why did you choose your url?

it is my artist name, i am an aspiring artist who writes, produces, paints, splats, splashes over multi canvases all under the name Deleted Roses. i chose that name because i wanted a name that combined the digital era with something of nature, particularly a certain flower i have admired for years. i wanted to mix the cold shiny metal with a fucking pretty leaf plant thingy.

Not one I’m proud of ^^’ I wanted to get into the Discourse. Thankfully it was right before Season 3 of SU dropped so eventually I was like, “you know what, this isn’t for me”, and joined the more fandom-y side of Tumblr.

I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue

I can recognize notes by singing Sonic tunes. For example, E is Labyrinth Zone, F is Toy Kingdom, A is Scrap Brain, and so forth. It’s not quite having perfect pitch, but it’s useful.

I don’t have clinical phobias, but the buzzing of insects like flies causes me deep revulsion and I can’t help cowering when I hear it.

1. whats’s the smell of your shampoo?

it smells like generic shampoo so like soapy i guess? lol not special at all rip

2. what is your aesthetic?

pretty lighters, vintage clothes, thrifting, old neon signs, lipstick-stained cigarette butts, sunsets through a window, golden hour, flowers in alcohol bottles, flicking through vinyls in a record store, stars in the sky at 2am, 90s fashion, jackets with pins and patches, vodka bottles in a backpack, grainy polaroid photos

3. what’s your favourite part of the day?

sunset time when the sky is full of orange and pink and just so pretty.

also 12am-3am, i listen to music and i can either reflect on my day or simply relax and get in my little “zone” without my mum nagging me about everything. also my best friend and i tend to have good conversations at this time.

4. what do you like most about the beach?

i don’t go to the beach anymore but i always loved going in the evening when the sun was setting and there were no waves and i could sit on my towel watching the water and the sky. the smell of seawater was always comforting as well

5. what do you worry about constantly?

if i’m ever good enough, or if i’m ever doing enough. i’m about to start my last year of high school and it terrifies me because its all leading to one number that determines where i go and what i do after i finish school. i also tend to worry about my own self worth to my friends lmao

6. what is a song you’ve cried to before?

love of my life (rock in rio) wow bYe tears every time. these are the days of our lives always gets me teary oh my god.

(when freddie sings “i still love you” in both songs wOw okay punch me it would hurt less)

and obviously my playlist of sad shit when i’m having a bad time oops

7. what are some relaxing tips for your followers?

here’s what relaxes me-

take a shower, do your skincare routine and a nice face mask, put on your comfy clothes and make a cup of tea, lie in bed and listen to your favourite music or watch your favourite show.

8. what are some things that make you tear up?

sometimes my best friend and i will be texting and she’ll say something casual that’ll make me feel appreciated and loved and i’ll just cry uhhh

also when it’s sad boi hours and i’m a big ol mess

9. what is your favourite from each of the senses?

touch- animal fur, paper from heavily used journals and old books, holding old sentimental papers and tickets

sight- sunset & sunrise, stars at night, a burning candle in the dark, the way my lava lamp colours my room red in the dark

smell- men’s cologne, incense burning, a new perfume, fresh brewed tea, ocean-themed fragrance diffusers, petrichor

taste- pre-mix vodka drinks, smoke, strawberry starburst, ice tea

sound- fire crackling, my favourite music, the silence after 12am, soft rain, a metal drink can opening

10. what is one alternate reality you’d like to be in?

obviously the 70s so i could live in the time of Queen cri

also a reality where i am the best version of myself (perceived by me) just to see how my life would change.

11. what are some troubles you face on a daily basis?
