pietro knew you had been hiding something. he had known you for three years and had been dating you for almost two. over the course of the months and weeks spent with the other he had grown accustomed to your silent cues. the silence that would consume you when tony's party carried on too late and you desperately wished to exit or when you performed poorly during training and steve berated you with tips. but mostly the silence that would linger around you when you were alone. not all the time, no, but there were times when pietro could feel and see the physical shift in your body language.
he never wanted to pry not as a friend or a boyfriend. pietro understood that every avenger has a past life, one that the others are unaware of. though he loved playing back the memories of his childhood and his parents, he too would shift into a silent shell of a person and he would want nothing more than to be left alone and not questioned. pietro loved the abilities he had but some days he wondered whether the extreme heat of his body or the slow-moving world around him actually made him sad. life was no longer normal, his body was no longer normal, nothing was normal.
this is exactly how you felt. the tragedies in your life were sometimes unbearable and if you could disappear you would but you had so much to be thankful for. if it wasn't for the accident you wouldn't be an avenger, you wouldn't have the friends you have, you wouldn't experience even half of what you've had now, and you wouldn't have pietro, the love of your life. at the end of the day you were alive and more than often, incredibly happy.
but there were those times you fell into silence over your newfound life, mainly the consequences of the accident. your memory still struggled, you were weak for a very long time, and when the weather got too cold you could feel the ache in your bones. you weren't like the rest of the avengers who possessed special abilities or were highly skilled in combat. three and a half years ago you were a normal person. you had a normal life, job, family, and friends, up until the accident. and every day the phantom pain reminds you of what was taken.
it was winter when you first met all the avengers. they all lived together and after you recovered from the accident, tony wanted you here, to live here. you protested the idea for a while claiming that tony's generosity was far too much. he had already saved you from the accident and offering a space to live and a job was incredulous, but after much debate you agreed. that first day you silently sat in the corner of the room while all the avengers had a meeting. you swayed back and forth in the rolling chair, taking in the information and occasionally stealing glances at a silver-haired man.
"and this is (y/n)!," tony exclaimed, "our newest friend here so please for the love of god be kind during the acclamation period. i'm already prematurely greying and i don't need anymore."
the meeting was over and one by one the avengers came to greet you, offering their names and welcomes and soon the silver-haired man approached you.
pietro stuck his hand out to shake yours. he found it odd that despite the room being almost swelteringly hot from the heater, you still had your gloves on.
"i'm pietro."
it was about three weeks later you found yourself sitting with pietro, clint, steve, and natasha. everyone was sitting on the couch talking about whatever topic you possibly could conjure up. there was a lull in conversation before clint spoke up.
"hey," he said turning towards you, "why do you have gloves on?"
it was as if clint never spoke and without missing a beat you stood up, looking down at pietro, "wanna help me finish building my desk?"
pietro hesitated a moment, eyes flickering over to clint, "of course."
pietro had come to learn not to question why you covered your hands in those first few months. any mention of you hiding them was never met with an answer. he was protective of you and he felt himself falling for you each day, and you the same. the two of you did a lot together, you cooked, clean, went out, watched movies, almost everything together and you loved it. it felt like home here and pietro felt like home.
it was a big dinner, the night you finally took your gloves off. there was no special reason why, to be frank, you just decided to no longer be embarrassed.
"c'mon kid we all got something weird about us. i play in a suit all day, cap runs around in tights, pietro is faster than the speed of light, and parker shoots webs... from his hands!" tony ranted on.
you sighed, "i know. i just feel weird on top of this because i am still new here."
"we all have been new," tony started, inspecting your hands one final time, "no one will judge you, kid, but take it at your own pace. you don't owe anyone nothing. well, maybe except me," he winked.
only two hours later you were all seated at the big table with everyone to eat. from tony, to pietro, to thor, to natasha, to sam, everyone was here. next to you was tony and rhodey, pietro across from you pulling funny faces while the food was served out. you fidgeted with your fingers in your lap trying to stall picking up the fork and knife. everyone had started eating and chatting amongst the group when you finally lifted your arms to the table and started cutting into the chicken.
pietro watched as you shifted in your seat, your forearms coming to rest on the white cloth and your fingers wrapping around the fork and knife. the first time he has ever seen your hands.
your metal hands.
after that night there were murmurs throughout the crew about the state of your hands. people were confused why someone who led a normal life ended up with metal hands, similar to bucky's arm. the word accident had floated through the air but you never commented on it.
winter had turned into spring that ended all too quickly and now it was the dead of summer. the day was slow and pietro was bored and craving movement. his head was hanging over the arm of the couch, his silver hair hung to the floor.
"want to get ice cream?" he asked.
"it's like you read my mind," you grinned swiping your wallet off the counter.
you and pietro wandered around town aimlessly before stopping at the ice cream shop. he admired the way you threw your head back in laughter and the way you covered your mouth when he said something outlandish. even though pietro's body ran warm he could feel the increasing heat spread throughout his cheeks each time you shot him a smile and his name rolled off your lips.
in an instant, he thought he ruined it all when he reached out and wrapped his fingers in yours. he felt your fingers twitching and the way you misstepped.
"i'm sorry," accent thick as he retracted his hand.
you smiled softly at him before gently grabbing his hand, "don't be."
it was that day over a hot fudge sundae that you told pietro what had happened. it was a horrible car accident early in the winter before you met the avengers. there were several cars and buses involved. not only did you lose your hands that day but your family. tony was also in this accident, his car had actually collided with yours, though his vehicle wasn't the one that caused your injuries. he had rushed to help you and immediately took on a parental role when he observed the condition of everyone else in the car. you were bruised and bloody with several fractured bones, but mainly, every bone in both your hands were shattered beyond repair. tony took you to his doctors where you all came to the difficult decision that your hands had to go, but tony offered you a solution. to replace the once skin and bones with metal.
pietro listened the entire time letting you go on and on to which you apologized for being boring. 'no dragă' he would whisper and you continued on with his thumb running over your knuckles. the gesture comforted you but the voice in the back of your head nagged that it was out of pity.
the months began to fly past faster than you could imagine. you and pietro were inseparable. anytime the members walked past the two of you they'd fake gag or pretend to cry. once wanda had muttered under her breath how she never thought pietro would actually date someone. you would only get shy over it and pietro found it amusing and would pinch at your cheeks. it was only when the two of you officially started dating when pietro would notice the different type of silence you'd fall into.
he would sometimes catch you sitting on the edge of your bed staring at your hands the features on your face contorted with disgust.
"what is the matter?" he questioned.
"oh nothing," you sighed with a fake smile, placing your hands beside you.
or the times pietro noticed the way you hesitated before touching him.
"am i that scary dragă?" pietro joked with a sickly smile.
your features would soften and the lines between your brows disappeared, "the most terrifying," you winked.
or the times pietro saw the way you gazed at other people's hands when they came into contact with pietro.
"doesn't his hair look good like this?" wanda asked you as she finished braiding her brother's hair. the two of them looking at you in the mirror.
you didn't respond right away. you were too distracted watching the way her fingers weaved their way through his silver hair and grazed his scalp while pulling hair into its pattern. with the most pitiful smile, you responded.
"amazing."
pietro knew that eventually, you would confide in him over the way you viewed your hands. he didn't want to overstep, that wasn't the relationship the two of you had. the late nights pietro spent shaking under the blankets from nightmares, you never asked him. you held him close to you and hummed a small tune to calm him down and you did that every night without fail. one day over breakfast he finally confided in you over the terrors that haunted his dreams.
what pietro didn't expect was that today on your second anniversary was the day you would finally scream your frustrations out. the two of you weren't doing anything special and nor did you want to. all the avengers insisted you at least leave home and do something for a little while. that's why you found yourselves lazily walking around a park, hand-in-hand, arms swinging and shoulders bumping. the sound of laughter echoed through the park and you swore the leaves shook. you were happy, beyond happy. pietro and you were madly in love and there wasn't one thing you could wish for, maybe.
suddenly the wind picked up and the dark clouds rolled above and unleashed raindrops that were nearly the size of baseballs.
"oh my god!" you squealed.
"it is so cold!" pietro laughed loudly.
you were squinting through the pouring rain, your hair and clothes plastered to your skin, pietro was dancing around in a circle with his tongue out in hopes of catching the water. pietro grabbed onto your forearms pulling you into him.
"you look so cute right now," he yelled over the thunderous rain.
"don't be silly! i look like a mess!" you giggled slightly swatting at his chest.
pietro leaned in and kissed you on the cheek. his smile growing wider as if his mouth was a plant and the rain was helping it grow. his fingers brushed the hair out of your face and kissed you once more on the forehead.
"there's so many droplets on your lashes!" you exclaimed. pietro watched your lips pull into a smile. the sun wasn't out but he could've been fooled by the way your eyes shined at him. he watched as you lifted your hand to brush the droplets off, and then suddenly, it all changed.
pietro watched as your smile dropped into parted lips of disgust and shame, your eyebrows pulled together in the middle, and rain was no longer the only thing running down your face. you faltered in your step backward and pietro reached out to steady you but you pulled back further. it was like you were a toy and your batteries had just run out you were so still.
"b-baby what is wrong?" the worried etched onto his face was almost painful.
"i'm jealous," you cried, your bottom lip shaking violently.
pietro shook his head, "my love what is going on? you are worrying me."
you lifted your hands in front of your face, your eyes trailed down every finger and across your palm to the back of your hand. the small metal panels almost mocking you as you could see your eyes reflect back at you. at this moment pietro started to piece together all the instances in the past.
"i can't feel you," you wallowed, "i can't feel your skin, pietro. my hands!" he watched as you stretched your arms out to show him your hands as if he'd never seen them before.
"i'm envious of everything that can feel you! the rain, your clothes, everyone else, but not me, i can't! do you know how badly i want to feel the texture of your hair or the tears you cry or-or the skin on your lips and i can't! i crave the feeling of you and i'll never get to know that. i want to feel the plastic of a pen or grass between my fingers or the calluses of training too hard and i'll never get that again. the phantom pain i have will never be as painful as never being able to hold you with my real hands."
as your cries grew louder the storm cleared up to let you have the stage. you stood in front of pietro as the shell of the person he would see those times you were alone silently observing your hands. even though he wasn't the one yelling, he felt as if his own vocal chords were being shredded, he could feel the chambers in his heart slowly start to shut down one by one, and the burn in his eyes was almost blinding.
he slowly stepped towards you cautious not to make you jerk backwards again. the tears in each of your eyes seemed to sync up and roll down together. pietro gently grabbed your hand, grateful that you let him, and held it to his cheek.
"this, my love, this is me. this is the me that only you will know and no one else. it is not the same as everyone else but different much like us," he said gently, his other hand gesturing between your bodies, "if i could do anything in the world, no matter the cost, to help with your hands i would and i am so sorry i cannot," pietro was now holding your face in his hands.
"but i want you to know i love you for everything that you are and i always will. no matter what the future has in store for us, in my heart, you will always be first. and- and i know there are other reasons why you dislike your hands but i never want to be the reason that you dislike something about yourself. maybe i can talk to mr. stark, yeah?" he pondered nodding his head rapidly, "maybe we can figure something out and give your hands an upgrade. maybe he knows someone?"
you sniffled, looking lovingly at pietro who was trying to think of any possibility even though you both had discussed in the past that there was nothing that could be done for your hands. that day tony saved you was the best opportunity you could get to help your hands and nothing in the world could beat it.
"i love you so much pietro, you are everything i could ask for in a boyfriend and more," you spoke, resting your face further into his hands.
pietro ran his hands across your shoulders and down your arms to hold onto your wrists. he brought your hand up to his face and placed a delicate kiss to your fingertips until all ten were loved. pietro pulled you into a hug, one palm resting flat against your spine and the other holding the back of your head. you leaned into his chest and let your ear listen to the thump of his heart. the two of you stood there motionless. minutes passed by and neither of you dared to move. to an unobservant eye, you two could've passed as a statue. two lovers forever memorialized in the dusk of the sky, the rain puddles collecting at your feet, and a love story forever admired over.

Pietro is the kind of guy that was often hard to read, the sort that hid his thoughts and feelings behind snarky expressions and remarks. Near enough impossible to get a sneak peek inside his brain.
Recently things have taken a little turn in your platonic relationship. Ever so slowly moving towards the more romantic side. The thing is, you were both stubborn when it came to sharing emotions. Neither of you wanted to be the first in case the feeling wasn't mutual, even though it was clear you were really into one another.
It was coming to the stage where it began to get slightly awkward, the part of the relationship where it became somewhat tiresome. You wanted Pietro to crack first, much like how he wanted you to.
So today, after a quiet day at the compound, you join the rest of the team in the communal area, blending in seamlessly with a bottle of beer as you sit between Steve and Clint. Turning to face Clint, you see him emersed in conversation with Natasha, so you twist back around, noticing Steve sitting quietly to himself. "How's you?" you sweetly ask, politely including him.
"I'm doing good, thank you," he smiles, crossing his leg towards you, getting more comfortable. " How are you?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm good, thanks. Just a long day," you reply, leaning a little closer so he could hear you over the loud private conversations that filled the room.
Glancing over to the kitchen, out of the corner of your eye, you see Pietro make his way over with a bottle in hand, talking with Wanda. You discreetly follow his movements as you continue your conversation with Steve, peering over every thirty seconds, trying not to make your gaze obvious.
"How did that house viewing go? That place in Brooklyn," you ask, speaking with genuine interest.
"I don't think it was the one for me. There'll be more, right?" Steve rhetorically asks with a wry smile, his beer bottle pressed under his chin.
Peeking over at Pietro, you see an expression you hadn't yet seen before, something bitter. He isn't usually the envious type, but when he notices you and Steve sitting so close together, with your legs crossed towards each other? That's when his mind starts to wander.
There was no reason for Pietro to be jealous as there's nothing going on between you and Steve. He's a generally sweet person to talk to, just all-around good company. But by the way, Pietro's eyes squint in focus told you he didn't quite understand that.
You watch him stealthily, secretly glancing over every time you take a sip from your bottle, waiting somewhat patiently for Pietro to say what was bothering him. He didn't have to speak in order for you to understand his displeasure, the envious expression on his face telling you multitudes.
"I'll be right back," Steve says, leaning closer at a friendly distance for you to hear him. "I've been summoned," he chuckles, excusing himself as he walks towards the kitchen.
You scratch the side of your head, discreetly looking over to Pietro to see if he's still staring. To your surprise, he was gone. Searching around, you spot the back of him as he's about to leave the room.
You place your beer on the coffee table and subtly chase after him. "Pietro," you whisper, making your way down the corridor. "Pietro," you say again, slightly louder.
"Milovat," the familiar voice of Pietro calls. Following the sound, you see him leaning with his back against the wall, arms folded. "Wondering when you were gonna show up," he smirks, his gaze following you as you rest against the opposite wall.
"You knew I'd follow you?"
"Hm," he grins, nodding cutely. "Kinda counting on it. Why are you being so hard to get, draga?"
"Me?" you reply, your tone sounding offended. "No, that's you,"
"Nuh-uh," he says, his gaze fixed on you. "What's with all these games?"
"I'm not playing games, P. I don't-- I don't like games," you say sincerely, eyes softening.
"With Steve back there," he points with his head, nodding backwards.
"We were just talking... he seemed sad," you speak sweetly, trying to reassure him.
"Really?" he asks, his eyes sweetly widen as he straightens from the wall. "You're not just saying that?" slowly making his way over to you.
"Yeah, I mean it. I don't like him in that way,"
"Then who do you like?" he asks suggestively, standing a foot away.
"Who do you like?" you tease, trying to coax him into answering first.
"You're so stubborn, draga," he grins as his hands reach for your face, cupping around your cheeks. He leans forward slightly, kissing the tip of your nose. Whispering. "You."

part 1 You laughed at him. “You really couldn't think of any other insult than ‘silly girl’?” He stared at you. If he wasn’t so obviously mad, you would’ve thought he was checking you out.
part 2 "What is it supposed to be? Its purpose, I mean." "Ultron will be a program to promote world peace"
part 3 “Goodbye printsessa.” And he left with his superhuman speed, leaving a blue and silver aura.
part 4 You realised his piercing blue eyes were staring straight at you, which frustrated you even more because if he wasn’t so stupid maybe you could’ve banged him.
part 5 "Incredible," you said. "You're a stalker." He smiled. His smile was very pretty, and you found it especially pretty when he wasn't making fun of you.

Hospital (Pietro Maximoff First Kiss Drabble)
Word Count: 1238
Notes: I'm in the middle of NaNoWriMo but I wanted a break from novel stuff. warning for medical stuff/injury
---
Pietro’s chest was rising and falling. That, coupled with the steady beeping of the heart monitor, told you that he was alive. That had been questionable for a little while. You hadn’t been there when he’d been shot, but from what Clint had told you, it had been bad.
He’d been bleeding out when they managed to get him back to the helicarrier, where they patched him as quickly as they could. It had been enough to keep him alive while the rest of you were trying to stop the world from ending. You hadn’t even known anything was wrong until the battle was over.
It was ridiculous how much the news that he might die had affected you. You’d known him for less than a week, and half of that time had been fighting against you. But there was something about him.
He had seemed so vibrant. So alive. Indestructible. The thought that his life could be snuffed out so quickly frightened you.
That must’ve been it.
When a superhero dies, it reminds all the rest of the superheroes that they are, in fact, mortal too. That was why you were so shaken when you saw the medics working over him, trying to desperately stop the blood that was draining from his body.
It wasn’t anything to do with the embarrassing double-take your heart had done the first time he’d smiled at you. It had nothing to do with the way he flirted and showboated. Or the way he stroked a lock of hair behind your ear while you had been preparing for the trip to Sokovia, like it was nothing.
Sure, he was beautiful. But you weren’t upset that he might die because he was beautiful. You weren’t so shallow or superficial. He was just too young and too powerful to die. That was it.
All of this to say that when you found out that he was recovering, your heart had skipped a beat. Your feet had carried you towards the medbay without your consent.
You just wanted to see that he was okay. He had been your teammate, however briefly. There was nothing more to it.
You were surprised to find that his sister wasn’t in his room when you got there. From what you’d heard, she’d barely left his side since the battle. She must’ve gone to get some sleep, or eat, or shower, or something.
A small, selfish part of you hoped that she wouldn’t come back too soon. But that was because you wanted to avoid awkward small talk. It had nothing to do with you wanting Pietro all to yourself. That would be ridiculous.
And now Pietro was alone. If he woke up, he’d be disoriented. He might feel abandoned. You didn’t want that. So you decided that you would stay until Wanda got back. You sat down in the chair beside the bed.
You were surprised by how little medical equipment he was hooked up to. The last time you’d seen him, he’d had an oxygen mask over his face, and all manner of things sticking out of him.
Now, his face was bare, and the cannula in his hand was the only visible evidence that he was hospitalised right now. That, and the heart monitor, which was still beeping steadily.
Asleep, he looked much younger than you realised. Aside from the short, neatly trimmed beard he was sporting, he could’ve almost been a child.
Before you realised what you were doing, you reached out and touched his hand, which was lying limply on the bed beside him. He stirred, and you pulled back like you’d been burnt.
He coughed, and opened his eyes. He stared up at the ceiling for a moment, unseeing, and then his eyes fell on you. You were loath to admit it, but when his face broke into a smile, your heart stuttered.
“Prinţesă,” he said, his voice weak. “You’re here.”
Heat rushed to your cheeks. He’d given you the nickname, which meant princess, when you first met, due to the tiara that was a part of your superhero costume. It wasn’t something you’d chosen yourself, and Pietro drawing attention to it embarrassed you.
He didn’t look like he was mocking you right now. He was smiling, but it wasn’t the cocky, arrogant one he’d worn on the night the Avengers attacked the Hydra compound. No, this was a much gentler smile.
“I came to check on you. To see if you were alright.” The words came out stilted. Why were you here?
“Well, I thank you for that. It’s always a good day when the first thing I see when I wake up is a beautiful woman.”
Your stomach lurched. You stood up so quickly that you almost knocked over your chair.
“Well, I’m glad you’re feeling better,” you said, trying to keep the hurt out of your tone. For a moment, you thought you might have been feeling a genuine connection, but he was a flirt. You were just another girl to him. “I should go.”
You headed for the door, but he called out, “Prinţesă, wait.” And when that didn’t work, he said your name. You stopped in your tracks. You turned to look at him. His smile was gone. “Please don’t go?”
Awkwardly, you walked back to your seat and sat down. You didn’t know what to say, but he was looking at you so earnestly that you couldn’t meet his eyes.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “If I misread the situation. I thought you…” He trailed off. “I just like spending time with you.”
“From what I hear, you like spending time with lots of women.”
He grimaced. “You’re more than just a pretty face, prinţesă. You’re smart. Funny. Beautiful, but you already know that I think you’re beautiful.” With every word, you could feel your face grow hotter until it was unbearable.
You met his eyes. “Are you serious? Or are you just playing games with me, Pietro?”
“I never play games when it comes to the heart. If I was casual about this, you would know. I don’t want to be casual.”
Like a magnetic pull, you found yourself shifting closer to him. He sat up a little, making space for you in his space. The beeping of the heart monitor, which had been so steady when you’d walked in, was starting to increase in speed. You couldn’t help but feel a little bit pleased with yourself.
When your faces were inches apart, you said, “I don’t want to be casual either.”
His lips were dry against yours. His good hand came up to caress your cheek, and you felt tingles go down your spine. You tried to deepen the kiss, but he pulled back, just a fraction.
“I haven’t brushed my teeth,” he said.
“I don’t care.” You leant back into his space and kissed him hard. You cupped his face with both hands and his hand fell to your waist.
Neither of you heard the door open.
“Oh my god.” The voice sounded more exasperated than surprised. You leapt back from Pietro, almost tripping over your chair, but you righted yourself just in time.
Wanda was standing in the door, a grocery bag in her hands. “I brought your snacks,” she said to Pietro, dumping them at the end of his bed. “I’ll be back later when you two are done.” Pietro snickered. Your cheeks burned.

Hi, I have a request.
So like Pietro and the reader are in a relationship and Pietro is really insecure about him being not able to give reader enough gifts and attention. (Reader is from a wealthy family)
He's scared that Reader could leave him for a wealthier person than him. Reader reassure Pietro that they won't leave him.
Yea, so angsty & fluff.
The reader can be gender neutral, I don't really care.
Thanks, I love how you write
Have a nice day.
anything from you - p.m.

"I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS," PIETRO'S mouth had fallen agape at the sight of the small box he opened, resting it on his lap. The light flashed off of the glittering silver of the watch inside, it's glass face perfectly clear, so well made that it looked like there was nothing there. "This is... this is very expensive gift."
"You have to accept it," you grinned, shrugging your shoulders. "I saw it and thought you'd like it."
"Yes, and I-- I do, but..." Pietro opened and closed his mouth like a fish. "I have never worn something so expensive before."
"Firsts for everything!" you giggled and gave him a bashful smile. He pursed his lips, melting at the sweetness of your face, and glanced back down at the watch. Your face sunk a bit at his hesitation, and you grabbed the bag that previously held the box. "I can return it, if you don't like it."
"No, I... I love it," Pietro grabbed ahold of your hand, smoothing his thumb over the top of your knuckles before bringing it to his lips and kissing it. "Multumesc, dragă."
---
“AHA!” Pietro mumbled to himself, pulling his hand out from behind the couch cushion of the couch in the Avengers Compound’s foyer, another quarter pinched between his fingers. He was lucky enough to live there and earn a decent wage, but he certainly did not have as much disposable income as say, Tony Stark, or even Y/N L/N.
“Pietro,” came Wanda’s voice from behind him, her tone slow as though she were confused. He turned his head to see her standing there, arms crossed over her chest, eyebrow raised. “What on earth are you doing?”
“Right now, I am counting,” he said, sitting down and dumping out his pocket, muttering the numbers under his breath. “I have a total of twenty-three dollars and...seventy-three cents. But then once I add the money from my wallet, I’ll have about...”
“What do you need this for?” Wanda sauntered over, sitting across from him and his measly pile of dented dollar bills and dirty coins. Pietro didn’t respond, still counting in his head.
“Sixty-five dollars and eighty-two cents,” Pietro nodded his head, muttering under his breath. “That might be enough...”
“Nice watch,” Wanda complimented. “From Y/N, yes?”
“Yeah,” Pietro muttered, rubbing the band of it with his thumb. “They are very generous.”
“I see.”
“I want to buy them something,” Pietro told his sister. “But... I cannot really afford something very expensive, you know? So maybe something for fifty dollars. Or maybe more, but I... I don’t know.”
“Why don’t you just make them something? Or take them some place nice?”
“I could,” Pietro scratched his chin, dropping his shoulders in exhaustion. “But they’re always buying me things, I feel like I need to return the favor.”
“You don’t owe them anything, though,” Wanda told him gently. “Just because they buy you all these things doesn’t mean you need to buy them things, it just means you need to gift them with other things. Experiences, homemade things... as long as there is love in it, no?”
“I am not wealthy like them,” Pietro sighed. “What if they think I am using them for their money? I need to show them that --”
“They do not think that,” Wanda gave him a gentle look. “They love you, trust me. I was with them when they picked out that watch for you.”
“Yeah, well,” Pietro didn’t have much to say in response to that. “They’d be better off with someone who can afford to take care of them.”
“Don’t talk like that,” Wanda shook her head. “You take care of them just fine.”
“Hmph,” Pietro only shrugged and began to leave the room. “Maybe. But they could do better.”
---
“Wanda?” you said, poking your head into the kitchen. Said woman stood over a steaming pot, stirring the contents with a long wooden spoon. Vision glided into the room, holding onto a container of paprika looking triumphant.
“Found it!” he said cheerfully. He turned his head and grinned at the sight of you. “Oh, hello, Y/N. Did you want some paprikash?”
“Maybe later, thanks Vision,” you smiled. “Have either of you seen Pietro?”
“Uhm, I’d assume he’d be in his room,” Wanda guessed.
“No, he’s not in there,” you frowned, sitting on one of the bar stools. “I’ve been looking around for him all day. I think he’s avoiding me.”
You knew Wanda and Vision shared a glance, but you were too busy staring down at the ring on your finger to say anything. Pietro had gotten it for you in the early stages of your relationship; you hadn’t the slightest clue where it was from or if the gems were real, but it was beautiful and fit like a glove. That was all that mattered, anyways. You twisted it around on your finger, frowning.
“Did I upset him?” you asked Wanda. “Has he said anything to you?”
Wanda gave a quick, almost unnoticeable glance at Vision. “Erm... he’s not upset at you, no.”
“What is it, then?” you pressed. There was a pregnant pause of silence.
“Look, I think you should talk to him,” Wanda trailed off, her brows slowly raising as she glanced behind you. Vision did nothing, however he was not slick about the way his eyes widened and he mouthed, “Go!”
You whipped your head around, and before you set eyes on Pietro, the blur of his red sweatshirt caught your eye and you knew he had run off. You sighed, running a hand across your scalp.
“Sorry,” Vision apologized to you, bowing his head. “It’s... it’s your business, you and him.”
“Yes, I know,” you sighed again. “Thanks, I guess.”
“We’ll save some paprikash for you!” Wanda called out to you as you disappeared down the hallway. The lights of Pietro’s room were on, and you could hear the soft sound of a record playing from outside the door. It was Billy Joel’s The Stranger, one of his favorite American records; you had bought it for him, along with Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John.
With “Vienna” playing from the old record player, you creaked open the door. Pietro was at his desk, hunched over a piece of paper with a ballpoint pen in his hand. He was humming along softly under his breath, scribbling away and not noticing you. You walked up behind him and put a hand on his arm, bending over to place your chin on his shoulder. He jumped.
“You scared me,” he muttered, hastily folding up the paper and shoving it into a drawer. “Did you knock?”
“No, sorry,” you drew your face away from him, glancing at where he hid the paper. “Did you want me to leave?”
“I--” he hesitated. “No, I don’t.”
“Okay,” you rocked on your toes for a second before crossing the room to sit on the edge of the bed. “You okay? Whatcha doing?”
“Just drawing,” he sighed, putting the pen down and leaning back in his chair. “Bored, I guess.”
“Haven’t seen you all day,” you continued.
“Been tired,” he lied through his teeth.
“Yeah, okay,” you scoffed. “You slept for like ten hours.”
Pietro’s lips quirked up. “Yeah, true.”
“What’s going on?” you asked bluntly, patting the empty space on the bed beside you. Pietro eyed it for a second, as though hesitating, before getting up and taking a seat beside you, his knees resting against yours, shoulders pressed against one another. You lifted your hand, running it through his hair. “What’s goin’ on in that brain of yours?”
“Just...” Pietro paused. “Don’t you ever... aren’t you ever upset that I can’t... that I can’t really do stuff for you?”
You furrowed your brows, unsure what he meant.
“Like this watch,” Pietro ran his thumb over the face of the shiny gold watch on his wrist, the band glinting under the soft lights of his bedroom. “It’s... it’s great. I love it. But I can’t buy you stuff like this. I can’t... I don’t have...”
“That never upsets me,” you told him honestly. “I don’t even think about that kind of stuff.”
“You could have a guy who can buy you things,” Pietro went on. “A real rich one, you know, take you shopping and whatnot.”
“I can take myself shopping,” you joked, bumping your shoulder with his. He gave a small smile. “And I don’t need that, nor do I want that. I want you, and whatever you come with is perfect.”
“Are you sure?” Pietro scrunched up his face, his pale eyes glazed over. You ran your hand through the icy tips of his hair, and he leaned into your touch like a puppy being scratched behind the ear. “Sometimes I worry that you’ll leave.”
“Leave?”
“For someone with more money,” Pietro mumbled.
“I’m not going anywhere,” you kissed his cheek. “I don’t want to leave, and I’m not going to anytime soon.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes,” you kissed his temple. “I am.”
Pietro said nothing, his brows furrowed and his nose slightly scrunched. You put your hand under his chin, turning his face so the two of you were eye to eye.
"You are perfectly perfect, Piet,” you told him firmly. You felt his face turn hot underneath your hand. “I’ve never wished for anything more or less from you. It’s like I’m Goldilocks and you’re the porridge that’s just right."
“Mm,” was all he said for a moment, leaning into you. After a pregnant pause of silence, he said, “I don’t know what that means.”
“Yeah, I figured,” you wrapped your arms around him, hugging his side. He pressed into you, hugging you back, the warmth from his arms engulfing you. “My next gift for you will be an American nursery rhyme book. How’s that?”
He let out a laugh, holding you tighter. “Anything from you is perfect.”

Listen to the sound of your voice💌
Pairing: Pietro Maximoff x fem!shapeshifter!reader
Fluff
Summary: Pietro found himself enjoying your voice the most, especially on Valentine‘s Day.
Warning: just a bunch of fluff, reader opens up about an insecurity but it‘s all good in the end, language (swearing)
A/N: I was having a Scream marathon while writing this and it was really confusing at times to write fluff and watch a splatter movie next to it. By the way, I have no idea how to properly celebrate Valentine‘s Day so bear with me in this one.
Tumblr media
February 14 was the most wonderful day for some people. The sun was shining just a small tad brighter on the day of love, waves were more peaceful and the sky was clearer. Flowers were wilting less fast and were gifted from one person to another. Little gifts formed in hearts are ready to be bought from every supermarket and expensive jewelry was promoted on every website known to men. Pietro never enjoyed Valentine‘s Day since the incident in Sokovia. Sure, he had a date sometimes but nothing was ever coming out of it. He‘s always remembered of his parents on Valentine‘s Day, as he was younger he always got to see his parents relishing their love. His father always brought his mother flowers and his mother always made him his favourite food. They didn‘t have much money growing up so the presents were small but Pietro had seen that they meant the world for each other.
Now years later Pietro was a part of the Avengers and Valentine‘s Day never quite lost its touch. Tony Stark was always someone to buy presents to show his love and Pietro had seen him more than once on Armor‘s day giving Pepper an expensive bunch of flowers, a bracelet, watch or anything else. Vision and his sister Wanda had decided to take the whole day for themselves and Pietro didn‘t want to know what exactly they were doing. Bucky and Steve went out to enjoy a day as a couple, something they couldn‘t do back in their days. Bruce and Natasha didn‘t plan something bad, as far as Pietro knew, but he knew that they had a table booked at an expensive restaurant. Sam was off on a date with a girl he met a few weeks ago and Thor wasn‘t on earth. It left Pietro and you alone on love‘s day at the compound and Pietro thought that that was just perfect.
To be honest with himself, Pietro has never been truly in love with someone. Sure, he had a few dates here and there and there were some flings he had but he was never in love. The girls he dated were never girls where he thought they were the one and it may not seem like it but Pietro truly believed that every person on this planet, no matter how cruel, has a person that is made for them. The people just have to find their own way of making it work.
„So, it seems that it‘s just the two of us, uh?“ Your voice cut through Pietro‘s trail of thoughts. He looked at you and Pietro could swear you had a small glint of disappointment on your face. „You got no date today?“
Pietro smiled slightly at her and bowed his head a bit in mock offense, „You act like I got a date everyday, dragon.“ You smiled at the blonde man in front of you, the nickname for you falling effortlessly from his lips, „I changed into a dragon for you once on your birthday, will you ever let it go?“
Pietro chuckled at your words as he shook his head, „Never. But anyway, why are you not out? Everyone else is, I thought I got the compound for me.“ The smile on your face didn‘t falter for a second but Pietro noticed the slight fall of your shoulders, „Valentine‘s Day isn‘t something for me, y‘know? I never really go on dates much anyway, I‘ve got an important job to do.“ Your explanation didn‘t really make sense for him, sure being an Avenger was important but going on dates was still possible.
„Well then it seems like it‘s us then, eh? Seems like we‘re going out on a date then?“ Pietro knew that this was a big shot and he didn‘t know if you would agree but damn, he wanted you to agree so badly. Despite his serial dating, his interest in you never once reduced. You had this big impact on him that you didn‘t even notice. Pietro could write a novel about the many times the team noticed Pietro being smitten with you and you being oblivious. Steve liked to tease him about it, he always said that Bucky was the same back in the day.
„I guess it means that we‘re going out then, what‘s your plan then?“ Pietro laughed slightly before shrugging, „Well, how about we go to that café nearby and we get the most delicious strawberry cake there is? I know that that‘s your favourite and that the barista there keeps a piece for you.“ The smile on your face couldn‘t vanish if someone tried removing it from you.
„No flowers? Oh, Pietro, I thought you were at least a gentleman. You need to step up your game.“ Your teasing made him chuckle as he leaned forward to take your hand. „You just wait, Dragon, I‘m gonna give you the best Valentine‘s Day ever, I promise.“
Pietro was right, the barista did leave a piece of strawberry chocolate cake for you. „How do you know that that‘s my favourite?“ Pietro gave a nonchalant shrug, his eyes never leaving the street before them.
„You know, just hearing it here and there.“ It wasn‘t a complete lie, he did hear it from his sister. But Pietro also knew that the strawberry chocolate cake from that üparticular café was your favourite because Pietro was infuriated with you. He may have never been in love but he knew he felt something for you that he didn‘t feel with anyone else. He thought about you all day long, he woke up with the motivation of hearing your voice, when he was on missions he got home for you and every time he sped to a market to get something it was for you and only you.
And you? Well, you never truly noticed. Of course you knew that you and Pietro were more than friends. Your constant flirting was definitely something that wasn‘t unintentional from both your sides but you never noticed that Pietro did most things for you. In your eyes, Pietro did these things for the rest of the team as well. He noticed the small details and things about you as much as he did the rest of the team.
„You may be the only person I can actually stand seeing on Valentine‘s Day.“ Pietro laughed slightly before shaking his head in disbelief.
„Seriously though, how come you don‘t have a date today?“ Your smile was slipping for a second and Pietro was afraid he had ruined the mood but it came back as fast as it slipped, „I do have a date today, we‘re out right now, aren‘t we?“ Your voice was playful but Pietro could still hear the sadness that lingered in it. The look on his face told you that he didn‘t believe you so with a sigh you went on. „It‘s not that easy to find a date as me, you know? I mean, it never gets past the first date. Most of the guys I go out with are intimidated because of my abilities or my status as an Avenger or they are just going out with me in the first place because I‘m an Avenger. They don‘t really care about getting to know me.“
Pietro‘s shoulders slouched slightly and he had an irritated look on his face. „Well, then I‘ll make sure that you have the best Valentine‘s Day today! Come on, there is a flower shop nearby, we‘re getting your favourite flowers.“ You chuckled at his enthusiasm but took his hand nonetheless, „How do you know what my favourite flowers are?“ Pietro‘S teasing smile was addictive and you had to smile as well, „I know a lot of things about you that you have no idea about.“
The day with Pietro turned out to be really great. The two of you did all the things a couple would do, you got ice cream and shared it with one spoon, you went out to eat at a restaurant and you bought each other a present. You got each other matching jewelry, a necklace with your initial for him and a bracelet with his for you. You were back at the compound now, a movie playing in the background as you were talking about the most obscene nonsense. It was quiet as you two just looked into each other’s eyes, both wanting to make the next move but also not wanting to be the one doing it.
„I don‘t understand how they don‘t want to get to know you.“ Pietro‘s statement caught you off guard as you looked at him with confusion written in your face. „I mean, you‘re so much fun and you‘re so easy to talk to and, God, you‘re so pretty when youre getting mad about something. I‘d listen to you talk about anything anytime if you asked me to.“
„What do you mean?“ Pietro chuckled at the tone in your voce, just like a confused puppy. „You said they never truly listen to you but I don‘t know why, I can listen to you talk the whole day.“ Pietro could feel your nervous breath on his skin, a slight blush forming on his cheeks. „Have you ever been in love?“ Your question caught him off guard but he answered anyway, „Not that I know of, no. You?“
You smiled at him, „I don‘t think so but I‘d like to find out what it feels like, will you- eh, try to find it out with me?“ Your voice was trembling slightly and Pietro wanted nothing more than to take all your nerves away from you. He answered your question by leaning in and kissing you, your lips moving in sync and Pietro could swear that there were butterflies in his stomach. „Does that answer your question?“ You had a teasing smile on your face as you replied, „I don‘t know, you might have to do it again, just to be sure.“
Pietro smirked and that was how you spent the rest of your first but certainly not last Valentine‘s Day together. Kissing, cuddling and even cooking together while scaring the Avengers as soon as they got home.

Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, couldn't help but feel their heart race as they planned a special surprise date for their crush, Y/N. They were determined to show them a night they'd never forget. With a grin on their face, Pietro appeared in front of Y/N's door, tapping it twice before they opened it, surprised to find the speedster standing there, dressed in their casual yet dashing attire.
"Hey there, Y/N," Pietro greeted with a playful wink. "I've got some speedy plans for tonight. Ready to go?"
Y/N chuckled, feeling their cheeks heat up slightly. "Sure, Pietro. Lead the way."
As Pietro took Y/N's hand, they felt an electric thrill run up their arm. The pair zipped through the city, the world around them a blur as Pietro whisked them off to a secluded spot with a breathtaking view.
"I thought we could start the evening with a view as stunning as you are," Pietro said, their gaze locked on Y/N's eyes.
The night sky sparkled above, and Y/N couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in their chest. Pietro had planned everything perfectly. They settled down, sharing a blanket, and Pietro pulled out a small picnic basket filled with Y/N's favorite snacks.
"Y/N, I've got a cheesy pickup line for you," Pietro said with a playful grin, holding up a strawberry. "Are you a fruit? Because you're berry charming!"
Y/N burst into laughter, shaking their head at the silliness. "You're impossible, Pietro."
"But you love it," they teased, leaning in for a gentle kiss. The spark between them intensified as they lost themselves in the moment.
The night continued with laughter, conversations, and stolen kisses. Pietro's charm and playful nature had Y/N smitten. But as the evening wore on, the speedster had one more surprise in store.
They found themselves standing at the entrance of a cozy, dimly lit cafe. Pietro led Y/N inside, where they were greeted with warm smiles and soft jazz music playing in the background. It was a romantic setting, and Y/N couldn't help but feel their heart swell with affection.
As the night grew darker and the cafe emptied, Pietro leaned in close to Y/N. "You know, Y/N, they say that time flies when you're having fun. But I can slow it down if you want. Just for you."
Y/N blushed at the double meaning in Pietro's words. "Pietro, you're incorrigible."
"I prefer irresistible," they said with a smirk, pulling Y/N into a slow dance. Their bodies swayed together, and Pietro held them close as if they were the only two people in the world.
The night continued with more sweet moments, and Pietro walked Y/N back to their doorstep. They stood there, hands intertwined, neither wanting the night to end.
"You know," Pietro began, a mischievous glint in their eyes, "I'd like to invite you in for a 'speedy' nightcap. What do you say?"
Y/N chuckled, knowing exactly what Pietro meant. "Well, how can I say no to that, Pietro?"
As they entered Y/N's apartment, the door closed behind them, sealing their fate for a night of passion, affection, and love, guided by the playful and charming Quicksilver.

a/n: Hi!! So this is the first time I wrote for Pietro, but this idea just came into my mind and I had to work on it. some things might not make logical sense but please go with it 👀 I really wanted to focus on how the loss of their parents affected the Maximoffs and how they wanted justice against the wrongs. Also I’m very upset we just got to see so little of Pietro because we deserved MORE!! Anyway, I’m in my Pietro phase now (and Bucky) so expect more stories with them. This might be not very good but I really got emotionally invested in the story. Hope you all like it.COMMENTS AND REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED.

The Maximoff Twins lost everything, even most of their own identity. After being experimented on by Strucker, they fought for their freedom and succeeded. Now they had only one mission, to get justice against the Avengers, especially Tony Stark.
It would not be easy, they knew that. Even with Wanda’s mind controlling powers, getting close to the Avengers won’t be that easy. But what if they could reach someone very close to the team, especially close to Tony Stark.
They did their research and that’s how they came to know about you, Stark’s adopted daughter. You were always very close to your father, sure he was a complicated man but he always made you his priority.
The New York Attack had left a huge impact on your father, his team and even you. The world had changed. Tony was always over protective of you, and after the attack he preferred to have every little update about you, regarding your safety.
The twins had divided their different targets, and you were Pietro’s. Wanda felt she could use her powers on you but Pietro felt you are not that important and she didn’t need to get involved, she could take care of bigger targets, maybe Banner. And you? Pietro was more than enough for you.
The Maximoff twins knew you were adopted so technically it wasn’t your fault that Tony Stark was so horrible, but you lived a life of luxury, all because of Tony and his money, so yes, you were somewhat at fault, and it wouldn’t even matter in the long run any way.
That is what Pietro reminded himself when he spotted you in your favourite coffee shop. You didn’t have a lot in your everyday schedule so it wasn’t very difficult to track you. Plus he was fast.
You ordered your favourite drink and were about to come out of the coffee shop when felt like you were pushed but you couldn’t really see anyone, you were about to fall down when a stranger caught you.
“Are you alright, miss?“ He had an Eastern European accent, silver blonde hair, and such pretty eyes. Oh you shouldn’t stare at a stranger but how could you not?
“Yeah, yeah I’m okay thank you.” You stood up properly but your drink was spilled. A frown came across your face.
“Can I buy you another?” The man offered.
“Oh no, please. It wasn’t your fault. Just not a good day I guess.”
“Well then how about I make it better? Let me buy you another, I insist.” You probably shouldn’t have accepted. But you did.
Pietro charmed you off your feet, literally. The two of you sat down in the coffee shop and started talking.
“Your accent it’s-“
“It’s Russian” Pietro clarified. You smiled. For such a horrible person’s daughter, you looked quite sweet. Maybe because you were adopted. Still, Pietro thought living the luxurious life you have, you would be some snob. You were sweet.
“Thank you again, you really didn’t have to buy me another drink but I appreciate it.”
“Of course, hope I could make your day better. Wouldn’t be fair if a sweet girl like you doesn’t get to enjoy her day.” Your cheeks heated up and you looked down to hide your flustered expressions. It would be easier than Pietro thought to win your trust.
If they couldn’t attack Tony from the front, they would break him and his team from the inside. It was very simple, Pietro would create problems for you and your dad, and hit Tony hard on his sensitive spot. Stark should get a taste of his own medicine right? See how it feels to lose everything?
“I didn’t get your name by the way, I’m Pietro.” Maybe giving out his name was risky, but nobody knew much about them. After they escaped Strucker’s lab, the twins made sure to erase all data from their files.
You gave Pietro your first name. Somehow your last name often changed people’s perception about you, when the connected the dots about who you actually were.
And when Pietro asked for your number, you hesitated but something in you told him to trust him, and you did.
Pietro texted you. Just a hi at first, but soon it developed in a full conversation. You learnt that he was new in the city, he came from Russia and was currently looking for a job. You thought about suggesting Stark industries but no it was too soon. So you just wished him luck.
He didn’t waste much time to ask you out on a date. He was fast, you thought. You didn’t know what to do, the logical part of you was hesitant, you barely knew him, but then again, that’s what dates are for right? to get to know people, that’s what your heart told you. So you went with that.
“Where are you going?” Your father’s voice pulled you from your thoughts. You lived alone in your own apartment but he visited from time to time to check in, and he couldn’t have had a worse timing.
“Just going out, probably will go to a book shop, get some coffee.”
“Alone?”
“Yes Dad!” You didn’t like lying to your father but, if he got to know about Pietro he would ask too many questions, you wanted to keep things simple. Besides the date might not even be good, so why involve your father in such an early stage?
“Alright, take a car.”
“No I wanna walk.”
“Sweetheart…” He used his fatherly voice.
“Dad…” You mimicked his tone.
“Ugh, fine but be careful okay? and call me-“
“I know I know. Alright then, see you later.” You gave him a hug and went out.
You both met at Central Park, it was a beautiful sunny day.
“You look beautiful.” You smiled.
“Thank you, so do you.”
“I’m so happy you said yes to the date.”
The two of you walked around the park. You asked him about his life in Russia, and he seemed sad.
“Well my parents they- they passed away, and I felt like my life there made no sense any more, so I decided to come here.”
“Oh I’m so sorry to hear about that.” Must have been really hard on him. Pietro looked at you with an expression you couldn’t exactly read.
“Well, that’s why my focus is to now get a job and do something good.”
“That’s great. I’m sure it will all work out.” You smiled. You had such a genuine smile, Pietro thought to himself. You told him about your father and who he was. Pietro maintained a neutral expression at his mention.
The rest of the date went pretty well, you got some food and then walked more, you sat down on a bench to watch the sunset.
“There’s something about you, I can’t help but admire you.” Pietro told you. “From the first moment we met, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.” You felt all warm and flustered listening to his words. “Maybe coming to New York was meant to be, just like meeting you was.”
He gently took your hands in his.
“I had a great time, hope you did too?” Pietro asked.
“I did. It was really good.”
“Would you like to do it some time again?”
“I’d love to.”
After the date, all smiley and giddy you went back home. There was a missed call from your father but you opted to text him back a reply, he might understand the excitement in your voice so it was better to avoid it.
The next few days, you both kept texting about this and that. Few days later he mentioned about getting a job interview.
You: That’s great, good luck
Pietro: Thank you, beautiful ❤️
The heart emoji made your heart flutter a bit.
You really hoped it worked out for Pietro. Later that day, you got another text from him.
Pietro: So, I don’t think I’m going to get this job. The interview didn’t go well
You: I’m sorry Pietro, I’m sure something will turn up soon.
He doesn’t reply, so you text him again.
You: I was thinking, would you like to meet? We can get ice cream?
Pietro: I’d really like that.
You both meet up to get some ice cream, you give him a treat to cheer him up. Mentioning Stark Industries was something you were still hesitant about, but you didn’t like seeing Pietro sad.
“You can try for Stark industries, I can talk to my dad-“
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“But-“
“I appreciate it, but I still have some other interviews lined up. Let’s see what happens.”
You took his hand in yours. Maybe this was a slow plan but it was already working. Pietro could feel it. He tried to ignore how soft your hands felt.
Later he walked you back to your apartment. You thanked him, but before you could go in, Pietro held your waist softly and kissed you.
It had to be done, Pietro told himself, to make sure you got attached to him.
“I um- I’ll see you later then?” You asked him, still giddy about the kiss. “Good luck with your interviews.” You smiled so sweetly at him. “I- I don’t know if this is the right time to say it but, I really like spending time with you. And.. I really like you”
“The feeling is mutual, дорогой” Pietro didn’t realise the nick name would sleep up so easily from his mouth.
“What does that mean?”
“It means- darling” Pietro admitted with a slight blush.
You gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before going inside.
The plan is working. The plan is working. Pietro kept repeating it to himself.
“What happened?” Wanda asked immediately when Pietro returned.
“It’s all going accordingly.” Pietro avoided eye contact, not that it mattered with Wanda, she could see through him.
“You kissed her?”
“Don’t read my thoughts. And yes I did, it had to be done. Now I know she is totally attached to me. She even mentioned Stark Industries today, I think soon I can get to turn on her father if needed.”
“I hope you’re not the one getting attached” Wanda remarked. Pietro scoffed.
“I may not be as talented as you sister but I know what I’m doing, I’ll hurt Stark where it hurts. His precious daughter is now wrapped around my finger.”
Wanda decided to not engage on the topic and let Pietro do his work.
Your father called you up to meet him. You were nervous, you had been avoiding talking to him for a few weeks, just texting.
“What is going on with you?” Tony asked. You tried to be oblivious.
“What do you mean?”
“You’ve been avoiding me.”
“I’m not. I was just busy.”
“With what? or with whom should I say?”
“Wha-“
“Look, just be careful, how many times-“
“Hold on a second, are tracking me or something?”
“No I haven’t… yet”
“Are you serious right now? Dad I can take care of myself. I’m not answerable to you for every little thing am I.”
“Look, I don’t want to fight, I trust you, I just don’t trust the world. You’re too nice, for your own good.”
“I’m done with this conversation. See you later, father.”
Tony sighed. You were clearly hiding something, avoiding his questions, you didn’t usually get angry with him.
You were upset, to think Tony literally said he might track your movements if needed. You realised he is concerned about your safety but what about your private life? And to think you actually considered telling him about Pietro. But no, you won’t let you father’s opinions decide how to feel about Pietro, so you decided you weren’t gonna say anything about that.
You: Can you come to my apartment? I- I’m not feeling good.
Pietro: What’s wrong?
You: I don’t want to talk about it via text, Could you please come? Unless you’re busy… I get it.
Pietro: I’m not busy, I’ll come soon.❤️
When Pietro arrived you hugged him. You didn’t know why but his presence always calmed you so much, made you feel everything is gonna be okay. You didn’t even know him that well but you trusted him.
“You want to talk about it now?”
“It’s about my father.” Wheels started turning in his head, this was his chance.
You both sat down on the sofa. Pietro held your hand.
“He- he is always trying to control my life. I know when I say it like that it seems he is a controlling person, I know he is not, he just wants me to be safe. But I can make my own decisions right?”
“Of course you can дорогой”
“I don’t like fighting with him but-“
“I understand.”
“Why are you so nice to me Pietro?” The question took him aback for a second, did you doubt him? No no you didn’t, you were just too nice.
“Because you deserve it, you are so nice so sweet. And because I really like you.” You smile back but Pietro’s expression changed slightly.
“But now- hearing about your father, I’m afraid he might not approve of us being together. You know I’m not rich or anything.”
“That doesn’t matter to me.”
“Well I’m sure it will matter to him. He wants the best for you-“
“I just want you.” You told him earnestly. “And if my dad can’t understand that, then…”
“Then?” Pietro almost had you.
“I- I don’t want to think about that now.. please.”
“It’s okay. I’m really happy to here you care about me so much.”
“I do, and I want you to be happy. I see how much you’re struggling with your current situation. Plus I can’t even imagine what you went through after losing your family.” You hugged Pietro tightly. No- no this wasn’t supposed to happen.
“I’m really so sorry. You are so nice Pietro, I’m sorry life is being unfair to you. I don’t know if it means much but I’m here for you, I promise. You always make me smile and I want to do the same.”
It felt like Pietro’s body was working on its own. You felt so warm. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer. In that moment, he forgot about his rage and the need for revenge, he just let himself feel the loss, and how much it truly affected him.
“I just, I want them to be proud of me, you know?“ Pietro murmured against your neck and you softly pulled away, touching his face softly with your hand.
“Of course they are proud of you Pietro, you’re working so hard to get a better life. I know they are proud of you. And so am I.”
Next what happened wasn’t something you were expecting, Pietro pulled closer with one swift motion, capturing your lips and practically taking your breath away. Things got heated pretty quickly. You both ended up on your bed. No words were exchanged, only looks.
Pietro kissed your neck, as if learning your body. You softly tugged his hair. Pietro simply couldn’t stop himself. He became addicted to your touch, and how you felt against him.
Before things could go any further your phone started buzzing with notifications. And Pietro’s phone rang up as well. It brought him back to reality.
“Um- I should get that.” It was Wanda, he excused himself. You nodded and decided to check your phone. You had received several messages from the Avengers, you quickly opened Clint’s text, which was latest.
Clint: Get to the tower ASAP. There has been a Hulk attack. It’s out of control. Tony and Nat are at the scene. It’s a messy situation. Get here now.
How could it happen? Bruce was much bette at controlling his rage now. You went out to look for Pietro.
On the other hand, Pietro heard from Wanda that she had succeeded to reach Banner.
“The world will now see who the Avengers truly are, as they destroy everything.” Wanda told him over the phone. Too much was going on in Pietro’s mind. He could imagine the destruction, and somehow his rage was subdued by his other emotional instincts.
“Wanda- did we do the right thing?”
“What do you mean? This was the plan. To show the world who the Avengers truly are. To let them destroy each other.”
“But we caused the destruction. Does that- does that make us the same as them?” There was silence at the other end. You came out and Pietro hung up. Quickly shooting Wanda a text that he would talk later.
“I don’t know if you have heard but- there has been a Hulk Attack. I have to go, my dad- I have to go.” Pietro stood there silently as watched you. You were worried.
“You can come with me Pietro. You’ll be safe.”
“I can’t”
“But-“
“I really can’t. I have to go, and seems like you do too. I’ll talk to you later.” And he left, instantly, too quickly you thought, or did you just imagine it?
When you arrived at the Avengers tower, Tony and Nat had already returned, and Bruce was back as himself again.
“I didn’t know how it happened- but the world saw the real Hulk again.” Bruce told everyone. He was shaken.
“No buddy, I’m telling you, I saw your eyes. It was all different. They were red.” Tony argued.
“That’s right Bruce, I’ve become quite good with the lullaby, but nothing worked till Tony knocked you out. Something must have happened.”
“Mind Control.” Clint spoke up. “Happened with me, so I know it.”
“You guys would wanna see this” Agent hill comes in. “The attack left the media all over you guys and I’ve been trying to find out Hydra’s possible involvement but something else came up. Remember that Strucker was killed some time ago? And almost nothing was found about it? Well data has come up regarding the involvement of two of Strucker’s own experiments.”
Hill went on about more details. She said she tried to track down more information about the two.
“The two enhanced have been identified as Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins, originating from Sokovia. We don’t know their agenda but they have been seen in the city. The girl has mind controlling powers.” Hearing the name Pietro, made you look up. It was just a common name right?
“Find out about their whereabouts.” Steve told Hill. Just on cue the alarms in the building started going off, Tony’s A.I. informed there had been a breach.
Pietro and Wanda entered the Avengers tower, they realised their identity might be out any moment, so it was better to take matters in their hand. It was now or never. They had to come in light. Pietro knew your were gonna be there. But he had a much bigger goal than thinking about you.
“You stay here, Clint is gonna be with you. We-“
Before Tony could finish, Wanda and Pietro came directly in front. Everyone took their weapons out. Steve got his Shield and Tony called for his suit.
“Easy there, we are unarmed, or is that how you Avengers go on with it? Kill unarmed people?” Wanda asked.
“What is it that you want?”
“Justice” Pietro told with conviction.
You couldn’t believe what was happening, that was him, your Pietro.
“Pietro?” You asked him, still not grasping the reality. It didn’t make any sense. He looked at you but didn’t say anything.
“You know him?” Tony asked.
“He- I- Pietro what- what is this? who is she?” You were hopelessly looking at him for answers.
“We are Pietro and Wanda Maximoff and we are here to get justice for the death of our parents.” Wanda told everyone.
“Either give us justice by taking accountability all of your wrong doings, for the destructions you have caused, or we will do it ourselves. The world doesn’t need fake heroes like you, who kill innocent people.”
“Your father is a murderer” Pietro finally talked to you. “And he will pay.”
“What are you saying? The Avengers help people, they don’t-“
“Shut up. You’re either too stupid or delusional. Your father kept you in this protected world while people like us suffered. I wouldn’t expect you to understand, Miss Stark.” You were taken aback by his harsh tone. Was that really your Pietro?
“Is that what your think of me?” You asked him with tears in your eyes.
“Don’t you get it? It doesn’t fucking matter. You don’t matter. You were just a means to get closer to the Avengers.” Pietro informed you harshly. “But my sister accelerated things and I think that was for the best. My plan was too slow.”
“Was that all I was to you? Just a plan? Everything else, a lie?” You knew the questions were rhetorical but you couldn’t help yourself. It all felt so real? The way Pietro looked at you,. the moments you shared, how could it all be a lie?
Pietro couldn’t look into your teary eyes. Why did it affect him? It didn’t matter if you were hurt. No. He didn’t care about you. That wasn’t the plan.
“Tell me Pietro, look into my eyes and say that not even for a second it was real to you.”
“You are so fucking self obsessed that you can’t even focus on the reality.” Pietro knew it wasn’t true. You were nice and caring, empathetic. “This is so much bigger than you and your feelings. Fuck I should have just killed you instead, that would have taught your monster of a father a true lesson, he would have realised how it feels when you lose someone so close.” Pietro was in the flurry of rage.
“Pietro…” Wanda could feel Pietro was fighting a battle within himself. Things were getting messy.
“Enough!” Tony shouted. “Your fight was with me and the Avengers, you shouldn’t have got my daughter involved.”
“Scares you doesn’t it? Knowing I could have killed your precious daughter? Fucking hurts doesn’t it?”
Tony took out his blasters and Pietro attacked him as fast as he could, Wanda used her powers to throw Steve and Clint away, Thor took up his hammer- It all happened so quickly.
Before you knew what was happening, you felt your body move, Nat shot a bullet towards Pietro who was fighting Tony, and you came in front of him. Taking the bullet yourself. Immediately you fell to the ground.
“No!” Tony yelled. “Take her to the medic, Honey why did you do it? Why?” Everyone rushed to you as Pietro stood their in shock. Did you jump in to save him? Did you take the bullet for him?
“Why?” Pietro asked as he looked at you on the ground, in Tony’s arms.
“Because I know you’re not the bad guy. You’re a victim of an accident.” You were losing too much blood.
“Looks like you’ll get your wish Pietro, I hope you’re happy after this.” You managed to speak out before losing consciousness.
Pietro pushed everyone away and got close to you within a second. Tony was about to push him away when Pietro took you in his arms.
“Where is the medic?” Pietro asked while carrying your unconscious body. “WHERE IS THE MEDIC?” He yelled.
“Third Floor.”
“Call the doctors to be ready.” And in an instant you rushed to the Medic with you in your arms. He put you on the medic bed.
Everyone else came as quickly as they could, Clint and Nat had their eye on Wanda. Tony was too broken to fight with either Pietro were Wanda.
“You both will face the consequences.” Nat told them.
Wanda moved closer to her brother who was intently watching the doctors operate you through the door.
“She took the bullet for me. And I said I should have killed her. I don’t want that Wanda- I don’t her to die. None of this was her fault then why did I get her involved? Did we really become that driven by the need for revenge?”
He couldn’t stop his tears. “She comforted me you know. Listened to me. And for a second it was real. Fuck who am I lying to? You and me both know it was real. I know that wasn’t the plan but it happened. And now she is lying unconscious. Because of me. She protected me.”
After a whole agonising 24 hours, you gained consciousness. Meanwhile Nat and Clint interrogated the Maximoffs. Pietro didn’t speak a word. To lost to say anything. His mind only had one thought. You.
Wanda answered some questions. Told them the details about their parent’s death.
“We only wanted justice. We didn’t want to physically hurt any innocent people. But I guess the Hulk attack changed that. Suddenly the reality set in on us. The consequences of the destruction. We were too driven by rage. But we couldn’t back down.”
“Look Kid, these people who you hate so much, give everyone a chance for redemption. Trust me. You’ve got powers right? Do you know how many people you can help with that?”
They talked to Wanda more and as soon as Pietro heard about you gaining consciousness he was in front of the room you were in. So were the rest of the Avengers, including Tony.
“Don’t even think about going inside.” Tony told him.
“I just want to know she is okay.”
“She is. Now go away before I do something to you.”
“Kid, you should back away.” Steve told Pietro.
One of the doctors came out and informed them you have requested to talk to Pietro. Even against Tony’a wishes, Pietro finally got to go in.
“I-“ Pietro didn’t know what to say.
“I’m sorry you didn’t get to hurt my dad by seeing me dead.”
“Don’t say that please.”
“That’s what you wanted right?”
“I thought it’s what I should do, to give my parents justice. But if they saw what I did, what we did, they would have been so disappointed.”
You kept quiet. Facing away from him.
“Losing someone close always hurts, and I don’t think I can do that again.” Pietro confessed as he sat down beside your bed
“You were right, it was real, what we had. That wasn’t the plan but it just happened. I didn’t want to admit it. Didn’t want to divert from my goal.”
“What matters is what you do now”
“I’m in too deep now, I became what I wanted to protect the world from. It’s too late.”
“It isn’t. You were a victim, consumed by rage you did everything. There is always chance for redemption. You have powers right? You want to protect the world right? The people you hate so much are trying to do the same. Maybe I don’t agree with all of their methods, you don’t have to either. But they are not bad people.”
“Will you- will you give me another chance?”
“I don’t think I can trust you again.”
Pietro deserved that.
“Take care дорогой”
Wanda and Pietro were taken in by the Avengers. The twins realised, they themselves had been manipulated by various people. If they had received the powers, why not use it for good.
You hardly went out anymore. Nothing felt right. You were happy to hear about Wanda and Pietro, but you felt like part of yourself went missing forever.
Few months later, one day you decided to go to your favourite coffee shop again. Maybe you had to start living again. Things were better, even if a little. Ordering your favourite drink, you sat down in a nice spot beside the window.
“Is this seat taken?” Your eyes went up to the silver haired man. You shook your head.
“If you want, you can always throw your drink on my face.” He spoke nervously. “At least that would give me a chance to buy you another.”
You couldn’t help but smile. The memories of your first meeting flashing in your mind, but also a reminder of the beginning of the lies.
“I know you said you can’t trust me. I understand that. Can you at least give me a chance to try to win your trust again? No matter how long it takes. I’ll keep trying.”
“Pietro…”
“I’m an Avenger now.” He said proudly. “I guess they are not too bad. Better than Hydra and the rest of the lot at least.”
“I’m happy to hear that.” You told him with a small smile on your face.
“We stopped a Hydra attack recently, saved some hostages, an old lady thanked me for saving her life. You have no idea how good that felt.” Your smile grew bigger.
“Your parents would be proud.” Pietro looked at you trying to control his tears, and stopping himself from taking you in his arms.
“Please дорогой, please give me one chance.”
“You- you won’t hurt me again.”
“Never. I only want to make you happy.”
You smiled and pushed your cup gently towards him. He took a sip.
“Sweet. Like you.” You smiled again.
“We can go out for Ice Cream, maybe?”
“It would mean the world to me дорогой”

Today was one of the days you hated. No, that’s not it. Today was one of the days where you just hated everything about yourself. So instead of doing anything, you get back into bed, crying, covering yourself with all of the sheets.
A few hours later, Pietro comes home. He looks for you in the kitchen, the living room and your office, but it doesn’t take long for him to find you covered head to toe by the sheets of your shared bed.
He walks over and pulls back the covers, “Hi princessa. Bad day?”
“Pietro, I can’t stand myself today,” you cried, not even bothering to fight to get the covers back. “It’s horrible. I feel like the whole world’s out to get me and every time I look in the mirror or see my reflection in anything, I burst into tears over how fat I am and how ugly I am. I don’t know what you see in me.”
“Princessa,” he says softly, lifting his hand to your face. You close your eyes at the touch; it feels so gentle and so comforting. “You’re perfect for me. I love how your eyes light up whenever you get really into something you’re talking about.” You open your eyes and look at him.
“I love how you feel when I hold you.” He moved his hand away from you and started to climb into the bed with you. “Your eyes are very pretty.” He wraps his arms around you, pulling you to him. “I love how beautiful your smile is. I love how kind and helpful you are.”
You smile a little and he can feel it so he keeps going, “You are the most beautiful person I know.”
You lift your hand up and put it on his chest as you say, “you don’t need to lie. I’m definitely not. You’re only saying that because you love me.”
“No, you are, at least to me,” he tells you quietly. “You are beautiful because I love you. And I will spend the rest of my life proving that to you.”
You put your arms around him, “thank you. You make me feel a little better. I just don’t know if I’m completely convinced.”
He kisses all over your face, causing you to giggle. Once he finishes, he pulls you close and just holds you. “I love you, princessa,” he whispers.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: You've been warned to stay away from your scary, bad boy neighbour, Pietro Maximoff. He's a biker and rides with a gang and he's intimidatingly handsome. While you try to avoid him at all costs, he corners you, determined to make you realise he's just as soft as you are, and he doesn't want to scare you the way he does.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭: Reader is super terrified of Pietro, lots of softness after the initial fright of being cornered by him, soft autumnal feels, gentle fluff, kissing, pet names, Pietro - he is a warning himself of course.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: Hello loves! Here's a little Pietro fic. It's been a while since I've written for this boy but I really missed him! I hope you enjoy this, I've been excited to write this ever since I got the request from @reyhanahasanli!

He was outside again. Pietro Maximoff, silver hair, beautiful face. But god, he terrified you.
He leaned against his bike in his driveway, looking down at his phone. You needed to go outside to check your mail but he was right there. The only times you had ever interacted with him were when he tried to talk to you. But the old lady who had lived in your little house before you had told you before you moved in to watch out for the Maximoff boy. He was in a gang and he would hurt you if you got in his way, according to her at least.
So you kept your distance, scooted past him as fast as you could and even, on one rather embarrassing occasion, bumped into him and then squealed with terror as you ran away and into your house.
But probably the worst part was that Pietro was devastatingly handsome. You saw him from the front window all the time. He was usually out in his driveway, working on his bike. Or he was in his house, shirtless and standing way too close to the window. That always made you feel even more intimidated. How was that man so handsome but so terrifying all at the same time?
You decided after a very impatient five minutes of anxiously working yourself up to just going outside and ignoring him to get your mail, you finally flung the door open and rushed out to the mailbox.
“Hey!” Pietro waved at you from his driveway, but when you looked up at him, you looked like a little rabbit caught in the headlights and you almost had the reaction to run away. But you did come here for your mail, so you fiddled, uselessly with the keys, hands fumbling as you struggled to find the right one and hold it properly. “Hello?” His thick accent made you pause. You felt him standing over you, his shadow looming over your mailbox and you swallowed nervously before you slowly tried to get the key into the lock. You were here now, running back to the house without your post would make you look ridiculous.
“Um,” Pietro said, watching as you finally got the mailbox open and pulled out the magazine that had been delivered. “Huh cute, you read about knitting. Hey, wait, hold on!” Pietro stopped you before you could walk away, his hand coming down to gently hold your wrist.
“I am sorry - do you think I’m going to hurt you, mica Prințesă?” He asked softly. For once, you looked up at Pietro and didn’t feel so intimidated. His features were soft, he was pretty and his lips were turned down in genuine concern. “I-.” You couldn’t quite muster the words, but you nodded when they failed you. For some reason you couldn’t help but be truthful with him, no matter how embarrassing it was to admit that you were afraid of him. “I won’t hurt you, I promise, Printesa. I just came to ask you what you were cooking last night, it smelled really good and-.” “Lasagne.” You interrupted, eyes wide and mildly petrified like he might hurt you for interrupting him, but you slowly relaxed when all he did was smile at you, satisfied and grateful.
You were way too scared of Pietro, but something in the way he looked at you soothed you enough to relax and let him hold onto your hand, his fingers slipping down to hold onto you, his touch gentle and calming and you felt the sudden warmth of calm. You could have pulled away, he wasn’t holding onto you tightly at all, but you didn’t want to.
What was strange to you, was that you had barely ever spoken to Pietro. The only word in this conversation you had said was a food item and now you were holding hands. But somehow, it felt right.
A storm was brewing overhead, and as you stood outside with Pietro, the wind picking up and the loose leaves blowing around the street, you heard the low rumble of thunder overhead. “Do you, um, want to come in for coffee?” You asked, voice timid and very quiet, but Pietro heard you. “Only if you are comfortable, Printesa.” He nodded. Oh… Maybe he wasn’t so scary after all. “I will leave if you ask me to, no questions asked, yes?” He reassured you and you met his eyes, trust forming as you nodded, accepting his reassurance and letting him walk with you towards the house.
As you walked in, you took your shoes off and began to warm up, rubbing the chill away from your arms with your hands. Pietro followed and toed off his boots. He was a huge contrast to the way your home looked. It was calm and warm and cute in your house and Pietro was a biker, hard and rough and tall, built with muscle, painted with pretty tattoos and messy silver hair. But you liked the way he contrasted you.
“This way.” You showed him to your kitchen, quickly going about making him a nice, pretty coffee. “Can I ask you something?” Pietro asked. “Mhm.” You nodded, barely meeting his eyes before turning back to your coffee machine. “Are you scared of me, sweetheart?” He asked quietly, watching you as he leaned against your kitchen counters. And for the first time, Pietro sounded unsure of himself, worried about how you would answer. “Um, maybe a bit.” You nodded, avoiding eye contact. Pietro softened at your words. You really were afraid of him and that broke his heart. But also, it sparked a need to protect you, to make it known that he’d rather protect you than hurt you. “Please do not be, I know I look scary but I am nice. I have a twin sister and I cannot go a week without hugging her and I really like coffee. I really like dogs and I am not part of a gang, is that why you are scared of me?” He rambled. “You’re- you’re not?” You frowned, finally looking over at him. “No, I meet with my biker friends to ride but we are not a gang. We just ride our bikes for fun on Sundays.” He explained, accent thick on his words as he tried to get them out as fast as possible. “Oh… Like a club.” You nodded, passing him a coffee decorated with pretty patterns in the foam.
“Yes, like a club.”
From that moment onwards, you and Pietro were a lot more friendly. Instead of being terrified of him, you often said hello to him and waved if you were in a rush. On the days that you weren’t busy, you sometimes found yourself enjoying the comfort of his living room while it rained outside on cold autumnal evenings. You even showed him how to make traditional lasagne. He loved that.
And one Sunday evening, after his biker friends had left, you peeked your head out of the door to watch him putting his motorbike back in his garage, only for him to call over his shoulder, “are you just going to stand there or do you want to come over, Prințesă?” That was all the prompting you needed to leave your house, cross over to his driveway and throw yourself into his arms, Pietro catching you and hugging you tight against his chest, warm and loving.
“I want to make you a paprikash tonight. Will you cook with me?” He asked, leading you out of the garage and into his house. “Of course.” You nodded. “My good girl. Come, I’ll show you.”
You didn’t do much helping. You mostly just sat on one of his countertops and watched as he cooked while you told him about your day. He let his paprikash cook slowly and while it did, he moved over towards you, stepping closer to rest his hands on the counter, either side of you. “I’m glad we met.” You spoke softly. “Mm, me too, pretty girl.” Pietro gave you his lopsided grin and you nearly melted at the sight. “Are you still afraid of me?” He asked quietly, voice suddenly serious as he leaned closer to you, lips only a breath away from yours. “No, Piet.” You whispered truthfully. “Promise, Printesa mea. Please.” And he captured you softly in a kiss, lips warm and gentle against yours, hands careful as he held you. He felt perfect. Everything about being with Pietro felt perfect. “I promise.” You whispered against his lips. You poured your emotions into your kiss, hands trailing up until they met at the nape of his neck. Pietro kissed you until you were both breathless. He took his time, loving you slowly, kissing you how he had always wanted to kiss you, meaningfully, genuine and full of adoration.

You stare at Pietro, his burning eyes looking straight at you with hardness. You drink the last sip of the red wine both of you ordered, and shift your gaze to meet the waitress at your side.
She has curly brown hair, near to her scalp, and almond eyes. She tilts her head at you, a big smile on her plump lips, as she hands you the bill. Pietro watches her actions with amazing precision. You already know what´s happening inside of his head but you play along nonetheless.
"Did you enjoy your food, ma´am?", she asks, her voice dripping with shameless seduction. You grab the bill and hand it over to Pietro, your eyes never leaving the waitress´ face.
"It was really good, yeah.", you reply as Pietro takes out his credit card and gestures for the waitress to take it. The dark-shinned woman doesn't seem to notice so you signal towards your boyfriend for her to notice.
"You gonna take my payment or what?", he says with a thick Russian accent. You snap your head towards him and widen your eyes but Pietro doesn´t seem to care as the waitress grabs his credit card with an annoyed expression.
She waits for Pietro to pay and then takes out the receipt and hands it to you, that big smile back on her lips. You glance at Pietro who is already getting up and then look at the woman again.
"Thank you so much for everything.", you say with sweet words as you get up. She follows you with her eyes.
"You are quite welcome...", she whispers and then places her hand on your shoulder gently. You see Pietro tensing up, his whole body feeling like a brick as the waitress hands you a piece of paper, "I would love to have coffee with you sometime... Have a nice night."
She slips her phone number into your pocket and gives you one last smile before turning around and leaving. You part your lips at the bold action and look at Pietro.
Oh boy...
"Pietro, I-"
"Save it.", he cuts you off, his hands already grabbing your body gently. You sigh and wait for him to lift you quickly, the whole restaurant doesn't have time to notice this as he starts running towards your house.
You are used to his powers but it´s still very strange so see everything in slow motion as he sprints through the city. His grip on your thighs is a bit rough but you don´t say anything.
He takes a turn and, before you realize it, you are already home in your living room. He puts you down and walks towards the kitchen in complete silence. He usually isn't this quiet and you already know that he is aching to say something.
You follow him as Pietro takes one bottle of beer from the fridge and opens it with ease. His silver hair is slightly messy from the run so he fixes it with his hand, his eyes facing the counter.
"Are we gonna talk about this or?", you ask as he takes a sip from the alcoholic drink. You are now standing next to him but he isn't looking at you like he usually does.
"There´s nothing to talk about, Y/N.", he simply states with another sip. You groan in frustration and move closer to him.
"Bullshit. Pietro, look at me...", you ask and he, surprisingly, does. You can see jealousy behind his eyes and you can´t help but feel a little bit bad about leading on the waitress... But you did love it when he was jealous.
"Are you mad at me?", you ask and he chuckles slightly but there´s no amusement behind his action.
"I don´t know, should I be?". You know he is playing games with you... Fuck.
"Oh my God, are you gonna give me a straight answer or what?!", your voice comes out a bit rougher and Pietro puts down the bottle.
"Perhaps that waitress will give you all the answers you want, uh? Why don´t you fucking dial her number and go meet her for coffee?", he asks with sarcasm. You feel your face heat up with both anger and shame.
You take out the piece of paper with her phone number from your pocket, and then rip it to pieces in front of him. He watches this but doesn´t say anything.
"I don´t give a fuck about her, alright? I am not dating her, I am dating you.", you state as you throw the pieces of paper to the floor.
"Really? Is that why you were giving her "fuck me" eyes back at the restaurant, cолнышко?", the sudden Russian nickname sends shivers down your spine but you shake them off.
"I wasn´t giving her any "fuck me" eyes, Pietro! She means nothing to me. She is nothing to me!", you scream with annoyance.
"I don´t believe you. I saw the way she was looking at you... The way she fucking touched your shoulder.", his hands move to the place where you had been touched by the woman. His hands were warm against your bare skin.
"Pietro-"
"I bet she could fuck you real good, uh? I bet she could make you scream her name, right?", he begins saying with anger, his hands moving down his body.
"N-No... That´s not true, baby.", you say with a whisper. You feel him pull you towards him, your chest hitting his with harshness.
"No? Prove it. Show me how much you want me.", you look into his eyes and feel his grip on your lower back. His body's heat is burning against yours making the whole situation ten times more intense.
You can feel his cock hardening against your belly, the bulge on his jeans getting bigger as he waits for you to do something.
You give him a small smirk and, without breaking eye contact, get down on your knees. You take your time taking off his belt, your fingers working their magic as Pietro looks at you with hunger.
You pull his jeans down, his boxers now exposed in front of your face. You finally break eye contact and look at the outline of his hard cock. The shaft is pointing towards his belly button and the tip is creating a small stain on the black boxers.
You press your palm against his shaft and he exhales through his mouth and curses in Russian. You smirk at the action and grab the hem of his shirt, your fingers slowly lifting the material to expose his silvery happy trail leading to his cock.
"Somebody's excited...", you whisper and gently squeeze his cock. Pietro let's out a dangerous chuckle and then you feel his hand grip your hair.
"You are not in control tonight, baby.", he warns and then tugs your hair a bit making you hiss. You curse at the pain and let out a small moan before nodding.
You decide to finally pull down his boxers, his cock now freed and leaking pre-cum. You lick your lips at the sight and grab the shaft, your hand hardly managing to hold all of him. You have always been amazed by how big Pietro is...
"What are you waiting for? Start sucking.", he says and then shoves your mouth against his member. You open your lips and take all of him inside, well, most of him.
You feel him moan deeply and gently buck his hips into your mouth. You try your best not to gag but it's getting difficult. You hold his hips for support as the tip of his cock hits the back of your throat roughly.
"Thought you wanted to suck me off... Guess you would rather suck that waitress off, uh?", he says, and you breathe through your nose and hollow your cheeks.
Pietro curses again and pulls your hair making your head move away from his cock. You gasp for air and try to ignore the saliva that's dripping down your lips.
"Such a slut...Fuck.", he says and then pushes your head towards his cock again.
This time you are more prepared so you manage to control the whole situation much better. You start swirling your tongue around his shaft, especially the vein surrounding it, and Pietro let's out a louder moan and bucks his hips.
He grips your hair with more force and starts thrusting your head against his cock as if you were just a hole to him. You could feel your jaw aching, tears slightly covering your vision but you were determined. You wanted to please him.
You inhale through your nose and hollow your cheeks deeper, the extra suction making Pietro bite his lip. You look up at him and almost whimper at the sight- his pale cheeks are pink and his lips are flushed as he watches you with hunger.
You want to make him cum, you want to watch that pretty face twist in wave after wave of pleasure. Fuck, you really did love when he got all jealous and possessive of you.
"I bet you are loving this... You flirt with that girl and then suck me off, all in the same night. Fucking unbelievable...", he teases you with still a bit of anger. You manage a small nod and he starts thrusting faster inside of you.
You know he won't use his super speed simply because you would die if he did...However, his pace is as quick as it can get, which is quicker than most humans manage.
You can feel his muscles contracting to signal he is gonna cum. You can't breathe properly anymore, your throat is sore and your panties are getting soaked.
You start taking him deeper and then you put one hand around his balls. Pietro moans your name like prayer as you squeeze them while you lick his pulsing cock.
Suddenly the grip on your hair gets insanely tight and then you feel him stilling. You look at him and watch as he throws his head back and bucks his hips as strings of cum shoot down your throat.
You nearly choke but manage to swallow most of it as he rides away his orgasm. His thrusts start getting sloppier and soon he is pulling you away from him.
"Look at me.", he orders and you do, "Open."
You open your mouth and show him a small bit of cum you still haven't swallowed. Pietro puts his finger on your lips and slightly rubs them.
"Swallow.", and you do, gladly.
He licks his lips and then grabs your neck before pulling you up. You meet his lips and kiss him harshly, your tongues mixing. Pietro cups your clothed ass and gives it a harsh squeeze.
"Take off your clothes and put your hands on the bed, ass up.", he murmurs against your mouth. You break the kiss and nod before quickly going to do what he asked.
As soon as you are fully naked, you put your hands on the mattress and part your legs, your dripping core and ass facing the bedroom wall.
You hear Pietro walk towards you, he is no longer wearing any shoes so you guess he must have gotten naked as well.
You wait in anticipation as he puts his hands on your ass. His fingers are quite calloused but you don't mind.
"Are you this wet because of me or because of her?", he asks with a dangerous voice. You look behind you and arch your ass.
"I don't know...", you lie just to stir him up. You smirk teasingly at him but Pietro simply gives you a death stare and then a deep dark chuckle.
"You wanna play this game? Okay, let's play.", he whispers before parting your legs wider, making your muscles ache, and then rubbing the tip of his already hardening cock against your entrance.
The best thing about having sex with a superhero was that he had more stamina than a regular human. He could get hard much quicker and could fuck you for how long you wanted him to.
Pietro interrupts your thoughts with a thrust of his hips. Your mouth falls open as his cock buries itself inside of your walls. You put your face against the bed and moan his name as Pietro starts fucking you.
You gasp at the sudden action and grip the sheets as your boyfriend picks up the pace. His cock is nearly hitting your stomach, your clitoris being stimulated by the roughness as he hits your g-spot with amazing precision.
He knows exactly how to please you and that can be dangerous. Well, not really dangerous, more like exciting.
"Oh fuck... Fuck, fuck.", you moan as he grabs your hips and starts matching your body to his thrusts.
"You like that?", he asks as his balls smack against your folds.
"Yeah...Feels so good.", you moan as your heart nearly explodes inside of your chest. Sweat is starting to drip down your back, your arms aching a bit because of the awkward position.
"You think she could make you feel this way? You think that girl could make you this fucking wet?", he growls and you shake your head, your eyes leaking a bit and your lips parted with pleasure.
"Answer me!", he shouts with another harsh thrust. You whimper and try to breathe in.
"N-no... You are the only one who does this to me. Baby, you feel so good.", you tell him making Pietro groan and curse under his breath.
You feel him grab your right thigh and lift it slightly. Your chest rises from the mattress, your hands nearly lifting too as he puts your foot on the bed. Your other leg is still on the floor.
You moan at the new angle making Pietro thrust deeper. You feel the bed sink as he puts one leg on the bed, his body now sideways as he guides you into the new position. This new shift makes his cock go deeper into you, and you cry out as you feel that sweet high of pleasure almost exploding inside of you.
"Fucking take it. Take all of my cock like a good girl.", he teases and the nickname almost makes you cum.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck... I wanna cum. Oh my God... Your cock feels so good inside of me, baby.", you moan breathlessly.
"Yeah? You gonna cum?", he asks and you nod rapidly. He digs his fingers into your waist and you cry out at the pain.
"Cum for me, slut.", he says and you shut your eyes and let yourself be taken by pleasure.
Your whole body starts shaking, your legs almost giving in as waves of pleasure rush through you. Your mind feels foggy and you moan loudly his name over and over again, his cock guiding you through your orgasm.
You let your arms fall down and then your chest hits the bed. Pietro stops thrusting as you come down from your high. You feel so fucking good but exhausted too.
"Was that good?"
"Y-yeah...", you whisper, and then Pietro rubs your sweaty back and starts thrusting again making you widen your eyes.
"Then cum for me again.", he says as he picks up the pace. You feel tears drip down your cheeks as your abused clit occasionally throbs with immense pleasure.
It feels really intense, way too intense, like your body is trying to build up any sort of energy to cum again. You aren't sure if you can but you don't want to disappoint Pietro... Especially because his hard cock is already pulsing inside of you.
"She could never make you cum like I do... You are mine. I am the only one who gets to see you like this. You hear me?!", he asks with deep moans.
"Y-yes... Yours... Pietro...", you say with small whimpers. He starts thrusting harder and harder, his chest heaving with every movement.
"Cum for me. Come on, cum all over this cock. Fucking do it.", he encourages and you shut your eyes and feel a new strange wave inside of you.
You part your lips and start moaning loudly, maybe too loud but you don't care. Your walls start convulsing, your whole body numb with the new sensation as you feel a new rush of pleasure run through you.
You can't hear anything or see anything. Pietro stills inside of you and then his cum fills you adding an extra feeling to the experience. Your legs give out and he grabs your body up making you stay in position.
It feels like ages before he stops thrusting, his softening cock slipping out of you. He lets your body fall on the bed and you whimper and feel something drip down your thighs. Did you... No way...
"Fuck... You squirted all over me, baby...", Pietro whispers as he lays down next to you.
You roll over onto your back and look at him with tired eyes. You can't believe you actually squirted... All because of him and his jealousy.
"Fuck...That felt so fucking good.", you whisper and Pietro chuckles and kisses your sweaty forehead.
"Don't ever try to make me jealous again, you hear me?", he says with an amused voice. You chuckle and look at his eyes.
"It's quite funny, though...", you tease making him roll his eyes playfully.
You bury your head against his chest and close your eyes, your body too exhausted to stay awake any longer.
This night is one to remember...

pietro often wondered about the girl who was held next door. he'd hear the screeching metal against the floor followed by a slight commotion and then a thud on the floor. small shuffling could be heard and then it was silence. no movement, no talking, no heavy breathing or cries, silence until the next time the metal door unleashed its harrowing song, and large boots could be heard entering the cell and dragging the girl away.
pietro couldn't tell how long he'd really been here nor how long it had been since the mysterious girl next to him was there but he did know it had been months on end and yet he had never seen a glimpse of the girl that shared the wall with him.
there was a small hole in the cement that allowed him to peer into the girl's cell but each time he looked he was met with the grey wall from beyond. he had heard murmurs that she was young like him and wanda. strong, fearless, one of the doctor's favorites. she was often sent out on missions and came back unscathed. each mission she was sent on was a success as if the concept of failure was unfathomable. she apparently spoke little, only when instructed, never talked back, never laughed, never screamed. almost robotic.
which is why it came to pietro's surprise after hearing the thud of her knees hit the floor and the guards march away he heard a soft sniffle. and then slightly louder ones followed by rapid and heavy breathing. pietro scuffled over to the hole in the wall and peered through. he could see her sitting against the far wall with her legs tucked closely to her, her forehead resting on her knees. he could only see half her body from where she was sitting but he could see her shoulder shaking.
"you... you need to breathe in and out. you are going to make yourself pass out," pietro was unsure, his voice quiet but loud enough for her to hear. her head shot up and looked directly at the hole. her hair was sticking to her face, her mouth was slightly parted, and eyes wide and red.
"it's okay. my name is pietro. you don't need to talk but i... i wanted to see if you are okay. you've never even made a noise before now," he felt funny slightly confessing the fact he's been taking note of your actions.
he watched as you wiped the tears off your cheek and raked the hair off your face.
"i don't know how i am," your voice sounded like you hadn't spoken in days.
"it's okay to not know."
from where you sat you could only see the boy's eye. it was a striking blue, "like the sky," you murmured.
"what?" you heard the voice call back.
you slowly stood up dragging your chained feet over to the wall. you held the wall, steadying yourself before sitting with a huff, "your eyes remind me of the sky."
pietro wasn't sure what to say back. he went months not hearing your voice or seeing you, only knowing the tales that the guards spoke of yet here you were inches from him, broken down and giving a compliment. a much different reality to the one he thought he knew before.
pietro didn't hear another word from you, he assumed you fell asleep against the wall. he tried looking through the hole at any angle he could to see you, but all he noticed was a piece of metal gleaming from the dull light in your cell.
a few days had passed since the interaction and pietro had little time to dwell on it. his testing was getting more intense, he was constantly being injected with needles he knew nothing about, there were many monitors reading whatever vitals they needed to document, and his training was becoming more rigorous. he was exhausted, he hadn't been in his cell in two days, and although the cell offered no comfort he much rather be locked behind the bars than strapped to a table.
the guards pushed him down the hallway, taunting him. each time he stood up they would push him back down. the shackles on his wrists rubbed his skin raw and those around his ankles prevented him from running. the guard gripped his shoulder tightly walking past wanda's cell as she called out to her brother.
"wanda!" he screamed out as he watched the other guard reach through the bars and grip at her neck. the guard holding onto him roughly pushed him into the cell causing him to stumble and land on his shoulder, his face grazed the cement floor.
you had heard the commotion from your cell, you stood at the door looking over at the guards who simply laughed at the twins who were now in pain. all you could do was grimace. you hated this, you hated this place, each day you yearned to leave this hell hole you've called home. you heard pietro scream in frustration and then heard his rapid movements as he ran around his cell, thrashing against the walls.
you had seen pietro from a distance a few times. you were never allowed to be near the enhanced people and only managed glimpses of them. you had seen his super speed and the way the scientists trained him. it was brutal and he endured a lot just from the few moments you had witnessed. you started to notice that after particularly rough days he would do this, run back and forth for what seemed like hours on end. slamming into the cement walls that would somehow rattle from the force. he would yell in anger, cursing the guards and scientists for what they were doing.
the noise settled and you hesitantly sat in front of the small hole. you could see his large frame hunched over catching his breath. he ran a hand through his messy silver hair, his white tank top was dirty and slightly damp from his running. you peered behind your shoulder at the hallway making sure it was empty. you swallowed thickly with nerves in fear of getting caught before forcing three fingers into the hole and ripping the cement block from the wall. you could now fit your head through the hole comfortably if you wanted to.
"pietro," you said placing the block beside you. he faltered and gestured with an open hand in confusion at the now gaping hole in the wall. you couldn't help but pull your lips into a tight light suppressing the laugh you wanted to let out at the look on his face. using his speed he rushed to face you, eyes wide examining the open edges of the cement.
"you-"
"are strong," you cut him off jokingly.
the two of you sat staring at each other. it was weird to be face to face after countless months of unknowing the other despite being separated by only a wall. you took in his appearance. he was handsome. up close you could now see the slight curls to his hair and the short facial hair. his shoulders broad and built. under his sky-blue eyes were dark circles from the lack of sleep but it suited him. he was stunning and pietro was thinking the same about you. your hair fell haphazardly across your forehead. your eyes were kind and gentle, much different than the stone-cold eyes he had imagined in his head. your lips were pulled to one side in the tiniest of smiles as you took in his appearance. pietro found it hard to believe the stories he has heard about your reputation as he stared at you. expression soft, eyes and smile kind, you looked battered and worn down but still so youthful as if you didn't fit in with the surrounding grey walls.
"are you okay?" you finally asked.
pietro's nostrils flared and his eyes fluttered shut, "i don't know."
you hesitated a moment before repeating his words from a few days prior, "it's okay to not know."
if you weren't staring intently at the man before you you would've missed the smile that flashed across his face at your remark. it was soon washed away when you both heard loud footsteps from down the hall. you both quickly turned towards the noise that was approaching pietro's cell, he gulped harshly as a guard came into view. he looked back at the wall expecting to still see your face but instead, he saw a metal hand escaping through the hole as if the cement was never removed.
metal...?
it must have been late in the night. the guards had already dropped off the atrocious meal they call dinner and returned to pick the trays up. they rarely patrolled the hallways at night, opting to smoke outside. it was eerie each night. the sound of dripping water from pipes echoed, the occasional gunfire could be heard from the woods outside, slight whispers could be heard from the twins once in a blue moon but it was rare. in a place like this, they didn't let you be a person so it was hard to act like one.
pietro was lying on the bed facing the ceiling making a laughable attempt at trying to get some sort of sleep. he was imagining his life before this when his family was all together, when times were happy, when he was just a little kid and not a young adult performing for crazed scientists. his eyes scanned the room at the sound of bricks moving before seeing your head pop into vision from the hole. pietro let out a small laugh through his nose seeing your sheepish smile.
you sat facing the other not saying anything at first. it was oddly comfortable being face-to-face with the one they call quicksilver. you couldn't put your finger on why though. you've spoken so few words to him but then again it was the first time you let yourself speak to someone in this building that wasn't a doctor or a guard. maybe it was you being naive but it felt okay and safe.
"what made you cry the other day?" he finally spoke his question causing you to blink a few times.
"i think... i think they do something to my head. i mean, i know they do," you thought bringing your fingers to your temple as if the gesture helped you remember, "but i think i'm starting to notice when i'm on missions. it's hard to really know though it's all a blur."
pietro nodded softly taking in what you had to say, "like... brainwashing?"
"it has to be. they recite something each time and then it's like i'm not me," you confessed, "but these past few missions i'll overhear things from strangers passing by or i'll see something and i can feel myself start to wake from the trance. i'm starting to remember life before here and i'm becoming aware of what they have me doing."
"whatever it is they have you doing just know you are still a good person," pietro spoke quietly.
"i kill people," you said bluntly looking him straight in the eyes. he averted his gaze slightly, his hand coming to caress his jaw.
"the person they turn you into out there isn't you. the real you is sitting in front of me now."
"how can you be so sure, you don't even know me," you questioned.
"i don't think an out right evil person would check to see if a stranger is okay... or compliment them the first time they see them," pietro joked slightly. you hung your head as your lips pulled back into a smile. pietro couldn't help the way his body leaned closer to the hole with a big smile on his face observing the way you became shy.
"no one in this building is perfect. we've all done things that are considered evil but if we manage to hold on to some sort of sense of ourselves i think we will be okay. i hope wanda and i get out of here soon. it was a mistake yanno, being volunteers, i regret it. it makes me feel worse knowing you had no say in the matter. you're here every day as a puppet against your will and yet i walked through these doors. every day i'm in pain and every day i regret it," pietro's accent got thicker as he got emotional.
you frowned at the silver-haired man, "life in here is already hard enough, there is no point in being hard on yourself."
his eyes were glossed over, internally fighting himself for the choices he had made in the past. you reached your hand into the hole searching for his. this was out of character for you but it some selfish way you wanted the warmth of his hand to comfort you as well. it was peaceful sitting in silence holding each other's hand. the only form of physical touch the two of you ever received was in the form of torture. gruff hands slapping, punching, shoving, and poking you seemed like a far and distant sensation compared to the safety you felt as pietro's thumb traced the back of your hand.
"you should rest," pietro finally broke what felt like an hour's long silence, "they usually take you first."
you sighed deeply but you knew he was right. god knows what hour it was and you needed to try and get some sleep. pietro gently let go of your hand and allowed you to snake it back through the hole.
"thank you pietro. i hope we can talk more soon," you told him earnestly.
"i hope so too," he gave you a lopsided grin before you grabbed the brick.
it was mere days later when you two found yourself in the same position. the guards were out, pietro had finished his talks with wanda, the disgusting dinners were consumed and taken away, and here you were staring into the sky amongst grey walls. pietro noticed your face had small cuts scattered on it from a mission you were sent on a day prior but you had made no mention of it thus far. you were currently enthralled by pietro telling a story from his younger days. pietro was funny and he didn't even need to try, it had been years since you felt the burning sensation in your sides from laughing too much but he made it easy. and pietro loved the sound of your laugh, it was beautiful, irresistible almost. the two of you went back and forth sharing any memories you could remember from life before these walls and it was effortless but you knew just like the other nights it was soon time to hide the hole.
"you're really pretty," you confessed.
pietro's mouth formed an 'o' shape before turning into a giddy smile, "you are beautiful, dragă"
this time it was pietro plugging the brick back into the wall just as he was about to finish a loud booming voice came from your side of the wall. his hands shook slightly at the volume of the guard yelling 'soldier' in russian to you. pietro could no longer see what was happening but he heard you stand up and reply back and leave the cell.
although you and the guard walked in silence you knew he saw you talking to pietro. you continued to clench and unclench your fists trying to calm yourself for what was to come.
"Тебе нравится мальчик?" (do you like the boy?) the guard asked placing a firm grip on your shoulder, pushing you towards the all too familiar room. you stayed quiet and you heard the man snicker to himself, satisfied with your silence.
in the room, several other guards were standing in position, many holding guns. you saw the needles and wires spread across the small rolling table with a doctor in a white coat hunched over it. the monitors sitting idly waiting to read your vitals. the guard that escorted you pushed you into the contraption that stood before you forcing your body flush against the back. immediately automatic shackles secured your arms to the chair and the whirling sound of small electric plates situated themselves against the sides of your head.
"смешно... ты, кажется, молчишь только рядом с нами," (funny... you only seem to be quiet around us.) the doctor smirked, admitting they all were aware of you and pietro speaking. the doctor sucked his teeth as you glared at him, unwilling to confess to anything.
he picked up the mouth guard from the table wiggling it in front of your mouth waiting for you to open. you bit down in anger, all the muscles in your face twitching, your eyelids blinking rapidly pushing back any emotion daring to creep up at what you knew was about to happen. it wasn't often they wiped your memory, only when they deemed your actions defied them, like not getting enough information on missions which was rare. it had been months since the last time they did this. you screamed in agony as the electric volts zapped against your head. sweat started to bead across your thrashing body. it was indescribable and it wasn't a short process but once the currents stopped your world was black and each time you'd wake up in your cell with no recollection.
it was a week later you found yourself in the training room after being isolated since the memory wipe. your shoulders were hunched forward, chest facing the ground, your arms swayed ever so slightly by your side, your breathing was ragged after being beaten in the form of "training" for the last two hours. the doctors insisted it would be over soon, one final test for the day before you could go to your cell. the door creaked open and the familiar sound of boots entered, you didn't even bother looking up.
"солдат!" (soldier!) a guard yelled causing you to slowly pick your head up. at the door was a young man you'd never seen before, he wore tattered pants and a tank top, his hair was silver, and his blue eyes were opened wide in what you could only assume was shock. and though you didn't recognize him, pietro recognized you.
up until now, he had never seen your full figure before, only parts of your body that were visible through the hole. despite you clearly being injured and tired you stood tall and pietro could tell you were strong. the most alarming part about you was your arm... your metal arm. pietro's eyebrows scrunched together, head slightly cocked to the side examining the way the metal met your skin, some scar tissue bright red while others were faded.
before pietro could mutter any words aloud a doctor appeared from a side door and sauntered towards you holding a notebook.
"работа...установить..." (work...establish...) the doctor read.
"please, no," you whispered, your neck screwing to the side as if it will block the doctor's voice.
"станция..." (station...)
pietro watched as your chest heaved air in and out as the doctor continued reciting from the book, circling your body like a predator ready to attack. he watched as your teeth chatter together and your metal hand flexed. the doctor stopped behind your right shoulder leaning down slightly so his mouth was level with your ear. pietro couldn't hear the whispers but he felt nervous at the doctor's intense eye contact and the loud clap of the notebook being shut. the doctor lazily dragged his hand off your shoulder whispering one final command before exiting the way he came.
pietro jumped at the sound of the door behind him slamming shut as the guards snuck out, leaving only the two of you in the room.
"wha- WOAH!" pietro shrieked as you came barreling towards him at full speed, your metal arm raised high in the air to come down on his body.
"please i don't want to hurt you," but his pleas were left unheard as you socked him in the jaw, tossing him to the ground and repeatedly punching his stomach. although being fast, pietro found himself trapped beneath you and it took moments before he was able to get out and start running in different directions. slowly, you walked towards a vacant chair in the corner, eyes trained on the blue light racing around the room. you gripped the chair waiting for the right moment before launching it across the room and nailing pietro square in the back. you stalked towards his groaning figure grasping his shoulder and flipping him onto his back where you straddled him and punched at his face.
to pietro's relief, the doctor came back into the room beckoning an order to you. pietro watched from underneath your frame as your pupils twitched at him and your head robotically moved to face the doctor. you refrained from punching pietro anymore and stood up and walked to the doctor and the two guards who waited behind. one of the guards stabbed a needle into your neck and once more the world was black.
you couldn't even begin to guess what time or day it was when you finally woke up on the floor of your cell. your body was violently shaking from the cold and you started to panic. as much as you tried to think of any memories you couldn't, it was like your mind was a blank slate and it was causing you to panic even more which then turned into anger. you grabbed the small bed and threw it at the wall and screamed loudly. you repeatedly slammed your metal first into the wall causing dust to liter the air. guards walked past your cell but simply laughed and continued to make their way down the hall and off into the outside world.
"hey," a voice spoke unsteadily. you whipped your head around to the other wall and saw a face peeking through.
"it's okay," the man tried to ease seeing your angered state approaching him. you kneeled in front of the hole looking intensely at his face.
"who are you?"
this question confirmed pietro's fear that they wiped your memory. he had foolishly hoped that in the training room you were just too worn down to recognize him when he walked through the door before they sent you into your trance.
"my name is pietro. you may not remember but i am a friend," he spoke hoping to see any form of recollection cross your face. instead you examined him quietly before turning your head and examining the room. it was lit dully, your bed now turned on its side, and there was a tray of food sitting near the cell door that looked to be days old.
"this is a hydra base," pietro continued without you having to ask, "the people here are not good. they hurt us, they experiment on us, many people have died here. i have a sister here, a twin," he said pointing a finger behind him, "her name is wanda. they call us the enhanced. we both possess abilities no normal human would have due to their experimentations. we came as volunteers and i regret it."
"am i a volunteer?" you questioned.
"no, dragă. a few weeks ago you told me they found you during the winter, alone. you had been lost in the forest and they made promises to help you find home but you never returned. you said you aren't sure but you think it's been ten years since," pietro confessed, his accent thick with sorrow.
you hummed, unsure of what to say. you remembered none of this so what could you really say back? was pietro even telling the truth? how could you decipher fact from fiction in a state like this? despite the confusion and the absence of memory, something deep within you said it was all true, everything he was saying was right.
"why is my arm gone?" you whispered, slightly touching the contorting metal panels near the elbow.
pietro couldn't help but feel a pain in his chest as he observed you try and remember any semblance of yourself, "i- i don't know. what i do know is the doctors, they like you. you are very important to them and they make you do dirty work. the reason you can't remember anything is because they wipe your memory."
"i suppose that makes sense," you nodded slightly giving pietro a bitter smile.
"i am sorry for what they do to you," pietro stated earnestly. if he could help you in any way he would, over and over again, he would.
you paused, taking in pietro's face which held some serious injuries. the skin on his brow bone was split, his eye was bright red with blood and a nasty purple-green bruise on his jaw.
"did i do this to you?" you asked, slowly reaching your hand through to gently touch his jaw.
"of course you didn't my love," he murmured, tenderly grabbing your wrist and threading his fingers with yours.
"if there comes a time when i hurt you, please don't go easy on me," you pleaded.
"i cannot promise you that," he smiled at you softly, bringing his other hand to enclose your freezing one.
and pietro was being truthful. he couldn't nor he wouldn't harm you in the event the doctors forced you to fight. he would run and dodge the punches, and the chairs being thrown at him, but he couldn't fight you, he just couldn't. it pained him to see the different version of yourself, the real you locked inside begging to come out of the brainwashing.
pietro didn't think it would be so soon when he would be in the same position as before, standing across from you in the training room as the same doctor circled your body, reciting words in russian that would transform you into their super soldier. it was only hours after the two of you decided to sleep that pietro was ripped from his bed and dragged into the training room.
the doctor once again closed the notebook but before leaving he looked over at pietro, "it is a shame," he started with a thick russian accent, "her memory wiped twice in a week. i thought maybe you two would work well as a team. we could start sending you out on missions with her. but it seems she has developed a hm. what do you call it?" he fake pondered, "ah! a crush! and that is not something we take kindly here. she provides more to us here than you do so..." with that the doctor whispered one final thing in your ear before leaving.
pietro watched carefully as you headed towards him and at the last moment he sprinted away causing you to concave the metal door. you whipped your head around, eyes wide in anger, tracking the movements of the man. he was fast and this irritated you. sticking your leg out you managed to trip him at the last moment and his large frame hurled to the floor. you gripped his shirt in one hand and used your metal hand to punch him in the side of the face.
"it's me!" the man below you yelled. this had no effect on you and you raised your hand to hit him again but he grabbed your fist. the two of you violently struggled against each other before you used your hand clutched to his shirt to slide him away with great force.
"please i said i would never hurt you. it's me, pietro!" the man pleaded getting up to run past your approaching figure. for some reason hearing the name pietro caused a loud screeching pain in your head.
"what are you doing to my head?" you screamed, clutching your head in your hands, eyes screwed shut.
pietro stopped running and looked at your trembling figure, "i'm- i'm not doing anything."
you tried ignoring the high-pitched shrilling noise and stumbled to pietro. you grabbed onto his shoulders and pushed him backward against the wall. although you moved him with force pietro could feel the weakness in your grip this time. he stayed silent looking into your eyes that were frantically examining him.
"the noise..." you muttered bringing your metal hand to hold your head.
"there... there is no noise," pietro spoke confused. there was no noise in the room besides heavy breathing.
"who are you?" you probed shoving him roughly against the wall.
"it's me. pietro. i live next to you in the cell. i came here as a volunteer with my twin sister wanda. you are here against your will. they found you when you were little and never let you leave. they hurt you every day, they aren't good people. trust me, please. it's me your friend," pietro rushed hoping to break through to you.
he felt your grip slightly falter as you looked him up and down. he couldn't make out the emotion in your face as you screwed and unscrewed your features together, internally fighting yourself. he wasn't scared, but nervous rather for your next move or action.
as pietro spoke the high-pitched noise continued to grow louder causing severe pain in your head. it made you nauseous and your vision would cloud with blinding bright light. you hung your head gasping for air as a vague image of a cell came to memory. you tried blinking it away but it would reappear, this time you'd see a man. the man you were pushing against the wall. his head was peeking through the cell wall. instinctually you pressed him further into the wall, pietro's shoulder blades started to ache. a new memory came and it was pietro holding your hand, his thumb caressing yours.
you shot your head up looking at the man. your eyes were glossy with tears from the pain you were experiencing. not just the physical pain of the intense noise but the mental pain as you tried to piece together who he was. his appearance was becoming familiar. his clothes, his broad shoulders, the facial hair on his jaw and upper lip, the cut on his eyebrow, the dark roots of his hair and the silver ends, and his eyes.
you dropped your grip and pietro's eyes contorted in confusion.
"like the sky..." you murmured.

warnings. 18+ only!! pietro’s dirty mouth, him being softly dominant, pinv, light choking? mdni
Pietro lays behind you, his chest pressed against your bare back, arms lazily draped over your middle as he keeps you close. His hips roll into you at a slow, steady pace, cock languidly slipping into your sopping pussy from behind. Filling and stretching you on his girth, veins skimming your ridges with the gentle strokes.
He extends his neck to reach around you, littering kisses in a patch under your ear, murmuring obscenities into your skin.
"Feel so tight like this," he whispers into your neck, voice hoarse. "Be quiet for me, hm?" he hushes, gesturing to your bedroom door.
His hand brushes down your stomach from behind, fingers grazing along your tummy, slowly working down to the sensitive little nub between your thighs. He skims over your clit to toy with you, teasing you just to hear you take that harsh, desperate inhale, that whiney noise he loves so much.
"Not yet, draga," he coos, a smirk lining his lips when he hears what he's after. "Can't have you letting go on me... not yet."
He slips his hand between the sticky skin of your thighs, separating them to manoeuvre and situate you as he pleases. He hooks his arm under your knee, pulling your leg up with him as he rests his palm on the base of your throat. The new angle letting his cock glide into you with more ease, your open hips allowing him more space to fill.
His grip merely tightens, palm comfortably placed over your throat - lightly holding you for support as he fucks up into you. Nice and gentle strokes as he peppers the back of your shoulder in featherlight kisses, lips skimming your hot skin.
"What's the matter, milovat? Dick got you falling in love?" he coos, bruising a kiss into the nape of your neck.
"No," you protest, head falling back into his - body going limp.
"No?" he teases, nipping on your earlobe, lightly nibbling it. "Liar."
"I know."
Pietro continues like that, slowly grinding up into you from below, cock grazing against your fluttering walls.

"Tony!" Steve shouted into the intercom. You rolled your eyes, your father was a few inches away from him, there was no need to shout. “I need you to deactivate the force field so I can get in!”
"Where's the please?" you heard your father’s voice, chuckling at his words.
"I need backup," Natasha's calm voice was clear, proving that everything the team was using was nothing less than top-notch Stark technology.
"Going!," You said, running towards her.
You quickly arrived, pulling out the gun Clint had given you, and began shooting at Strucker's soldiers. You hated the fact that you were not part of the main mission, forced to just shoot those useless soldiers.
Well, at least they had let you attend the mission. That was something.
"Be careful!" You hurried towards Nat, a soldier under Strucker's command almost cut her in half. She reacted and kicked him out. You fired a shot at another soldier and hit his face with your fist.
"Tony!" Cap shouted again. Will he ever stop yelling? "We need to get in now!"
"Damn wait, Rogers!" your father yelled at Steve.
"Language!"
You left Nat and headed to fulfil the part of the plan that had been assigned to you. You had to enter the fortress and get as much data as you could while Tony got the sceptre out of there.
"So we're going to ignore the fact that a minute ago Cap said 'language'?" your father asked indignantly.
"So it seems," you answered, panting. "Can I use the jetpack...?"
"No, not yet," Thor said as you heard him throw his hammer through the air, surely at a soldier. You sighed. Why run if you could fly?
You continued running until you almost reached the fortress. You started to slow down, if the security had not yet been deactivated you couldn't enter.
“Hey, uh… dad? How are we doing in regards to the security thingy?”
“Five minutes.”
“Alright” You went back to running, but almost immediately stopping as you heard a sound behind you. There was no need to turn around for you to know that there was someone behind you. Raising your hand, ready to shoot golden sparks out of it, you turned around and threw a beam of light at the person who was there.
With tremendous agility he managed to avoid it but just barely. You frowned, that person was fast, wayy much faster than you.
He was obviously altered, probably by Hydra. The team had talked about them before. "Guys," You whispered into the intercom, "I think I found one of those altered people, permission to attack?"
“Permission granted.” Steve said “Also Y/N, be careful.”
“I’ll try, '' you answered, smiling softly. You took the headset off and saved it in your suit pocket. Closing your eyes, you focused on just listening, your suit already glowing.
You heard the sound again and smiled. If you were right, this mutant would run in three seconds.

You opened your eyes as you saw him running in front of you. You raised your hand, this time managing to hit him with a golden beam. He was paralyzed in a bubble of light that restrained him. Now that he was still you took a good look at him. He was a boy of about twenty, maybe twenty one, years old. His hair was black but it was silver at the tips. His eyes were crystal blue, very very blue, and they reminded you of how it felt like to be cold. His, let’s be fair, very attractive face was turned into a grimace of surprise and anger, probably because you had been able to stop him. His arms, very muscular by the way, were at his sides with clenched fists.
He was clearly angry.
And he was clearly angry at you.
“What the- How the hell did you manage to stop me?! Get me out of this stupid bubble, silly girl!" he said with a thick accent.
You laughed at him. “You really couldn't think of any other insult than ‘silly girl’?” He stared at you. If he wasn’t so obviously mad, you would’ve thought he was checking you out. Analysing your features with pursed lips.
"Also, if I were you I would be way nicer" I asked, trying to make evident that I was the one with the power in this situation.
“Enlighten me, why would I do that?" he replied. Now that the initial adrenaline shock from stopping him had faded, you were able to recognise that his accent was, to say the least, kinda hot. You smiled.
"Because maybe then I'll consider taking you out of the bubble?" Your smile turned to a smirk as you sat on a broken log. You knew you were irritating him and it was simply hilarious to you.
"Get me out of here and then maybe I won't hurt you too badly!" he demanded.
You raised an eyebrow.
"Hmm, I don't think so," You had an ironic innocent smile on your face, which was clearly making him even more furious.
"Silly girl," he said.
"Again with the 6th grade insults," you replied.
"How do you even do this?" he said looking at the bubble.
"I don’t think I should give you any details about our top secret, superhero worthy technology. Or should I?," You told him as you turned on the intercom. This whole interaction has just turned your cockiness levels up and, to be honest, that was probably not the best thing for the mission.
"Dad?" You said and almost immediately you heard Tony Stark's voice speaking.
"Yes, darling?" he answered.
"Can I go in now?" you questioned, chuckling as you saw how the foreigner tried, without success, to get out of the golden bubble.
“Here’s the thing, I haven't gotten there yet, wait a minute. Oh, gentlemen!” More than five minutes had passed. You were about to make that fact evident when you heard an explosion.
“Oops sorry about that. Did it hit any of you guys?” Clint asked.
“Not me.” Steve answered.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” You turned around, neither the bubble nor the man were there. You slapped your forehead, knowing you should’ve focused more on that. A gust of wind came and out of nowhere and you were yanked to the floor, away from the fortress gate. Falling on your back, you cursed in pain.
"You didn’t see that coming?" said that russian voice mockingly.
"Stupid, silly boy," you said, standing up.
“Language!” Your father yelled mockingly  on the intercom, you laughed.
"What’s so funny?" You chuckled as you realised the man did not know that you weren’t paying attention to what he said
"Nothing to do with you actually," You said. “Also, on that subject…” You raised your hands, launching with your right hand what would be the distraction beam, he obviously dodged it and you took advantage of his distraction. With your other hand, you lifted him up and put him back inside the bubble. He rolled his eyes.
“Oh please, not again!” he shouted and you laughed.
“Come on, Sonic. Already caught you twice, are your powers failing or what?” You mocked.
“Hey!” You heard the speedster call you. Turning you around, you raised your eyebrows. "At least tell me your name. I mean you already caught me, I want to meet the one who achieved such a feat." You couldn’t hide that you liked the praise, even if it was ironic, as you smiled.
“Enlighten me, why would I do that?” You said, making fun of  what he said earlier.
“Don't be mean, printsessa," he said, smiling like a soap opera heartthrob. You rolled your eyes, hiding your smile.
"My name’s something I’m saving for next time we meet so…," You waved and turned around, leaving the man inside of the light bubble. You would be lying to yourself if you didn’t admit you kinda hoped you two did meet again. Someday. Something interrupts your line of thought: The mission.
"Can I come in now, damn it?" you shouted at the intercom. Steve growled but refrained from scolding you. Tony sighed.
“Friends, welcome to the Von Stucker resorts hotel, you can come in.” He said.
"It's about time!" Steve commented.
"Yes!" said a third voice, it was Clint. Following his voice was an explosion and a growl. It sounded like he was hurt.
"Barton?" You called, turning around to realise the bubble had broken, once again.
“He’s hurt!” said Nat's voice. “Could someone destroy that bunker? They know we are here!” she exclaimed.
Hulk's growl was heard everywhere, he had destroyed the bunker.
"Thank you,"
“Nat, take Barton to the helicarrier, Thor, you and I will stay here fighting against the last of Strucker's soldiers.” Steve was taking control of the situation, per usual.
"And for the love of God, watch your language!" your father said.
"I'll go in," you announced as you heard your father sigh.
You entered the fortress, there were soldiers running, but they didn't pay much attention to you. So you just kept walking, staying alert.
Suddenly, you heard footsteps behind you, they were almost imperceptible, but there they were.
You raised your hand, golden sparks flying from it, and turned around ready to attack. A red aura collided with the amber lights. It was strong, and you felt like it wanted to get into your head. The owner of the scarlet red aura was a girl, refined features, her hair was brown, and her eyes were… strangely grey?
She reminded you of someone.
Ignoring her attempts to enter your mind, you shot a blast, making the girl stumble. Her aura was cut off as she flew against a wall.
"So there’s more mutants huh?" You grumbled. She looked at you, clearly annoyed.
The girl raised her hand and you raised yours.
She was staring at you, a completely blank stare.
Until she smiled.
Everything was strange. You knew that girl had managed to sneak into your mind, but you didn't know what exactly she was doing.
You turned around, attempting to shoot her, but no light appeared. You didn’t have your suit anymore, in fact, you were no longer in Strucker's fortress. You were in New York.
You heard a scream and looked above you, which was where the sound was coming from.
Oh surprise, you were underneath one of those Chitauri ships that the Avengers had defeated a long time ago, before you were even part of the team.
The rest of New York, however, did not seem to have lived that before. It seemed like the team hadn't made it yet.
"It's too tall Tony, stop it!" You heard Steve yelling at your dad. You turned to look at them, but weren’t able to see them anywhere.
“A few more metres” Your father whispered. If the timeline was the same, he must have been taking the missile that was currently heading to New York into space, passing through the gaping hole in the sky where the Chitauri were sneaking onto the planet.
If that was true, then Nat was to be with Dr. Selvig on the roof of Stark Tower trying to remove the Tesseract to close the portal.
Your dad was saving the world, everything was going great, why was the girl showing you this?
“TONY COME OUT NOW!” Steve shouted. The portal was closed, and Tony was not falling where he should have been falling.
Nerves and fear were taking over you as your hands itched and tears gathered in your eyes.
You tried to remind yourself this wasn't happening.
It wasn’t real.
However, it felt so real.
The emotions felt so real.
The portal closed, but your father did not fall through.
Wake up!
"Y/N!" Tony's voice shouted from a distance. As you opened your eyes, you jumped from where you were leaning.
Back in Strucker's fortress, and your dad was there, next to you. You sighed with relief.
"What happened, sunshine?" he said, worried by the tears that were coming out of your eyes. You smiled and hugged him.
"You don't know how happy I am that you are here, Dad," You told him as you let him go. He smiled fondly.
“So am I. We are going now. We have a sceptre to steal.”
You nodded and walked next to him. He left through the secret door that J.A.R.V.I.S discovered and you stayed behind, trying to get as much information as possible from the fortress.
“J.A.R.V.I.S, I want you to get all the information, whatever it is. Plans, documents, notes. And send a copy to Fury, he'll be pleased to know that Hydra's dirty secrets are in his mail.”
“Right away, Miss Stark.”
You sat on the floor, thinking about what that girl had projected on your brain.
None of it made sense.
Your father came out with the sceptre. There was a weird vibe to him. He looked… strange, sadder in comparison to minutes before.
He took your hand and you left the fortress.
Once you got on the helicarrier, you decided to sit next to Cap. He was looking at Clint, who was lying on an improvised stretcher, all of you were sure that when Dr. Cho arrived, she would take good care of him.
"Good job, Y/N," Nat told you from behind. You turned your head to smile at her.
But your smile didn't reach your eyes, still somewhat dazed by the vision.
When you arrived, you went straight to the lab to review all the information collected from Strucker's base, perhaps this way you would be able to find out who these altered people were and if he was single there were more.
“J.A.R.V.I.S, tell Mr. Stark that I will be late for the party. I'll be investigating,”

Notes:
I've decided to stop apologising for the long breaks between chapters of this fic. I love this fic, but my mission has always been to update it sporadically, whenever I feel like. That hasn't changed.
I hope you enjoy this chapter, and have a happy New Year.
warnings for daddy kink (if you're not into that, I recommend you stop reading at the *** so you don't miss any plot), spanking, mentions of trauma/PTSD, nightmares, anxiety, maybe being a tad co-dependent, scars, mentions of past injury, using spit as lube, rough sex, neck grabbing, slut shaming, possessiveness, overstimulation, creampie

Pietro had been acting edgy all day, so it wasn’t exactly surprising when you were jolted awake by a hand grabbing at your arm. You blinked, disoriented, as the world around you came into focus.
Your boyfriend was sitting upright, staring off into the distance, unseeing. His chest was rising and falling heavily. The thin strip of moonlight that fell from between the curtains was enough to see how pale he looked.
“Pietro?” you murmured sleepily, and he looked down at you suddenly, like he hadn’t realised you were there. His grip loosened on your arm at once, and he grimaced.
“I’m sorry, my love. Did I hurt you?”
You were tempted to say, “I’ve had worse,” but you had a feeling that that wouldn’t make him feel any better.
Instead, you said, “I’m okay. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
“Pietro…” Sleepiness had worn away at the tact you usually would’ve used in a situation like this. “What’s wrong?”
You understood that Pietro would tell you things in his own time. He would share his trauma when he was ready to share it. You knew all of this logically. That didn’t mean that it wasn’t sometimes frustrating. He knew everything about you, but you still felt like you’d barely scratched his surface.
And right now, you were tired, and you just wanted him to be okay.
He let out a little frustrated noise. “It’s nothing. Just a nightmare. Don’t worry about me.”
“Baby…” You stroked a hand up his forearm. His posture relaxed a little. “Lie down with me?”
“I…” He hesitated for a moment. “I don’t want to fall back asleep.”
You knew the feeling. Sometimes you had to stay awake long enough to chase the nightmare away fully before you could bear to go back to sleep. You understood that.
“You won’t. Let’s just talk, okay?”
He didn’t respond verbally. Instead, he shuffled backwards so that he was half-propped up against the headboard. You supposed that was a reasonable compromise.
Wrapping both arms around him, you leant into him, squishing your cheek against his stomach.
“You can sleep,” he said softly, carding his fingers through your hair. “I don’t mind.”
“I’m not tired,” you lied. In truth, you just didn’t want to leave him to deal with his nightmare alone. “What was your nightmare about?” You felt his muscles tense against the skin of your face.
You were ready for him to brush you off, but instead, he said, “The usual. The night my parents died. The battle in Sokovia. The car explosion.”
His hand had drifted down to rest against the back of your neck. You could feel him tracing a scar there, the remnants of the damage that that explosion had done to your body. Tony had done an excellent job with the skin grafts, but your scars were still visible if you knew where to look.
“You still dream about that?” you asked, trying to keep your tone light.
“I dream about every time I almost lost you, or Wanda. It has happened… far too many times.”
You shifted so that you could sit up and look him in the eye. His hand fell from your neck, so you grabbed hold of it and guided it back up there.
Under the moonlight, you took in the sight of him. Although he looked nowhere near as exhausted as he had done at the beginning of your vacation, he did look sad. His eyes were glassy. In that moment, you wanted to destroy everything and anything that had ever hurt him.
“I dream about the battle of Sokovia too,” you breathed. “I barely knew you then, but I knew I didn’t want you to die.”
“I was a little bit obsessed with you from the moment I first saw you,” he said, huffing out a laugh. “It would be embarrassing if you weren’t my girlfriend now.”
“Really?”
“Really. I thought it was just a stupid crush that would go away with time, but then you had to go and save my life, and I knew I was screwed.”
You giggled, feeling suddenly very warm. His skin was hot everywhere it was touching yours. You pressed your lips to his. His free hand skimmed up under your vest to rest on the bare skin of your waist.
“For the record,” you murmured. “I thought you were an arrogant asshole when we first met. An annoyingly sexy, arrogant asshole.”
He tipped his hand back to look at you again, a half-smirk on his lips. “And now?”
“Now? Now you’re my annoyingly sexy, arrogant asshole.”
He pinched your hip and you squealed, jolting forward so you were half in his lap. Your thigh brushed over his crotch, and it was clear that his dick was starting to take an interest in the conversation.
You pressed your hand against him through his boxers, watching the way his eyes fluttered shut momentarily. He wasn’t hard yet, but he was getting there.
You shifted yourself into a kneeling position and slid your hand under his waistband.
“Prinţesă- Ah.” He cut himself off with a gasp.
“What was that?” you asked, batting your eyelashes at him innocently. The hand that was at your waist moved around behind you and slipped down the back of your underwear, squeezing your ass hard. It was your turn to gasp.
“You’re a little slut, aren’t you?” he murmured, kneading at the dough of your ass with one hand. You tipped forward, pressing your forehead against his as you redoubled your grip on his cock, sliding your hand up and down. “Just wanted to play with my cock, didn’t you?”
What you really wanted to do was suck him off, but he didn’t seem keen on relinquishing his grip on you, and the lube was out of reach, so you let go of his cock for just long enough to spit in your hand, and then went back to jerking him off.
“You can’t get enough of it,” he said, and then kissed you, drawing you closer to him. You were straddling his thigh now, using both hands to jerk him off, and he was letting out little breathy moans that were driving you insane.
You rocked down against his thigh, feeling the muscles flex and move to meet you. He was tugging at your vest. You reluctantly let go of his cock to let him yank it off you with more force than was strictly necessary.
He was kissing you hungrily now, hands cupping your breasts. You grasped his cock again, jerking him off as you bounced up and down on his thigh.
Without warning, he hooked one arm under your thigh and pulled you closer to him until you were straddling his crotch. He slid your panties to one side, and, when his searching fingers found you dripping wet, he grabbed hold of his cock to line it up with your entrance.
You didn’t miss a beat. You took him in one thrust, barely pausing to adjust to feeling of him inside you. You were really fucking wet. He held onto your hips, pounding up into you with reckless abandon.
Tangling your hands in his hair, you rode him, clinging to him like your life depended on it. He pressed his face into your neck, licking and sucking and biting at the skin there, drawing deeper moans from you.
“Fuck. Fuck, I’m close,” you murmured, and Pietro took that as his cue to speed up, biting down hard on the skin of your neck. The moan you let out was frankly embarrassingly loud, but Pietro seemed to enjoy it.
“Mine.” His voice rumbled over the skin of your neck. You felt his stubble scratching at the sensitive area, but it was the authoritative timbre of his voice that pushed you over the edge.
“Pietro,” you keened, voice high and strung out. He held onto you, continuing to bounce your body up and down on his cock even as all the strength went out of you. You grabbed his shoulders, pressing your lips to his as his thrusts stuttered.
“Oh my god,” he moaned, and then let out a string of what you assumed were expletives in Sokovian. He came inside you.
“Fuck,” you murmured again.
“Fuck,” Pietro agreed. He wrapped his arms around you and rolled you over so that his cock slipped out of you, and you were lying beside him again. You nuzzled into his neck.
Neither of you spoke for a while. After a few minutes, you heard his breathing slow, and you knew that he had fallen asleep. You squeezed him gently, hoping to protect him from bad dreams.
*
When you awoke, the sun was out, and the bed beside you was cold. You sat up, confused. You were sweaty and sticky from the sex and a hot night’s sleep, so you got to your feet, snagging one of Pietro’s t-shirts from the floor, as well as a fresh pair of panties.
You dressed yourself quickly, and stepped out into the living room. Pietro wasn’t there. You wandered into the kitchen, and found a note on the counter.
Gone for a run – P x
That was interesting. At home, Pietro ran a lot. It was a part of his training. But since you’d been on vacation, both of your workouts had been limited to walks on the beach, the occasional sparring session, and vigorous sex.
Figuring he couldn’t be long, you went and showered. Once you were clean and presentable, you went back into the living room.
Pietro still wasn’t back. You felt a prickle of anxiety, hot on the back of your neck. Quietly, trying to calm your nerves, you made yourself breakfast.
Pietro was fine, you were sure. There wasn’t much that could hurt your superspeedy boyfriend. Most of the time.
Still.
You went to your nightstand. Your phone was in the top drawer. You hadn’t used it much since you’d been away. You were trying to limit your social media use, given the shitstorm you’d left behind you.
You tried to switch it on, but it was out of battery, so you unfurled your charger and plugged it into the wall. The screen lit up with the low battery symbol. It would probably be a few minutes before it was usable. That was fine.
You went to Pietro’s nightstand next, where you knew he’d been keeping his phone. It was missing. You supposed he must’ve taken it with him. That was good. You could text him, once your phone was charged.
You shut the drawer and left the room. Through the windows, you could see the trees blowing in the wind. Your heart was starting to speed up. You had no good reason to feel the way you did. Pietro was probably fine. The weather outside didn’t mean anything.
You checked your phone again. It still wouldn’t turn on. Feeling jittery, you made yourself a cup of tea and went out onto the porch.
The wind was cold and it was starting to drizzle, but still, you sat down at the little table and sipped at your tea. Your cup was half-empty and you were starting to shiver from the cold when a familiar silver blur zoomed towards you, and then Pietro was standing on the porch, looking down at you.
“What are you doing out here?” he asked, a little amused. He was dressed for a run, wearing grey sweatpants that hugged him in all the right places. His vest was stuck down with sweat and his hair was wild, from the running or the rain, you couldn’t tell. He looked very hot.
“Enjoying the fresh air.” You didn’t want to admit that you’d been worried about him. It was silly that his absence had made you so anxious.
“You’re shivering.” You shrugged. “Why don’t we go inside and watch a movie or something?”
“That sounds nice,” you said shyly.
“I need to shower first… Care to join me?”
A smile spread across your face, and you drained the rest of your tea in two gulps. He held out a hand to you, and you let him lead the way.
*
In spite of his run, Pietro was restless and fidgety while watching the movie. It was some romcom from the early 00s. He wasn’t really paying attention. It was hard to focus with you sitting beside him, looking like a wet dream, even though you were just wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants.
You didn’t say anything as he insinuated himself further and further into your space, but you accommodated him, letting your fingers brush lightly through his hair and down his arms. Your touches were affectionate, not sexual, but they still made him feel hot.
“Are you feeling okay, baby?” you asked.
“Of course. Never better. Why?”
“You seem distracted.”
He hesitated. After a moment, he picked up the TV remote and turned the volume all the way down. He could’ve muted it with one button, but watching the volume bar shrink gave him a moment to gather his thoughts, and figure out how to tell you what had been on his mind.
“I never thought I’d say this,” he said, “But I kind of miss New York. This place is beautiful, and getting to be alone with you has been the best couple of months of my life.” You were looking at him, your expression unreadable. Sometimes he envied Wanda always being able to know what people were thinking. “But I think I will be ready to go home soon. I can’t keep hiding from my responsibilities forever.”
“You know…” You shifted closer to him. Instinctively, he put an arm around your shoulders. Your face was so close to his that he could feel your breath on his cheek. “You don’t have to be an Avenger, if you don’t want to. It’s a hard life. You already have more than your fair share of trauma.”
Pietro exhaled. “I like being an Avenger,” he said. “And without the Avengers, I never would’ve met you.”
You moved towards him and he opened his arms to you, letting you crawl into his lap. You pressed a kiss to his lips, his cheek, his jaw, and then hugged him close, burying your face into his neck.
“You have me,” you said, turning your face so your words wouldn’t be muffled. “Wherever you go, whatever you do now, you have me.”
“I have been texting with Wanda for the past few days,” he admitted. “Everything seems to be going fine in New York. Quiet. And…” Again, he hesitated. He was glad you weren’t looking at him right at that moment, because that would’ve made it all the harder to get the words out. “She told me that she’s been seeing a therapist. For the grief. And trauma. She said I should talk to one too.”
You shifted back to look him in the eyes. The judgment he feared was nowhere to be found. Your expression was open, curious.
“And what do you think?” you asked, carefully. “Do you want to?”
“I think… I think it might be a good idea, yeah.”
You nodded. “That’s good. I’m glad Wanda is getting help. And I’m happy you’re thinking about it too. You deserve to be happy.”
Pietro’s relief was palpable. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him. He smiled against your lips, hooking his hands under your thighs and dragging you towards him so you were straddling his lap. You let out a little gasp, and he dove into your neck, laying tender kisses down the column of your throat.
“So…” you said, trying to sound casual but biting back a moan. “When do you want to go home?”
“I don’t know. A few days. I want to wreck your pretty pussy a few more times before we go back to New York.”
Your face flushed with heat. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
His teeth grazed against a sensitive patch of skin and you moaned softly, grinding down against him.
“Bedroom?” you asked.
***
He nodded, wrapping his arms tight around your waist so he could stand up without putting you down. You tightened your legs around him as he carried you to the bedroom.
He dropped you onto the bed unceremoniously, his hands tugging at the hem of your t-shirt. You let him pull it off over your head, revealing your bare breasts.
You looked so pretty like this, your tits still bouncing from the impact of landing on the bed, your soft skin laid out for him like the most delicious buffet he’d ever seen. He couldn’t help but bury his face between your tits, relishing the soft gasp that fell from your lips as he did so.
It was times like this that Pietro had to make a conscious effort to slow down during sex. If he wasn’t careful, this could all be over in five seconds.
He grabbed you by the hips and pulled you towards him so you could grind against him. Your head tipped back against the bedsheets, releasing a ragged moan as he swirled his tongue around your nipple. You were always so responsive to his touch.
He swapped to the other nipple after a moment, holding you down against the bed. You were rocking against him, desperate for some friction, and that was when he decided to put you out of your misery.
He sunk to his knees, tugging on your sweatpants and panties. Realising what he was doing, you lifted up your hips to help him pull them off.
Now you were naked in front of him, unabashed and staring at him with undeniable lust in your eyes. That was something he’d grown to love. At first, you’d been a little shy about him looking at you and touching you. Now you were impatient for him to make you cum over and over again, and he was happy to oblige.
He spread your legs, splaying you out in front of him, and starting kissing your inner thigh. Your skin was so soft. It was something he marvelled at.
Usually, you kept your pubes pretty neatly trimmed, shaved and/or waxed, but you hadn’t maintained them much in a while, and they were starting to grow out. Truthfully, Pietro didn’t mind what you did with them, but he liked them a little bit messy, because it meant that you trusted him.
He parted your lips with his fingertips and moved in to kiss your clit.
“Piet,” you whined, and he decided to be nice, because he was magnanimous like that.
You were already so wet. His tongue dipped between your folds, tasting you. He would never get tired of this. The way you tasted, the pretty noises that you made, the way your skin felt against his.
He pushed his tongue inside you, meeting minimal resistance. As his nose bumped against your clit, you gasped and ground back against him.
He pressed his forearm against your stomach, pushing you back down into the bed and holding you still. You let out a shaky exhale as he wrapped his lips around your clit again.
“Pietro…” you breathed. Your fingers found their way into his hair again, fingernails scratching lightly across his scalp. His eyes drifted shut. He let himself get lost in you, just feeling the movements of your body and the pleasure of your hands tugging at his hair.
When he opened his eyes, he had no idea how much time had passed, but you were practically mewling, your knees drawn up either side of his head, torn between holding his mouth against your pussy and pushing him away.
He didn’t stop. Your toes curled against his shoulders, your whole body trembling as he made you cum one more time.
This time, he let you go. Your body went limp as he pulled away from you, wiping at his mouth with the back of his hand. He was covered in traces of you, but it wasn’t enough. He needed to be inside you right now.
At superspeed, he stripped off his clothes. From his perspective, you were lying on the bed, almost perfectly still, a freezeframe of a moment between breathes. Slowly, your hands made their way down onto the bed to push yourself upright. He paused, letting time normalise again.
Your hair was wild and your eyes had a mischievous glint as he crawled over you, ready to fuck you until you forgot your own name. He had almost closed the distance between you when you put your hands on his shoulders, stopping him.
“Can we try something?” you asked, smiling at him almost shyly.
“Anything for you, my love.”
“Will you spank me?”
Pietro felt his cock give a little jump. The last time you’d tried spanking, he hadn’t been able to go through with it, because you were in an emotional state and he was scared that you’d wanted him to hurt you for real. Now, with you comfortable and post-orgasmic, staring up at him with love in your eyes, he couldn’t resist you.
“Are you sure?”
You nodded. “Please?”
As always, you had your safeword. You leant up to kiss him, but he grabbed your hips and rolled you onto your stomach. You let out a choked off gasp as he climbed on top of you, wrapping an arm around your neck from behind.
His forearm was pressed to your neck, as if he was choking you, but without the actual pressure applied. He knew you liked when he took control like this, and from the way your breathing hitched, he was pretty sure you were enjoying this.
He laid one hand against your ass. “Is this okay?” he murmured, lips almost pressed to your ear.
“It’s perfect,” you breathed. He slapped at the fat of your ass, watching the way the flesh jiggled. You moaned softly. He did it again, and you whined, “harder,” so he obliged. He loved your ass, and he was especially loving the way it bounced with every spank.
You were practically grinding against the bed, babbling a bunch of horny nonsense that was making drops of pre-cum leak from Pietro’s cock. One word stood out from the rest. Pietro paused.
“Did you just call me daddy?” he asked breathlessly.
“What?” Your eyes snapped open, and you turned, looking at him over your shoulder.
“You just called me daddy.” Pietro gave you a shit-eating grin. You started trying to stammer through an explanation, but he pressed a thumb to your lips, silencing you. “That’s really fucking hot.”
Your eyes were wide. “You like it when I call you daddy?” you asked, your lips forming the words against his thumb. Before he could respond, you grabbed his hand with both of yours, sucking his thumb into your mouth and looking up at him through your eyelashes.
“Fuck,” Pietro groaned as your tongue swirled around his thumb. If he didn’t put his cock in you right now he was pretty sure he was about to explode.
“Do you wanna fuck me, daddy?” you asked, eyes glinting.
Pietro swore again. He spanked you hard, making you yelp, and before you’d had time to recover, he’d rolled you onto your back and lined his cock up with your entrance.
“Prinţesă,” he murmured, and then he pushed inside you. You released his hand and wrapped an arm around his neck again, your free hand affectionately brushing the hair away from his forehead. He had never felt so in love.
Time slowed down. Your head was tipping back slowly, revealing your neck to him. He was torn between kissing your neck and watching the way your eyes rolled back in your head. Your pussy was wrapped around him, so tight and wet and warm. He would never stop marvelling at the way you invited him inside you. He could stay here forever.
He watched your face. He was desperate to start thrusting, but he was still going so fast, and he didn’t want to hurt you. He took a few deep breaths.
Time was starting to normalise again, and you were looking at him expectantly.
Just as he was about to start moving, you batted your eyelashes at him, and said, “Fuck me, daddy?”
How could he resist that?
He started thrusting, feeling your body clench around him. Your eyes fluttered shut, and he didn’t know where to look, or touch. He wanted all of you.
Your boobs were bouncing with every thrust, looking so juicy and enticing. He squeezed them, kissed them, and then moved back to your neck. Your legs were wrapped around his hips, encouraging him deeper, and it must’ve felt good because each thrust was fucking a moan from your lips.
He was on his knees, his forearms either side of your head. You opened your eyes and looked at him, a smile playing on your lips. You guided one of his hands to your throat, so he wrapped it around your neck loosely, watching the pleasure overtake you.
You were about to come. He could feel it.
“You like it when daddy fucks you like this, don’t you? You’re daddy’s little slut, aren’t you?”
“Pietro,” you squealed, tightening around him. He clung to you, fucking you through your orgasm, letting the pleasure wash over you like a wave.
His whole body felt hot. He was torn between wanting to cum and wanting to stay buried inside you forever. Your fingers were in his hair again, tugging and scratching at his scalp.
“Cum for me, daddy,” you purred, and he couldn’t hold back any longer. He felt his balls tighten as he released inside you, a few more deep thrusts to fuck all of his cum into you. You exhaled shakily, and then patted his arms, signalling for him to release you.
As he pulled out, he couldn’t help but look at the way his cum dripped out of you. Your pussy was so pretty, especially when it was coated with the evidence of what the two of you had just done.
“Pietro,” you whined softly, making grabby hands at him. You could wash up later, he decided. He crawled over you, hugging you to him, and then rolled so that you were lying against his chest. You nuzzled into his neck.
“How was that?” he asked. You made a non-descript noise of pleasure, which drew a chuckle from him. “Yeah? Me too.” When you didn’t say anything else, he said, “I’m gonna get you a glass of water.”
You groaned, but didn’t argue. He detangled himself from you carefully, and then sped into the kitchen and returned with the water so fast that you hadn’t even had time to sit up.
He knelt beside you as you did so, passing you the glass as soon as he was sure you weren’t about to drop it. You drank deeply, eyes falling shut as a drop of water rolled down your chin. He wiped it away with his thumb.
“Do you need anything else?” he asked. “A snack?”
“I’m fine,” you said, half-chuckling as you set your glass down on the nightstand.
The two of you got back under the covers together. This time, you faced each other, instead of cuddling.
“So how was it for you? Really?” you asked.
“Seeing you turned on turns me on,” said Pietro. “And you have a very nice ass.”
You giggled, covering your mouth with one hand. “And the daddy stuff?”
“It was hot,” he said. “But I think I prefer it when you call me Pietro. I like the way you say my name. So maybe only sometimes.”
“Uh-huh.” You leant into him so that your faces were inches apart. “That’s good to know. Te iubesc, Pietro.”
“I love you too, prinţesă.”

Hi friends! Apologies for the wait on this chapter but I hope you enjoy nonetheless <33
pairing: Pietro Maximoff x OFC
warnings: tooth-rotting fluff, Pietro and Nadia being Pietro and Nadia, some spice (only a little: like half a chili pepper), cursing, jealous Pietro.
The sound of running water filled my ears before I turned off the bathroom tap, drying my hands and face. When I put the towel down Pietro was leaning against the doorframe signature smirk across his lips.
“What?”
He shook his head, pushing off the wall to approach me. His hands braced on the counter, and he pulled us both forward so that I was pressed between him and the vanity. I could feel his breath on the side of my face as he leaned down toward me. He pressed a kiss to my cheekbone before turning my face by the chin to look at him. “This is all I can think about.” Before I could respond he was planting a scorching kiss against my lips, pressing me more firmly to the bench. The warmth that was always emanating from his body pressed into my back through the fabric of our clothes as he kissed down my neck, nipping at my shoulder. I leaned my head to the side giving him better access. Pietro’s hands squeezed my hips, one moving to the front to fiddle with the hemline of my t-shirt. My heart was racing as his hand slipped beneath the fabric, smoothing across my stomach and up my ribs to rest just below my bra. “Is this what you want?” He murmured against my ear as I threw my head back. “You want me to touch you?” I felt incapable of words then. Pietro turned me to face him swiftly before lifting me and slipping me onto the bench behind us, his body pressed to mine as he stood between my legs. “Tell me what you want, Prinţesă.” In a moment of confidence, I lifted my shirt over my head, tossing it across the room and grabbing his hand to place it over my heart that was thrumming in my chest. He moved impossibly closer, his hand sliding to cup my breast over my bra, his lips were on me again almost instantly, trailing wet kisses down my collarbone and sternum.
“I want- I want…” He spread my legs, falling to his knees between them and that was when I woke up, launching upright in bed and clenching the duvet to my chest. “What the fuck?” I muttered to myself running a hand through my hair. I could not believe I had just dreamed that I must have been going insane. Try as I might it seemed impossible to part with the images that had invaded my slumber, a cold shower didn’t even do the trick.
I resolved that perhaps a run was in order to clear my head. Dressed and prepared to head off, I yanked the door to my room open rushing swiftly into the hall only to walk directly into someone. The collision almost had me stumbling but two warm hands holding my upper arms righted me. Pietro smiled sweetly at me and apparently that was enough to set my heart racing. “Good morning, Nadia, wherever are you off to in such a rush?” I swallowed hard as I looked at him, his hair was damp as though he’d just gotten out of the shower, he wore a blue and white crewneck sweatshirt, and it was enough to make me lightheaded. I was irritated, to say the least at my body’s ridiculous reaction to him.
“I… was going to go for a run.” It was quiet and didn’t sound anything like me. He furrowed his eyebrows a little.
“Is everything alright?” I nodded quickly, side-stepping him with a clenched jaw. The soft look in his eyes was too much to bear right now. “Liar.” He snickered, following closely behind me. “What’s wrong?”
I shrugged, not looking back at him but apparently that wouldn’t fly with him. He took ahold of my wrist gently, spinning me to face him and taking a step closer. I sighed exasperatedly. “Nothing’s wrong, really, I’m just tired.” I managed a little smile to appease him, though it came easier than I’d expected. It faltered, however, when he moved ever closer. He reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear, the corner of his lips upturned in the whisper of an earnest smile. He leaned down and kissed me softly, just once before pulling away. I leaned up, chasing his lips with my own and kissing him again.
“So, I’m assuming we’re still on the same page about the boyfriend, girlfriend thing?” My smile returned, brighter now as I nodded at him. “Good, glad we cleared that up.” His lips were on mine once again and I breathed a laugh against them. “You’re going for a run?”
I said yes.
He hummed. “Okay, I’ll come with you.” I tensed slightly, images of him pressed against me flickered through my mind. “… Or I don’t have to if you don’t want?”
God why was he so fucking considerate?!
“No, I do want you to!” I almost cringed at my words. Pietro raised an eyebrow at me. “I do want you to come with me.”
“You’re being very strange.” He hadn’t let up on me. From the door of my bedroom and the duration of our run he’d pestered me, encouraging me to tell him what was bothering me. “Please, draga mea.” My darling. I only ran faster. A streak whirled past me before stopping in my path. Pietro crossed his arms over his chest, watching me expectantly. I raised an eyebrow at him. “Tell me what’s going on.” He spoke firmly.
My hands fell over my hips, and I narrowed my eyes at the man before me. “I told you nothing is going on.”
That little smart-ass smirk made a home on his lips, and he took a step closer to me. “And I think you’re full of shit, so let’s try it again.”
“Or what?” I bit back. “What will you do?”
My sass had his smirk doubling in size, his eyes narrowing for a moment, before flickering down to my hands that remained settled on my hips. He crossed the space between us, stopping right in front of me. “What would you like me to do, Prinţesă?”
The moment he spoke that word my heart skipped, mind unable to stop thinking about his lips all over me. I dug my fingers into my sides, attempting to steel myself.
“You’re pissing me off.”
“Par for the course at this point, and you’re the one who wanted to be my girlfriend so...” He shrugged, eyes dipping to my lips momentarily. I couldn’t handle this proximity. There was the slightest sheen of sweat on his forehead and his hair had become tousled by the wind, falling a little messily around his eyes. “Tell me.” He urged yet again.
“Jesus Christ, Pietro! I just had a strange dream, alright?!”
He looked indescribably pleased with himself. “Okay.” He nodded. “Was it about me?” The tone he took was nothing if not teasing, an attempt to rile me up, lighten the tension but my brain seemed content to short-circuit the moment he’d spoken those words. My unwitting hesitation certainly did not go unnoticed by him and before I could defend myself, he was speaking again. “Oh my god, it absolutely was!” He was positively beaming at me then.
“No! No, it had nothing to do with you, idiot!”
“Was it dirty? What was I doing in the dream? Was I as handsome as I am in real life?” I groaned, pushing past him and picking up my pace again. “You’re going to have to run faster than that.” He appeared before me again, running backward so he could continue to taunt me. “Walk me through it, play-by-play, spare no detail. Was it the first time you’d dreamt of me? It must have been some dream for you to be acting so weird after.”
I shook my head, settling on ignoring him now. This only seemed to please him though, there was no winning here. He put his hands out to stop me once more. I rolled my eyes heavily, crossing my arms over my chest. “I’m getting sick of this conversation very quickly.”
“Okay, okay, just one more question and I’ll drop it.”
“Fine! What?” I asked exasperatedly.
“What were we doing in your dream?”
His voice dropped as he spoke; I swallowed heavily feeling a little light-headed. This was not okay, I wasn’t about to let him have all the power so I shifted gears, letting my weight fall to one hip and closing the distance between us, moving to my tip toes so I could brush my lips over his. His breathing stuttered a little and I could feel his heart racing as my hand landed on his chest. “I could tell you. Or…” I placed one small peck on his lips, pulling back just a little to see his eyes closed, lips chasing mine. “I could show you.” His lips parted and his hands found my hips.
“Nadia.” He leaned forward to kiss me, but I pulled back out of reach, prompting his eyes to open. He furrowed his eyebrows at me. “What-”
“One more question and you’ll drop it, right? Isn’t that what you said?” A look of utter betrayal and indignation crossed his features then, but I was running off before he could utter anything else.
I was laughing the whole way back to the compound, ignoring the streak the shot passed me partway back. When I arrived, Pietro stood on the grass, waiting with his arms crossed. “That was not very nice.”
“Well, you were the one who wanted to be my boyfriend.” I taunted, feigning a pouty face at him as I walked by.
“Oh, I see, you think you’re very funny.”
I walked into the kitchen with Pietro hot on my tail. The smell of cinnamon and freshly baked goods overtook me the moment I stepped into the room. Vision stood behind the counter, a baking tray in his hands. “Good morning, Nadia and Pietro.” He placed the tray down to reveal cinnamon rolls as he poured frosting over. I furrowed my eyebrows watching the strange man intently. “Would you like to try one?” He offered, looking back up at me and placing one of the desserts on a plate which he inched toward me.
“These are insanely good, Vis,” Sam spoke from the table, throwing the last bite of his roll into his mouth. I hesitantly approached the counter, inspecting the food before picking it up. It smelled divine but the idea of eating something baked by the peculiar humanoid creature before me was a little off putting. Before I could take a bite Pietro leaned over me, demolishing half the roll in a single mouthful. I narrowed my eyes at him as he grinned back, licking the icing from his lips slowly.
“You are pushing it,” I warned the silver-haired man who merely snorted in response.
“Ah, young love.” Tony sighed entering the room and stealing a cinnamon roll from the tray.
I bit into mine soon after, shocked by the explosion of flavor on my tastebuds. “Jesus that’s good.” I stuffed the cinnamon roll into my mouth before Pietro could steal anymore. “Do you even eat; how do you know how to bake?”
“I have no need to consume nutrients in the way humans do, though, I can simulate the ‘eating’ action if it would make you more comfortable.” There was silence between us for a moment as I stared blankly at him, unmoving. “And I used the internet to learn the recipe for these.”
“Okay.”
I turned around stiffly, wandering over to the table where Natasha sat, Pietro heading off to pester his sister. Approximately the second I sat down Nat was laying out possible options for what I would wear to the gala.
“There’s a strip of boutiques about a 30-minute drive from here, we can head over later today to have a look.” I nodded, taking a sip of my juice. “Also, I invited Wanda,” Natasha spoke so quickly that her words almost jumbled into one. I choked on my drink, coughing violently, and taking another sip to ease the discomfort. The look I gave her would have had a lesser woman cowering, but she didn’t even flinch under my glower. “Oh, do not even act like that, Nadia. I know you too well to be fooled by this whole act, you don’t hate her and I’ve had enough of the division, the girls need to stick together.”
I rolled my eyes, letting my head fall back with an exasperated sigh. “Why must you force the high road on me so often.”
The dress I selected was crisp white satin, one shoulder, with a slit that rose up to the apex of my thigh. Natasha shoved a pair of matching elbow-length gloves into my hands and would not hear any protest on the matter. Wanda and I had exchanged barely a sentence with one another on the drive here, it was strange. I didn’t really know what to say to her, how does one begin the journey to the high road? She fiddled with a sage green slip still on a hanger as I took a seat on the plush round ottoman that sat by the fitting rooms. I had felt her glancing at me from time to time as we waited for Nat to finish trying on her pile of dresses.
“Full disclosure, I know about you and Pietro.” I looked over at her then. “He didn’t tell me; I just know him too well and I might have dug around in his head a little to confirm my suspicions. Anyway, the point is, I know that you don’t exactly like me, but I think you’re good for him and his happiness is the only thing that matters to me, so I just wanted to say I’m really happy you have each other.”
“Trust is not something that comes particularly easy to me, and we did not start on a very positive foot. I don’t dislike you, Wanda, but I also don’t trust you.”
She nodded a merciful look in her eyes. “I understand, and I don’t blame you.”
“But… I am willing to start anew. What is the expression? A clean slate?” Her eyes lit up at my words, the corners of her lips upturning. “I cannot promise that I will ever trust you,” I added. “But we can try to start over if that’s what you want.”
Her expression was soft, gratitude and relief shining in her eyes. “Hi, I’m Wanda.”
I almost laughed at the gesture. This was pretty ridiculous, and I could not help but think back to the day in the shipyard. The debilitatingly traumatic memories she’d forced me to relive, the feeling of the cold concrete against my palms as I begged to leave the mind prison, she’d locked me in. The thought made me hesitate, a voice in the back of my head screaming at me to turn my back and continue the cold shoulder routine. She’d proven she couldn’t be trusted, why should I give her another chance? However, despite that, despite my reservations and distrust I silenced the voice, swallowing heavily and meeting her eyes once more. “Nice to meet you, Wanda, I’m Nadia.”
“Oh my god, you guys have got to see this dress!” Natasha called from the fitting room.
Some of us elected to stay in the city for the gala, rather than travel from the compound on the night of the event. I had no strong opinion on either option as long as we got this night over quickly and as painlessly as possible. I’d attended these fundraisers before, the cause was good and completely not what I took issue with. The part that I loathed was being forced to schmooze with the New York elite as they pretended to care about the poor and disenfranchised. The whole thing felt disingenuous, and I’d rather steer clear of it altogether, but I would have no such luck. Unfortunately for me being a public figure came as a package deal with this whole Avenger thing. I’d managed to mostly avoid it until now.
I sighed exasperatedly as I sipped from the champagne that Natasha had poured for me whilst she did my hair. “Don’t be so dramatic, it’ll be nice to have a night out, and you love the city.” I met her eyes in the mirror before rolling mine heavily.
“Why are you so set on this?”
“Because I think it will be a nice change of pace for us all. A chance to let our hair down and have a moment of normalcy.”
“In other words, you’re doing this to avoid thinking about something else… someone else?”
She pulled my hair a little harder than necessary, causing me to scowl at her reflection. She didn’t even pretend to be innocent as she glanced up to meet my eyes for a split second. Her face pulled into an expression of distaste. “And I thought you didn’t understand people.”
The corners of my lips upturned, and I shrugged a little. “I don’t, I just know you.”
She shook her head, remaining quiet for a long while. I watched her as she continued pinning and fiddling with strands of my hair. “Fury said they got a ping off the quinjet. It gives a radius of where its last location was. It could be a lead.”
“But?”
“He left for a reason, Nads, I’m not sure going after him wouldn’t be purely selfish.” I nodded slowly, taking a beat to process her words. I didn’t really know what the solution was, what would make her happiest in the long term because part of me wanted to tell her to throw logic to the side and go after him but the other part of me agreed with what she was saying. Going to find him when he obviously wanted to be alone may not have been the best course of action, but in the same breath I didn’t want her to get stuck in time; unable to move forward because she was too caught up. “So maybe we just wait him out? Circle a date some time from now and if there’s still no word from him by then we go find him.” She placed a hand on my shoulder for a second, still looking down at my hair, but I knew she’d heard me. “I heard you and Wanda talking at the boutique.” She unraveled the strand of hair she’d been curling. “It was nice what you did, very unlike you, but nice.”
“You don’t think I’m nice?” A cheeky grin spread across my lips as I met her eye in the mirror.
She breathed a laugh. “Truthfully, I think that you’re a little sweetheart who likes people to think she’s heartless. That being said, clean slates aren’t really you’re thing.”
“No, they’re not.” I watched her as she began to pin strands of hair back into a curly updo. “Perhaps I’m going soft.” I teased.
“Or someone has proven to you that it is okay to be a little more open.”
I rolled my eyes at her. “Okay, enough of the mushy, deep, and meaningful shit I beg it’s beginning to make me sick.”
“Yeah, definitely not getting soft.” She hummed gesturing that she was done with my hair. I checked her handy work in the mirror nodding approvingly at the hairstyle. “Jesus, you look good, it’s really very difficult to get ready around you when you look like that.”
“Oh, shut up, look at yourself, woman.” She glanced in the mirror nodding as if she saw my point and smoothing her hands down her black dress. I giggled at her antics, adjusting the buckle of my shoe and doing one final check of my outfit before approaching the door.
When the elevator doors opened the first thing I saw was the back of his head, silver hair neatly styled atop. The second my heels clicked against the ground he spun around to face me, stiffening almost instantly. My heart rate spiked as his eyes traveled down to my feet before dragging ever so slowly back up my form, before finally meeting my gaze, eyebrows raised, and lips parted. He looked like something out of a dream; literally. He was in a midnight blue tuxedo that fit him like a glove. I’d never seen him so dressed up before I realized. I liked it… a lot. Words did not come easily to me as I watched him approach at a glacial pace.
“I don’t think I should kiss you right now.”
“Why?” The word was out before I could stop it, breathy and quiet.
His lips upturned at my tone, though that glint remained present in his eyes. “Because if I do, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop.”
I couldn’t bite back the smile that was forming across my lips. My fingertips slid down his forearm, intertwining with his as I moved to kiss the corner of his mouth. “I like you’re suit.”
The drive to the venue consisted of both of us stealing glances at each other and smiling at our laps like school children. As much as I found it absurdly childish behavior – I couldn’t seem to stop. “So, what exactly is a gala?” He finally spoke up.
I rolled my eyes at the reminder. “It’s like a charity, fundraiser thing.”
“Is that not a good thing?” I shrugged at his words. “Why do you hate the idea so much.”
“In theory, yes, it’s a good thing. In practice, it’s an antiquated ceremony for the wealthy to talk about how good of people they are.” One side of his mouth lifted with amusement. “And besides, I hate most things, so it’s not exactly a high bar.”
“Not me though.” He teased, rolling his head on the headrest to face me. I raised an eyebrow at him. “You don’t hate me… you like me too much.” My eyes rolled again, though a little smile broke out across my lips.
The chandelier hung in the center of the room painted the walls in a yellow glow. Pietro scanned the quickly filling room as we entered, though he seemed more interested in the art that hung from the walls rather than the company. I turned to him then. “If I’m going to get through this, I’m going to need hard liquor.”
He laughed at my words. “I’m going to use the toilet; I want to know if it’s as fancy as the rest of this place.”
I shook my head, breathing a laugh as I split from his side and approached the bar. “Scotch on the rocks please.”
The bartender nodded, beginning to pour ice into a crystal glass.
“I just worry about the detriment to the city, isn’t giving the money just encouraging laziness that leads to homelessness in the first place.” I scanned the men who stood just a few paces from me. Balding, middle-aged, Rolex on their wrists.
I sighed heavily, turning back to the bartender. “Actually, could you make it a double?”
A breathy laugh filled my ears, prompting me to glance toward the man who’d just stepped up to the bar, placing his drink down beside me. “My sentiments exactly.” He added, beginning to fold up the long cane that was in his hands. I didn’t recognize the dark-haired man peering in my direction from dark red lenses. Well, likely not actually looking, I realized putting together the context clues. I chose to hum dismissively in place of an actual response. He smiled toward the ground, evidently not put off by my cold countenance. “Not a fan of these events I take it?”
“Oh, no, I love nothing more than listening to self-important old men speak.”
The man laughed again. “I’m guessing you’re Nadia?” I narrowed my eyes at him, leaning back a little in my seat and crossing my arms. “I know Tony Stark.” He clarified. “He told me to look out for you. Well, not look, but you know what I mean.”
The corners of my lips tugged upward just slightly, a very minuscule laugh falling from me. “Oh, so he warned you about me?”
“Not exactly, he might have mentioned you were something of a cynic.”
I rolled my eyes, thanking the bartender when he placed my drink before me. “Some say cynic, I say realist.”
His smile brightened. “I’m Matt, by the way.”
“Good for you.”
Truthfully, I was expecting him to walk away at that, yet he only laughed again. I did not understand what it was about me that made others think I was interested in chit-chatting. Perhaps it was my sunny disposition, or perhaps I smiled too much. “Okay, so Tony wasn’t bluffing.” He sat down beside me. “So, realist, why are you here if you hate it so much?”
“Because I was told by a very scary redhead that I didn’t have a choice.” He snickered at my answer. “I don’t exactly hear you jumping to the defense of this particularly cruel breed of torture, so why are you here?”
“I guess you could call it networking. My law partner and I are here on behalf of our firm.”
I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest and turning in my seat to face him. “Why are you still talking to me?”
His eyebrows rose slightly, and a startled chuckle fell from his lips. “Maybe I’m a masochist… or maybe I just like the sound of your voice.”
“Yes, she has a very nice voice.” Pietro appeared beside me, eyeing Matt, with a tight smile across his lips.
Matt tilted his head in Pietro’s direction, lips upturned as he sipped his drink. “I don’t believe we’ve met, I’m Matthew Murdock.” He held his hand toward a very tense man at my side. Pietro reached across me, his cologne overtaking my senses along with the warmth radiating from him, our eyes met for just a moment as he took my drink and downed it before turning back to Matt and finally shaking his hand. I looked between the two, mildly amused by the bizarre interaction.
“Pietro Maximoff.”
I raised an eyebrow at the way his voice sounded but he ignored the look. “Nice to meet you, Pietro. Nadia and I were just discussing our shared dislike of these events.” Matt said, gesturing around the room.
“Is that right?” Pietro’s hand moved to grip the back of my chair. “Well, apologies for interrupting such a fascinating conversation but I need to borrow Nadia.” Before Matt could respond, Pietro was heading toward the staircase.
I excused myself, attempting to contain my amusement as I followed the silver-haired man. He continued walking ahead of me until he reached a room off the hall of the second floor, where he pushed the door open and waited for me to enter. The room appeared to be a small lounge of some kind, with book-lined walls and a sitting area consisting of a chaise lounge and armchairs. I walked into the room, turning to watch him enter and close the door behind himself.
When he looked at me again his eyebrows were raised, and his mouth was drawn into a tight frown.
“What?”
“Are you serious?”
I sat on the arm of one of the armchairs. Easily one of the worst parts of this whole human empathy thing was caring so much what other people were upset about. I couldn’t deny though that when it was Pietro, I couldn’t stop caring. “Why are you acting strange?”
“Oh, I’m sorry were we not just in the same room? I leave you alone for 5 minutes and you’ve already got yourself an admirer.”
“Are you jealous?”
“Obviously. He was clearly flirting with you!”
I rolled my eyes at his words. “So?” I shrugged.
“So?!”
“I wasn’t flirting with him so what does it matter.”
Pietro’s jaw clenched and he paced before me. “It matters.” He shook his head; I could practically see the steam emanating from his ears. It made the tingling that was present in my belly intensify. “And you know what? It’s because of this damn dress! You look fucking devastating, of course, he’d flirt with you.”
I breathed a laugh. “Something tells me the way I look didn’t have much to do with it.”
He sent a sharp glare my way, evidently not amused. “You think this is funny?” He raised an eyebrow, stopping before me.
“Yes. Very.”
The air between us was electric as he moved closer, the corners of his lips quirking upward. “I don’t think it is.”
“Who knows Pietro, maybe it’s my dazzling personality, or innate approachability, it’s one of life’s mysteries I suppose.” I knew I was pissing him off, but that only made me want to keep going. “Why are you so mad?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because you’re my girlfriend so I don’t particularly like the idea of some guy thinking about you in that way.”
“And what way is that?”
His chest grazed mine as he took a step forward. “The way I think about you.”
“It doesn’t matter how he thinks of me, Pietro.” The muscle in his jaw feathered but I continued before he had the chance to protest. “It doesn’t matter because I don’t think of him in that way. I don’t think of him in any way.” He didn’t seem completely satisfied with this, so I decided to give a little more of myself, lay myself slightly barer before him. “How could I? when you already occupy so much space in my brain. It’s hard to even consider other men when I’m already completely obsessed with you.”
My thumb brushed over his cheekbone, bringing him down to press my lips against his, punctuating my words, branding us both with them. We were sharing the same air as we stood there, bodies not completely flush yet warmth travelled across my flesh. “You drive me insane, Nadia.” He clenched his hands at his sides, taking a step back from me.
I asked him what he meant.
“Don’t you understand that what you just said is exactly how I feel about you? Do you know what it does to me when you tell me that you feel the same way?” He shook his head. “It’s maddening.” I swallowed heavily, watching him run a hand through his hair before turning back to face me. “And don’t think that I’m completely over the flirting thing, I’m still annoyed.”
“Oh my god, Pietro.” My hands fell to my hips. “Grow up.” The moment I’d spoken I could practically feel the band of tension begin to snap, his eyes narrowed slightly, and he moved toward me once again.
He scoffed. “Say that again.” My heart was racing, lips curving upward a little. A quiet laugh fell from me.
I repeated myself and the air between us was pure electricity.
“You know what, Nadia? I might feel better if you told me about your dream.” It all happened very quickly, I moved to shove him in the chest, a vexed expression on my face. However, before my palms made contact, he’d snatched my wrists up and pressed them against the wall above my head. My back was flush with the cold surface, the air momentarily knocked out of me. His maneuver was not particularly forceful, but the underlying context had my chest rising and falling a little faster. I glanced up at our hands, watching his fingers intertwine with mine. His lips ghosted over mine and I found myself unwittingly arching toward him, bringing a soft smirk to his lips. “Is it still funny?”
“A little.” I breathed out, still taunting even when my body felt as though it was burning up. The laugh that left him was dry, frustration evident in his tone.
When he kissed me, it felt like life or death. Like my air supply was his as well and we both needed it to survive. I pushed my body toward his and soon he got the message, moving closer, using his chest to press me flush to the wall once more. I gasped slightly against his mouth as our bodies melded together. It was bizarre, the way I felt like I was melting into him so easily, but my muscles still stiffened, my body was defensive at the touches even when they weren’t ones that I disliked. My heart was racing, thumping so hard against my chest I could feel it in my ears. The first real tug of my arms against his grip had Pietro loosening his hold and setting my hands free. One went to the back of his head, threading through his soft, silver locks, the other gripped his shoulder. I could feel one of his hands at my ribs, sliding down to my hip. It was like everything shut off for a second when his fingers slid into the slit of my dress, grazing over my thigh. I tensed so completely that Pietro pulled back, for a second the air felt too thick to swallow. He whispered an apology to me, attempting to move his hand from my leg but I caught it before he could, placing my own over his and bringing it back to my thigh. I clenched my jaw, forcing my eyes to open and let the light in once more. He was the first thing I saw. I pressed my forehead further against his, gazing into his eyes and reminding myself that I wasn’t in danger, he wouldn’t hurt me. My heart returned to the pace it had been earlier, one of keen anticipation rather than discomfort. The tension in my muscles eased and he was waiting patiently for me to make a move, an indescribable softness in his blue eyes and then it was Pietro, and I was still a little afraid, but I was okay.
“I meant it the other day when I said that I wanted you to touch me.” I dragged his hand higher up my leg, the silky, white fabric of my dress sliding upwards, revealing more of my flesh to him.
“Fucking hell.” He breathed, head dipping toward the crook of my neck, not quite touching it though. He lifted my leg to sit over his hip and I wrapped my arm around the back of his neck. When he lifted his head, his nose grazed my cheek before he planted a small kiss against my lips again. He pulled away to gaze into my eyes, leaning against me. I looked right back, seeing myself reflected in his bright, beautiful eyes. It was there; right there, that I realized it. I was completely and utterly fucked.
