Eyebrows scrunched as you concentrated, the knitting needles in your hands fell easily into a routine as the time went by. Nothing but comfortable silence enveloped the room as you concentrated on your task. But you weren’t alone, next to you was Makoto, who was currently leaning his head against your shoulder as you sat together on his bed, seeming to doze off with closed eyes.

It was almost evening, but fortunately S.E.E.S weren’t planning to head to the Dark Hour today, meaning you and your dear boyfriend could relax for the time being. You knew how busy Makoto can be, how it seemed he’d be pulled in every direction with the many things he had to do. Daily the quiet boy would leave the dorms and school to go somewhere or meet someone. It made you admire his commitment of responsibility and work ethic. He always tried his best and worked hard despite his behaviour that he didn’t care. But you always made sure to remind him to take breaks every once in a while. You didn’t want Makoto to burn himself out to satisfy his confidants’ needs. Including yourself.

Now he may not look it, he especially did his best to make time for you in his crowded schedule. To spend doing anything together, even if it was nothing extravagant or important, it still mattered all the same.

Like right now, where the two of you were snuggling up with his blanket over your laps, two almost empty cups of hot chocolate nearby, and some movie that was playing as background noise on your laptop. It filled you with peace despite the ever growing dangers presented by the Dark Hour.

“Are you sleeping, Mako..?” you whispered enough to reach his ears.

“.. Hmm.” your boyfriend responded.

“‘M almost done…” you say as your hands worked, wrapping up the finishing touches of your creation. “And there.”

You were pleased with how the sweater had turned out, spending the occasional time knitting a few things for Makoto to have. You’ve even stitched a shirt of his one time when there was a hole in it. Something that wasn’t common since your boyfriend took care of his things.

Makoto Yuki deserved nothing but good things in his life. That’s what you’ve always known and what you’ve wanted to do for him if you were able to. A great leader, a great friend, and an even wonderful boyfriend. Even if you’ve only known each other for almost a year, you didn’t think you could find anyone after Makoto.

Lifting his head from your shoulder, he turned his gaze to the clothing in your grasp. A single eye going over the details visible from his blue hair.

“It looks really nice.” Makoto complimented, hand touching the soft fabric.

“Can you try it on?” you asked eagerly.

“Okay.” he nods, shrugging his blazer off.

It fitted perfectly, purposefully a tad oversized to give cozy comfort. It was also the same colour as your eyes, which he personally requested.

Smiling proudly and fondly, you wrapping your arms his waist. Resting your ear against his heart, you heard it thrum.

Makoto returned your affection, softly yet firmly holding you close as he pressed his face against your hair, rubbing the back of your head. For someone who grew up away from physical touch since he was an orphan, it was foreign and unnatural. As much as he bonded with his confidants, he physically kept them at arms length. Even Aigis, who would follow him and guard his well-being, no one could turn Koromaru away, Junpei with his brazenness, and Elizabeth with all her eccentricity. But you changed that when he fell for you. Holding you felt natural and serene.

Just as you desired it, Makoto didn’t want to let go of you either.

“It fits well. I’ll keep it always.” he sincerely said.

A happy smile could not stop gracing your lips as a light blush spread your cheeks. Squeezing him a a little tighter, you hoped to have more of these moments come.

hello! can I get a sort of crossover headcanons? Can I get the obey me brothers reacting to an akira kurusu! mc. They have the same experience with the metaverse and still have arsenal and can probably use arsene in devildom. Id like to see the brothers reacting to weird sexual tension they have with akechi and why their human is so infatuated with another human (akechi) who tried to literally kill them (it's platonic with the brothers and ig a background akeshu but with the mc as the leader of the phantom thieves ig)

This was such an unexpected request but a fun idea. I'm doing headcanons for all the brothers and how they react to learning all of this so hopefully it fulfills your request? Please enjoy. Spoilers for persona 5 and Obey me, set after lesson 16

Lucifer

Out of everyone, is the most understanding about the whole thing though even he has his questions

When you first arrived in the Devildom he already knew that you were a strange human but even he wasn't ready for Arsene to come to your side when you felt threatened

At first he believes this might cause trouble but it won't take long for him to realize how helpful your personas can be

Still expects his brothers to keep you safe but now he's more willing to believe you can handle yourself

That thought is thrown to the side the moment you tell him all about Akechi and what happened him the metaverse

What do you mean he shot you?! What do you mean you miss him!

Will scold you for being so reckless with your own life but won't deny that he feels a sense of pride knowing you rebelled against the corrupt world

He will ask all he can about your team and adventures, he also wants to know about your relationship with Akechi and how it ended

Not the most helpful but certainly someone you can lean on when the pressure becomes too much

Mammon

Is the most concerned about learning everything and he really doesn't plan to keep his mouth shut about it

From the moment he's told to keep watch of you Mammon is freaked out about everything happening in your life

Arsène nearly fights him day one and from then on he decides that you clearly need help surviving in this world

Don't tell him about Akechi right away or he will threaten to keep you locked up in the devildom to avoid anything bad from happening again

Even hearing about what you did as a phantom thief is a lot, sure at first he's all over it, i mean you make so much money from it but then he thinks about just how often you could have died

The more he thinks the worse it gets

Honestly after a few very very long talks about it he's willing to take you on little trips to the human world so you can go to the metaverse together but he's going to be your guard dog

Will never be willing to let Akechi near you after he learns you like him but is pretty cool with the rest of the thieves

All in all not bad but very worried if he's not around you

Leviathan

Honestly thinks its cool, worrying yes, but very cool in some ways funny in others

Everything you tell him sounds like something right from one of his animes and he NEEDS to know more

How did a lame human like you get to do all that awesome stuff, what do you mean you faked your own death? AND plan to fight the government? He wants in but not really

Gives you really good advice when it comes to planning actually, this man is the Grand Admiral after all

Will not help you at all with romance and is in fact very jealous that someone who wants you dead is more important than him but he's not gonna say that

Freaks out just a little (a lot) when he learns about everything you've already done and had to go through but is weirdly supportive

Finds animes that make him think of you so now you both have to watch them as a treat.

Overall is pretty okay with the whole thing and great to go to for planning

Satan

Pretty annoyed at first but thats too be expected getting to know you though he becomes fascinated in the life you've lived

It feels nearly impossible when he first learns the truth but seeing first hand proof really gets him on board

He's going to try and use your persona's for the anti Lucifer club so be ready for that

Hate the very idea of Akechi and will sold you for falling for someone like that, he's also somewhat (way too) worried about the types of people you make friends with

How are you not dead?? A valid question he regularly asks yet never gets a real answer for

Is brutally honest about everything, he pulls no punches and you will know how he feels when it comes to the life you've lives, truly a blessing and curse

Not very helpful but still reliable it's not like he wants you dead or anything so if his advice can keep you around then you have it

Asmodeus

Is the best person to go to about all of this. He wants to hear all the juicy gossip and can give you some advice on getting peoples trust

Tell him all the little details, come to him for help with your confidants Asmodeus is greatest for all things people

Sure most of it is subterfuge but it works out for everyone

He feels genuine sadness for you when he learns about the hardship you and your friends have been through and he really wants you to make up with Akechi

All of the brothers know what it's like to live in a world where people look down on you but Asmo is the most open about it, he understands

Just a good vibe, he's still gonna flirt and joke around but you have his support and backing whenever you need

Playing dress up with the persona's and you, whenever and wherever some of them are just so pretty

does find it a little funny that you just talk around with a bunch of illegal things to sell at some random pawnshop and will never stop mocking you

Beelzebub

Worries a good amount after learning about your life, humans aren't meant to do things like that, what if you get hurt?

He wishes you didn't have to go through such things but he's still going to root you on

Take you out to eat often, if you're doing all that fighting you need to keep your energy up

Will work out with you all the time, keeping you ready for any fight that's bound to pop up in the devildom

Very reassuring in his own way, he gets that life is stressful and you do so much yet get almost nothing return, he wants to change that

Learning about Akechi is a bad time for Beel

He's just sooo worried about you and what happened, really doesn't think it's a good idea to be involved with someone like that

Beel just wants to see you happy and safe, you're practically part of the family and one of his closest friends, if you ever need help you can lean on him

Belphegor

Gets a really good laugh out it, he's so judgemental about your choices but in a more joking way once you get to know him

He's kind of impressed that you made it this far, after all you fell for his trap yet managed to topple people who have been hiding their crimes for years?

Also wants to use you and your skills against Lucifer and will plan for hours on how to get you to join

Not really interested in your friends but if you start talking about them he listens attentively

Starts to worry when you tell him about the cop and Akechi though he's so down for you just fighting the government more or less

Reminds you to take breaks and no overwork yourself, it's easy to pull yourself too thin between this school and life plus everything with mementos

The moment he learns about what Akechi did he feels a little awful, it's not that different from his own plan and tactics he can't imagine how much it affected you

Honestly these things help him get closer to you, a way for you both to lean on each other and make up for the past

A/N: I played through this game multiple time cause she was just that damn cool.

Naoto had only recently started to get comfortable with showing her affection for you openly

She is a detective after all, as such there could be enemies and danger lurking around every corner, looking to exploit her weaknesses

It was only after she got settled in her new friend group that she started to be more affectionate, holding you hand as you walked to school and kissing your cheek before class started

Her hand drifts to yours when you're walking beside each other, her smile no longer hidden just for you behind closed doors

Often get's bus rides back home with the rest of her friends and now you're part of that group too

She's always the one to get to a free seat first, moving fast and nimble in between crowds and finding that perfect spot to sit at

There is a seat next to her, you could sit there and lean your head on her shoulder but there's empty spots next to you as well

Normally that's not an issue but she noticed that some members of her group are a little dense and don't get that you're her girlfriend

So to show them she pulls you into her lap, smiling and taking off her hat to hide your faces as she plants a kiss on your lips

It's not really hiding, even if she at at the corner so there's no one at her other side it's very obvious that she's kissing you by that blush on your face when her hat drops

Of course!!! I hope this is enough!!!

Adachi, regardless of his partner’s gender, is always more than happy to accept gifts from anyone he considers attractive.

When you first offered to make food for him, specifically catering to his tastes alone, it plagued his brain for the entire day. The entire WEEK even. He couldn’t stop thinking about you, his cheeks warmer than he ever expected them to be.

In all honesty, he felt a little… proud? He was lucky enough to have you offer your skills and talent in food creation… for what? His time? His personality? As much as he wanted to believe those were adequate payment for your offer, a little voice in the back of his head told him that it wasn’t exactly fair to you.

Accepting something so nice from someone so handsome without being able to pay back anything of worth felt like a crime! Not that he wasn’t used to committing those, but I digress.

He became obsessed with the idea of how personal you made every meal and dessert feel, how each bite felt like heaven incarnate. Very soon, it hit him that his obsession with your kindness through food had turned into an obsession with the idea of being yours.

Even now, he still gets foolishly giddy about you packing lunches or making dinner for him; even leftovers are a treat when his favorite guy made them!!!

He considers himself the luckiest guy in the whole world, having someone so wonderful care about him so much and providing him with something so intimately kind and inherently selfless… he can’t believe you’d like someone like him!!!

He’s always more than a little eager to show off how much you love him this way… Dojima has definitely heard way more about you than he cares to know. Adachi is definitely the type to oh so very subtly encourage you to deliver snacks and such to him while he’s on the job. Just so he can prove to his colleagues that you’re as great as he says you are!!!

It was that time of the year when you grew a year older.

You had to be honest. You did not care much about your birthday. Even though it was a special moment, you never made it a big deal. In fact, throughout most of your life, you have never made it a celebration unless your friends and family had planned something extra. Therefore, the most you spent on your birthday was opening presents and maybe going out.

That was, until today.

At first, it started with you waking up to breakfast in bed. And yes, all of it was made by your boyfriend, Yosuke. You did not want to discredit him for his cooking skills. It was only the fact that he must have had to wake up early to make it. And he was one to only sleep in late whenever possible.

You were impressed by how full you felt after eating. But little did you know, that was only the beginning.

That was when Yosuke took you to Okina City, where you met up with the rest of the Investigation Team. You never thought you could have had this much fun on a day, but holy shit. It was a blast, especially in the shopping mall. Yosuke was spoiling you like you were royalty. Although you were concerned that his wallet would end up empty even before the end of the day (which surprisingly did not happen. But it almost did).

It was not as if you were not grateful for what your boyfriend and friends had planned. You were thankful for everything they did during the celebration! However, Yosuke had another surprise. After being told to close your eyes and open your palms, you felt something in your hands.

Opening your eyes, you swore your face had gone pale. It was two tickets to see (F/A). What shook you was that the concert was happening today, and Yosuke had bought them without your knowledge.

You had no words to describe how fun the concert was. All you knew was that it was one for the memory books.

The moment you walked into the bedroom, you rushed straight to the bed, collapsing onto it back first. Yosuke chuckled, placing almost all your gifts on the floor (Of course, he wanted to be extra and carry almost everything. You were worried that his arms would fall off from how much was in it). “Had a pretty busy day, right, babe?”

“Tell me about me,” you grinned. You slowly sat up. “But it was fun. I never expected to be spending my birthday like this. I can’t even believe you planned all of this out without my knowledge!”

“Well, you are my (s/o), so I gotta treat you like royalty on your birthday! But then again,” Yosuke sat down next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer to him. “I have to treat you like royalty every day, regardless. I would be a pretty shitty boyfriend if I didn’t do that,” You felt yourself blushing as he turned to place a kiss on your cheek, but then you smiled.

“You’re the best. Do you know that? You made this one of the best birthdays of my life. Ever.”

Yosuke smiled softly. “I guess I did a good job planning your birthday, then!” He chuckled. “But anything for my baby.”

A few minutes of silence passed. During that time, Yosuke unreleased his arms from your waist, and you decided to check out your presents again. To say you were happy with what you received on your birthday was a bit of an understatement. All your friends knew you so well!

However, unbeknownst to you, Yosuke was staring at you with a nervous feeling crawling up inside him. He never thought he would be this nervous, especially since the day he asked you to be his (S/O). Yet, here it was, the butterflies in his stomach. He could almost feel his heartbeat increasing.

It was when you turned around to put your new (F/A/C) statue on the shelf (given to you by Yu) that Yosuke stood up. “Babe?” As you turned around to face him upon hearing your nickname, he found himself blushing. You tilted your head when he said nothing, and your boyfriend sighed. “Sorry. I..uh…”

Damn it, you better not chicken out! Just do it!

Yosuke internally grimaced at the voice in his head. Suddenly, it was almost as if you were fading away, and the only thing present was himself and his inner consciousness. Was he about to get into another argument with himself again?!

I will, but not now!

You got the perfect opportunity to do it, and you decide to back out?! Get on with it!

How can I when I’m nervous?!

THEN STOP BEING NERVOUS! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU FUCK THIS WHOLE THING UP–

“You good?”

Yosuke blinked at your voice. That was when he made eye contact with you, and Yosuke noticed a somewhat concerned look on your face. “Hon, you blanked out.”

The brown-haired man sighed and ran his hand through his hair. “Sorry, (N/N). I'm...nervous. I don't wanna mess up this surprise, you know? Especially not on your birthday.”

Your heart clenched, watching as Yosuke looked off to the side, not wanting to make eye contact with you. And at that point, you could sense his nervousness. If there was one thing you hated, it was your boyfriend being insecure and nervous. So you carefully placed your hand on his cheek, caressing his skin with your thumb, and that was when he looked back at you.

“Yosu, you could never do anything to mess up my surprises,” you cooed. “Haven’t you seen how well your surprises went on my birthday? I literally could not stop thinking about them! So whatever you have planned for me next, I’m ready for it. No matter how big or small it is.”

Seeing your smile and hearing the cute nickname you gave him shot a tang of happiness in his heart. God, you were just so cute!

With his anxiety almost fading away, Yosuke sighed again and cleared his throat. “Well then, I guess I’ll get on with it.” He started. He scratched his cheek with a finger before staring at you again. “(Y/N), I first need to ask you this question, and I want you to answer me as honestly as possible.”

You raised an eyebrow but nodded your head. “Got it. What’s up?”

Yosuke then looked straight into your eyes, but not in a creepy way. “Do you see yourself being with me forever? Like for the rest of your life until the day you die?”

You were taken aback by this question. It almost made you curious about the surprise, wanting to know about it now. But you knew this would not happen, so you might as well give Yosuke a reply. “I’m not lying when I say this, but yes,” A blush crept on your cheeks. “Considering how many years we have been together, you make me so happy, and without you, I dunno what to do. I don’t think I could have asked for a better boyfriend like you, not that I think I would ask for another one.”

God damn, Yosuke almost wanted to tear up. But not now.

“I’m glad you think so because I feel the same way,” Yosuke continued. “Honestly, sometimes I can’t help but be in disbelief that I’m dating someone as amazing as you. Despite some of the stupid things I did in the past or just how ridiculous I can be, you have never once thought of leaving me. You have always stayed by my side and helped me whenever needed. That is why I just had to ask you.”

This is it, me. No going back!

Yosuke almost felt like he was shaking when he slowly got down onto his knees, pulling out a small box. Your eyes widened at first at this action, but they widened even more as soon as he opened it. In it was a small golden ring. It sat there in front of you, showing off its beauty with the way it shone. Oh my God, you thought to yourself.

Feeling as though a tear was going to trickle down his cheek, Yosuke looked up at you and smiled softly. “(Y/N) (Y/L), will you stay with me for the rest of my life and marry me?”

An overwhelming feeling washed over you like the waves on the beach. You could not believe what was happening.

“W-Wait, are you serious?” you had to ask out of disbelief. “You want me to marry you?” You had to admit you had moments where you wanted to be married to your boyfriend before. But never have you thought of proposing to him or making him propose. If anything, this almost felt like a dream.

Yosuke chuckled. “Yes, babe. I’m being a hundred percent serious! More than anything in life, I want you to be my spouse. And I want to continue living with you for eternity. So what do you say?”

That was it. There was no holding back. Tears started forming in your eyes and immediately poured down your cheeks. “Yes,” you answered in a shaky voice as you nodded your head. “Yes, of course, I will marry you!”

Yosuke decided there was no other choice but to let his happy tears fall. He stood up on his feet and took your left hand, carefully placing the ring on your finger.

“G-God, Yosu, this ring is beautiful!” you gushed, looking at the finger. You have not done anything to it yet, but you were already starting to get scared that something would happen to it.

Your now-fiance chuckled. “I had to get it for the most beautiful person I know. And I’m glad I bought it. It looks perfect on you.”

The waterworks in your eyes kept on running, and you doubt they would stop anytime soon. You looked up at Yosuke with tear-stained vision. “This has been the best birthday ever. Not only did I spend it with the best people in my life, but now my long-time boyfriend is my fiance!”

“That proposal was the best present ever, am I right, baby?” Yosuke winked, poking your cheek.

“Damn right it was,” you grinned.

Then you placed your hands on his cheeks, pulling his face in for a kiss. There was no hesitation as he returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close. At that moment, you and Yosuke felt like the only people in the world.

Pulling away, you looked up at Yosuke. “I love you so much, Yosu. So Goddamn much.”

Yosuke smiled softly, leaning forward so his forehead would be resting against yours. “And I love you so much too, (N/N). Happy birthday, baby.”

aaand before we end the fanfic, i have a message for you, nikki:

damn. you’re 26 now? just 4 more years until you’re 30, you old hag. LMAO JK JK.

but anyways, i hope you enjoyed this fanfic! i’m sorry i couldn’t actually buy you anything and then give it to you as an early present when i saw you last weekend. unfortunately, i couldn’t find anything good to give you, but i felt bad for nothing getting you anything, so i might as well write you another yosuke fic (don’t worry, hopefully by this christmas, i’ll find you something good hehe 😉).

Doctors In Love

Okay so a little background. Today is my birthday and I love mad scientist/doctor characters so much. So I decided that I would indulge in writing about some of my favorites in many kinds of situations about my life, still no gender or descriptions but I'll note what each character deals with in case you wanna skip something. Anyways enjoy. Warnings for strong languages, blood, injuries, experimentation on reader and other people and like creepy doctor things. Also maybe spoilers for some of them

Dottore- S/O is super clumsy

Dottore at first seems like he doesn't care about how clumsy you are, as long as you aren't breaking his things it doesn't matter

However, as we know our dear doctor would not be with you if he didnt care and though he doesn't tend to show it he actually cares a lot

He found out just how bad this problem was when he saw you get cut by a spoon only to then continue to use said spoon to eat

After that he began keeping a closer eye on you and oh my sometimes he found it hard to believe you managed to come this far with such luck

Most of the time when he can't be around he has one of his segments keeping you company, dont worry they like you just as much as he does

They do a good job at steering you away from too much trouble but slip ups happen and when it does Dottore is always there to help patch you up and fix any mess

" You know if something even has a chance of causing you injury you really should just let one of the others handle it. Though I suppose this is part of your charm."

Maruki- S/O that rambles a lot

I think Maruki would be wonderful when it comes to a good debate

He listens well and always takes your thoughts into consideration when looking over his own work plus he loves getting to share his thoughts with someone just as passionate

Maruki loves getting to hear you talk about anything you like and if it happens to be something he knows about then he gets just as hyped

He tends to jump around conversations so if you can keep up with him it makes him so happy and warm

Always praising you when your studying or working on something no matter what its related to

Will spend hours in a debate with you about the difference of a villain and a vigilante and why it's important to know

" You know I love whenever you get really into a topic, it could be about anything. I just like that look of utter joy you get when we talk about it."

Mayuri- S/O has weak bones

Mayuri is a little mean about it but ultimately won't care until it causes trouble

He's about mocking about how frail your body is but should you ever get hurt he will be the one to fix you even if it means just making new bones for you

Since it doesn't affect your ability to work he still expects a lot of you but as his partner Mayuri is more forgiving if you end up making a mistake

Nemu told to keep a close eye on you whenever Mayuri is busy and if he needs her for something his squad knows to make sure you aren't hurt

It can be annoying with how often you risk breaking a bone or just having a day where walking or writing is tough but he plans to make something to fix this problem

You have so many splints and braces to use thanks to him making new ones to see what works, in a way you become a guinea pig but at least he's trying to help

" Sometimes I wonder what you would do without me. Now sit still! You're lucky I'm willing to put up with this, dont smile like that I never said I enjoyed helping you."

Urahara- S/O with a heart problem

Urahara would be the best boyfriend if you had any kind of sickness or major health problem

When it comes to your medication Urahara has a schedule to make sure you never miss the time he even starts to take breaks from work to make sure you eat with him when you need to take it

On days when an SVT causes trouble Urahara will be there to help calm it down and make sure it doesn't become any worse

Without you even asking Urahara will make you a gigi one with no problems you would have to worry about so if you want to do something but can't because of your heart he has you covered

When and if you want to get surgery he'll also be there to help as long as your safe and happy then he's also happy

Urahara will look for a great hospital to go to and have everything needed for your recovery you wont need to worry about it at all

" It's nice getting to see you so excited but please be careful, you don't want to push yourself too much. You might not need medicine anymore but we were told to not rush into doing thing for at least another month."

Szayelaporro- S/O who has a fear of medical things e.g needles

Look we should just say it outright Szayelaporro is going to be very mean about this and there is no escape from it

Not only will he mock you for being afraid but he would go out of his way to make you deal with some of these fear

Now I won't say he's totally heartless about this, if something is too much for you to handle he deals with it and if he crosses a line he will eventually apologizes

For the most part Szayelaporro will keep you away for his lab and research areas to make sure you don't have to be nervous about anything

He gets really good at hiding anything that might freak you out should he need you to come visit him and if you need blood drawn he's the only one allowed to do it

With how much he tease or just bullies you about this it can be said that he does actually want to help you overcome this fear, things like this are part of his life and he doesn't want you afraid of him

" Though it might seem scary, there is an art to things like this. The world of science is vast and ever changing. In the macabre we can still find beauty, it's why you and I ended up together after all."

All done! So I'm a day late but I had a lot of fun yesterday and ended up only writing for a few of them. I still wanted to finish it of course so here it is. Once more this is very much based on me so I know it's not something everyone will fit into but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. Thank you so much for reading and this is how I'll bring up that I’m now writing for Maruki. I played Persona 5 Royal with my family and loved it so much! Maruki became a favorite so fast.
