Day 9/40 of productivity

These few days have been characterised by exercises all the way!

Among these, those that I spent in the library have been the best days so far. I don’t like weekends much because campus is closed and it feels boring to stay at home.

Highlights:

I’ve met some people during study breaks

I tried out the university canteen

I’m really motivated to achieve my goals💪��

ps. at one point, I couldn’t find the pizza box anymore; it had ended up under my books… 🤦🏽‍♀️

Ended up doing way more review than I thought I would tonight. I didn’t know I had it in me! I was able to get some review done for each of the concepts from the midterm review packet I felt like I’d need to know/remember, and then some stuff from previous assignments. Tomorrow I’ll finish reviewing the last few assignments I feel like still need attention, add it to my notes, and then start the arduous process of condensing the most important stuff into a single note sheet to take with for the exam. Here’s to the fact that, no matter what happens, I know I tried 😅

My courses for this semester started yesterday!

I spent the morning going over syllabi and preparing my calendar for the remainder of August. In the afternoon, I completed all of my introductory assignments.

Unlike the picture, the day turned out much sunnier fortunately, although the temperature is getting too cold now. Listed down the deadlines to submit applications for summer internships, and did a bit of Electronics (which I am a bit ashamed to see that I have forgotten all my basics 💀)

I've arrived at CERN!

While it is exciting, I'm also finding it really difficult. This is all very unfamiliar. I'm not used to sitting in a shared office space all day with people who are essentially strangers. I'm getting socially exhausted often, and it's been difficult to recover and keep it. Today, it felt like nothing at all went right, so I felt awful when I got off work.

BUT I've done some self-care, and I'm better. I did accomplish a lot today, and this is a really difficult experience. So, I'm trying to be kind to myself, and remember all the positive things that happened today instead of the negatives.

study diary —

I completely forgot to post yesterday - it was finally sunny outside and I took my calculus 3 final exam!

It went amazing! I was absolutely flabbergasted when I got my score today. I did not feel confident at all while I was working through review.

I am so happy to have calc off of my plate. Now I just have my physics final tomorrow, and then I’m done for the semester!

Today I’ve been working on physics review - nothing too fancy. I also watched an HST livestream which was very interesting!

The end is so close!!
