I got some pretty rude comments on this post because I blazed it and didn’t tag it well enough. I was on Tumblr a long time ago and it has obviously changed in a way that I don’t full understand but I’m learning. I’m sorry and I take responsibility for the mistake. I did so by cancelling the blaze and adding tags, couldn’t edit while it was being blazed. Read more below for more info.

As for the context of the photo that people were sending me cruel anon messages about - About a year ago, my mom was dying from kidney disease, so I donated one of mine to her. The picture shows me holding up her needle she uses for insulin because, oddly, receiving a donated kidney often lead to diabetes even if you didn’t have it before. I've struggled with an opiate addiction, but I'm doing better now, although it's still an ongoing issue.

I hope at the core, even the nastier messages we’re trying to show me my insensitivity towards people with seeing pictures of needles, but ironically you were all just as, if not more insensitive, rude and hurtful to me, when I just made a mistake. I’m not upset with any of you or anything. like the way I grew up and where I’m from… Don’t worry about it lol. I’m just more disappointed with a lot of the messages and replies.
