watched a video where a guy talked about the trailer and he only really discussed the brotherhood and how what's been revealed about the show directly contradicts established bos lore. absolutely gobsmacked to hear anyone's paying attention to bos lore consistency. bethesda doesn't even do that.

Evolution states that our ancestors crawled out of the ocean.

Historians believe that settlements formed on the banks or rivers, lakes, or ports of seas.

Maybe it's because we never forgot where we came from.

Maybe we all yearn to return.

Maybe the sea calls out to the parts of our DNA that once swam in vast prehistoric waters.

People always talk about how we are all stardust.

But by that token, we also are all sea creatures.

Maybe that is why my soul aches for the shore like a spiritual wound, throbbing dully in the back of my psyche.

Because yes, I was stardust,

but then I was in the sea.

And the stars are hard to get to, but I can drive to the beach.

love love LOOOOOOVE how kutner always checks up on thirteen with the simplest "are you okay" every single time he notices she's upset :(

like in 4x16 when she was shaken up about amber being their patient and how she was reluctant/uncomfortable to linger long enough in amber's apartment so kutner took it upon himself to check amber's bathroom and spared her that discomfort

and how in 5x01 he was the first to speak up and ask her if she was okay after house told the team thirteen had huntington's and that her lifespan was cut in half

he was there, constantly THERE, to check up on her..... :( and this is one of the reasons why 5x20 still hurts so fucking much

i know it would've pissed some people off but i think adapting fallout 1 into a film would've been a better idea. it's a great game that you can sink a few hours into, but the dialogue options are largely binary, and the story's cleanly constructed and small-scale as far as fallouts go. i think it'd be relatively easy to translate into film, and translate faithfully. it'd also be a way to introduce folks who don't play isometric games to the story of fo1.

#penn posts #plus films are cheaper than shows and the folks who'd get pissed at bethsoft for making a fo1 movie likely don't approve #of the direction the company's taking the game series anyway.#so the backlash probably wouldn't be much worse than the usual fallout backlash.

In America, however, our elders long years gathered much hatred, intolerance, bigotry, and entitlement. We that are young have no use for this so-called 'wisdom'. There is no desire to sit at the feet of elders and learn when what pours out of their mouths is vitriol and hate.

You ever look at these things and think that they’d be freaking delicious?

Like, they’d probably have a texture between hard cheese (like those little cheese cubes you get at Sheetz) and pasta like penne.

You’d just stick your mouth onto it and chomp. Your teeth going through it like you would large pasta like ravioli and lasagna. (without the stuff in them)
