As someone who finds Anthony Bridgerton super relatable from a fed-up-eldest-sibling perspective. I want Julia Quinn to just give me a novella of Anthony descent into ultimate insanity from book 1 to 8

My Family an 8 book series by Anthony Bridgerton

Book 1: My best friend the traumatized Duke and my sister the one with the dubious understanding of the rules of consent and how they apply to baby making

Book 2: Falling inlove with Kate hoping my siblings absolutely do not follow my example of dumbassery, because even if my bad decisions are legendary I'm still right about all of them being idiots

Book 3: never make the mistake of thinking a sibling is well adjusted. Next thing you know he's seduced a maid, gone crying to mommy about his relationship issues and proposed to someone in jail

Book 4: Surviving Mr Bridgerton, lessons from my dumbass brother on how to end up as both lady Whistledown's sugar baby and Portia Featherington's son in law in one masterful session of stalking

Book 5: to sir Phillip with my apologies, how my sister managed to brainwash a man and two kids into naming her as their leader and I accidentally punched an innocent single dad for something that was wholy Eloise fault !

Book 6: The quiet one strikes back, see my most normal sister ruin her track record of cero scandals by bringing the Merry rake into the family. Using the excuse that what happens in Scotland stays in Scotland.

Book 7: felonies my little sister may need a lawyer for in her journey towards true love, breaking and entering, stealing private property, and the usual bribing of servants.

Book 8: I AM SO DONE. So Watch how Kate deals with my little brother's one man mission to top the entire family's track record for Mad shenanigans. While I comfortably hide in my study and scream.

As the debate continues regarding who will be next for s4, I couldn’t help recalling the scene between Daphne & Anthony.

I see Eloise being an obstacle for Colin getting with Pen as Anthony was for Daphne with Simon. She, so far, seems to have a bigger role understandably in s3. & those familiar with Eloise’s book are aware that Colin, although reluctant & more distracted by food, had a part in hunting Eloise down & dealing with Phillip. Once things were sorted though, none of the brothers were really a serious obstacle in keeping Philoise apart. Granted the show could change that.

Considering, thanks to the show, Colin & Phillip are already on good terms & perhaps pen pals. I can see Colin getting in touch with Phillip, sharing & getting advice from Phillip about his travels. Especially if Colin wasn’t getting any letters back from Pen. Those familiar with Eloise’s book know that Phillip is an engaging pen pal, which is saying a lot considering her standards for the opposite sex. But I wonder, with Phillip married (for honorable reasons) to Colin’s ex fiancée, how will Colin feel about Phillip getting with his sister?

From the little info we have regarding Benedict for s3, I’m guessing he will be filling Anthony’s shoes, I assume escorting Fran & Eloise during the season. I sense Kate might find out she’s pregnant, so she & Anthony take their leave from the season. Basing this off of the little we saw of them in the trailer. Basically I don’t see Benedict being an obstacle or even caring much other than being happy for Colin with Pen.

& Ben & Fran’s book don’t really show any siblings being an obstacle, Eloise & Colin seem more encouraging to the Benophie & Franchael pairings than opposed.

So if the creators have the siblings pairing off & want to keep the sister/brother groupings…….well

I feel like at the end of Bridgerton season 3, or when Pen and Colin FINALLY marry, we'll see Phillip Crane at the Polin wedding, due to the fact that Colin and Phillip really hit it off and most likely became friends. So most likely at the wedding reception, Phillip will be by himself (as his wife did not wish to come to the wedding or she did) and he catches Eloise's eye, who then starts talking with him as she has been badgered by her mother for 2 years now to find a husband, and this man seems somewhat interesting, as he himself is a wallflower (quite unusual for a man). The two start talking and he informs her that he's from Pen's side of the family (via marriage) but Colin invited him to the wedding. They exchange address and start corresponding.

Has anyone seen that episode from Modern Family where Phil, Gloria, and Cam have their "Orange Juice Operation" going on every time one of them screw something up and need to fix it before their judgmental Pritchett finds out? (S08E08)

Now, imagine the siblings-in-laws having their own group behind their spouse's back to breathe away from their shenanigans and competitiveness, helping each other out to fix whatever mess they committed before any of their soulmate finds out. Kate&Sophie&Penelope&Simon&Philip&Michael&Lucy&Gareth, having each other's back without question against the stubborn nature of their Bridgerton spouse.

Can someone write me a fic about it, please? Or tell me if it already exists?

only 72 days to my favourite characters and ships are back I do hope we get to see more Marina and Philip in dislike/enemies to lovers kinda story my fav trope I mean if we can get that in queen Charlotte, with Charlotteand George where it was a marriage of convenience force and without love at first but they grew to learn about each other their situation form a bond only they can and love each other would be so epic + it’ll give plot twist instead of the predictable ending we are headed.

we saw the queen stand by the king with his illness love him still does to modern day Bridgerton, it’s beautiful would love to see a man standing by his wife and hee illness it would be so very much different unexpected by man especially during that time and not having him abandoned her emotionally mentally checked out on her and her/their kids now when she needs someone/him the most why is it only woman characters that stay and try to be understanding unconditionally loving protective and helping of their partner’s illness especially during that society time.

give us something new please something unexpected different in the show a change the whole show talks about putting a modern spin on that world all the time, what better way would then seeing a man be in the role of carer of his wife like qc takes care of her husband!

We know they won’t change the end couples which is fine don’t mean that sir Philip can’t come to understand and love marina and Marina him and once she is no longer with him he can ofc fall in love again you don’t just fall in love just once in your life there’s first love and then there’s true soulmate love!

Still waiting on that princess Edwina a Brid story for s2 of the spin off after polin season and before Benedict season followed by lady Danbury a Bridgerton story then s5 of Bridgerton, then lastly prince Adolphus a Bridgeton story and the last ever season of Bridgerton having all the remaining 2 siblings stories go together s6 the end! this way everyone gets their happy endings and also first love and true love aka their soulmate love

Disappointed and Disgusted with Bridgerton "fans"

Of all the fandoms I am a part of, filled with criminals, murderers, vampires, demons, and all sorts of other morally grey (dark grey at best) characters, some how the most toxic and offensive one is for a regency romance that was designed to be diverse and inclusive. No where else do I see such blatant racism, body shaming, homophobia and general disrespect for not just the characters but the cast as well. As is it is ever alright to talk about people you don't even know that way, they have the audacity to go so far as to tag them. What has to be broken inside you to behave this way? Make it make sense!

That last bit was obvious dramatic sarcasm. Don't be foolish enough to bring your hate speech here. I Will Not Tolerate It!

Today on another episode of stories I'm too sleep deprived to write: past life reincarnation au. But it's just a universe where the Bridgertons fall in love but they never quite get their happy endings

Daphne saw a betrayed Simon chose to willingly get shot by Anthony and leave England in shame rather than marry her.

Anthony married Edwina and lived to know Kate died of a horseback riding accident shortly after the wedding

Benedict was rejected by Sophie, who chose to take the next ship to America instead of accepting his offer to be his mistress

Colin discovering her secret scared Penelope enough she vanished from his life without a trace.

Francesca never saw Michael again after he confessed he loved her.

And Eloise never took a chance on Sir Phillip, once she found out that he had children, she went back home with her brothers and tried to live her spinster life. Reason for which, he simply married another lady soon after his mourning period was over.

Hyacinth fell in love with Gareth, who chose to marry the next heiress he met rather than indulge her in her adventures

And Gregory was too slow and too late to Lucy's wedding. Knowing he was most likely the father of her and Haselby's only child

So, what happens when all your life you live to regret one mistake that cost you the love of your life. Wondering if you could have done anything different, then maybe you could have been happy.

And then a freak accident happens in Aubrey Hall and all the Bridgertons wake up on the morning of Daphne's debut.

Gregory and Hyacinth, rightfully horrified at having to go trough puberty again. Just want to see where young Gareth and Lucy are holed up and bring them to London, so at least growing up for a second time will be less terrible.

While Anthony is plotting exactly how to begin courting Kate Sharma despite knowing his disastrous marriage to Edwina left him jaded and broken in the romance department. And that he never got over Kate's death

Daphne has to tread the thin line between flirting with Simon and spooking him into running from her. Without resorting to a fake engagement

Benedict has the dubious mission of catching Sophie without tarnishing her reputation knowing she's wily enough to slip away from his grasp with whatever method he chooses. Even if he offered marriage, he would still need to take her out of Araminta's grasp and earn her trust. And his lady in silver is stubborn enough to resist him

Colin has to get close to Penelope without letting her find out he knows her secret while at the same time officially courting her like a gentleman and protecting her from the unsavory parts of her work. At the same time that he tries to infiltrate the steadily growing network of connections she built as LW that allowed her to disappear from his life in his first lifetime

Eloise has to live with the knowledge that she is now inlove with a very married man and worry about the moral implications of visiting Marina and befriending Phillip so soon after their marriage. After all, if Eloise intervenes Marina could live, but she'd lose Phillip again

And Francesca has to figure out quick, how to choose between her two great loves. Michael and John. Both of whom she never got over. Before it's time for her debut in society

If one mistake could cost you the love of your life, what mistakes exactly would you be willing to make? Well, the Bridgertons sure are going to find out
