Steve was his usual happy self when I got back the other day, and acted like I never left-climbed up my arm and pressed himself up against my face, and started whistling away 馃
Here he is chilling in one of his favourite spots. The cage doors are open, fyi
Clipping wings (if your bird doesn't have any sort of disability or medical problem) is animal abuse. I dont wanna hear that "it makes them safer!!" It doesn't. Birds are safest when they can fly away when they feel threatened.
"Its not harmful!!" Yes it is. Muscle atrophy is harmful to your your birds development.
Special thanks to BirdTricks for educating so many people on proper bird care.
i love how our only two birds that are housed together will get very grumpy at each other when theyre sleepy. they chitter angrily at each other over the best sleep spot until the cage gets covered. Like damn me too buddy
Stupid fucking bird giving me nightmares about him dying and it's my fault and then sing to me the moment I lift his cage fabric and jumping on me whenever I am at jumpable distance and screaming when I leave the room and get mad when I take too long and share meals and naps and fucking everything-
