Bot's as Miraculous holders:

Their altmodes change when their transformed to the animal of their Miraculous with their root form adjusting to the new altmode.

They may use different names as heros, but there's no secret identities going on, everyones knows who's who in regards to the bots. As Cody points out when giving Boulder his Miraculous infront of his brothers, people will figure it out within five minutes so why both trying to hide it.

Sadly the next Bot picked to become a Miraculous holder happens because of another Bot getting Akumatized as well. This time Poor Chase, struggling silently after the public reveal and getting treated poorly by a few towns folk struggling with the transition, becomes the horrorfying Akuma Emperata.

IDW fans are now screaming at me for inflicting that on Chase.

Heatwave this time is the one entrusted with a Miraculous becoming the Hero Tigereye with the....Well Tiger Miraculous. He also get's let in on Chief being Ranger as Beetletron asks his father for help as well to get them past the army Emperata is creating.

He's not even the only Bot to find out a humans secret ahead of the mass reveal as Blades accidentally reveals Dani revealed she's Hornet to him when their both called on to deal with a replicating Akuma. Hornet to sting the clones and keep them still. And Kitsune the new Fox hero to use his illusions to control and confuse the clones.

Blades is BEYOND happy to finally have a grounded alt mode.

Last but not least of the Bots to get a Miraculous is Chase, we haven't fully settled on the events surrounding when he get's it. But Chase out of the four arguabley get's the most powerful as he's entrusted with the Snake Miraculous becoming Aposis at Sass's suggestion for his hero name,

And yes. People do make the 'Theres a Snake in my Boot!' refrence regarding him and Chief XD

Power visuals for the Emotion box.

Muse, Berserk, Inner Peace, Euphoria, and Vertigo aren't visible so I didn't draw them.

Anyway, I was thinking that Sentiment could also be done without the feather, like with Inner Peace, the holder could just touch the person. However, only an experienced user could do that. Probably the same with Telepathy, the symbol wouldn't be visible.

Also, how Insight looks depends on the person's (the target's) thoughts(obviously lol), they're not always... organized and readable..

After much anticipation, here is my Juleka redesign. Here she is!

So to make things clear first, in the reboot/rewrite Juleka doesn’t get the Tiger Miraculous. Instead she gets the Goat. She keeps her canon power of Clout too, which was unintentional.

But regardless, I’ve complained so much about Purple Tigress’s awful design that it was only right for me to offer my take on it. And it continues my noble quest to prevent all the girls in this show from wearing skin tight catsuits when that doesn’t suit their personality.

Juleka wears her tiger suit in a more sporty fashion, prioritizing movement, while also keeping her personal style.

And then I went HAM on Baaphomet. Since I complained so much about Purple Tigress being primarily in white (wtf), I think it’s only right to put her in mostly white but have that be the point. Less practical than her Purple Tigress look, but I really wanted Juleka’s unique style and voice shine through with this. Also you really can’t go wrong with a constellation corset. (Her name was gonna be Capricorn, but I got too attached to the anarchy of Baaphomet)

And finally Juleka herself! She doesn’t look terrible in canon, just really underwhelming and outdated. So I put her in a modern goth/sporty ensemble. Spoth, if you will.

Science Fiction Double Feature, I reworked my rose and Pigella too!

The pig’s power changed, now being dream and nightmare focused, so Pigella’s design needed to match it. And what better way to show a Dream/Nightmare pig than with some piggy pajamas? The slippers make an “oink” when she kicks things. The weapon is now a bedtime story book that she plucks peoples dreams and nightmares from. And can be yeeted as a range offensive weapon.

I changed her blue dress to green, since we were lacking green in the cast. And I feel like Rose has enough confidence to pull of bright green casually. 

I didn’t mention her mysterious illness in my original post, since I was prioritizing talking about the redesign, but I think it’s only right to properly confirm it. Cystic Fibrosis. A genetic disease, in which the lungs and digestive system are clogged with mucus.

I get what they tried to do in the show, keeping the illness vague so anyone can interpret it. But by trying to represent everyone, they represented no one. It’s not a big hush hush or a taboo subject, just go through with it.

So Rose carries her required medication with her in her stylish fanny pack, and is very diligent about taking them. She’s currently waiting to be put on a waiting list for a lung transplant, which will hopefully greatly improve her quality of life.

More Guardian!Claudia posting when I should really actually be asleep:

Claudia wears her miraculouses wrong. It started out as mistaking Daizzi's anklet for a bracelet and somehow turning into Porkbelly anyways. Daizzi, of course, is a little annoyed about this, but for Claudia? ...Oh, it sets a dangerous precedent.

Stompp's septum ring is at best worn on her tongue or as a belly button piercing. She puts her greasy fuckass hair into a bun and that's where she sticks Fluff's pocketwatch. Rarely, if ever, are any of her little magical jewelry pieces visible, because she layers so many clothes and jackets to hide them. Ziggy's hairclips get pinned to the waistband of her jeans, she wears Xuppu's circlet like the most uncomfortable choker in the world just to piss him off.

The only exceptions so far are Roaar's panjas bracelet, Orikko's claw ring, and Karra's knuckleduster/ring set, but either way she has all 10 fingers occupied by a Miraculous in some way, which is terrifying. It only makes her Tiger Punches hurt more (And yes, that's what she calls them. She uses none of the right phrases either. It works anyways.)

Of course, if there's anything her kwami bunch can compliment her on, it's that she's innovative. Even if it's not for the greater good (or really the greater evil either, more the greater entropy), her willpower to 'break the system' at the possible cost of her own life is commendable. Once she gets bit by the metaphorical kwami bug, she's obsessed with finding new synergies between using powers back to back. She can use Stompp's invulnerability + Orikko's wishmaking (for pyrokinesis) to become a Human Torch. She can scatter herself across time and space with the help of Mullo, Saass, and Fluff (which, inevitably, she tried to use to fuck with history, but then she has to stop herself from getting caught by Bunnix). Karra can 'shapeshift' Mullo's copies back to human size no matter how many copies are made, meaning Claudia can copy herself nearly thousands of times if she wants. And Barkk + Kaalki? PERFECT FOR THEFT.

She earns her title as "God's Mistake" with these kwamis. Until this superhero shit can finally kill her, she's going to be a nigh-unstoppable chaos machine.

I thought of the hair first and the rest later, so this time around I decided the difference between good/evil Lila would be color, but honestly the “Evil” color is so much better and not immediately villainous so I’d probably have her in the darker colors if she had the Pig.

Pig/Boar Possible Powers

With results in, my tweaks will have Zodiac Miraculous with 1 power, the Bagua with 2, and the Wu Xing with 3. As I have quite a few power ideas for what's canon, I'll be doing a series of polls to help pick a single power for the Zodiac.

Ringabell (aka expanded Gift): through the chime of the tambourine, brings forth memories of a target, explore/remind them who they are alongside them.

Pigment: alter a target's true colors, changing how they behave for a day, e.g.: Marinette's colors are pink, turn her red, she's going to be a lot more direct and bolder; Lila's vermillion, turn her blue, she doesn't lie as much but is a better manipulator.

Hognition: telekinesis, as seen with Kid Cosmic. Does take self control and capability to concentrate.

Piggy Bank: be the ultimate counter, anything sent your way is sent back with interest (added power).

Tickle Pink: make people feel happy and bubbly, changing their mood.

Hog Heaven: grant wings for flight.

Lullaby: those who hear the user's music falls asleep.
