- you knew his about his not-so-subtle crush on your dad when you first met, and decided not to tell him

- you adore him but whose to say he won't just use you as an excuse to hang out with your philanthropist billionaire playboy dad?

- but you'd been dating awhile, and had met Aunt May (who adored you), so why were you avoiding the subject of your dad?

- that was until you were fixing your suit and Peter walked in, gave you a kiss and offered to help. You forgot the little engraving your dad left you on your suit, "be careful and kick ass, love dad"

- "aw, that's sweet," he smiled, "when can I meet him?"

- "you. . .already have," you said, trying to gage his reaction, "he made me my first suit. . .and yours"

- it took him a few seconds but then it all clicked. His super amazing genius girlfriend whose dad bought her a Porsche at fifteen was Tony Stark

- his idol

- "I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner, but you idolize him and I was scared and-"

- he understood - completely shocked but understood

- he does ask if that means he can drive the Porsche now tho

- you and your mom? Best friends

- danny and your mom? Not so much

- being the daughter of Black Widow herself came with a lot of trust, and many secrets so you never intended on dating because of it

- but then this handsome motherfucker gentleman comes along and you're on cloud nine

- you told him you have a complicated past and he respected that, waiting until you were ready

- but he's Iron Fist, King of K'un L'un and an Agent of SHIELD so he took notice when you'd disappear from team sessions

- he admits he got curious and followed one day, and there you were: training with Black Widow herself, and doing it flawlessly

- and at the end of it, his suspicions were confirmed once you hugged and said, "thanks, mom"

- "So are you gonna introduce us or does he always do that?" She made DIRECT eye contact with him and it honestly sent a shiver down his spine

- he introduced himself, remaining calm and collected, which impressed her but she also knows that people can hide how they rlly feel

- she GRILLED HIM

- "where'd you grow up?" "K'un L'un" "who are your parents?" "Heather and Wendell Rand" "if you're a billionaire, why do you wear five dollar flip flops?"

- you knew she approved of him, but she liked to keep him on his toes

- "beloved, I love you, but your mother scares me"

- oh how does one BEGIN to explain to their bullet proof boyfriend that their dad is Thor?

- he knew you had to be other worldly, and not just because he thinks you're a Goddess you accidentally struck him with lightning one time

- you wanted to keep it a secret for a bit before the Almighty Thor comes in and demands to know Luke's intentions

- "babe, why is Thor asking me when I'm proposing?"

- being a God came with perks, so Thor knew not long after you guys started dating that something was amiss with his daughter

- (you stopped remembering to being him poptarts and he got upset)

- "how do I know if he is worthy of your hand?"

- "He makes me laugh :) and he's bulletproof so. . ."

- they get along great

- his first trip to Asgard was a bit intimidating but seeing as you're half human, your mom reminded him that love between you guys was possible

- "I recommend a traditional Asgardian ceremony-"

- "dad we're sixteen"

- you're a minute late, who were you with? What were you doing? I want their names, addresses, social security-

- if you guessed Winter Soldier a.k.a Bucky then you guessed right

- he knew something was up the moment you two lingered for a bit after training, and watching from the top deck this man SPOTTED your hands brush and asked Fury for Novas' personal file

- but knowing your dad, you were actually able to keep your relationship a secret for two months before he put the pieces together himself

- you both were out on a picnic date, Sam having made a cute cake, and a very threatening man with a metal arm came up sat down, smiled at him, held his hand out and said, "Samuel Alexander, sixteen, last Nova, grew up in Carefree, and 5'8, correct?"

- you were LIVID

- meanwhile Sam was like "omg he knows my name :0!!"

- you had told Sam long before dating that your dad was extremely overprotective, but Sam being Sam was just excited that his badass girlfriend has a badass dad!!

- and Buckys like "wtf this kid isn't even remotely terrified"

- Sam asks question after question, and it even turns into a third wheel - as in they're bonding and you're just there

- Bucky likes him but still tries to be somewhat intimidating, being the infamous Winter Soldier and all

- "Babe. . .baabe. . .when's your dad gonna be back? I wanna ask him if he likes my new helmet look"

- so like where do I even start

- you and Ava had been dating for a couple of months before she started to realize that she hadn't met your family

- you told her that they were just really intense and you didn't wanna scare her

- but who could scare White Tiger? So she insisted and you said "your funeral"

- also how does one explain to their partner that they technically shouldn't exist because your dad is a robot and your mom is a witch?

- your brothers LOVE her

- Billy and Tommy immediately recognized Ava, seeing as they'd work with the team from time to time and said "ooh our sisters dating the smart one"

- and Ava like, "babe I think I kicked one of their asses in training"

- Wanda adores Ava, she thinks she's good for you and might as well have someone mentally stable in your life

- Meanwhile in Avas' mind, "omg omg her mom is Scarlet Witch, her dad is Vision - wait is that why she's so smart? Is my girlfriend a robot?"

- no you're not a robot

- Vision likes her, and he knew about you two before you two even started dating. Why? You rambled about White Tiger during dinner once and Vision CLOCKED that look in your eyes

- needless to say, Sunday dinners with your family are now mandatory with Ava

“Hey, have you seen...” Peter trailed off as he looked around the room searching for the one missing face among his team.

“I thought they were with you?” Ava asked, watching Sam’s face slowly contort in worry, hand reaching out to his helmet, ready to zip away in a blur of blue light.

“Yeah… they were. I’m here for…” Peter pointed at Sam.

All eyes turned to Nova as he stood slowly, nerves getting the better of him. Something was wrong. Not ‘time to dive over the tricarrier and make a dash before they hit the ground below’ level wrong, but Webs’ brows were knit and he came looking for Sam specifically. That only happened when a special kind of TLC was needed. “Where?” Sam’s terse voice came out like a demand as he put his helmet on.

“The usual”. Peter hadn’t gotten three syllables before Sam was gone down the hall.

“So what happened?” Ava asked as Spidey sat down.

“Fell into the wrong corner of the internet.” At Danny’s confused look Peter went on. “ ‘Phobes, “that doesn’t exist”, just crummy people being crummy people.”

Iron First nodded and frowned at the hall sympathetically.

 Nova stopped outside the locked door. “Babe? It’s Sammy, can I…” He paused, not so much waiting for a response but listening for… The door panel light changed to green indicating it was open from the inside. As Nova opened the door, light flooded the room. …’sign 1: sitting in the dark’. “Oh, honey…”

He took his helmet off and sat nearly flush on the bed. Sam held his arms open slightly. Not a demand, just an offer. A welcome one at that, tangled hair got pressed into the side of his face as he was pulled close. Sam could admit he wasn’t the best at comforting and worse at offering affirmation but thankfully he was dating someone that gave really good preemptive instructions for how to help and what to do when/if they get like… this.

“Mm?” Sam prompted, nuzzling.

“Mm-mm.” Well, alright then… ‘sign 2: not having emotional energy to communicate verbally’.

“Do you…” before Sam could offer things he knew they liked they started to cry. “Yay, there you go I gotchu…”

“It… it sucks!” they clutched onto the gold straps of his suit as shaky breaths turned into earnest sobs. “Just, sucks.”

Gentle pets and tight hugs, helped the tension ease and the tears flow. Letting it out always was the best thing for them. Sam took a deep breath -one they mimicked trying to calm down. “No, no no, let it out, gumball, let it out”- hearing them sob like this was always contagious, making his eyes water. Sam reached for their phone, their ears must be ringing like sirens in the silence... ah, yup. A familiar icon; four houses: three blank, one with colorful stripes.

As the emotional chords and lyrics filled the small space as did more tears and sobs. Sam held the shaking body close as the song looped again and again. When the first yawn broke through he knew they’d feel better soon. They tugged at the strap they still held getting Nova’s attention. When he looked down they pressed the tips of their fingers to their chin and pulled a flat hand away from their face.

“Don’t thank me, baby. You don’t have to thank me. I love you, I’ll always be here when the world sucks.” That got a little giggle, before the sobs came back and they latched on like a vice. A few tears slipped down his own face. He couldn’t help it, as much as he’d like to be a calm and collected comfort watching the dysphoria hit always broke his heart to see.

“Ooh! Hol’ on a sec.” They let go and scrubbed their face as their boyfriend searched through their regular day bag. “Ah ha!” he sat down just as they tossed away a soiled tissue. “Bam. Passport and driver’s license are next.” Sam set a small card in their hand. They looked at the piece of plastic and smiled before clutching it to their chest. Their S.H.I.E.L.D. I.D. was the only official document they had that had the correct name on it. It was useless everywhere else but still made them happy to have.

“I love you, Sammy.”

“I love you, too, handsome.”

A pause. “Promise?”

“Yeah. The real you.” His statement accentuated by running his fingers over the bump of each scar on their chest. “We can talk to Connors about bottom and T. tomorrow if you feel like it then?”

They nodded and presses kisses to his shoulder as they pulled him to sit in their lap, tangling themselves together snug. More tears flowed, again and again as they curled tight. After what felt like could be an hour a knock tapped at the door. They nodded into the boy clutched in their arms prompting Sam to hold them tighter and turn to the door, “It’s open.”

The team peered in with matching sorrowful expressions. Sam may be the one actively in a relationship but all five of the team had grown to need the young agent. Danny held out bottle. Sam looked down. “Do you think you could try and drink some water, love?”

They sniffled and sat up eagerly, nodding and pulling stray hairs off their wet face. Danny smiled at their immediate interest in hydration. Sam pressed a kiss to their temple after they swiftly downed 3/5 of the liquid. When they yawned for the n’th time Ava ushered the others to leave and let the couple be.

“Mm!”

“What’s up?” Peter asked from the doorway.

They pointed to Sam, then to the team, then snuggled back into their boyfriend. Surly they weren’t asking for Sam to leave (they didn’t do it like that). At Peter’s confused face Sam spoke to his partner loud enough for the others to hear the message being translated to them, “they’ll grab me if Nova’s needed.”

“Nah, dude stay, we go-” Sam cut Luke off with a shake of his head and continued quieter, “they’ll spiral if they think they’re keeping me from something.” The taller boy nodded as the four heroes bid the two goodnight and closed the door.

“Think you could sleep?”

The start of a nod before a shrug.

“Wanna try?”

Soft nodding.

“Okay,” Sam sighed as he spoke and laid down. He felt the familiar weight and warmth as they curled around him and pressed a few gentle kisses to the back of his neck.

Spider-Man/Peter Parker

Chronology of Peter's life in my AU

At first, things are going just like in TSSM, untill episode 10 of second season. After Peter took down Three Biggest Bosses of New York's crime, Nick Fury becomes interest in this outstanding youngster. As soon as Fury gets the real identity, he secretly contacts him, offering him to try to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. Peter is not sure, since the job must be dangerous, but after some logical thinking of pros and cons of this opportunity, he eventually agrees. (He can make some real money there)

Then, he meets his team or co-workers, Ava Ayala AKA White Tiger, Danny Rand AKA Iron Fist, Luke Cage AKA Power-Man and Sam Alexander AKA Nova. Since Peter of my AU is both USM and TSSM versions of Peter, he's much more cooperative and frienlier, however still keeps distance because after all he's still introverted person and he's fine with having only his 2 friends and 1 girldriend(Gwen, Harry and Liz). But unfortunately for Pete, Liz can't stand his double life and soon they break up. Not like anyone is heartbroken, but it still does affect Peter, because now he feels shitty for being a total mess that can't keep his life together.

His teammates notice that(they're studying with him just like in USM), so they stop tease him that much and gave him a break. Frightfull Four, unlike his team, didn't care about his hard time, so they didn't give him a break, but instead became a daily pain in the ass. They were so annoying, that it irritated whole S.H.I.E.L.D. team so much, that it made them to get to know each other more and finally became friends. Soon enough Peter's team gets so good at beating Frightfull Four, they finally catch them and bring them to justice.

That's when he meats X-Men, young mutants or just people that were lucky(or unlucky) to be born with powers. Peter shocked that it's possible, just like his team. They even more shocked that Fury KNEW about that and never told them! When they ask why, he just says: "Doing a little favor for Old Friend", and Old Friend in question is Wolverine, a Man that's even more grumpier than Fury. Peter is so excited to get to know these unique individuals, he asks for few days off and goes to Bayville, where he meats other X-Men. They quickly become friends and threw a party to celebrate that. Meanwhile Brotherhood is so pissed that X-Men have another add to their 'little' team, that they decide to ruin the party. And they're hella lucky, since Frightfull Four is here to get their revenge! Finally Brotherhood doesn't feel outmached. But uh-oh, Frightfull Four has their own plans and they're here only for Spider, while Brotherhood is here for X-Men. And since these guys aren't the best at communicating, soon they have fight with each other. X-Men and Spider-Man are confused by that, but not complaining.

Had fun, Peter? Time for pain, because Sinister SIx is out and now they're Sinister Seven. New technologies, new strategies, new members!(Sandman, Venom, Shocker - is out; Kraven, Mysterio, Scorpion - is in) The opportunity to say hi to old and new foes strikes Peter as soon as possible. The Fight is brutal, Peter wouldn't made it out alive if not his team. He thinks about what to do, Sinister Seven is out and they're extremely dangerous! So what's the plan now? Assemble new team! After that happens pretty much happens everything what happed in season 3 and half of season 4 of USM, except for there's no Iron-Spider(Amadeus Cho is Branch), X-Men and even Brotherhood that helped them to fight HYDRA.

After that, he becames extremely close to Web-Warriors, thanks to S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. Wolverine jokes a bit about how Fury copies Proffesor X, but Fury isn't hiding the fact that he was inspired by Xavier's Academy for Youngsters. Sometimes they even have team-up lessons, that are really fun. And Meanwhile Pete enjoys his life, a new team was assembled by itself. Ms Marvel, Kid Arachnid and Nova start a new team - Champions, about which Peter was completely clueless untill it was finally full of members. "Wow, since when Sam and Miles are best pals?" - he asks himself outloud and then gets the answer from Sam: "Like...since Miles got here from his dimension?" "Oh yeahhhhh....yeahhh....I remember that"

Finally, the end of this chronology is same end of USM. Peter finishes his studies at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy and becomes The Ultimate Spider-Man and a Teacher for new teenager heroes at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy(even tho he's not even 21 yo yet)

Truth or Dare

An ultimate spiderman oneshot

Sam Alexander/Nova x y/n, no plot just smut, definitely 18+ so skip if you don't like it, also there's almost no editing this was created in a sleep deprived haze at 3 in the morning. Also there's some latin and Spanish sentences in this so I put the English versions next to them with a dash.

The Parker house was mostly quiet tonight you and the others were sitting in a circle on the living room floor. Aunt may was out with some of her bingo club friends for a girls night. After watching a movie you and the others agreed on playing a few games before patrol. The boys out voted you and Ava on what game you would play first. Of course picking truth or dare. The first round was tame enough with simple truth questions and even simpler dares, mostly food related on the boys part.

Eventually it was your turn again and you decided on dare. Luke grinned and you suddenly felt like you made the wrong choice. "I dare you to turn Sam on." Your eyes widen incredulously. "What!? I am not doing that Luke!" Peter decides to butt in. "Come on y/n are you chicken?" You glare at him before conceding defeat. "I'm not chicken! So fine I'll do it." You clear your throat and stand to move where Sam is sitting.

Deciding on spite you sit in his lap facing him. You lean in to whisper in his ear. "Tu es bellus- you're cute. Volo te basia- I want to kiss you." You feel him tense up under you, you're hands touch his chest and move behind his neck. Deciding on something a bit more risqué you use one hand to pull out your knife. You bring it up to his neck and lightly graze it along his jaw. "Hoc tibi vis?- You like this don't you?" You grin when he shivers slightly. "Habesne cubiculum extra linguam in ore tuo?- Have you got any room for an extra tongue in your mouth?"

You laugh breathily at him and barely graze the crook of his jaw with your top teeth, your upper lip brushing over his skin. You can hear him gasp at the sensation and you abruptly leave him. After you sit in your respectful spot in the circle you look over to him. He's breathing a bit heavier and there's a bright blush on his face and ears. You sheath your knife and lean back against the couch behind you.

Peter, Luke, Danny, and ava look at you in stunned silence. " Um if you don't mind me asking what did you say to him?" Danny asked. You only grin at him in response. Sam finally snaps out of his trance. "I don't know what she said to be honest. A couple words sounded Spanish but the rest was gibberish to me." Ava decides to pipe up. " it sounded like latin from what I could catch."

Peter laughs incredulously. " So you know latin? What did you say?" You sigh and shake your head. "That's a secret between me and Sam, webhead." Looking at him again you can see that he's still blushing. Though now he has a determined look on his face. " Can we continue the game guy's?" After another few turns its Sam's go.

He picks dare and gets to turn you on aswell. He grins and moves towards you. He sits on his knees between your legs and places his hands on either side of you, pinning you against the couch behind you. He leans down to whisper in your ear like you did before. "Cuanto cuesta tu ropa Porque tendré que pagarte después de que los estafe.-How much do your clothes cost? Cause ill have to repay you after i rip them off."

"Quiero besarte tanto.-I want to kiss you so badly." He breaths on your neck placing his hand on your thigh close to your rear. He nips at your neck and down to your collar bone before leaving just as abruptly as you did. You pant slightly, eyes hooded and a blush across your face. You clear your throat and rub your neck. Peter breaks the silence by saying it's time for patrol. They tell you and Sam to watch the house while they're out. Peter winks at the both of you as they rush out the door.

The house grows quiet again as you both stare at the door. Sam is the first to break the silence. "So....about all of that earlier." You scoot over to him and crawl into his lap. You look at him through your lashes, his hands landing on your hips. Your hands glide up his clothed chest to wrap around his neck again. You inch your face towards his and finally connect. Your mouths clash and his hands start to roam over you. Your hands find their way into his hair, pulling and tugging on the short black locks. You pull away for air only for it to be nocked out of you when he latches onto your pulse.

Heat between your legs starts to grow and you move your hips to be flush with his. His hands return to your hips so he can hold you against him. You let a mewl escape your lips as he continues to attack your neck. You receive a surprisingly possessive growl in return, which makes you shiver. The coil in your abdomen being tugged on as he travels down to your chest. You lean back in his arms to give him better access but the layers of fabric keep him from going further. He slips his fingers under the hem of your shirt, lifting it up and over your head.

He pauses for a moment to admire your partially covered chest before returning to kissing your skin. Reaching behind your back he unclasps your bra and pulls it off flinging it onto the couch. He immediately starts attending to your chest. And you grind down on him in response. He let's out a choked gasp at the friction. You lean back all the way to the floor, pulling him down with you.

With the new angle he grinds against you harder, holding your hip with one hand and caressing your back with the other. He hides in the crook of your neck, his groans and moans right in your ear as he grinds against you faster. You mewl and moan in return wrapping your legs around his waist to keep him against you. You were so happy that you wore leggings today. His shorts were thin enough for you to feel him as he rutted against you. As the coil in you tightened you clawed at his back. Your mewls and crys growing louder and his grunts and growls becoming more aggressive.

"Baby you feel amazing!" He panted turning his attention back to your neck. He started marking you which only added to the pleasure that tightened your coil even further. " I'm close Sam!" You whimpered. This spurred him on further. Both hands moved to your hips, his chest pressed against yours, and his head still in your neck. Suddenly your coil snapped and as you cried out he sunk his teeth into your shoulder. He rutted hard against you his hips snapping firmly against yours. He growled animalistically in your ear as he too came undone.

Once you had ridden your highs he sat up. Looking down at you eyes blown and panting hard. He helped you put your bra and shirt back on kissing you gently. He picked you up bridle style and took you upstairs to his room. Gently he placed you on his bed and he laid down beside you wrapping you in his arms. "I love you Sam." "I love you too y/n." You both drifted off to sleep.

Sam Alexander - Legacy Characters and Their Development

Been wanting to do a mini-essay about my thoughts on Sam Alexander Nova for a long time, so here we go. Put it under the cut so as not to clog up the tag feed. Warning there will be lots of tangents as I am ADHD and cannot help it.

Alrighty, so as we know Sam is a relatively newer character in terms of comic books. His first debut was in Marvel Point One #1 in the Avengers vs X-Men crossover. This was back in November 2011. This would make him around 11 years old. In this short span of time(because yeah, compared to other characters Sam is still pretty young) he has had three volumes( Nova Vol 5-7), been apart of at least three team books (New Warriors 2014, All New All Different Avengers, and most recently Champions), and has had a variety of cameos and one-offs and specials, and that's not even getting into the animated stuff he's been in. While his appearances have thinned out over the years, we still see him pop in things every now and then despite not being very popular at all(this is unfortunate, but he's still my favorite at least). A good question to explore, perhaps, why is this character still keeping up appearances? Why is he being kept around?

The answer I believe lies with his creator, Jeph Loeb. He is one of the original writers for Sam, basing him off of his own son he lost to cancer back in 2006.

After that, it was probably not much more than 1 or 2 years after that that Jeph was pulled into the creation of the Ultimate Spiderman Tv show. It was originally announced in 2010, which means it was definitely worked on before then, and then debuted in 2012. Jeph was one of the main creators, and he decided to pull together some admittedly underrated and kind of unknown characters for the show. But when it came to Nova, he decided to start completely from scratch. Instead of going with the original, Richard Rider, he went with his own creation, Sam. This could have been for a variety of reasons such as: Richard Rider being too similar to Peter Parker(just take a look at his origin issue and you'll see what I mean), he was just killed off in the comic books which would lead to a natural opening for a new character, etc.

These are all substantial factors to take into consideration, but combined I think Jeph saw the opportunity to honor his late son. Legacy characters happen quite frequently in comic books(pretty much the entirety of Young Avengers for example), but Sam Alexander definitely feels a bit more... personal. He not only represents a connection to another beloved comic book character, but to a real person as well. Even though Loeb didn't stay on as a writer for Sam very long, you can see in his beginning issues where he added the info about the conception of Sam as a character that this was very important to him. And Sam being important to Loeb I think is what initially drew some people in, because the kind of dedication and love that goes into a character like that doesn't go unnoticed.

So people gave Sam a shot(ignoring the anal Rich Rider fans that cropped up in the beginning, FYI you can't be a fan of Rich if you hate Sam, thems the rules) and so it went. I remember reading all the issues of Volume 5-7 as they were coming out, and when Gerry Duggan took over for quite a large portion of the original run it was magnificent. He gave Sam interesting storylines, endearing character development, and overall I think did a superb job handling the character. His writing of Sam is most definitely what made me grow fond of the character, I don't know if I would have become a fan otherwise. Unfortunately the whole Marvel Comic Universe was being rebooted so they had to wrap things up quickly with a cap at 31 issues, but he ended Volume 5 on a good note with Sam reuniting with his dad.

Then enters my least favorite volume, Volume 6. If you thought the white-washing with Sam in Volume 5 was bad, it got so much worse. Not to mention the complete 180 in personality. In the beginning(Vol 5), Sam was an asshole. There's no sugarcoating that part about his character. But I liked that. Because when you start out a character like that, the room for development is immense. And honestly, I love watching characters grow. I love watching Sam grow. Volume 6 felt like a slap in the face because I wasn't reading about Sam. I was reading the generic teenage superhero Peter Parker clone. Sam went from being impulsive and reckless to boring and dull. Not to mention the whole 'evil clone' cliche with his dad made the ending of the previous volume feel so hollow and cheap. His original supporting cast was gone(and my ship was exiled from canon, so long Carrie), and the hinted at storyline of Sam possibly being half-alien was long since buried under the rug. It was not enjoyable for me to read at all.

Moving on before I seethe in rage, let's talk a bit about Volume 7. Never have I felt more robbed that a series was canceled too early. We had some major wins. Beautiful artwork(big points for not white-washing Sam), the dynamic between Sam and Rich(they're like squabbling siblings, I love it), and the writing was heading in a promising direction. My only complaint is Carrie and Principal Philbin not returning, along with Sam being in the chess club. Sam becoming a proficient chess player is so important to me, you have no idea. The comedy potential is golden. Imagine him beating Amadeus Cho in a game. That nerd would die from the shock. Anyways, I did like Sam's personality in this. I felt like he had developed into a jerk with a heart of gold. The jerk part is more toned down from Volume 5, and he isn't the goody two shoes he was in Volume 6, we reached a good mixture. Because that is what Sam is. He's a kid with a good heart, he just doesn't always go the best way about it. Which is understandable, given that most teenagers are not very mature in the slightest. This series would have been good development for him, and I'm forever heartbroken that I will never see where it would have gone.

But circling back around to the question, even though his character isn't that popular, the right people care about him and that's what keeps him relatively in the loop. And perhaps when he gets adapted to the MCU we will see a surge in popularity, but hopefully not at the expense of destroying what was so special about Sam in the first place. Let's hope that Feige and them don't forget what Sam was originally meant to be:

A grieving father holding onto his son in the most loving and familiar way he knew how.

By doing so will keep him in some ways alive forever. It's beautiful. To any and all future MCU adaptations, please keep this in mind when it comes to Sam. Sam's a character created from grief and love, and should not be taken lightly. If you managed to read all of this, I would love to have an open discussion about Sam and the Nova comics. It's been a bit quiet around here.
