You think you know someone and then the World Cup knockout phase starts :(

Lmaoo yes, it's true, I'm an Argentina supporter through and through. Am I from Argentina? No. Do I much care about football? Not outside of the World Cup, no. But I'll be cheering those funky lil Albicelestes on every time lol. I used to follow cups like 2006 and 2010 more closely but all I care about now is Argentina getting that damn third title. (Though to be fair I was more of a Brazil supporter in 2006, if anything.)

I'm sorry about Brazil, that was rough buddy. Not as rough as 2014 dare I say, but rough. Is it vindication in some way that Argentina triumphed over Croatia? Who are you rooting for in the final? I don't care how big a feat it would be to defend their title I'm so vehemently against France winning lmao even if they weren't facing Argentina.

If only Brazil made it to the semis we could have had real beef lmao but this way I'm hoping you can not only forgive me for having outed myself as an Argentina NT supporter but maybe keep your fingers crossed haha

Three Cossack heroes we know from the novel/film "With Fire and Sword" ("Ogniem i mieczem") - Ivan Bohun (Іван Богун), Bohdan Zenobi Chmielnicki (Богдан Зиновій Хмельницький) and Maksym Krzywonos (Максим Кривоніс) - portrayed on playing cards. They are part of a set commemorating Ukrainian national heroes (mainly from the Cossack Hetmanate time), issued by the Austrian company, Piatnik.

Random facts that are absolutely random and not something I go on and on about then, let's gooooo. Pretend you didn't know all of that about me, my dear ❤

I collect playing cards. Never counted how many decks I have exactly, but I tend to buy those as souvenirs from places I visit, plus I like to buy myself a new, beautifully designed deck every noe and then, as a cheer me up. I also get those as gifts so my collection ranges from 'anime boysband cards' through 'Suzhou Gardens' cards up to actual Piatniks.

I like my current job a lot. Surprising, since it's not exactly what I studied for, but I adore my coworkers and I am really excited about stuff I get to do. Also makes me feel like I am working for secret service or something.

I have too many opinions about James Bond movies. YES they are problematic at times, YES their portrayal of women is hit or miss, YES they are unrealistic af. Still, I enjoy them a lot, with all of their flaws. To the point that I constantly make the professor who specialises in James Bond movies go 'oh. you again. how lovely' whenever we run into each other at conferences.
